Visiting the Broken Goblet on Saturday night for Philadoptables annual Live potions social night! It's an event that raises a lot of money to help animals and animal rescuers in the Philadelphia area. This was my first time at Broken Goblet and I was impressed. The space is large. They have a full stage set up and a really nice lounge area with sofas that are so comfortable. There is also Dillias Cafe inside where you can get what looked to be great food at reasonable prices, Menu will be in my photos. The space has a very industrial feel with some very cool lighting accents including a very Turkish inspired chandelier. Bathrooms were clean. Bar staff were super nice and even though it was crowded I never needed to wait for my drink. In the lounge there were also huge TVs which would make this a great spot to catch a game with friends. I hadn't been ti this location before, only their original spot years ago. This location is so nice!! I turned into the parking lot and was blown away! It's really nice! The bartender was friendly and helped with any questions we had! Aside from the great beer and cocktails, we ordered food that was as delivered to the bar! I'm not much of a beer drinker so I was uncertain if this would work for me, but it turns out they have cocktails and wine, too! I was super excited, and ordered a Fall Old Fashioned and my mom got a Cab. We decided to also get a snack from Cafe Dilla, and to be honest, I wasn't expecting much from the walk-up, brightly lit kitchen. However, the nachos with chicken were so good--they used real melted cheese, high quality chips, and flavorful chicken. It was one of the quieter nights at the brewery since there was no band playing so we got to relax and enjoy the festive atmosphere. The waitstaff was friendly and accommodating. I have primarily visited Broken Goblet Brewing for their live music events. I don't drink alcohol, so i can't comment on the beer, but I will say that when i do pick up a soft drink the bartenders are exceptionally friendly. I also really appreciate the water tap, so i can refill as necessary. As for the live music portion, the sound is really too good for the room. I'm amazed at how good the sound system. They book amazing bands, and everyone seems to be treated very well. read more

Great off the quick path brewery with some tasty and delicious drafts while enjoying some death metal on other days besides Sundays. I want to let everyone know that their last pour is 30 mins prior to close and with me one of the last patrons. I'm interested to see who gets denied and how they are handled. Love the creative names such as the ALEiens HBC Belgian single, a light easy tasting draft that is made for summer drinking along with the Doom lager, a darker lager that is a "shroud of roasted darkness" This brewery has indoor and outdoor seating so I know it'll be busier during the summer months. read more

Went to Broken Goblet for a concert (Pig Destroyer, Jarhead Fertilizer and No/Mas) and it was a great experience. I won't be speaking about the brewery, but my overall experience with them as a venue ! First off the building appears to be relatively new and there was ample parking. When you walked in, at least for the event, it was a bit confusing on where to go but to the left they have the stage and to the right is more like a lounge/bar. The lounge area had a lot of nice seating and its own bathrooms. They had a menu for beer, alcohol and food. The stage room had its own bar which was really nice, as well as an upstairs seating area. This side also had a menu for food, drink, beer but I'm not sure if it was the same as the lounge's menu or not. Everything served on the venue side is in plastic / can. The food smelled great and although I'm not a beer drinker I appreciates the ample liquor and non alcohol options! I opted for the spiked berry slushee which was so good . The staff was super nice at the bar and otherwise. We got wristbands after they scanned our tickets and checked ids. Overall fairly organized. It's not a large space but it's not small by any means. I appreciate the tables and bar style seating. The acoustics were decent. If I see any more shows here I'll definitely check it out! read more

Came in for some flights, wanted to come to this brewery for a while. While the main taproom was closed for a private event, the Mixing Room was open next door. Inside was sparsely decorated and quiet - only two other parties were there on a Saturday afternoon. Beer was decent, although we got some uneven pours. I don't love their flight setup, and it takes up a lot of space (and empty space in the glass), despite how small each 4oz pour is. They had a few IPAs and a decent Saison that had a good plum taste. Sadly the Pilsner was kicked, which my partner and I both wanted to try. Also wanted the Pastry stout, but decided against it as we had other stops we wanted to make. Service was fine and the space is nice, just wish they had more to offer. They did have some to-go beer and some bagged snacks behind the counter, but no food menu on that side of things. read more

