I hadn't been ti this location before, only their original spot years ago. This location is so nice!! I turned into the parking lot and was blown away! It's really nice! The bartender was friendly and helped with any questions we had! Aside from the great beer and cocktails, we ordered food that was as delivered to the bar! The next day I inquired about having my August book club meeting there and now that's where it's scheduled! Super easy and quick to deal with for that via email!

I'm not much of a beer drinker so I was uncertain if this would work for me, but it turns out they have cocktails and wine, too! I was super excited, and ordered a Fall Old Fashioned and my mom got a Cab. We decided to also get a snack from Cafe Dilla, and to be honest, I wasn't expecting much from the walk-up, brightly lit kitchen. However, the nachos with chicken were so good--they used real melted cheese, high quality chips, and flavorful chicken. It was one of the quieter nights at the brewery since there was no band playing so we got to relax and enjoy the festive atmosphere. The waitstaff was friendly and accommodating. Would most definitely return!

Great off the quick path brewery with some tasty and delicious drafts while enjoying some death metal on other days besides Sundays. I want to let everyone know that their last pour is 30 mins prior to close and with me one of the last patrons. I'm interested to see who gets denied and how they are handled. Love the creative names such as the ALEiens HBC Belgian single, a light easy tasting draft that is made for summer drinking along with the Doom lager, a darker lager that is a "shroud of roasted darkness" This brewery has indoor and outdoor seating so I know it'll be busier during the summer months.

Bar in venue space with cool lighting!

Went to Broken Goblet for a concert (Pig Destroyer, Jarhead Fertilizer and No/Mas) and it was a great experience. I won't be speaking about the brewery, but my overall experience with them as a venue ! First off the building appears to be relatively new and there was ample parking. When you walked in, at least for the event, it was a bit confusing on where to go but to the left they have the stage and to the right is more like a lounge/bar. The lounge area had a lot of nice seating and its own bathrooms. They had a menu for beer, alcohol and food. The stage room had its own bar which was really nice, as well as an upstairs seating area. This side also had a menu for food, drink, beer but I'm not sure if it was the same as the lounge's menu or not. Everything served on the venue side is in plastic / can. The food smelled great and although I'm not a beer drinker I appreciates the ample liquor and non alcohol options! I opted for the spiked berry slushee which was so good . The staff was super nice at the bar and otherwise. We got wristbands after they scanned our tickets and checked ids. Overall fairly organized. It's not a large space but it's not small by any means. I appreciate the tables and bar style seating. The acoustics were decent. If I see any more shows here I'll definitely check it out!

Very cool brewer with nice beers a stage on one side Very cool cocktail bar and food on the other Was there for a show Friday 9/6 in the brewery Nice intimate space with a historic stage piece ... think " Glass Spider Tour " After the show had a cocktail in the lounge, which had a solo artist performing. Cocktail was awesome It was late and didn't see any food, just the menu I live a hour and half away. We discussed that if we live closer this could be a new hangout If your in the area, definitely worth the visit Definitely will return

Came in for some flights, wanted to come to this brewery for a while. While the main taproom was closed for a private event, the Mixing Room was open next door. Inside was sparsely decorated and quiet - only two other parties were there on a Saturday afternoon. Beer was decent, although we got some uneven pours. I don't love their flight setup, and it takes up a lot of space (and empty space in the glass), despite how small each 4oz pour is. They had a few IPAs and a decent Saison that had a good plum taste. Sadly the Pilsner was kicked, which my partner and I both wanted to try. Also wanted the Pastry stout, but decided against it as we had other stops we wanted to make. Service was fine and the space is nice, just wish they had more to offer. They did have some to-go beer and some bagged snacks behind the counter, but no food menu on that side of things.

    The menu.

Came here on a Sunday afternoon with my girlfriend. Huge, cavernous space. Atmosphere kind of dead but I imagine it gets really fun when a live concert is going on. We sat at the bar and each had a flight. I tried the 8th anniversary milkshake IPA, the scotch ale, the nitro oatmeal stout, and the IPA named after Jason Kelce. All were phenomenal, and I bought a six pack of the Kelce IPA to bring home. Real punk rock aesthetic here, would definitely come back for a live show, seems like a great venue. Live music and excellent local beer, what more could you ask for?!

Four stars instead of five mainly because I find everything a bit overpriced, especially the food part. Chicken flatbread is $14, sandwich is $13/$14, loaded nacho is $13. But I like the overall vibe of this place. It's very laidback and chill. Then inside deco is nice. The outside is pretty rough--seems like there's some half completed construction. I thought there's live music, but tonight (7:37 pm Saturday night) there's no band here.

