Had lunch there recently, we go there on a regular basis. The food is good and generous portions. Our server was excellent. One thing I noticed is that the price of a local draft beer shot up to $9 - $9.50, used to be a lot less. Usually busy, the bar was empty, regulars can't afford that price. Too cute! I was taken here the night of the first Eagles game, and it was awash in green. I was kind of expecting a chain, but Dooney's has a strong local following as well. They had outdoor seating in a fenced off are with fire sticks around it, but didn't seem to have much lighting. Inside was much brighter, with televisions everywhere. The chicken wings were tasty even though they weren't buffalo, but did get oily quickly. The firecracker shrimp had good flavor without being painfully spicy. The Crabby Ray chips were fantastic - good flavor, good cheese, and who doesn't love crab? Our waitress was friendly and did check up on us, but didn't seem to rush people out. read more

Yeah, we come here like once every couple months but last Sat was prob the worst experience. Service was sooooo slow. From getting our drinks, to placing and order and then to receiving our food. It was painfully slow. Our server was super apologetic all throughout and we did feel badly for him and didn't "punish" him with a poor tip. But the biggest issue/complaint is that we have a kid (a young adult kid) with pretty severe food allergies. We specified it (sesame seeds). And as she was ready to bite into her salad thankfully she saw that the croutons were seeded. So the poor kid has to wait even longer for her food. It sucks enough to have food allergies but then to sit there and watch other people eat while she hungrily waited. Guys, so more than the timeliness, being careful with food allergies needs to be better despite how busy you are. Unfortunately we won't be going back here. read more

Very frustrated with this place. I have been coming to Dooneys (Delran) since they opened in 2014. At first the food, drinks, service and prices were great. Then all of the above went to s**t. So I stopped going for a couple years. So now I started going again and now I regret giving this place yet another chance. So all I can do is warn others to stay away and spend you're money somewhere else. The food is a joke for what is changed. $8 for a bowl of soup which is basically all broth. The Guinness stew is terrible! No taste and very little beef.. They actually cut the beef chunks in half, which is pathetic. The wings are actually good, except they are like $2 each. Service is also good, however I would stay away from mixed drinks and stick to beer and wine. However I unfortunately I can't spend any more money at this establishment. I leave Dooneys still hungry and feeling ripped-off. read more

What happened to Dooneys? We used to eat at Dooneys once or twice a month, but in the last few years, the quality of the food and the service have declined so significantly, we haven't been in a while. I wish we hadn't gone there tonight, because now I don't think I'll ever return. The Shepherd's Pie had exactly two pieces of meat and one carrot - the rest was celery and "gravy" which was really au jus. The crab cake sandwich was in crumbles, not a solid piece, so eating it as a sandwich was impossible. It was very fishy tasting as well, and unpleasant. Not only did we eat here in the past, we routinely recommended the restaurant to anyone who asked for a great lunch or dinner spot. How embarrassing. I did not complain to the restaurant staff, as it is run by teenagers, who literally laugh and shrug their shoulders. Perhaps the owners will pay attention one day but until then, we won't be going back. read more

The service is left to be desired some servers are amazing but, If you get Sara try not to be to annoyed by her asking you if your food is good before try it or the 100x of you needing things. Yes you may like that, you may not, but please don't get annoyed when she doesn't listen to directions when you ask for things for your order to be done a certain way & she brings it out wrong. Decent pub food. Had the pulled pork au jus with broccoli rabe and long hots. Not bad. Not Nick's Roast Beef caliber but not bad. Wife had a Reuben and not bad. Wanted extra dressing on the side which never came. Cheese fries are good. And we were pleasantly surprised by the Potato Leek Soup which was hearty and tasty. Service was adequate and ambiance typical of a sports bar. We are going to compare to Whistler's Inn down the road in Cinnaminson and see who has the edge. We gave Jug Handle Inn a shot and no, will not be going back. So four stars is a respectable stretch and will try something new next time. read more

A delightful Irish pub. Nestled in a shopping plaza, it stands out with its size from the rest of the shops in the plaza. Despite growing up in Cinnaminson, I had never come across this gem before, but it's clear that they've built a strong customer base as it looks as though the pub has expanded its space, with an additional area to the right of their entrance along with a lovely outdoor patio for patrons to enjoy on sunny days. During my visit, I sipped down two pints of Guinness while indulging in their mouthwatering Guinness BBQ Burger. That little delectable burger featured Guinness BBQ Sauce, Cheddar Cheese, Smoked Bacon, Onion Straws, and a side of perfectly cooked fries. Certainly one I would go for again but I'm also curious to see how good the chicken version is. Looks like they have a pretty large menu of food options to choose from just as well. The staff at Dooney's Pub was friendly. If you're looking for a casual outing with a nice, open ambiance and a large bar, and an impressive drink selection, it's definitely worth the trip. read more

its ashame you post a review with an issue and you get a call from management trying to "bully" you into changing the review. Maybe address and change the behavior. I love your food, love your bartenders, but maybe the problem is elsewhere. Instead of trying to change the review, maybe you should change the behavior. Look at you ratings. I went there for dinner with my daughter on St. Patrick's Day. We were seated without any silverware. It took forever to order our food after we got our drinks. The menus were sticky with old food or such. Once we got the first order of wings. We still had no silverware, napkins, or wet naps. About 15 minutes later the waitress shows up with plates, and napkins still no silverware while the wings are getting cold. Once our meals arrived I still had no silverware I guess I was supposed to eat my corned beef and cabbage with my fingers. By the time, I got my silverware my meal was getting cold. They had a live band which was a nice touch. However, you had to scream to get an order in. The waitress was lousy. She barely checked on us. Tho it is very obvious what kind of people run this place where they only employ attractive young women and white bus boys... atmosphere is nice all of the waitresses are always so nice and have positive energy. The food is nice but it's always cooked a different way and no one has taught the chefs to fully cook their potatoes, they provided me with the most undercooked loaded potato wedges I've literally ever experienced restaurant or home cooked.
