Another no nonsense, industrial park, good-beer brewery. I have a special place in my heart for these labors of love, and you can taste the passion in their brews. Second Sin has a lot going for it; for starters, great beer. I was immediately drawn to their Maple Boi Stout (brewed with my fav local coffee shop, Calm Waters) and their It's Cobblerin' Time- Mixed Berry Sour. To my dismay, their ABVs were 12.1% and 9.5%, respectively. ALAS! No worries. They offer the elusive 4 oz. pour! Because of the smaller portion options, I was also able to sample the Kolsch and the Gose. All four of my beers were packed with flavor. The Maple Boi was super smooth, and the Cobblerin' was deceptive in its booze content, with a super fruity palate. The only disappointment was the lack of 4 packs. Their only offerings at the time of our visit was the Kolsch. (Crowlers were an option, though!) The other thing Second Sin has going for it is space and parking. There's indoor and outdoor options with a plethora of choices. They also had some football playing and enough room indoors to social distance. I will say, they didn't have any food, except for $5 pre-packaged popcorn. I think they have food trucks that come, but we arrived right at opening on our visit, and there wasn't one there yet. The staff was super quick and super friendly. I also happen to LOVE their can label designs, displayed on the side of their fridge. The beers are reasonably priced, the location is inconspicuous, and the people are good. I'm a fan.

New brewery in the same location as the old Broken Goblet, which has moved to larger quarters down the road. Originals and guest beers running. Some very high in alcohol. About 20 high tops and a short bar with a few stools for service. That's Your Big Boy, 9.3%. Smell of coffee and cinnamon. A bit cloying mouthfeel. We liked it. New Material blonde ale was bright and fresh 6.4%. We liked it. We also tried a guest beer a Neshaminy Creek Vienna lager. Excellent. A nice color. Second Sin raspberry, a sour ale gose, I.e., salt. Some of us liked it some did some did not. Lastly we tried Second Sin MR Multiplier. A very nice IPA. Grapefruit and floral notes. Not the best looking color however. Two gender non specific bathrooms. They were new, clean and spacious. Plenty of parking right out front. A very nice new brewery in town. Mark.

Best brews in the area! I visited this brewery on a Sunday afternoon. The inside was clean and quiet - we were greeted by the head brewer/co owner who seems like a real solid guy. The bartender took our order and even carried it outside for us, which he really didn't have to do! The beer was awesome - we tried 6-7 off thé menu and each one had a juicy, clean flavor. No weird after tastes or smells, which I've seen in other breweries in the area. All solid high ratings on my untapped Will definitely be returning!

Stopped by to check out a new local brewery- one of my favorite things to do! I also love that they're Bring Your Own Food-- so we got some of our favorite Mexican food to-go and brought it here to enjoy with Second Sin's brews and had a great evening! There was some indoor tables, bar tables, and outdoor seating available as well. We started with the Perfectly Cromulent NEIPA and Guavissimo sour and they were so tasty! We also enjoyed the Mr. Greenshorts DIPA and It's Cobberlin Time Peach sour. There were a total of nine(?) beers on tap, and you can order as a 4oz, 8oz, 13oz, or 16oz. Everything was great, and we look forward to returning again to see how much this new brewery blossoms! Great beers with great growth potential!

Beers are so good, you don't even need to combine them with other beers. Wait, people do that?

Nicely designed, but kind of small. Not a huge selection of beers; mostly heavy beers (which just aren't my style).

I was able to park on the street about two blocks away and amble over to Naked Brewing Bristol Taproom. Short walk. Beautiful day. The brewery is mid-block on the west side of the street, looking its age as a late 19th Century enterprise. Bar in back. Tables up front and to the side, with wall shelves and stools for the sometimes SRO crowd. Live music in the basement from local bands. I sat at the bar, served by several lovelies who were in total control and set the vibe. I went with a 7 oz Mango Starfighter was a slightly sour/sweet beer with turmeric coloration. Liked it. But, what drew me to Naked was their collaboration with Cheese Dawgs who ran the kitchen with a primary menu of creative hot dogs at reasonable prices. Burgers, salads and sandwiches were likewise available. I chose their Philly Dog (mustard, pepper hash, onions) and New England (Boston baked beans). Both were tasty, fun and drip worthy. The frankfurters weren't all beef, but they were good enough. The rolls held their contents, but for the over abundance of ingredients spilling over the top. I asked for a spoon to handle that, and a server promptly obliged with a smile. But for the absence of tater tots and fries, I would have preferred an Italian Hot Dog, but it was a very busy day, and I wouldn't hold that against them for running out of some supplies. I had a decent conversation with both another customer and the beermaids, so all in all it was a pleasant and delicious afternoon. 5 Naked Stars for this surprisingly comfortable beer hall