    Awesome stage!

Really cool spot to see a show! It's a real pro stage with great music. Also, the chicken wings get a 10 out of 10. The music room starts at 8pm and ends at 11pm, making it a fun night that doesn't go until 1AM. When the music is done, the crowd can move into the brewery area.

Going into a place like this during a pandemic it really a disadvantage to this place. They have plenty of outdoor seating. A complete outdoor stage for concerts. Inside plenty of seating and another indoor stage for concerts or Karaoke. The space is just huge. Plenty of space for social distancing. Just an overall fun place. The staff was super friendly and came to the table many times to check on us and make sure we were doing okay even as the place filled up around us. They have a huge variety of craft beers. The taste definitely leads one in different directions. Definitely a fan of the Pilsner and the Lager. A delicious Stout. The sampler is the way to go for your first trip. Gives you a good sense of all the flavors and lets you know what to come back for. I think the pandemic has had an effect on their food. The menu was extremely limited and nothing that we ordered was impressive at all. Edible would be the best descriptive word. Nothing to say this is worth eating here. A step down from most brewery bar food for sure. I wouldn't put its kitchen up against most. The beer is enough to draw you in and spend some time enjoying the atmosphere and the entertainment.

    Yay

Awesome beer, awesome atmosphere. The brewery part was closed at the time we were there though. And apparently they also do live music, although again, our timing was off. I suppose they do music later on, we were here at 3-4 is pm. The space itself is huge, and two floors. And looks like the second floor has tables and chairs too, although I did not see anyone there at that particular time. Perhaps the second floor is also currently closed. The food is standard bar/brewery food, and honestly, not impressive. I had a kid size hot dog, which was extremely salty, and hubby had a chicken quesadilla, which again, is nothing to write home about. We've had actually excellent foods in bars/breweries elsewhere in Pennsylvania. So it's not a given that brewery/bar food has to automatically be subpar. So I'd say, come for the beer and the excellent hangout atmosphere, not the food.

What a fun place! I love these craft breweries and Broken Goblet does not disappoint. Super friendly staff serving up a variety of their own draft beers and good food. A lot of indoor and outdoor seating. Live music by a very talented band to entertain the outdoor crowd. Great place to unwind with friends. Five star experience from start to finish.

We finally got to check out the new broken goblet location and we were amazed by the awesome it looks inside and out. There is a huge stage in the front where they have bands every weekend and also a 2nd level to sit. They also have a ton of outdoor seating with umbrellas and looks like they will eventually have a distillery and vinces pizza next door. Can't wait to go back again!

Ask the Community - Broken Goblet Brewing

Is there food on Thursday nite?

Hey there - until the kitchen formally opens (or the pizza place next door, for that matter) we unfortunately only have food Friday, Saturday and some sundays. We expect the kitchen to open in feb/March time frame.

Would this be a good place to host girls night?

Yes, but be sure to contact the event planner weeks in advance to ensure they make it a great experience. You can contact them via their website brokengoblet.com

What sets this brewery apart is its strategic location next to an ax-throwing place, adding a dash of excitement to your visit, plus, the presence of a food truck from Uzbekistan Restaurant AND a Philly Pretzel Factory that ensures you won't go hungry while sipping on your favorite brews. Speaking of the beer, Barrel Splitters Brewing does not disappoint. With an impressive selection of approximately 15 beers on regular rotation, there's something to please every palate. They even have a few canned for those who want to take their experience home. During my visit, I opted for the Hazy Hydrilla, a solid choice and one I'll certainly try again. Whether you choose to sit outside at one of their inviting tables, bask in the pleasant weather, or find a comfortable spot indoors, you'll have ample seating options. To add to the fun, they provide dart boards, foosball, cornhole boards, and a selection of board games for guests. If you're feeling competitive, be sure to check out their cornhole tournaments held on Thursday evenings. It's certainly a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home & I'm eagerly looking forward to returning and sampling their entire lineup of brews!

