We chatted with the proprietor, a very nice lady, and bought two wines, a sweeter wine for hubby, Moms Apple Pie, and a slightly dry wine, Seyval Blanc, for me. Both were very tasty wines from $14-$16. They also sell small platters of cheese and small charcuterie platters, which we love! We'll stop by again!

Long story short and to employ a reviewer cliche: "Got Wine?" is a hidden gem! As is downtown Bristol really. Anyway you walk in and are greeted by friendly folks who go over your options, and options abound: $4 glasses of wine (great deal), beer as low as $2.50 for yuengling, and different size wine slushies ranging from I think $5 up to $20 for the huge one. Boo got a $10 one, today was lemonade flavor, and she loved it. "Pro tip:" you can get them to go! Just don't drive! Bottles around $11-13 and it's all from the local Buckingham winery. Yeah, the wine is not gonna compete with a Bordeaux or Napa/Sonoma or even Chile's finest, but it's nice to support small business and the flavor profiles run the gamut from dry to very sweet. We checked in on Yelp and took advantage of the wine tasting for 2 for $10. Where else can you get a few pieces of nice aged cheddar (Cabot from VT, my fave), havarti and Gouda cheese, 2 souvenir glasses, and 6 tastings for 2 people for 10 bucks?? They even do "enhancers" for a buck or two per full glass of wine, meaning they'll spike it with a PA-made rum or vodka for an extra kick. Didn't try that this time but maybe in the future. We plan to come back on a nice fall day, catch a buzz, walk around the nice part of Bristol and enjoy the riverfront promenade. Open until 7 or 8pm depending on the day, I'd recommend stopping by when you're out and about on a weekend. Only 15 minutes from Bordentown and route 130 for us Jersey folk.

The bar staff is genuine, welcoming, and in it to ensure you have a comfortable and pleasurable experience. The atmosphere along with the crowd screams family, friends, and history. The care, precision, and skill in which this establishment partakes showcases its desire to remain one of Levittown's most iconic and favorable hangout spots! I would highly and sincerely recommend Bailey's to both locals and visitors to this historic and family-oriented community!

The BBQ chicken nachos were amazing. Just the right amount of BBQ sauce and created with care. These weren't just chips with topping slapped on. They were layered deep with perfectly crafted precision. Just the right amount of everything on each delightfully crispy chip. These weren't chicken parm sandwich deserves high accolades as well. Overflowing the bun. Cooked to perfection crispy and juicy. The "pretzel garlic knots" wear VERY good however they were just garlic knots with no pretzel color or flavor. Very good garlic knots and a banging cheese sauce but not pretzel like we expected. We came on a trivia night and the place filled up by the time we were ready to go. Bailey's staff is on top of things, friendly and engaging. Located across the street from Richmans ice cream and burgers just by five points in Levittown. Bailey's is a perfect place for a quick drink, a late night snack, after work meetup, lunch, dinner or a night out with friends. It's a bar that's is so much more than "bar" food.

Jason was willing to work with us and so detailed, I was so impressed, I not only booked the rehearsal dinner there, but then hired Dog and Bull to provide our bar service at the wedding venue and the after party. All three of these events were separate, but perfectly facilitated. The food and service were amazing and my guests are still raving about the events. Use them for your catered events in or outside of the restaurant. You will not be disappointed. Jason who handled all of my catered events was awesome The staff also awesone. I didn't have the pleasure of visiting Dog & Bull before it was renovated, but I visited last night and can't wait to return. My friend and I made a reservation for 5:30 PM (just in case) as we read online that reservations were recommended, but I don't actually think one was needed. When you walk in, it's bright and inviting. The garage doors throughout the property provide a ton of natural light. I can only imagine how lovely it is when they're open in the summer. Additionally, the outside has a nice patio and an area with a fire pit. The restaurant's layout was designed wonderfully! Our server was Alex (Alexandria) and she was the epitome of exceptional service. She checked in on us multiple times and always had a smile on her face when she came over. We really appreciated having her. The baked feta and hummus appetizer was just as delicious as it looks in the photo. The thick pieces of garlic, roasted red peppers, olives, cucumbers and pita bread triangles paired so nicely with the feta. The hummus was warmed up and it looked like the kitchen staff may have torched the top of it. It was phenomenal. Boy do I have notes on the lentil burger - it was 10/10!! I'm not a big bean person and even though this burger had beans in it, it somehow tasted like an actual beef burger. Sounds crazy, I know, but trust and believe it was pure excellence. I added cheddar for an additional charge and upgraded my regular fries to garlic parm fries. Finally, the caramel apple bread pudding... oh my oh my! What a DELIGHT. The top was piled high with a big scoop of frosting. Yes, you read that right. Frosting! Not ice cream! You can taste the apple pieces in the bread pudding. My friend and I wanted to order it twice. It was THAT good. It was easy to make my way to Dog & Bull from Center City thanks to the Septa station located directly behind the restaurant. Street parking also wasn't too bad yesterday. I absolutely loved the experience I had here and will be stopping by again this summer! Thanks, Dog & Bull!
