Fish Tacos. I should have gotten another order! - Three fish tacos topped with purple cabbage, diced tomatoes, and orange sauce are served on a white plate at a restaurant.

If you're lucky you may see the Burlington legend at the bar, Dean Gilbert! He was drafted by the Detroit Tigers in 1969 and Cincinnati was after him too. Dean struck out 20 batters in May, 1967 pitching for BTHS. He rubbed shoulders with Lolich, Kaline and McClain. He led BTHS to the state championship in 1968. Truly a legend!

Food is okay. Beer is cold staff is fun...really a local crowd, but no one is an asshole so that's always good. Just kinda out of the way. But cheap, decent spot, always busy. Worth a stop in for a beer.

Do try their food. Everything there is really good! I love the calamari and love love their chicken cheese steaks. Ohhhhhh and the French onion soup! Yes a must try!

I went here on a Saturday night with some locals who were celebrating a birthday party. The bar was packed and their were only two bartenders on duty. The bartenders could not keep up. They didn't even greet people or a "I'll be right with you" or even just a head nod with eye contact. I knew for fact, we would wait to be served. Surprisingly I got a seat at the bar. The group of females to my left said they were waiting 30 to be served. If that is true, that's ridiculous. The group of ladies to my right were also waiting to order drinks. The bar was very busy. I was waited on within two minutes of entering and sitting down. I received a not so friendly look from the customers to my left and right. I ordered my usual, crown and water. You can't screw that up. It was fine. The reason for my two star review is the lack of attention I saw to other customers who were waiting. My drink was served in a glass. If you served me Crown Royal in plastic, other then poolside, I will tell you about it. Other customers had their cocktails served in red solo cups. The majority of said cups had gapping holes in them and the drinks were leaking out all over the bar and floor. I saw the cups with holes in them going out to customers all over the bar. If I was the bartender, I would have just gotten a new sleeve. They also served craft beer in red solo cups. They had Cape May Brewing Co on tap. Their product is really good. A person in my group was drinking the coffee stout, out of a RED SOLO CUP! If I was that company I would flip that my product is being served in a red solo cup and not in a pint glass that said "Cape May Brewing Co." Also I did witness a fight between males, and there was zero security. You can't rely on a female bartender to shout "stop it" across the bar and to have two men stop throwing punches at each other. The place didn't seem clean to my standard behind the bar and in the common areas could have used hug too. I would also have preferred friendly bartenders. If you can't handle tapping beer and being friendly, find another profession. I will pass on Doc's in the future.

This is not your low life dive you might expect along the railroad tracks in Burlington - this is a highly respected neighborhood watering hole with cold beer, good food and great people. It's a very friendly place where you can strike up a conversation while watching the many flat screen TV's. It was packed for Monday night football but not overly rowdy and all had a good time. The crab cakes are great - broiled, not fried - with jumbo lump crab and little filler. Next time you think about fast food stop into Doc's and take a load off and relax. Say hi to Doc, that silver haired, silver tongued devil and have a 23 oz Guinness!

But the service that is amazing and all the smiling staff here make up for anything that I don't see on the menu. The place is really well put together and is a very handsome bar it's mostly very wooden and heavy duty. The ambience is something for everyone on the TV or you can just chitchat. They even have this little side room that is nice but beware and bring a coat or a sweater cause it does get chilly in there. They're always seems like a really great group of people there and our favorite waitress is KB/Kristen. She is truly amazing and very attentive, but not annoying. We love their chicken fajitas and steak fajitas, the Cheesesteaks are delish! But My Newest Favorite for the Moment..... is the "We Jammin Burger". It has bacon onion Jam on it and it is amazing! I didn't think that I would like it as Much as I do! But I Realllllllly Do! I'm not really a burger fan... like my husband Is, But THIS BURGER..... has been a Game changer for Me. Warning: Make room in your fridge... because You will definitely bring leftovers home. This meal can feed a family of 4 Easily!! Their Cajun quesadilla is delicious and it does have a nice little zing. Their traditional wings are amazing and their beef stew is delicious and very hearty. We have tried many of their specialties. The Hail Mary is a delicious Caesar salad on top of chicken cutlets and their Broccoli Chicken Cheesesteak is amazing. I recommend you get it pressed on the grill and that way it won't fall out as you bite each delicious bite. I would say 80 to 90% of the visits that we have had at this amazing establishment. We always bring home leftovers. So be aware that you were going to have lunch for tomorrow. You will get to the point where you will just think of something to eat that they have on their menu and your mouth will just start to drool. We definitely recommend going. I'm not a huge drinker so I really can't say much as for their drinks but everyone there seems very happy and the portions are huge. I definitely say try it, what's the worst that happens you have leftovers for the next day or two lol It is my husband and my favorite new place that's been around forever Hey, maybe we'll see you there

