Had a pretty good experience last weekend. Sat in the inside/outside area where you can look out and they have heaters, but you also can hear rain on the patio roof. Food was pretty good, service was friendly and consistent asking/checking in if we needed anything, and the long ramp made it wheelchair accessible for the one person in our party. It's been probably 30 years since I've stopped in at Otts. The place has changed radically, especially with the back porch. One thing that hasn't changed, is their cheesesteak. Arguably the best cheesesteak in the Philadelphia area! My wife and I both enjoyed one. Hers came with tater tots and mine with Old bay fries. We opted to set inside instead of on the deck. It brought back some memories. Our server did a fairly good job keeping tabs on us and her bar. Not sure the next time will be in the area. We used to eat lunch there weekly when working at CSEDS. Friday 7/18. This was our second time to Ott's. This is fast becoming our new go-to date night restaurant. The wait staff is super friendly and they seem to all help each other, so you are not sitting there waiting for someone to come take care of you, or come back and see how you're doing. They are also not hovering every 5 minutes. The food (both times) was amazing! We had burgers this time and they were both done exactly as we ordered. They have what seems to be 4 different atmospheres depending on your preference. There is a small outdoor seating section, a covered porch type atmosphere, a bar atmosphere and a smaller room all the way through if you want a more quiet casual restaurant experience. Best local spot around for a cold beer/drink and great bar food. Note...bar food. If you're looking for 5 star dining, go elsewhere, we don't want you here. Otts isn't known for its ambiance or quiet conversations. Servers are super nice and come around often to make sure you're always taken care of. "Shelbyville Whistlers". Little deck out back, classic cozy neighborhood dive inside (your racist neighbor is in there). The two connected by a large semi-open covered patio bar (your racist cousin, there). Gets hot in there. Good selection of beers and sports on the tv. Big menu of bar food that missed the "upscale" trend. Nothing fancy and nothing impresses or disappoints. I ordered a chicken sandwich expecting a fried breast and found it was one of those frozen patties lmao. My mistake. It was fine. Bartenders were friendly! Didn't check out the liquor store. Time might be better spent grabbing a pint of vodka and hitting up the catty corner 7-11 for red bull and some taquitos or hot dogs. read more

Do not let the 3.0 star review discourage you from coming here! The vast majority of those negative reviews were from many years ago. Ott's has stepped up their game big time! The food is good and plentiful. Service is hometown standard with very attentive staff and ambiance is typical sports bar genre and noisy. Don't forget the pizza is made in a real pizza oven with the best of ingredients so enjoy your own concoction of toppings. Our favorite is the pork italiano with au jus that tastes great and fills the tummy. I'm not going with 5 stars but it's a 4+ place. read more

Great bar close to home! The food is great especially the cheese balls and chicken nachos! Service is always attentive and friendly!

I usually get a cheese steak of sorts, but we asked about the pizza and she said it was good. I got a white pie with garlic and added anchovies. I specified almost burnt, and it was delicious. I wish that they would unlock the front doors so people who park out front can enter the bar. A friend, who uses a walker, finds the distance to the quieter front room, a hassle. My husband and I went there for dinner in August, the tables were dirty and obviously never wiped down in between customers. Waitress was there, took order, delivered- that's part of the job but not friendly so the customer service piece is missing. Food was greasy and not very tasty. Went here during outdoor dining of Covid. They were AMAZING! It was hot out and the servers were still so happy to be there and take your order. Food came out quicker than it did before Covid which was great. Beers were cold, everyone was 6 feet apart and they kept it very clean. We got the wings which were very meaty and good. Then the spinach and artichoke dip which I wish there was more of, but still very good! We are happy to make this one of our regular spots! read more

Went to Otts for drinks after I had been previously at another restaurant for dinner. The bartender was visibly pissed off after the person I was with and I didn't want to order food. She rudely told us it was last call around 8:30 and we were only able to order one drink because of poor service and her glaring looks at our table. Feeling unwelcome, we finished our drink and asked for a check. My card came back as declined, which I found strange for only being a 15 dollar bill plus the tip I graciously added on for how I was treated. I checked with my credit card company today only to find out that this waitress tried charging me for a 50 DOLLAR TAB!!!!!!!! I was charged almost FOUR TIMES what my bill was after giving an undeserving waitress a 35% tip!!!! Go to Ott's in Delran if you want to be under appreciated, and overcharged. read more

