Came in here, this craft brewery has been on my radar for a while. Had a full pour of the Tree Trippers IPA, which was excellent. We had plenty of seating upstairs, and it wasn't too busy or crowded. There was a food truck out front, and we ordered a good Philly cheesesteak and fries. Looking forward to coming back here again someday.

The beer was delicious. I had the watermelon wheat and the guava beer. Both were very good. The bartender was new, but still provided good service. The upstairs was our favorite! Old school video games, big screen playing football and a big comfy couch. My only complaint was that there was supposed to be a food truck but it was running late. Not even sure that can be held against them.

Amazing west coast IPA paired with buffalo hummus from Clean Plate Club!

A great local new brewery that has great beer, amazing people and a very attitude. The beer is more than more-hops-now IPA - great distinct flavour. The staff are all friendly and knowledgeable.

Beer wise, well they have always been average. I'm not really a fan of anything they make. It's average at best, some brews are true to the style and some are head scratchers. They have alternatives though - mead, cider, wine and cold brew coffee. Full bar and a very nice staff. Beer two stars .... building gets the third star and food from Cheese Dawgs gets them to four. Mediocre brewery meets good solid pub grub with awesome specials in a good bar setting. Kid/family friendly atmosphere. When I do get a hankering for some dogs, this is the place though.

Our experience at Third State Brewing was awesome! Leashed and friendly dogs are typically allowed outside on their patio facing the main downtown area, but when it is quiet, you can check to see if you can bring your dog inside. As you may know, New Jersey was the 3rd state to join the United States, so they have a perfect name in the very historical town of Burlington. A warm and inviting space, the indoor tasting room has bar seating and tables with games and a TV to watch the game. The outside has a few tables and you can people-watch with a great beer in hand. We enjoyed a delicious flight that included Pumpkin Pail, Burlington Island Wheat, Stinger hard seltzer, and Less Vulnerable Eric lager. They also have a non-alcoholic option. You can bring your own food too.

Small taproom right in downtown historic Burlington which is a lovely small town Main Street right by the Delaware River. Always lovely atmosphere inside. Co-owner and head brewer Billy always makes the time to come over to say hi and is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. Small tap list. There were nine beers on tap during our most recent visit on a Saturday in April. But always a great amount of variety and well crafted, interesting beers. They have some beers available in cans and certain special releases in bottles. I think they particularly excel in stouts. When we were there they had two imperial stouts that were out of this world. They do an all stouts weekend every November so if stouts are your thing definitely keep an eye out for that.

I was disappointed to see they only had two of their flagship beers for takeout (Hey Yo NE IPA and Independence Lager) and no crowler canning machine for their tap list. They will fill your personal growler and the prices for their 16oz four packs were fair. $10 for their lager and $14 for their Hey Yo NE IPA. There are a lot of other breweries charging much higher prices and/or you're paying a flat amount for beers no matter what the style (which is ridiculous) .... I can understand a higher retail if it's a limited release or higher end brew. I made it a point to return and sit down inside the brewery to take it all in. My life plans landed me there on a Sunday, unfortunately Sal's next door is closed on Sundays, so a food truck parked outside or Durham Deli across the street had to do. The layout on the inside is inviting: picnic tables or bar seating are your options. They have board games to test your mind or keep your kids occupied and there were several TV's playing NFL games. The bartender was nice and a good conversation. He was very into their beers and gave great insight into: when they were tapped, what was coming down the pike and info/ingredients of current tapped brews. I didn't see much in the way of a menu with descriptions of each beer, but then again I didn't ask. I just looked at the tap list on their menu boards which noted the tap number (16 total), name of the beer, style, abv, price and the ounces of the pour. In my opinion the variety of beer styles they had would give any beer drinker several options to try. I sampled a few different styles: Belgian IPA 7%, Winter Warmer 9.4% and their American Pilsner 5.8%. I found them to be average to slightly above average and served in proper glassware. You can get flights, a single 5oz pour or in a glass that ranged from 10-20 ounce pours. The prices were between $5-$7 for a 10-20 oz. pour. The to-go cooler had four of their brews this time and also a second cooler had local Jericho Mountain Beef. You can buy several different styles of vacuum sealed meats that looked delicious. They also serve wine, seltzers and non-alcoholic beverages. The bathrooms were pretty big and clean. They welcomed a pretty big family with several kids so I'd say your safe to bring the fam!! I'm a fan of Broad Street Brewing, I think their prices are more than fair, the staff was nice, their beers are average to above average and true to the style (from what I've tried) and the building itself was clean, open and inviting. I enjoyed my experience there and will return (preferably during Sal's business hours!). Thanks guys!

