Best local brewery! Amazing atmosphere and Tremendous trivia nights! I always look forward to trying out a new food truck while I'm there :)

Nice little brewery that is mostly unknown outside of its immediate community. My girlfriend and I visited for the first time on a Sunday evening. Spacious interior with plenty of tables as well as seats at the bar. We sat at the bar, and the bartender (Chrissy) was super friendly and also a fellow teacher! The beer was good with one standout - the Kalapa which is a coconut milk stout on nitro which was absolutely delicious. I'm a big fan of German beers and Germany in general, so it was also nice to see they had quite a few German style beers on tap as well. We live an hour away so I can't say we'll be back anytime soon, but it was a very nice place to spend a few hours and can definitely recommend it to other beer lovers. read more

First time here, went for Thursday night trivia with some friends. The host was fantastic and we had a great time. They have a rotating food truck every day, I love this! Unfortunately the planned food truck had an issue so food was limited. You can bring your own food, door dash or order delivery as options as well. Bar service was great and you can order in online and have it brought to the table. They have a lot of in-house brewed beer options. I was also surprised to see so many unique mocktails. If you headed over on a night with trivia arrive early. The parking lot is small and once it fills up there isn't anywhere else to park. They do offer a significant discount on your first drink if you uber over because of this issue which is a nice spin. read more

I really like this space. Cozy in the cold weather and probably quite nice in the summer heat. It looks like they have great outdoor seating so good for all seasons. Chrissy was behind the bar and she was very pleasant and attentive. Their beer selection is quite nice and I was happy to see two different milk stouts on the menu. Both are delicious, though I leaned toward the non-coconut milk one. Both are great. We also had some scoops and dip from their food menu. There was a food truck when we first got there (always a good thing) but we didn't get a chance to visit. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience there, got a free sticker for the laptop, and look forward to visiting again the next time we are in town. Highly recommended for those that enjoy good craft beer. Plus, as an added bonus, they have plenty of other beverages on the menu. read more

Aristaeus, an Ancient Greek demigod of beekeepers and vine planters (and apparently of beer fermentation), has taken up quarters in an old industrial building on Big Oak Road in Langhorne, PA. The adaptive reuse is rustic and effective, with more shaded outdoor patio seating than indoor bar and scattered tables near the stainless vats that produce some pretty tasty lagers. Son and I stopped in for a quick taste and Fathers' Day tipple, sitting at the bar for a close look at the operation and to be able to sample everything available from the multi-tapped ale pipes. Our keeper was friendly and an able hostess, allowing us to sample six variants before we settled on New England Fog for the young man, and Blackberry Summer Smash for this dude. Both made a statement; the hazy lager with a pronounced pleasant flavor and the seasonal berry a slightly sweet aftertaste that was enjoyable as it flowed down the gullet. Only real questionable aspect was the "Food Truck," from Giovanni's Pickle (not the full name, but you can find it if interested). In fact, there was no truck, but only a temporary canopy with tables of pickle jars for purchase and sampling, and a small cooler with their famous Pickle Hoagie. What's that, you ask? Well it's an Italian hoagie (ham, spiced ham, provolone, bacon & mayo on a large hollowed out dill pickle). Grab it and take a big bite. Not bad as an original approach to a sandwich, but not much to shout about after the initial thrill is gone. Overall, it was disappointing as a snack as the only choice available. It seemed our barkeep was somewhat disdainful of their effort, and after exploring the goods I understood why. There was very little "there" there. So, go for the beer, but if hungry, hope for a better food alternative. If there's no truck, you're out of luck! 3.5 STARS read more

Amazing open concept brewery. It's something unique and I love the feel of it. The space is spacious outside. The wait staff was friendly and welcoming. I came with my boyfriend and we both like the variety of beer, cold brew, vine and even kombucha. We heard of the seasonal options and we are excited to come back for the eggnog one later this year. There's a small food selection to go with the drinks, but there's also a food truck nearby. We hope they will have more in the future. French fries would be a nice addition. We enjoyed ourselves overall. P.S. The QR ordering is very simple to use and you can even change tables throughout the night if you want to. read more

A beautiful Sunday afternoon the first in at least two weeks. We came by after doing a few chores. The place was moderately busy it is 2pm. Saw a couple of neighbors at the bar. We live minutes away and consider this our neighborhood brewery. Service was great as always. We got a couple of Skyline 75 pints a wonderful American Lager. Clean fresh and the perfect temperature. We did not get food. Harry the proprietor is now adding non alcoholic and whiskey selections. We will return and try some of those new offerings. Nancy & Mark. read more