Was invited here last night by my brother who is another Yelp Elite. Was some kind of 80's Prom party and there were so many people dressed up in 80's type clothing. they also had a banc playing 80's music which was cool. They had so many different types of beer on tap to choose from and also had flights which I really like. The decor was nice, bathrooms were very clean and it overall was a great night. the music was good, danced a little had great conversation w/friends and enjoyed some good brews. They have an Emo night coming up in August- and I plan on attending that also.. Really great spot- great pricing too. read more

Came here on a Sunday afternoon with my girlfriend. Huge, cavernous space. Atmosphere kind of dead but I imagine it gets really fun when a live concert is going on. We sat at the bar and each had a flight. I tried the 8th anniversary milkshake IPA, the scotch ale, the nitro oatmeal stout, and the IPA named after Jason Kelce. All were phenomenal, and I bought a six pack of the Kelce IPA to bring home. Real punk rock aesthetic here, would definitely come back for a live show, seems like a great venue. We had a private event here which included the upstairs space along with beer and wine. The bartender and staff were wonderful and we had a great time! We had about 30 people and the space was a bit tight. I wouldn't book it if the event calls for any full group activities (like games) since it can be hard to hear (open space/ceilings). It's perfect for happy hour or casual/social events like birthdays. Also keep in mind there's a good amount of stairs and no elevator. The tables are high tops along with 2 booth areas. Everyone was happy with the drinks and I requested a mocktail which was delicious. Downstairs is spacious and it seems like a cool spot for shows. Really cool spot to see a show! It's a real pro stage with great music. Also, the chicken wings get a 10 out of 10. The music room starts at 8pm and ends at 11pm, making it a fun night that doesn't go until 1AM. When the music is done, the crowd can move into the brewery area. read more

But I like the overall vibe of this place. It's very laidback and chill. Then inside deco is nice. The outside is pretty rough--seems like there's some half completed construction. Came to see a show- Foo Fighters cover band- damn, if this wasn't the most fun I've had for $10 in a long time! But prior to the show, we hung out in the new space next to the music room. It's large, restrooms are immaculate, too. They have a small menu from Cafe Dilla but the hot dog and quesadilla were tasty. Small cocktail list and hubs liked every beer he tried. Going into a place like this during a pandemic it really a disadvantage to this place. They have plenty of outdoor seating. A complete outdoor stage for concerts. Inside plenty of seating and another indoor stage for concerts or Karaoke. The space is just huge. Plenty of space for social distancing. Just an overall fun place. The staff was super friendly and came to the table many times to check on us and make sure we were doing okay even as the place filled up around us. They have a huge variety of craft beers. The taste definitely leads one in different directions. Definitely a fan of the Pilsner and the Lager. A delicious Stout. The sampler is the way to go for your first trip. Gives you a good sense of all the flavors and lets you know what to come back for. I think the pandemic has had an effect on their food. The menu was extremely limited and nothing that we ordered was impressive at all. Edible would be the best descriptive word. Nothing to say this is worth eating here. A step down from most brewery bar food for sure. I wouldn't put its kitchen up against most. The beer is enough to draw you in and spend some time enjoying the atmosphere and the entertainment. read more

Awesome beer, awesome atmosphere. The brewery part was closed at the time we were there though. And apparently they also do live music, although again, our timing was off. I suppose they do music later on, we were here at 3-4 is pm. The space itself is huge, and two floors. And looks like the second floor has tables and chairs too, although I did not see anyone there at that particular time. Perhaps the second floor is also currently closed. The food is standard bar/brewery food, and honestly, not impressive. I had a kid size hot dog, which was extremely salty, and hubby had a chicken quesadilla, which again, is nothing to write home about. We've had actually excellent foods in bars/breweries elsewhere in Pennsylvania. So it's not a given that brewery/bar food has to automatically be subpar. So I'd say, come for the beer and the excellent hangout atmosphere, not the food. read more