Pros: Our waitress, Alicia, was an absolute sweetheart and made several great food recommendations,…read moreincluding the hot honey wings, Jammin' burger, and chocolate cake--all of which were very good. The portion sizes were generous; both my burger and the Cheesesteak Deluxe were large enough that we brought leftovers home from both entrées. Cons: Unfortunately, the drinks were not good. I ordered a Downeast Cider on tap and it tasted like the line may not have been cleaned recently. My companion ordered a cosmopolitan that was essentially undrinkable--extremely strong and not well balanced. We later learned the bartender is new, so hopefully that improves with experience. The wings were also served cold, and the Jammin' burger came out without the bacon jam that's supposed to be a key part of the dish. The restaurant itself is also very tight quarters. If you prefer more personal space or feel more comfortable in places where it's easy to move around or exit quickly, this may not be the best spot for you. Overall: The staff was very attentive and clearly tried to make things right after several mistakes occurred. They comped our soda, appetizer, and dessert, which we appreciated. However, given the number of issues during one visit, I'm not sure we'd return.

Everything was chopped evenly and broiled to perfection. I did get a decent amount of clam. The description says bacon but I'm glad it wasn't big pieces of crispy bacon. It almost seemed like pancetta. I wish I took a picture. They are a little greasy so I'm not sure why they serve them with a side of butter. I think that's a waste. I ordered the Reuben for my entree and upgraded from chips to potato salad. This was an amazing choice. One of the best Reubens I've had in awhile. I was nervous at first seeing the thick bread but it all came together. It wasn't greasy at all. The corned beef was crispy which made it easier to bite. Who hates trying to bite through tough corned beef???? The amount of sauerkraut was perfect. One half of my sandwich had the perfect amount of dressing. The other half was dry. I usually ask for a side of dressing but didn't this time. I am so glad I upgraded to potato salad. It's only $1 extra and I highly recommend. This reminded me of my family recipe. This sandwich comes with chips and I'm not sure what that means. I'm not a huge potato chip person.

We had the back room since that's the only place for large parties. The bar was hopping as usual with sports on most of the TV's. Quite a few craft beers on draft. I don't recall anyone not being satisfied with their dinner or drinks. They even came out with a nice big chocolate birthday cake with chocolate morsels and whipped cream along with 10 forks. Even with 10 people, we still couldn't finish the slice of cake.

Drift is raising the bar and is an entire vibe on Mill St. A handful of tables by the bar and a separate dining room or outdoor seating - all unique in their own way and each offer a different feel in the restaurant. Our server was a delight. So excited to tell us all about the place and answer questions along the way. She kept our glasses full all the while tending bar and other tables. The vodka chicken sandwich was well done, tasty and crisp dredged in a thick vodka sauce and adorned with cheese. It did come with tomato but it was a little odd like it just didn't belong. I just added it to my generous side salad (an option instead of fries). This salad was packed full of fresh greens, cukes & tomatoes with a most delightful dressing. His French dip was full of flavor with tender med rare beef delicately sliced thin and high. The au jus that accompanied it was a nice compliment to the sandwich.
