Seasonal special
Sue C.

For a chain, their food is exceptionally good and the bartenders are always friendly. So many TVs that you can't keep up with all the games they're showing. I also love that they have a ton of beers on tap and lots of seasonal cocktails to choose from. I would give them five stars, but sometimes their service can be a bit slow in the dining room, and bathrooms a tad messy.

Loaded 'Tater Tots

Stopped in yesterday (Saturday) for lunch. I got a grilled chicken caesar salad and my friend got loaded tots. My salad was good. She liked her tots. Service was good. Food was good. Fresh brewed unsweetened iced tea is my go to. I love that they serve it!

This was my FIRST visit to this bar and I am impressed. Their covered patio is large and has a full size bar area with plenty of tables. The menu is not extensive but has all the typical choices for a bar restaurant. GREAT selection of beers, including some seasonal beers. Food was good. We had wings with two different sauces. And Nashville chicken sandwich. Chicken was made right and had great flavor, but the bun compared to the chicken breast was too SMALL. Wish it came with more than two pickles. Service was great. The lady helping us checked in with our table often and was on top of her game. Glad to see plenty of parking in the back. Place did get busy after 5 pm on Wednesday so I can only expect it's busy most of the time.

Came here for the game. Just wanted to find a spot with a lot of tv's and a full bar. We got just that. There Apt of bar food, but that's expected because it's a pub. Service was good. We were checked on regularly considering we stayed for a 4 hour Thursday Night Football game. My friend got the wings. She didn't care for them. Tasted like they were cooked-frozen wings drop in the fryer. The breading was weird. Didn't get a picture. She tasted them and sent them back. The atmosphere was decent for a game day. I do hate that they were trying to set the DJ up for an Eagles prom time game. Thankfully enough he couldn't get the set up to work. Everyone was more into the game anyway. As a result it wasn't that loud. Just the game's commentators and cheering when the Eagles made a play.

Quality and service has steadily gone downhill. Price has gone way up. No thanks. All of their branches suck now. Go see for yourself.

It was very busy at the time I went and there was to be up to a 15 minute wait, so I was pleasantly surprised when no more than 2 minutes went by before I got the text that the booth was ready. The hostess was very friendly and accommodating. It was bustling and loud inside. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and fast. Ordered onion rings for the table, which were very good. For the main dish, this time I ordered the 20oz bone in ribeye, which was excellent. The only complaint I'd have was that the broccoli was a bit off and I had to leave them on the dish. The mashed potatoes were very good. The "steak sauce" wasn't needed and taste-wise it probably won't be for everyone anyway. Located in the Moorestown Mall, you don't need to go into the mall as Yard House has its own entrance. There is plenty of parking in the lots. This was twice for me in the Yard House and I can say I'm a fan. I'd easily come back here or any other Yard House location in the future. And I will.

Destiny our server kept tabs on us and tracked down things as needed. Most of our HH menu was sent via the tablet on the table, further enabling an awesome experience with no lag. Drinks came mostly fast. Food came hot. Never regret an early dinner at Yard House.

In fact, I'm glad we ended up here after all. This place is located in the Moorestown Mall, but you don't have to venture too deep into the mall to come here - in fact, the entrance is close to the mall's entrance. Everyone was friendly. The hostess who sat us was nice and our waitress was great. I really wish I remembered her name to give her credit here, but she was great all around. The menu had a lot of nice options that I really wanted to try, but I ended up with my regular and reliable bacon cheeseburger. My hungry eyes though is going to remember some of the other items for potential future visits. We also got the onion rings, which were very good. The burger was quite good as were the fries. The atmosphere inside was nice and relaxing and the music was good - this was mid afternoon, so it's likely the music changes for the evening. There is a choice of sitting outside or inside - we chose inside at a booth. As mentioned this is in the Moorestown Mall, so there's plenty of parking available. Overall recommended and a place I'd be happy to come back to if in the area again.