I walked into Broad Street Brewing several weeks ago to check out the scene and grab some take-out…read morebeer after a visit to Sal's. I was disappointed to see they only had two of their flagship beers for takeout (Hey Yo NE IPA and Independence Lager) and no crowler canning machine for their tap list. They will fill your personal growler and the prices for their 16oz four packs were fair. $10 for their lager and $14 for their Hey Yo NE IPA. There are a lot of other breweries charging much higher prices and/or you're paying a flat amount for beers no matter what the style (which is ridiculous) .... I can understand a higher retail if it's a limited release or higher end brew. I made it a point to return and sit down inside the brewery to take it all in. My life plans landed me there on a Sunday, unfortunately Sal's next door is closed on Sundays, so a food truck parked outside or Durham Deli across the street had to do. The layout on the inside is inviting: picnic tables or bar seating are your options. They have board games to test your mind or keep your kids occupied and there were several TV's playing NFL games. The bartender was nice and a good conversation. He was very into their beers and gave great insight into: when they were tapped, what was coming down the pike and info/ingredients of current tapped brews. I didn't see much in the way of a menu with descriptions of each beer, but then again I didn't ask. I just looked at the tap list on their menu boards which noted the tap number (16 total), name of the beer, style, abv, price and the ounces of the pour. In my opinion the variety of beer styles they had would give any beer drinker several options to try. I sampled a few different styles: Belgian IPA 7%, Winter Warmer 9.4% and their American Pilsner 5.8%. I found them to be average to slightly above average and served in proper glassware. You can get flights, a single 5oz pour or in a glass that ranged from 10-20 ounce pours. The prices were between $5-$7 for a 10-20 oz. pour. The to-go cooler had four of their brews this time and also a second cooler had local Jericho Mountain Beef. You can buy several different styles of vacuum sealed meats that looked delicious. They also serve wine, seltzers and non-alcoholic beverages. The bathrooms were pretty big and clean. They welcomed a pretty big family with several kids so I'd say your safe to bring the fam!! I'm a fan of Broad Street Brewing, I think their prices are more than fair, the staff was nice, their beers are average to above average and true to the style (from what I've tried) and the building itself was clean, open and inviting. I enjoyed my experience there and will return (preferably during Sal's business hours!). Thanks guys!

Brie loves it too and was impressed by the various seating options from the bar, to beautiful wood tables and comfy chairs, a cozy corner couch area with games and books, and even a large outdoor space with a tent and heaters. Leashed and friendly dogs are allowed at all the spots! Our bartender, Tom, was awesome with helping us choose excellent beers that met our tastes like the GrunGrin wheat, Kinkora Kolsh, and Milt's Mild dark. There is a bunch more on tap and the non-alcoholic sodas are fantastic too including mango carrot, rootbeer, and cran-citrus sodas. Browsing around we appreciated the TVs to watch the game, the record exchange bin, and the elegant beauty of the beer glasses. David, the head brewer and owner, said hello to us and has years of brewing experience in Chicago and we are so lucky to have back in NJ operating a wonderful place 1 block from the Delaware River. FYI, you may see a brewery cat roaming around and, most of the time, are kept out of the tasting room. I didn't have the pleasure of visiting Dog & Bull before it was renovated, but I visited last night and can't wait to return. My friend and I made a reservation for 5:30 PM (just in case) as we read online that reservations were recommended, but I don't actually think one was needed. When you walk in, it's bright and inviting. The garage doors throughout the property provide a ton of natural light. I can only imagine how lovely it is when they're open in the summer. Additionally, the outside has a nice patio and an area with a fire pit. The restaurant's layout was designed wonderfully! Our server was Alex (Alexandria) and she was the epitome of exceptional service. She checked in on us multiple times and always had a smile on her face when she came over. We really appreciated having her. The baked feta and hummus appetizer was just as delicious as it looks in the photo. The thick pieces of garlic, roasted red peppers, olives, cucumbers and pita bread triangles paired so nicely with the feta. The hummus was warmed up and it looked like the kitchen staff may have torched the top of it. It was phenomenal. Boy do I have notes on the lentil burger - it was 10/10!! I'm not a big bean person and even though this burger had beans in it, it somehow tasted like an actual beef burger. Sounds crazy, I know, but trust and believe it was pure excellence. I added cheddar for an additional charge and upgraded my regular fries to garlic parm fries. Finally, the caramel apple bread pudding... oh my oh my! What a DELIGHT. The top was piled high with a big scoop of frosting. Yes, you read that right. Frosting! Not ice cream! You can taste the apple pieces in the bread pudding. My friend and I wanted to order it twice. It was THAT good. It was easy to make my way to Dog & Bull from Center City thanks to the Septa station located directly behind the restaurant. Street parking also wasn't too bad yesterday. I absolutely loved the experience I had here and will be stopping by again this summer! Thanks, Dog & Bull!
