The dinner menu is good; a few tasty appetizer choices (Wild Mushroom Crostini or Salmon with Potato Pancakes), burgers & chicken sandwiches, soups & salads BUT I would not be disappointed if they changed it up a bit. Nice selection of cocktails/ciders/beer. Desserts are delicious; from cheesecakes to tiramisu to ice cream. Our party has tried just about everything on the menu; only complaints? Buns should be toasted, fries should be hotter and not smashed & squeezed into a basket and chicken on sandwiches has at times been too well done. But the kitchen is happy to make it right. The service is great; a pleasant welcome by the hostess and our server Larissa is always attentive and friendly. Such a fun evening! Pub fare at an elevated level. "Sticky Nuggs" full of flavor and made from real chicken chunks. Short rib poutine with layers of flavor and texture and the chicken sandwich cooked just right. Still juicy with the right amount of crunch. Our server was friendly and checked on us just enough without being bothersome. I had a hard time finding something to drink. The drinks are pretty expensive -- average price is between $12 and $15, but was a nice little place to sit down and take a break from the gambling. I just wish it had a better drink menu or greater alcohol selections for mixed drinks. It would be nice if they offered a nice martini list.

I could tell by the parking lot. The parking lot was rather small so it can get crowded quickly. I suggest making a reservation and getting their a little early to account for parking. As soon as we walked into the restaurant we were greeted by the hostess who was very friendly. She kindly took us to our table. Soon after our waitress came and explained the menu and took our drink and food orders. She was very kind, and attentive. For drinks we ordered prosecco, and a tequila sunrise. Both of the drinks were delicious and refreshing. The tequila sunrise was very balanced and had a good flavor. For food I ordered the seafood gumbo. The gumbo was okay. Could have used more flavor and seafood. My friends ordered the salad and lobster bisque which they enjoyed. The ambiance was nice as all Blue Sundays are decorated eloquently and classy. I didn't have the pleasure of visiting Dog & Bull before it was renovated, but I visited last night and can't wait to return. My friend and I made a reservation for 5:30 PM (just in case) as we read online that reservations were recommended, but I don't actually think one was needed. When you walk in, it's bright and inviting. The garage doors throughout the property provide a ton of natural light. I can only imagine how lovely it is when they're open in the summer. Our server was Alex (Alexandria) and she was the epitome of exceptional service. She checked in on us multiple times and always had a smile on her face when she came over. The thick pieces of garlic, roasted red peppers, olives, cucumbers and pita bread triangles paired so nicely with the feta. I added cheddar for an additional charge and upgraded my regular fries to garlic parm fries. Finally, the caramel apple bread pudding... oh my oh my! What a DELIGHT. The top was piled high with a big scoop of frosting. Yes, you read that right. Frosting! Not ice cream! You can taste the apple pieces in the bread pudding. My friend and I wanted to order it twice. It was THAT good. It was easy to make my way to Dog & Bull from Center City thanks to the Septa station located directly behind the restaurant. Street parking also wasn't too bad yesterday.