What a happy accident!…read more We were trying to go to Joe Italiano Maplewood, but unbeknownst to us, the Moorestown location closed! Across from them was Ryfe. We perused the menu and were in! Yay for pasta, what my heart was set on! Not only is this place gorgeous, the food was AH-MAZING!!! My Mussels in white sauce was sick good! Huge mussels atop absolutely delicious pasta. I actually asked if it was house made. Wasn't - I was shocked ! "Sir" had Tuscan Chicken and really enjoyed it! Our server, Sara, was pleasant, bubbly and attentive. We gave her deservedly kind props to the co-owner, Chris (see photo). I always enjoy when the managers, etc., stop by to talk / ask about meals. We learned that the chef, Marvin, does tastings (see photo for room) every Saturday night from 7-9 pm - 5 course meal, including wine and Prosecco, for $69/pp. RED SKY was the band playing tonight - sounded good plus nice people. WE ARE DEFINITELY COMING BACK!

So, after doing a little search, this place popped up. Seems like they have a bunch of locations, including one in KOP. But we went with this Cherry Hill location since it's a bit closer. Even though it was full in the restaurant we didn't have to wait long for a table (maybe 10 minutes, if that). All of the staff were cool and friendly, and our waitress was so great! She gave a really good rundown and suggestions of menu options. So, think we got a bit excited from all her suggestions and underestimated the portion sizes because we ended up with a lot of food! Lol. Wings, shrimp, meatballs, nachos - all pretty decent portions/larger plates. I was even shocked by the "side of bread" being a plate of bread lol. The wings were really good, meatballs were ok, shrimp good and nachos ok too. Our little one enjoyed her Kid's Pizza, which was large than we were expecting for her. Would come back to this location or try out the KOP one.

Tommy's Tavern has a large variety of options with some combinations I haven't experienced or even thought of putting together before. Our waitress was very kind and stopped by to check on us multiple times throughout the meal. There was plenty of seating available for a Sunday afternoon, and the plates of food were flowing out of the open kitchen nonstop. Their sushi is always plated beautifully with thick, generous rolls. The lobster roll was my favorite, delivering a creamy seafood explosion within every bite. The jalapeño on top of the other roll gave it a satisfying crunch, and the heat level was 100% on point. The sushi pizza is an absolute MUST TRY because this dish is only made this way here. The wonton crust topped with all the different ingredients creates a perfect appetizer plate that's both unique and shareable. The blueberry pear flatbread was on their limited menu, and I had to step outside my usual order because I love blueberries. There's a lot of sweetness in every bite, and it reminds me of a fruitier version of French toast. Not bad at all, but you have to be in the mood for something on the sweeter side to order that again. The French onion soup had a thick layer of cheese and was packed with bread pieces throughout, making it hearty and satisfying. All the dishes were so good, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at Tommy's Tavern. With creative menu options, attentive service, and consistently well-executed food, this spot has earned a place in our regular rotation.

Prior to going I looked up their beer list on Untappd and was overwhelmed by the beer selection. Unfortunately (but fortunately because it made my beer selection decisions much easier) many of the craft beers listed were sold in cans. The beers on the numbered list on Untappd are the beers available on tap (all other beers listed are in cans or bottles). They still had a nice variety of craft beers on tap and I really enjoyed the few I tried. They seemed a bit pricey though and even the lower ABV beers were served in smaller glasses. We got two seats at the bar around 6:30 on a Friday night. All night people were coming and going and there was nobody really standing around waiting for bar seats for too long. The bartender was nice and he was the only one working when we first arrived but after a bit there were multiple people behind the bar. It definitely felt divey inside. My dad said the bar top was the same bar top from years and years ago when he used to come here when he was my age. We split wings with medium Buffalo sauce and cheesesteak fries. I frequently see Jay's wings mentioned on SJFS and for good reason. They were top notch and I'd come back just for the wings. They might even be at the very top of my wing list (although I'd try a different sauce next time). Incredibly crispy and weren't chewy whatsoever. The cheesesteak fries (cheesesteak served over a bed of waffle fries were also surprisingly good. While at Top Golf earlier in the week our bay host recommended them and advised all the food at Jay's is very good. I wasn't expecting to spend $100+ at a dive bar between two of us but the experience was very good. If I lived a little closer I would definitely be there all the time. Even though the beer list is good I'd probably stick with drinking a domestic draft or bottle the next time I go to avoid spending as much as we did on smaller glasses of craft beer. I will definitely be back and will be looking forward to trying more menu items in the future.