After fun times at Styers down the street the fam and I decided to stop in here for a late lunch and beer on a Saturday. Parking was plentiful and the building looks nice from the outside. The outside had patio seating and the inside had a mix of bar seating, long picnic style seating and smaller tables. The exposed wood ceiling beams painted white on the inside are very cool and the layout isn't bad. I wasn't a big fan of the people working. The guy walking around the brewing area was a bit snarky when I asked a few questions about the lunch truck for the day and the lady behind the bar was more interested in chatting away with some regulars than making conversation with other customers. I think a big part of that comes from the ordering system which is through QR codes. You put scan, put your info in and order away. The bartender just puts up everything at the bar and announces your name. Although I'm sure this type of system is convenient and great for the brewery, I find it impersonal and not fitting for their smaller model. Later on during our visit I ordered a beer at the bar and asked if that could be added to our tab. The bartender said sure, but proceeded to give a customer his tab while walking over to the taps. She then had a five minute conversation with him because they work together at the same school. We ended up adding two beers via the QR code and suddenly we were relevant again. Poor bartending. The food truck was late, but worth the wait. It was the Taco the Town truck. Expensive, but trust me delicious. Inside the brewery itself we snacked on soft pretzels (ordered through the QR code) while we waited for the truck to set up. Beer wise you are offered 5oz, 10oz and pint pours. There were 12 beers on tap, two were on nitro and the abv range was between 4% and 7%. I appreciated the variety of styles they had. The Nitro Stout Dark Matter was smooth, creamy and easy drinking. The Nitro ESB Crooked Teeth was as well. You don't see many ESB's on tap so that was a nice treat. The New England Fog Hazy IPA was just above average and simple for the style. I'm glad it wasn't a total sugar bomb like many beers of that style. The Big Oak Bend Rye Saison lacked the bite of rye and the zesty punch I was looking for. My wife enjoyed the Belgian blonde and Belgian pale ale they had. We took in some college football on the two TV's they had up and decided to take home several four packs. They had three German styles (Munich Dunkel, Fest bier and Marzen I bought as well as the Belgian Pale Ale and Hazy IPA. The German styles were all about average. The four packs were $18 each. If your looking to save some money, you may want to bring your own grub or hit up Styers for some sandwiches from their deli. Although I appreciate the craft of brewing beer, I think our market is saturated with average beer. I don't think I'd return here unless I was in the neighborhood. The experience with the staff did not make us feel welcome. read more

Bring your own beer! Simply the worst microbrew I've been to in the US and outlying territories. Nearly undrinkable and the atmosphere is just odd and twaty. Sat at the bar after working in the field all day and the owner decided to make jokes about my clothes and boots. You're in Bucks County you tool. read more

Aristaeus is a hidden gem!! Great craft brewery also serving craft whiskies. Chrissy and other bartenders friendly and fast! Wonderful selection if you're tired of all IPA lineups as the 10 beers on tap or those canned in the take out fridge cover a wide spectrum. The brewmaster here has the gift. Food trucks usually have great eats. Plenty of parking, laid back, games in the big screen, and live music on weekends. Family friendly. read more

While visiting Aristaeus, the ordering experience was interesting. Scanning a qr code to order and pay, then a server would come out and bring the drinks. Its efficient but a bit interpersonal when it comes to communicating. We sat outside and the weather was nice, the seating arrangements were semi close to the performers stage which I could see being an issue but we had just missed the band. I had Boardroom Vodka Soda which is something I wouldn't personally drink again. My friend had a flight. Out of the three beers he had, he didn't feel he really enjoyed any of them but two out of the 3 were fine. We didn't have a horrible experience just overall didn't really feel like it was somewhere we would go back. Although a food truck was nearby, it would be a nice addition to add something to menu when we are ordering off the QR. read more

My fiancée and I had been anxious to check out this new micro brewery, conveniently located around the corner from our development. On a Sunday afternoon we were looking to unwind after a busy Saturday, and agreed this was the time to scope the scene at Aristaeus. Our first observation - it was jammed up (a good sign). We had to wait a minute for a parking spot to open up, and as we approached the outdoor seating, noticed there was no tables to be had. Whom we would quickly learn to be the owner, Harry walked over and offered to grab a table and some chairs and maneuver a makeshift spot for us. In speaking with him just a few minutes, you could quickly learn this was his passion project, with customer service being a priority for a native Langhorn-ian(?). Beer menu is balanced and straightforward (I loved the Bernadette red ale - named after Harry's mother). What's also cool is you can order everything from your mobile phone and the servers bring it right out. You can choose to pay with credit card or cash at the end. The vibe outside was very laid back with a mixture of picnic tables and regular seating. And the food truck (rotates daily) was serving up some awesome fare. We will definitely be back, perhaps next time checking out the cozy taproom inside! read more

Another average brewery. They have a bunch of different styles to choose from and the order process is relatively seamless: scan the QR code, put all your information in and order everything your heart desires. I (of course) wanted to try one of everything, but nothing really stood out to me except for Christmas Miracle. It really tasted like eggnog, so big props there. Love that since they're in PA, they can have a food truck. Jersey needs to figure that issue out. Parking was easy and the people working were friendly. If their beer were better, I would for sure come back. read more

I would love more snack options inside the brewery itself, but this is a great hidden gem and the trivia nights are so fun!

Owner was not welcoming or family friendly. Told us that it is not a place to bring your kids. If he would have asked us nicely to make sure our kids are sitting it would have been different. In 2023, it's a norm to bring kids to a brewery especially when it is not crowded. If you do not want children to come, advertise that. You will not get business from us again. read more

Fantastic brewery! Inside & outside have a great vibe. Tried a few beers, which were very good. The pizza kona food truck was there. Waitress was awesome though she was quite busy. We will bring our own snack food next time. Highly recommend! read more