I'm not a regular but I've been to Otts a few times throughout a few years and every time I make it to this bar they seem to step up the appearance. What was once a simple dive bar years ago with a small outside seating has expanded to have more of a vacation style feel to its outside deck with plenty of seating. The food is typically fried american food (burgers, wings, fries with globs of cheese and so on) with a decent selection compared to other bar venues. Not much to rave about if you compare it to a fancy restaurant but c'mon it's a bar! I wouldn't come here expecting a hostess to pull out the chair. The servers were nice, maybe a little annoying because they wanted us to run through drinks faster but other than that I like it here and plan on coming out again. read more

Our waitress had an attitude from a mile away once buisness picked up around 5:45pm. Not sure what else you could ask for. Affordable, decent bar food, cold and plentiful beer. But the thing that sets this place, this location, apart is the service. It's a team approach, and they just kill it. Even during the teeth of the pandemic with all the staffing issues, they figured something out. Food isn't half bad and I go to the small store they have regularly to make purchases. However, the customer service was a letdown. I was seated at a table of with 9 others and was running a bit late so there were no remaining chairs. I had to pull up a chair from an empty table near us and one of the servers yelled at me(lol) for taking the chair from an EMPTY table. Mind you, this was at a slow hour and we've been customers for almost 20 years. I only ordered a drink and apparently the host paid for everyone who ordered and left, forgetting to pay the tip(I paid for my drink on a separate check). So one of the waitresses starts yelling at me and a friend of mine because of the host forgetting to tip. Eventually my friend and I split the tip, but God did I feel insulted. This is no way a customer should be treated. Very unhappy experience. read more

I live right up the street from ott's but I've only been there twice. Once for drinks on a Friday night. It's the local watering hole so needless to say it was busy but nothing I couldn't handle. Overall nothing special. Today I ordered food to go. I ordered hot wings. The menu list them for $6.95 for a 12 piece. However, I was changed $9.09 so I'm guessing they charge a fee for take out. The wings were super dry and chewy. One was black (see picture). Overall my two experiences here won't be sending me back anytime soon. read more

Been here for dinner once, sat out back. Ate something forgettable and only fine. Excluding Philly, options are sparse on the bar front so the parking lot is usually full especially on game night. If from around here, you already know to expect to run into gross ghosts of high school past. But I am left unimpressed by Ott's service, after looking up the menu online and being told upon a call for pick up that they had none of the desired dishes. Just... none. You guys don't have fucking hamburgers? Nevermind the lobster bisque or tuna melt mentioned amongst your pages. No hamburgers? Local spot to have a beer and watch sports. I normally hang out on the outside enclosed porch. There is an area that is not enclosed. This is were the smokers hang out and it is cigar friendly. Inside is small with mostly bar seating. There is also a package store and they will also fill growlers from tap. As far as food is concerned I would stick with the burgers. They are good but served with chips instead of fries. Tried the fish and chips 3 times. Was not impressed. Beer selection is average. I have seen coctails being mixed but never tried one. I look at that as ordering fish at a steak resteraunt. I like the local feel of the place. It is family friendly. I have aways found the staff to be friendly and hard working. Unless you work or live in the area, I would not suggest a special trip here. read more

Ott's has been around for years and the food is good quality bar food, cooked to order and served by friendly (and nice looking) barmaids and the drinks are an honest pour at fair prices. I've been for lunch, dinner and sports events. Service can be slow when the joint is packed... What's new!!! Want faster service, sit at the bar... the service is always faster than I can drink. The crowd is mixed including jocks, business types, tradesmen, hotrod and bikers, family types and babes. Nearly all behave and the barmen and barmaids cutoff those who embarrass themselves or others. Nice Joint, not a Snake Pit, but it can be a bit edgy during major sports events or late PM. This is a must go to spot if you live in the area. This is our regular hangout. We also get take-out sometimes and we are never disappointed. The food and drinks are great! Whenever we go to a different place we are always comparing it to Ott's and Ott's always wins. We even get gift cards for other people here because we love it so much. Some of my favorite menu items are the tuna melt, chicken nachos, and chicken parm appetizer. read more
