The pizza was amazing!! Would recommend! The service was incredible. However, the restaurant was a little loud.

There's plenty of seating. The staff is very friendly. The spinach artichoke dip was great. The tavern dip sandwich was also very good. The pizza could have been cooked longer but the others at our table said it was still pretty good. There was a mishap in the kitchen but our food still managed to come out quickly and well cooked.

Jen is an awesome bartender and made us feel so welcomed! I had the cranberry margarita as well as the spicy honey strawberry margarita, and both were delicious. Only $12 a piece too, which is a great deal. The happy hour menu is super reasonable, with $2 off draft beers and lots of food choices. Hubby had the personal pizza, which was a good size, and I had the spicy tuna roll, which had a surprisingly amount of tuna in it. The place was packed but the barstools were far enough apart that we didn't feel claustrophobic. TVs everywhere with sports and lots of beers on tap. I definitely can see why this is a popular spot in the area.

We previously tried takeout from Tommy's in Mt Laurel and really enjoyed the food. Maybe it was the excitement of tasting the food for the first time or maybe we just "ordered correctly," but this time around was not that. The new Cherry Hill location is nice! It's spacious, great ambiance, and has a nice upscale casual vibe (if that's what you're looking for). J and I went around 7:45ish and there was no wait, score! We started with cocktails...I enjoyed my classic Aperol Spritz but J was not too thrilled with his Peach Whiskey Smash...he said it was just too sweet. As for food, I started with the french onion soup....and too my surprise (not in a good way) was piled high with fried crispy onions. While this may have been a pleasant surprise for most, this onion variety is just not my jam. Unfortunately, once I moved my pile of onions to the side, I was still not impressed with the soup. I'm sure the saltiness of the cripsy onions brings out the flavor of the soup, and without them the broth is verrrry mild in flavor. The gooey cheese was the only redeeming quality, which I devoured. Hubs went with the spinach and artichoke dip to start since there weren't too many gluten free options available to try. Again, it was....OK. For mains, I went with the "original wings." I'm 100% one of those people who tries wings if they seem "famous" even in the slightest. They were burnt and just ok. They're served with the longest long hot you've ever seen and grilled onions. Only a few of the wings really took on the flavor pepper/onion flavor combo while the rest just tasted, well....burnt. J got a burger, no bun. I had high hopes for the burger since it was the first thing you smelled when you walk in the door. He said it was fine but nothing to rave over. Our main takeaway- this place is overpriced for what is being served, and we love their sushi (which is what we ordered the first time around), but why order sushi from an American restaurant when you have tons of great sushi spots in the area? We likely won't be returning. Oh well, we tried!

It was great for a quick casual meal. The place is HUGE. Service was sufficient! Bathroom clean and spacious. It's weird that it replaced Houlihans because it's very similar. Great playlist too All the food was very tasty too. Very good portions for price. Easily would go back for convenience and reliability.

small plate Burrata - super duper yummy! (10/2/24)

Such a big and beautiful sports bar! The menu is so extensive - wow! Unfortunately, my way of life eating is no / very little carbs at dinnertime. No problem- I got a small plate Burrata. It was quite delicious and filled me enough. My friend got a classic Caesar and a cup of tomato basil soup. This was her third visit! She loved her soup; salad just fair. Our server was a bit over the top but nice. Tommy's reminded me of Chickie and Pete's. Although I enjoyed it, Im not dying to go back or anything.

Chili nachos are bomb! It's a big portion which ended up being my meal. The roasted Tommy Tavern wings are seriously amazing. It is super flavorful and juicy, don't even need to dip it in anything. Their spinach dip is okay. The guacamole and chips here are decent.

Great pizza that lasted one slice before being knocked off the table and graciously replaced .

Six of us landed at PHI and drove to our hotel and were craving a good local meal. Found this place close by . Our server Kayla(? I think ) made all the difference . Patiently answered all our dumb questions, made recommendations and got us take. Care of . Meals tasted great , big plates make the meal seem small in comparison to price but I know how the math works for restaurant economics. Maybe smaller plates for certain things . My kid got careless and dumped the fantastic pizza on the floor after one slice and they happily made another (Kayla awesome ). We enjoyed it enough to return the following night and Kayla served us again as a party of nine this time . The menu is huge (including a separate sushi section prepared in second kitchen ), the beer selection is heavily skewed to IPAs and the staff from the busser to mgr making the rounds was friendly and genuinely cared . I recommend if you are in town and don't know what your family wants to eat .. something for all.

I read a thousand times before coming.... "Don't complain about how loud it is - it's loud because it's a sports bar!" HOLY MOLY IT'S LOUD IN HERE. You shouldn't have to leave a restaurant with a scratchy voice because you had to yell to have a simple conversation in a booth in the back where it's supposedly quieter. The food was OK. A little eye-watering pricing. $18 for excellent calamari appetizer. $12 for a small plate of cheese curds. But really - if you look at the pictures of the "LOADED" NACHOS, they need to redefine their idea of what loaded is. A sprinkling of everything on top, and anything underneath was pretty much naked. No, you already asked three times, I do not want to join your rewards program because after this experience, I doubt I'll ever come back.