First Time here & was amazed @ the set up both inside and out. I Had the Barbecue chicken on flatbread. My son had the flatbread pizza they They tasted great but be sure to take extra napkins. Plastic ware was available but easier to pick up & eat. They have so many types of beer it should be easy to find one of your liking. Bartender was very informative on beers there. I asked for one that was close to Blue Moon & was very Impressed. My son wanted one like Guinness & was also pleased . Was a pleasant place to relax & eat . Nonetheless, my girlfriend is so we wanted to check out some local breweries. to our bartender who was a absolute pleasure, he was able to ask any question I threw at him and did it with grace. Plus, he allowed me to sample anything I asked him so we could find what I would like. This is a fairly new brewery with only being 4 years old but they have a pretty decent selection along with having wine and cocktails also available. Plus, July 14th they will be having a event for the relocating of their brewery to a bigger space. Most of their brews change throughout the year but they have very reasonable prices with half pours, full pours and growlers. Try the 2018 Bubba's Teabag it's definitely something interesting! For food they have a food truck which stays outside, we didn't get to try it but we will next time. And ask about joining "the irregulars" as they have special beers and goblets just for their members! read more

The newly renovated Broken Goblet definitely gives off more of a late-night venue or even, dare I say sort of club? vibe than a brewery vibe. This Friday night had live music on an actual stage, some neon lights particularly in the bar area, dim lighting, no flights, and is open until midnight on weekends?! They did have a great variety of beer, and everything that we got to try was refreshing and tasty. Service was consistently fast and friendly, even with a large bar area to cover. No one was dancing to the 90s era cover band, and the vibe was pretty casual and comfortable. There is an upstairs as well, which I did not see. Bathrooms were spacious and clean tonight too, which was a plus. Overall, pretty good experience but not really what we were expecting. Parking is also a little bit limited, most likely this is just on the weekends though. I'll have to check them out again to try more of their brews. read more

Nice set up, nice vibe, chill folks, good beer. What more could you want? When I saw Broken Goblet post on facebook about a Fruity Pebbles Saison, I got here as soon as I could. Unfortunately, I was too late. Apparently that was a one day thing. Since I had already made myself comfortable at the bar, I decided to sample some of the other draft choices. I logged Buried Treasure, Pineapple Smash, and Fools and Kings - all smooth and delicious. Prices are extremely reasonable, $3 half-pours, $6 pints, $9-12 for a growler. They seem to have an ever changing menu, which tells me they're passionate about growth. Changing flavors and testing new ideas is definitely a way to keep customers coming back. I'd highly recommend following them on Facebook to stay up to date with all the new/ limited brews and goings-ons. It seems like there's always something happening here. My biggest complaint is the location, which I was informed is changing soon (TBD as far as I know). The current locale is perfect if you want to be a loud, rowdy bar, but it's unassumingly nestled in a business park. It's kind of in the middle of no where in Bristol. I definitely feel like a revamped location would do wonders for the business because their beers are spot on. read more