I didn't have the pleasure of visiting Dog & Bull before it was renovated, but I visited last night and can't wait to return. My friend and I made a reservation for 5:30 PM (just in case) as we read online that reservations were recommended, but I don't actually think one was needed. When you walk in, it's bright and inviting. The garage doors throughout the property provide a ton of natural light. I can only imagine how lovely it is when they're open in the summer. Additionally, the outside has a nice patio and an area with a fire pit. The restaurant's layout was designed wonderfully! Our server was Alex (Alexandria) and she was the epitome of exceptional service. She checked in on us multiple times and always had a smile on her face when she came over. We really appreciated having her. The baked feta and hummus appetizer was just as delicious as it looks in the photo. The thick pieces of garlic, roasted red peppers, olives, cucumbers and pita bread triangles paired so nicely with the feta. The hummus was warmed up and it looked like the kitchen staff may have torched the top of it. It was phenomenal. Boy do I have notes on the lentil burger - it was 10/10!! I'm not a big bean person and even though this burger had beans in it, it somehow tasted like an actual beef burger. Sounds crazy, I know, but trust and believe it was pure excellence. I added cheddar for an additional charge and upgraded my regular fries to garlic parm fries. Finally, the caramel apple bread pudding... oh my oh my! What a DELIGHT. The top was piled high with a big scoop of frosting. Yes, you read that right. Frosting! Not ice cream! You can taste the apple pieces in the bread pudding. My friend and I wanted to order it twice. It was THAT good. It was easy to make my way to Dog & Bull from Center City thanks to the Septa station located directly behind the restaurant. Street parking also wasn't too bad yesterday. I absolutely loved the experience I had here and will be stopping by again this summer! Thanks, Dog & Bull!

I was able to park on the street about two blocks away and amble over to Naked Brewing Bristol Taproom. Short walk. Beautiful day. The brewery is mid-block on the west side of the street, looking its age as a late 19th Century enterprise. Bar in back. Tables up front and to the side, with wall shelves and stools for the sometimes SRO crowd. Live music in the basement from local bands. I sat at the bar, served by several lovelies who were in total control and set the vibe. I went with a 7 oz Mango Starfighter was a slightly sour/sweet beer with turmeric coloration. Liked it. But, what drew me to Naked was their collaboration with Cheese Dawgs who ran the kitchen with a primary menu of creative hot dogs at reasonable prices. Burgers, salads and sandwiches were likewise available. I chose their Philly Dog (mustard, pepper hash, onions) and New England (Boston baked beans). Both were tasty, fun and drip worthy. The frankfurters weren't all beef, but they were good enough. The rolls held their contents, but for the over abundance of ingredients spilling over the top. I asked for a spoon to handle that, and a server promptly obliged with a smile. But for the absence of tater tots and fries, I would have preferred an Italian Hot Dog, but it was a very busy day, and I wouldn't hold that against them for running out of some supplies. I was disappointed to see they only had two of their flagship beers for takeout (Hey Yo NE IPA and Independence Lager) and no crowler canning machine for their tap list. They will fill your personal growler and the prices for their 16oz four packs were fair. $10 for their lager and $14 for their Hey Yo NE IPA. There are a lot of other breweries charging much higher prices and/or you're paying a flat amount for beers no matter what the style (which is ridiculous) .... I can understand a higher retail if it's a limited release or higher end brew. I made it a point to return and sit down inside the brewery to take it all in. My life plans landed me there on a Sunday, unfortunately Sal's next door is closed on Sundays, so a food truck parked outside or Durham Deli across the street had to do. The layout on the inside is inviting: picnic tables or bar seating are your options. They have board games to test your mind or keep your kids occupied and there were several TV's playing NFL games. The bartender was nice and a good conversation. He was very into their beers and gave great insight into: when they were tapped, what was coming down the pike and info/ingredients of current tapped brews. I didn't see much in the way of a menu with descriptions of each beer, but then again I didn't ask. I just looked at the tap list on their menu boards which noted the tap number (16 total), name of the beer, style, abv, price and the ounces of the pour. In my opinion the variety of beer styles they had would give any beer drinker several options to try. I sampled a few different styles: Belgian IPA 7%, Winter Warmer 9.4% and their American Pilsner 5.8%. I found them to be average to slightly above average and served in proper glassware. You can get flights, a single 5oz pour or in a glass that ranged from 10-20 ounce pours. The prices were between $5-$7 for a 10-20 oz. pour. The to-go cooler had four of their brews this time and also a second cooler had local Jericho Mountain Beef. You can buy several different styles of vacuum sealed meats that looked delicious. They also serve wine, seltzers and non-alcoholic beverages. The bathrooms were pretty big and clean. They welcomed a pretty big family with several kids so I'd say your safe to bring the fam!! I'm a fan of Broad Street Brewing, I think their prices are more than fair, the staff was nice, their beers are average to above average and true to the style (from what I've tried) and the building itself was clean, open and inviting. I enjoyed my experience there and will return (preferably during Sal's business hours!). Thanks guys!