There's two dining areas that can be chosen with one having a bar that can seat 10+ people. Started with a couple of great drinks and their french onion soup. The soup was topped with a cheese layer and pieces of crostinis within the soup. Great for a snowy day. The california chicken wrap was a big meal especially with the flaky french fries on the side. The sandwich needed more chipotle mayo on the side which was great for the fries. My medium rare wagyu burger with the bacon jam was HUGE! The jam did taste like beef jerky which was a new experience. We will definitely be back to try some of their other menu items.

We didn't realize that the restaurant was a part of a country club until we arrived (no where in the reviews did it mention this) but we've done brunch at other country clubs throughout Jersey and it was wonderful. Upon entering the restaurant we saw their only brunch option was for a brunch buffet and from our quick scans of the buffet walking to the hostess stand we all decided we would not be doing brunch (pastries looked like they were from Coscto, warm food looked as though it had been sitting there for a while and the omelettes coming from the omelette station didn't look spectacular so we opted to do their lunch menu instead. Service was SSSLLLLLOOOOOWWWWW! From the very beginning until the very end. It took about 15 minutes before our server arrived to greet us, then another 15 for our first round of cocktails to come out, the about a half an hour for us to be told that they were out of 1 of the 3 appetizers we ordered ... so no lie, after being there a full hour we finally received 2 of the 3 appetizers and were then just able to order a second round of cocktails and our main courses. The cocktails weren't the greatest either. We thought perhaps the first round was our fault because we all tried their "blackberry espresso martini" and we knew it was a risk from the beginning ... so we ordered "safer" cocktails for round 2 and the prosecco based cocktails were even worse than the blackberry espresso martinis smh. I truly don't understand how one messes up prosecco + a splash of limoncello and cranberry (that was what was supposed to be in the cocktail) but they certainly messed it up, to the point where I didn't drink it. Our entrees finally arrived and WOMP WOMP WOMP! Overall every single one was MID at best ... and all I had was French onion soup and a wedge salad .... like how is it possible for those to be BLAH? Food was so MEH we didn't even take pics lol. Needless to say we all agreed we wouldn't be back and wished we had decided on what was our 2nd option for brunch instead.

Even made my own a few times, thinking I had it all figured out. But then I walked into The Bank Bar and had my mind completely rearranged. The place itself? Perfect. It's got that old-school, no-nonsense vibe with just enough charm to let you know they actually care. You walk in, and it's like the place has been waiting for you--dark wood, a little history on the walls, and that unmistakable smell of something incredible happening in the kitchen. The kind of place where you know, deep down in your soul, that good things are about to happen. And then came the sandwich. This roast pork wasn't just good. It wasn't just great. It was the best roast pork sandwich I have ever had in my life. No exaggeration. First bite--boom--instant revelation. The pork was juicy, packed with deep, rich flavor, and shredded just right, like it had been slow-cooked by someone who truly understands patience. The roll? Oh man, that perfect balance of crusty and soft, holding everything together without stealing the show. Then you get hit with the garlicky, herb-loaded bite of the greens--sautéed just enough to still have a little bite, but soft enough to melt into everything else. And the cheese? Sharp provolone, the kind that makes your taste buds wake up and pay attention. I sat there, sandwich in hand, just nodding to myself like some kind of roast pork prophet. Every bite was a reminder that this is how it's supposed to be done. It wasn't a meal. It was a life experience. If you haven't been to The Bank Bar yet, fix that immediately. Order the roast pork. She brought us extra bread and surprised us with a champagne toast for the adults and carbonated apple juice for my son, which made him feel incredibly celebrated. The food was outstanding. The bone-in, dry-aged New York strip may have been one of the most tender, perfectly cooked, and well-seasoned steaks I've ever had. Pro tip: arrive early if you want bar seating, the bartenders are extremely friendly, genuinely engaging, and it is fun to watch them craft the drinks. We took full advantage of the happy hour menu with a dozen oysters, Wagyu beef sliders, a dirty martini, and a glass of Caymus. The happy hour pricing is a solid deal and the food quality was excellent. Another couple joined us, so we moved to a table and continued into dinner. Appetizers included a Caesar salad, burrata and beet salad, and lobster bisque. The burrata and beet salad was bright, fresh, and zesty and really stood out. The lobster bisque was the one miss of the night, served lukewarm with only a small piece of lobster. For mains, we ordered the Chilean sea bass prepared Chinese-style and the A5 Wagyu dumplings. The sea bass was exceptional, flavorful, perfectly cooked, and generously portioned. The wine list is phenomenal with great options by the glass and bottle, and the cocktail program is clearly handled by skilled professionals. This is also a great choice for a romantic night out.
