The bar was clean as far as I could tell we were also one of their first customers of the day. My son's draft beer tasted off I don't think the line was cleared maybe the beer was sitting in it all night but it definitely was a little funky. We both ordered wings and got the sprouts. Wings came out first sprouts came out second which didn't matter to us some may have wanted it the other way around. The sprouts were awesome !! The wings were just ok. Average bar wings nothing about them stood out. I was told they were excellent and we had to come here to get them and I was disappointed. They definitely weren't bad they were just ok and a little over cooked. A few were pretty dry. Overall I'd stop back if I were in the area but I wouldn't make it a destination for wings.

If you're going to Curran's... You're having wings! It is a must. Top of my list of best wings around. Always plump. Always juicy. Always packed with flavor. The rest of the menu is bar food. Nothing that stands out, nothing we have ever had to send back. The Bensalem location is noisy, especially on game days/nights and the fans are HERE to CHEER, so if that's not your vibe - Curran's is not the place for you during those times. The staff is always helpful and attentive, and the place is always clean and comfortable. Plenty of bar seating and more than enough tables to accommodate all the diehard and Fairweather Philly sports fans. Currans remains on our go to list for a drink, a meetup with friends, a quick bite, but most importantly when that wing craving needs to be satisfied.

I didn't have the pleasure of visiting Dog & Bull before it was renovated, but I visited last night and can't wait to return. My friend and I made a reservation for 5:30 PM (just in case) as we read online that reservations were recommended, but I don't actually think one was needed. When you walk in, it's bright and inviting. The garage doors throughout the property provide a ton of natural light. I can only imagine how lovely it is when they're open in the summer. Additionally, the outside has a nice patio and an area with a fire pit. The restaurant's layout was designed wonderfully! Our server was Alex (Alexandria) and she was the epitome of exceptional service. She checked in on us multiple times and always had a smile on her face when she came over. We really appreciated having her. The baked feta and hummus appetizer was just as delicious as it looks in the photo. The thick pieces of garlic, roasted red peppers, olives, cucumbers and pita bread triangles paired so nicely with the feta. The hummus was warmed up and it looked like the kitchen staff may have torched the top of it. It was phenomenal. Boy do I have notes on the lentil burger - it was 10/10!! I'm not a big bean person and even though this burger had beans in it, it somehow tasted like an actual beef burger. Sounds crazy, I know, but trust and believe it was pure excellence. I added cheddar for an additional charge and upgraded my regular fries to garlic parm fries. Finally, the caramel apple bread pudding... oh my oh my! What a DELIGHT. The top was piled high with a big scoop of frosting. Yes, you read that right. Frosting! Not ice cream! You can taste the apple pieces in the bread pudding. My friend and I wanted to order it twice. It was THAT good. It was easy to make my way to Dog & Bull from Center City thanks to the Septa station located directly behind the restaurant. Street parking also wasn't too bad yesterday. I absolutely loved the experience I had here and will be stopping by again this summer! Thanks, Dog & Bull!

We haven't been here since the new owners took over and although the interior is the same - wow…read morewhat a difference in the food. We avoided this place in the past Becasue no matter how many times we gave it another try we left disappointed. Stopped by after voting and instead of once cocktail I got a FLIGHT - a WICKED inspired flight! Very very sweet but the presentation was worth it. Our Tuesday night burger specials (only 10 bucks) were cooked perfectly to order. Served with chips or upgrade to fries for up charge. Our waitress Christine was on the ball checking in on us and making sure we didn't need for anything. Looking forward to stopping back for some of their other special nights and trying their pizza.

Decent food for great value., I'd say a solid three for food, but given the portion, price, and…read moreservice, I give four. Loaded tater tots - tossed/coated with cheese and real bacon bits, instead of just a ladle of cheese on top. Cheesesteak eggrolls - Three large egg rolls cut into halves. Loaded with beef, but I don't think there was quite enough cheese. The spicy ketchup was good. Basil chicken (white wine sauce) with diced tomatoes and angel hair - not the most flavorful, but it could just be the nature of the dish. The chicken tasted freshly prepared. Sometimes it can taste nuked in some other restaurants. I used a spritz of lemon. I took leftovers home and put pecorino romano cheese. Cheese was the key missing ingredient for me. This was a very large portion for less than $19, so I think the meal was worth it. It also comes with soup and garlic bread/dinner rolls. The wedding soup was very very hearty and full of meatballs. I'm used to getting like three or four pieces. Not sure if there was an upcharge (I forgot to look), but even if there was it would have been worth it. Burger and fries - also huge portion and worth the price. It might not be the best, but for what they are charging I think it is very fair. These definitely taste like frozen fries, so do not expect too much. Service and staff were very friendly, despite what some reviews had mentioned.

The…read moreatmosphere was lively--definitely on the louder side, but it was a Saturday night of a holiday weekend, so that was expected. Our waitress was super friendly, and when we asked if she could put the Flyers game on, she took care of it right away. I decided to try the Smashburger Nachos since I'd seen them all over their social media and they looked amazing. The portion size is absolutely gigantic--seriously, plan to share with four or five people because it comes out on what's basically a pizza tray. Unfortunately, I wasn't all that impressed with the flavor. The burger meat tasted more like taco meat, which threw me off because I was expecting more of a Big Mac vibe. It also had a bit of spice to it, which I wasn't expecting (and I'm not big on spicy foods), so that didn't help the experience. To make up for it, I ordered the fried pickles, but those also missed the mark for me. They're served as spears instead of chips, so when you take a bite, the whole pickle slides right out of the breading. They also stay extremely hot no matter how long you let them cool. Just not my preferred style. On the bright side, my husband ordered what I believe was a Power Bowl with grilled chicken, cranberries, Brussels sprouts, goat cheese, and maple vinaigrette. It looked delicious--very much a keto-friendly dish--and he really enjoyed it. I'd honestly love to try recreating it at home. Overall, I didn't have the best luck with my dishes, but the service was great, and my husband's meal was excellent. I think Magerks does some things really well, and there's definitely room for improvement in others. Giving them a solid 4 out of 5. I'd come back and try something different next time!

We were seated in what would be outside seating in nicer weather. So there was a lot of plastic. It was drafty. The waitress was very friendly and efficient. Five stars for the waitress. We both ordered the hot roast beef sandwich and cokes. My companion also got a side of mac and cheese. The cokes tasted like they were shy of syrup...or maybe carbonation. Not sure, but something was off. The roast beef sandwiches were the worst I've ever tasted. The beef was dry and tasted old. There may have been cheese on them, but it was hard to tell. If so it was melted into the buns. The buns were the taste, texture and consistency of store bought hot dog buns. Not exactly appetizing. The mac and cheese we bland and tasteless, which is odd considering there were bits of jalapeño in it. Overall a very disappointing meal. But I suppose it would be a fun place to go to watch a game if you don't care what the food tastes like.