Their bar seating is limited, and every time I stop in, it's full. They have two different indoor seating rooms. We sat in the bar area dining room that has a half dozen or so tables. I liked the exposed brick look of the bar area with tasteful (not cluttered) wall decorations. You can also sit out front along the sidewalk or in a small alley out back by the kitchen. Menu wise ... I have to say I've never seen MP (market price) next to wings. Long gone are the days of ten cent or quarter wings my friends! They did have a dollar wing special on that day, so we put in for an order of Ernie's Wings - house-made buffalo sauce. buttermilk ranch. sesame seeds. scallions. wood-fired. They were fresh, a decent size and just average. The sauce flavor was adequate. I wouldn't repeat. We put in orders for two pizzas (one half and one pepp) $15 and the other was what I came for a Honey Hot Sop - red sauce. shredded mozzarella. fresh mozzarella. soppressata. hot honey. grana padano $17. The pizzas came out hot and extremely fast. The half plain, half pepp was typical. Nothing bad, nothing great with a nice char, tasty cheese and a slightly sweet/lightly seasoned sauce. The Honey Hot Sop was delicious. It had a sweet sauce, sweet yet rich buttery cheese, nice char, yummy soppressata and then a spicy peppery kick that punched you in the face. We also ordered plain fries. They were crunchy with almost a hollow core. Not a fan. I had a fresh craft hazy IPA (I'm sorry the name escapes me) that was on tap to enjoy with that wonderful hot sop pizza. They have a couple of sandwiches I'd love to try like the Chicken Fra Diablo - chicken cutlet. sharp provolone. long hot peppers. pomodoro sauce. served on a seeded roll and a cheesesteak. Our server was quick, prompt and friendly. She checked in on us several times. I'll certainly return to Itri when I get a chance. Thanks guys!

Leashed and friendly dogs are allowed inside the modern tasting room and outside at the impressive patio and we enjoyed our visit on a boisterous Sunday afternoon. The management is cognizant of how dogs may interact with each other and may suggest that if other dogs are inside maybe it will be better to sit outside, but it is all up to your comfort level. We really enjoyed this craft distillery, makers of vodka, gin, and rum that deliciously feature their liquors in hand crafted cocktails. A customer favorite is the "Famous Drilled Orange" where a hole is drilled into a fresh orange and filled with vodka. You have a choice of a grapefruit and also a liquor-free version. The Lady Guava rum-based drink is also so delicious and there is a whole list of cocktails to choose from. They also offer local beer, wine, mead, and non-alcoholic options. A soft pretzel, personal pizza, and mixed nuts are available for purchase and you can also bring your own food. There is a free parking lot right next door off Basin Street. I tried their Cedar St. bourbon - a mix of 75% Corn, 21% Rye and 4% Barley Malt. It's age statement was 2 years. It was a simple and smooth young bourbon, I had it neat and on a second trip in a cocktail called the Crazy Ex-Girlfriend - Cedar Street Bourbon, House-Made Strawberry Simple, Fresh Lemon which was sour, tart & refreshing for a gorgeous spring day. There was a hint of bourbon, but mostly sour lemon and sweet/tart strawberry. Their food menu is limited with a couple of small flatbread/personal pizzas $10 or 2 for $18 and a pretzel wreath from nearby Papa's pretzels. I had the Margherita which came on a premade whole grain shell. It had a sweet cheese & sauce, fresh basil and the crust was grainy and sweet. Simple flatbread, but it really hit the spot. (The bartender put it together quickly and baked it in a Bakers Pride oven right behind the bar.) They had several beers on tap, cider, tea, local wine/sangria, mead and some non alcoholic drinks. The list of standard and signature cocktails is a pretty good size. Their "Bristol Bomb" - FAMOUS DRILLED ORANGES (OR GRAPEFRUITS) 4 /8 Fresh Oranges Drilled filled Wit or Witout Hardware Vodka looked like a real fun drink! I will certainly return here at some point. I didn't have the pleasure of visiting Dog & Bull before it was renovated, but I visited last night and can't wait to return. My friend and I made a reservation for 5:30 PM (just in case) as we read online that reservations were recommended, but I don't actually think one was needed. When you walk in, it's bright and inviting. The garage doors throughout the property provide a ton of natural light. I can only imagine how lovely it is when they're open in the summer. Additionally, the outside has a nice patio and an area with a fire pit. The restaurant's layout was designed wonderfully! Our server was Alex (Alexandria) and she was the epitome of exceptional service. She checked in on us multiple times and always had a smile on her face when she came over. We really appreciated having her. The baked feta and hummus appetizer was just as delicious as it looks in the photo. The thick pieces of garlic, roasted red peppers, olives, cucumbers and pita bread triangles paired so nicely with the feta. The hummus was warmed up and it looked like the kitchen staff may have torched the top of it. It was phenomenal. Boy do I have notes on the lentil burger - it was 10/10!! I'm not a big bean person and even though this burger had beans in it, it somehow tasted like an actual beef burger. Sounds crazy, I know, but trust and believe it was pure excellence. I added cheddar for an additional charge and upgraded my regular fries to garlic parm fries. Finally, the caramel apple bread pudding... oh my oh my! What a DELIGHT. The top was piled high with a big scoop of frosting. Yes, you read that right. Frosting! Not ice cream! You can taste the apple pieces in the bread pudding. My friend and I wanted to order it twice. It was THAT good. It was easy to make my way to Dog & Bull from Center City thanks to the Septa station located directly behind the restaurant. Street parking also wasn't too bad yesterday.