Our last stop on our Friday night pub crawl. It was about 945p. Easy to miss the place as it is in a commercial warehouse area. Plenty of parking right out front. The bar is not large and the seating area is small with a few high tops and general seating, with a stage for the band. The bartenders were friendly. There is no table service and they do not serve food. We saw a few pizza's delivered. We ordered a couple of oatmeal stouts and a couple of mixed drinks. The stout was good. Our designated driver switched to water. A bit disappointing there were no lagers available. The Live music was a two piece combo Acoustic Keys. They were very good. A mandolin was brought out and played beautifully. A very unique sound. They had a good repertoire of classic rock and a few newer items. We enjoyed them. A few weeks ago I posted a list of places to visit and things to do before leaving the country, and one of my friends sent a message inviting me to Broken Goblet. He had purchased a Groupon and it was expiring, so it was perfect timing all around. BG is an hour from my current home base, but everything is far from where I am currently, so it wasn't a deal breaker. Plus I'd been curious about this spot for a long time. When I drove up, I saw it was on the edge of a business complex in a random, unassuming location. AKA: A typical brewery setup. I walked inside and it was surprisingly dark and inviting. They had some great music playing through the small space. There's a bunch of seating when you first walk in. The bar is back to the right with single stall bathrooms right across the way. The brewery operations are in the back. I arrived first, so I mentioned my friend was on his way with a Groupon and had a seat at the bar to wait. They offer a 5-beer sampler flight for $8, and if I had been on my own, I would have ordered that. Instead, my friend's Groupon was exchanged for four carafes of beer. Bartender's choice. You could later cash in a token for a pint of your choice. I can't complain that much since it wasn't my voucher, but there was way too much beer for me to pleasantly consume....and some of them were styles I flat out didn't like. Bartender's choice just seems like a daring move for a brewery. People often have polarizing beer preferences. I'd take a sour over an IPA any day, but I know that's not always the norm. As such, I only took a small pour of the assigned IPA carafe and my friend had the rest. Our other beers were the cream ale, the black rye, and the tea bag. I also wasn't a fan of the rye. It's just not my thing in general and felt too heavy for the season. I did, however, really enjoy the tea (plum, apple, cinnamon notes) and the cream ale. I didn't want to drink a ton, so I didn't cash in the token. I would have loved to try their saison since I trekked so far to check out the brewery, but it was a high ABV and there was no way I could deal with that. So, basically: - Yes, I'd recommend the brewery itself. They appear to have a great operation and they're even down the road from Neshaminy Creek Brewing so you could brewery hop. - No, I'd say to pass on the Groupon offer unless your end goal is to drink a bunch. It's just better to try small samples based on personal preferences at breweries, IMO. I feel like most people would agree with me. read more

This was my first time at this brewery. My girlfriend and I came on game night so it wasn't any live music or anything playing. The company has 4 years of experience as far as opening their brewery. They have a great selection of beers that often change year round. You can check some of them out in my photos. Our bartender Dan was very nice and knowledgeable. I recommend you try the 2018 Bubbas Teabag. It is a fruit beer but in my opinion it is not very fruity. The infused tea taste is amazing and it still feels like you are drinking a beer and not a fruity tea. In short, a great experience. The beers are plentiful, flavorful and varied. The staff are fun and energetic despite the obvious. The beer slushies are too easy to put down. All in all, a great place with a great atmosphere. Be aware, because of PA and the COVID laws you will have a hot dog and bag of chips added onto your bill. It a negative, just a heads up. Hot dogs and beer go together like lamb and tuna fish. (Bonus pints of you get the reference) But show this place some love and it'll show you some right back. read more

What a neat place! Upon arriving, I was a little confused - the brewery is smack dab in the middle of an office complex, and is very clearly an office that was emptied and converted into a brewery/restaurant. To me, that's what makes it awesome since I've never seen anything like that before. I loved the $8 flight option as it gave me the opportunity to sample five of their craft beers for a great price. My boyfriend and I also split the appetizer sampler and the pulled pork sandwich. Both were delicious - we loved the pork roll egg rolls with maple syrup! I LOVE THIS PLACE! Seriously, they have delicious beer and if you're not a beer drinker they also have wine & spirits! They also usually have live music during the weekend which is super fun! I applaud Broken Goblet for their efforts, but they fell a little flat in my personal opinion. My group was in the area so we decided to buy our Groupons and stop on by. Broken Goblet had a nice set up for sure. There were plenty of high top tables and seats at the bar. The room was bright, visually appealing and overall comfortable. Our server was friendly and helpful navigating the menu and the beer selection. I just didn't love anything I drank. I had five small pours of my own and tried two of a friend's. My pours included the Blood Orange Impact, Old Toby, the Fall of Ryesengard, Yin Yan Oatmeal Stout and HefeNer. Not bad, just nothing special. My Groupon covered the flight and two bottles that I took to go. We'll see how they go. Broken Goblet will not be a destination brewery for me, but I could see how it would be great place just to sip a beer if it's more convenient. read more
