    Hot wings

Hole in the wall but great service and really, really good wings! Went around lunch time and it had a decent crowd seated at booths/tables and a few people at the bar. Or maybe it looked like a decent crowd since the place is pretty small. I heard music from behind us. TV was on sports network. Bartender was friendly and attentive. Good beer menu. We got the hot wings which weren't real hot, but had a nice kick. Honey habaneros were were great, too, and they were all nice size wings

Let me tell you i am way to sober for the shit that just happened Jay's Elbow Room! The bouncers literally let me in then gave my husband and our friend a hard time. I literally had my diaper changed on this MF bar. Eddie was my mothers old friend from countryside (Eileen Green) and I grew up with his nephew Mark who we had a few bad moments but he as still like fam bc of our fam! I have literally been here more times in my life than I can count with no issues...here to pregame with my moms friends before and my friends went out, after she passed bc well memories , after my own industry shifts bc well they still served food and tonight bc well we were meeting up with cool peoples. NEVER have I ever in my 48 years of life been so disrespected by a fucking "bouncer". I have been a server and a bartender in those years and this "kid" lost his hod damn mind the way he spoke to us. I walked past him after his ignorant words but he needs to be put in his place. We weren't some young 20 something's (not that the behavior is ok towards them either)....he needs to get off his power trip and disrespectful speaking!

    Strong whiskey & Coke.

This dive bar is iconic. You don't go for the ritz or razzle dazzle; you go for cheap wings and bottom shelf liquor.

The TV had QVC on it - asked for it to be changed. The guests before us must have spilled their drink on the floor. The straw and lemon were under my feet along with the wet puddle. I didn't want my jacket or purse to get wet. We started with the mini cheese panzarotti's came with side of marinara. This cheese inside was so good. Ordered tots for the table, so hot and crispy. Hit the spot!! We also got two orders of wings. Honey and the buffalo garlic parm. Didn't read reviews or look at pictures. They don't cut the flats, and that's my favorite wing. It is still with that other part of the chicken wing. The wings come in a bowl and they are saucy. I would prefer tossed then in a basket. Our oldest kid had a burger with a kids salad. Thanks for having a kids salad as an option!! That was great. Overall, the food was good, we were nearby for a soccer game, so it did the job. I wouldn't go out of my way, but I would give it what it was for the feel of the place. Our main waitress was just ok, but another woman walking around and checking in was way more pleasant, she also changed the channel from QVC to golf for us. Check it out - the wings were good, very interesting style.

The cheese dip was served with both tortilla chips and soft tortillas. It was nice to have an option. My cheese steak was excellent, and my wife really enjoyed her tuna that she got. Everything was chopped evenly and broiled to perfection. I did get a decent amount of clam. The description says bacon but I'm glad it wasn't big pieces of crispy bacon. It almost seemed like pancetta. I wish I took a picture. They are a little greasy so I'm not sure why they serve them with a side of butter. I think that's a waste. I ordered the Reuben for my entree and upgraded from chips to potato salad. This was an amazing choice. One of the best Reubens I've had in awhile. I was nervous at first seeing the thick bread but it all came together. It wasn't greasy at all. The corned beef was crispy which made it easier to bite. Who hates trying to bite through tough corned beef???? The amount of sauerkraut was perfect. One half of my sandwich had the perfect amount of dressing. The other half was dry. I usually ask for a side of dressing but didn't this time. I am so glad I upgraded to potato salad. It's only $1 extra and I highly recommend. This reminded me of my family recipe. This sandwich comes with chips and I'm not sure what that means. I'm not a huge potato chip person.
