Beware of bad business practice. Read the attached NJ law before going there. Look at the attached receipt and menus. 1. Does it look like you are getting a discount if you pay with cash? 2. Does the check reflect correct prices for the food items you ordered? 3. If they told you that they will add 4% fee to your check for using credit cards, would you have agreed to pay that fee? 4. What is REAL fee that the credit card company charge to this restaurant? My guess is it's not 4%. The manager told us this is how their "new system" works as if the management has no control over it. They are playing games and they want you to "just pay and go". Please review the attached NJ law.

Great bar with awesome vibes! Huge bar with live music. Second bar in back area. Food is good and service is great. The wings are fantastic! A bit much dressing on the wedge salad, but it was fine. Burgers, pub food, seafood, specials, beers, and cocktails....what more do you need!

$13 BBQ Wings

Had high hopes for this place on a weekend. Upon walking in, I liked the bright, airy, modern space. There were only a handful of people in at the time, and so it was nice to be there and be able to have conversation during a meal. I can imagine, though, when it's crowded or busy, how incredibly loud it must get. On to the food. I decided to try wings, which apparently get lots of raves on some different review sites. I didn't actually see any flavors that appealed to my taste buds at first, so I went for a good old fashioned BBQ sauce. To me it was overly sweet and overall, unimpressive. How so? I didn't even bother bringing the leftovers home. Service was inconsistent - initially warm and friendly, and then invisible.

Disappointed in the nachos

Ran in for a quick afternoon snack during the weekend. This place has been on my list forever but we weren't impressed with our choices. I got the nachos - absolutely no flavor, everything tasted as if it came straight out of a jar or can. The tomato chunks were huge - as if the cook gave up half way though the prep. All the toppings were poured on top. Meh. I'll spend my money elsewhere that puts a little more effort into my meal.

One of our go to places for a quick bite to eat. Good food, servers are all young college age kids. Hit or miss with attentiveness, sometimes you have to wait a long time for a check. The other new thing some restaurants are tacking on a percentage fee for credit card use. They are up to 4% fee for credit card use here. Great music and wonderful desserts!! Lemon cello is tasty and more than enough to share. We enjoy listening to the old songs that are not played on the radio .

I've driven by Mulligans a thousand times since I work close by and finally stopped in today for the first time. It's really two bars in one: the original is a small, dark wood paneled bar straight out of the seventies. Just a year or two ago they built an addition, so right next to the old bar is the new one which is huge, bright, modern and well decorated. I'm a beer guy so that's really all I care about when I come to most bars. The beer list is pretty standard; a whole lot of average domestics (Bud, Miller, etc.), one or two locals (Tonewood and Kings Road), and a few imports (Guinness, Heineken, Stella Artois, etc.). Nothing exciting. I didn't try the food but the woman next to me was very excited about her crab bisque and let me know six or seven times how good it was, so there you go. Try the crab bisque. The tv's in the new addition are massive and it feels like there are about 60 or 70 of them in there so it's an awesome place to watch a game. Jack the bartender is an awesome guy. You can't go wrong with him. Great spot that I'll definitely return to soon.

Updated review. Not much has changed. Food awesome. Ambiance cool. Service still bad. Once we got a server she was very pleasant however I don't believe it was her fault on how long it took her to get back to us. We also sat for almost a full 30 minutes before we were helped. When we asked the bartender for a server she treated me like I'm a bother. My last two times I stopped in because I'm not a regular I felt like a bother to the staff. Because the food is so good here I'm not ready to write it off however if I'm dropping 130 including tip for two adults and a toddler for a weeknight dinner I feel like like we need to feel a little better about our experience than we are a burden for showing up. My wife and I work hard to have these nice little dinners. We are ok with spending our money elsewhere. Do better !

The…read morefood is consistently very good -- the burgers are huge, the fries are amazing, and the crab fries (made with real crab meat) are absolutely delicious... and that's coming from someone who doesn't even like crab all that much. One of the most fun things on the menu is their chicken "thumbs," which are shaped like little hands -- I wish I took a picture because they're great and definitely something you don't see everywhere. Service can be a little hit or miss, but not because the staff isn't working hard -- it's a big place and when it gets busy, it really gets busy, and they sometimes seem a bit understaffed for the rush. That said, everyone is always very friendly, which makes a big difference and keeps the experience positive. They also have a huge bar with several beers on tap, great specialty drinks, and drink specials, so it's a great place to hang out with friends and have a good time. Overall, definitely worth a visit. Just maybe don't go if you're in a big rush -- go when you have time to relax, enjoy the atmosphere, and have a good meal.

The bank rolls, dry rub wings, and whiskey wings were absolutely amazing--perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. Service was friendly and fast, which made the experience even better. Even made my own a few times, thinking I had it all figured out. But then I walked into The Bank Bar and had my mind completely rearranged. The place itself? Perfect. It's got that old-school, no-nonsense vibe with just enough charm to let you know they actually care. You walk in, and it's like the place has been waiting for you--dark wood, a little history on the walls, and that unmistakable smell of something incredible happening in the kitchen. The kind of place where you know, deep down in your soul, that good things are about to happen. And then came the sandwich. This roast pork wasn't just good. It wasn't just great. It was the best roast pork sandwich I have ever had in my life. No exaggeration. First bite--boom--instant revelation. The pork was juicy, packed with deep, rich flavor, and shredded just right, like it had been slow-cooked by someone who truly understands patience. The roll? Oh man, that perfect balance of crusty and soft, holding everything together without stealing the show. Then you get hit with the garlicky, herb-loaded bite of the greens--sautéed just enough to still have a little bite, but soft enough to melt into everything else. And the cheese? Sharp provolone, the kind that makes your taste buds wake up and pay attention. I sat there, sandwich in hand, just nodding to myself like some kind of roast pork prophet. Every bite was a reminder that this is how it's supposed to be done. It wasn't a meal. It was a life experience. If you haven't been to The Bank Bar yet, fix that immediately. Order the roast pork. Thank me later.
