I was disappointed to see they only had two of their flagship beers for takeout (Hey Yo NE IPA and Independence Lager) and no crowler canning machine for their tap list. They will fill your personal growler and the prices for their 16oz four packs were fair. $10 for their lager and $14 for their Hey Yo NE IPA. There are a lot of other breweries charging much higher prices and/or you're paying a flat amount for beers no matter what the style (which is ridiculous) .... I can understand a higher retail if it's a limited release or higher end brew. I made it a point to return and sit down inside the brewery to take it all in. My life plans landed me there on a Sunday, unfortunately Sal's next door is closed on Sundays, so a food truck parked outside or Durham Deli across the street had to do. The layout on the inside is inviting: picnic tables or bar seating are your options. They have board games to test your mind or keep your kids occupied and there were several TV's playing NFL games. The bartender was nice and a good conversation. He was very into their beers and gave great insight into: when they were tapped, what was coming down the pike and info/ingredients of current tapped brews. I didn't see much in the way of a menu with descriptions of each beer, but then again I didn't ask. I just looked at the tap list on their menu boards which noted the tap number (16 total), name of the beer, style, abv, price and the ounces of the pour. In my opinion the variety of beer styles they had would give any beer drinker several options to try. I sampled a few different styles: Belgian IPA 7%, Winter Warmer 9.4% and their American Pilsner 5.8%. I found them to be average to slightly above average and served in proper glassware. You can get flights, a single 5oz pour or in a glass that ranged from 10-20 ounce pours. The prices were between $5-$7 for a 10-20 oz. pour. The to-go cooler had four of their brews this time and also a second cooler had local Jericho Mountain Beef. You can buy several different styles of vacuum sealed meats that looked delicious. They also serve wine, seltzers and non-alcoholic beverages. The bathrooms were pretty big and clean. They welcomed a pretty big family with several kids so I'd say your safe to bring the fam!! I'm a fan of Broad Street Brewing, I think their prices are more than fair, the staff was nice, their beers are average to above average and true to the style (from what I've tried) and the building itself was clean, open and inviting. I enjoyed my experience there and will return (preferably during Sal's business hours!). Thanks guys!

The vibe was a very chilled one where each musician were greeted with applause and encouragement by other musicians and patrons in general. I love the fact that it's a place where you can bring in your own food, or order from a food truck (changes daily). I look forward to returning for future events and the drinks.

There's plenty of seating between 2 rooms and a decently sized bar. An ample number of televisions give it a cozy neighborhood sports pub vibe. While business seemed slow early on a weekend afternoon when I arrived, it picked up and was busy by the time we were done with our meal. The menu is fairly extensive with plenty of options for food. We ordered the crispy onion burger, salmon, and a cheese pizza. The crispy onion burger (3.5/5) was a decent and above average burger on a unique onion bun, but was surprisingly muted with regards to onion flavor despite some onion straws on top. I'm glad I asked for the garlic aoli on the side as it was strong and better used in moderation. The accompanying fries (3.5/5) were crispy and delicious. The grilled salmon (4.25/5) was good, with excellent crispy fried rice that was seasoned just right. The cheese pizza (3.25/5) was decent for a pub/bar, but the flavors of sauce, cheese, & crust just didn't measure up to that of area pizzerias, but will certainly please those in the mood for pizza. We saw a square pizza being served at another table which looked absolutely delicious. A party member really enjoyed the Playwicki pilsner they had on tap, although a bit pricey at $8. Service from Tammy was kind and friendly throughout the meal, as she was handing a bulk of the bartending and waitressing duties for most of our meal. Overall, this was a decent meal, and would recommend Langhorne Brewery & Martini Bar to those looking for a laid back meal and local beer in a sports bar environment.

The creamy baked potato soup, topped with cheddar and crispy bacon, was excellent and comforting. The house salad included fresh romaine, grape tomatoes, red onions, cucumbers, and carrots, with plenty of dressing options to choose from. We also tried the roasted Brussels sprouts with apple butter, which were absolutely delicious. Shannon, our server, was attentive and very pleasant throughout our visit. The brewery itself is beautifully updated and offers outdoor seating, which is a great option in nice weather.

Out front, every table was packed shoulder to shoulder with what appeared to be a local running group in post-run celebration. Laughter, sweat, and IPAs filled the air. Inside, however, it was the crowd was sparse, save for two small groups competing in Harry Potter trivia, an event we hadn't realized was happening. After the first round, one of those tables gave up and left. That should have made the place quieter, but the trivia host's amplifier made sure it did not. Even from the far corner, it was nearly impossible to hold a conversation without shouting. It was as though someone had mistaken the volume knob for a test of strength. The bartender, to his great credit, was friendly and quick, the kind of person who makes you feel like maybe the night will work out after all. The beers themselves were fine. I tried the Pineapple Express milkshake IPA and the porter. Both were serviceable, neither was memorable. The brewery allows outside food, which is a small mercy. Being on Farnsworth, there are plenty of good places to bring something in from. They also sell simple snacks like chips and jerky, a practical touch that suits the space. Still, the whole experience left me puzzled. The place seems to want to be a neighborhood hub, but it can't decide whether to be a quiet refuge or a loud event hall. Empty yet loud, welcoming yet difficult to linger in. I wouldn't drive out of my way to return, but if a friend suggested meeting there, I'd go. I'd just hope the trivia host had the night off.
