Beautiful place on the Ronconcas Creek. It has outdoor seating, a gazebo and the perfect spot for a sunset picture. We lucked out, they had live entertainment. He was very good. We were celebrating our 25th Anniversary. On our table we had a postcard wishing us a happy anniversary. Thought that was a nice touch. Jack, our server was friendly, he wished us a happy anniversary, and took our drink order. We got a Tequila Sunset and a Tequila Old Fashioned. Both drinks were perfect. Bread and water came right after. The bread was soft and warm with herb butter. For apps we ordered the tuna tartar, bada bing shrimp, and the crab stuffed scallops wrapped in bacon. The tuna was fresh on a bed of seaweed topped with pickled ginger and peppers. The bada bing shrimp was crunchy, spicy and delicious over a bed of lettuce. The scallops were stuffed with crab meat and wrapped in bacon. Three scallops over a bed of tomatoes and mushrooms. The saltiness from the bacon added another level of flavor. This was my favorite out of the three apps. For dinner, we ordered the NY Strip steak with potatoes and a side of mushrooms. The steak was juicy and had great flavor. We ordered the Chilean Sea Bass over a bed of asparagus and tomatoes. The sauce was delicately flavored. The flavor of the sauce enhanced the flavor of the fish. The sea bass was tender and delicious. For dessert, we ordered the dulce de leche ice cream sprinkled with chocolate chips drizzled dulce de leche and a dab of whipped cream. It was supposed to have lady fingers but ours didn't come with it. We figured it was because we were also given two cannolis for our anniversary. It was a pleasant surprise. This was a great meal. Service was great. Food was delicious and the restsurant is located on a beautiful creek. Whether just dinner or celebrating a special occasion Carlucci's is highly recommended. read more

We haven't been here in years, but we met friends out for dinner in early August and they have updated and done construction to improve the restaurant, but I guess I was just really shocked at how the prices have increased and we're astronomical for one person's dinner. We had an older gentleman, I wanna say his name was Robert or Bob for our server and he was good, but he seemed like he had way too many tables to handle, but that was Not his fault. All of the appetizers were delicious, but there was four of us in our party and we are all adults and have big appetite so maybe appetizers next time won't be adequate, but our dinners were delicious, but some of them were wrong. Our dear friend was with us and she got the fillet and it was supposed to be medium, but it was well done and Robert did not check back in time so our friend ended up just eating the tough and overdone filet mignon My husband got some sort of pasta and what's supposed to have a protein in it, but they never put it in there and my meat lasagna looked like it had gray meat in it, but by the time Robert came back it was pretty much pointless to continue our meals Anyway, I don't think I would go back. The decor and atmosphere and ambience are beautiful, but the food was ..... how do I put it? Very "meh" lunch here. The lunch entrees could include a small salad. Had the seafood canneloni. A few very small shrimp and a few pieces of crab thrown on top. However the seafood canneloni itself was filled with the almost "artificial" dyed haddock that's made to look like shredded crabmeat! This is the stuff used in the cheap "seafood salad" mixes. Very disappointed. Enclosed patio needs an overhaul and dining room reeks of musk. My partners' chicken francise was lackluster. read more

Seated almost immediately in a covered outdoors area with a break taking view of the water. The music played lightly in the background tables are adequately spaced apart setting is both practical and upscale so you feel like it's a fine dining experience even at 1 PM in the afternoon; Hostess and wait staff dressed appropriately, but did not have the air of arrogance that most do. Food was appropriately proportionated for price point, complex in preparation/seasoning but staying true to simple essence of the dish that reminds of us home or Nona. Cáprese salad was good 4/5 (tomato type and minimal glaze) but still enjoyed, Paperdelle Beef Stew 5/5 was ORGASMIC, affogato desert 4/5 wasn't on the menu but Alex made it happen and it was everything I needed, and tiramisu 4.5/5 light fluffy not flavored cake but balanced flavorful very good! Highly recommend you're looking for phenomenal Italian food paired with a breathtaking view, look no further. The ambiance is stunning, but what really made my trip was the exceptional service. ALEX was my server not only did he initially accommodate me in a whisper as a phenomenal lasted too long, allowed me to peruse the menu without feeling pressured, was attentive without being over bearing, and most importantly he ANTICIPATED my needs, rather than waiting for me to ask! He is an asset to this restaurant but whilst I brag about my server each of my interactions were exceptional from someone near the bar directing me to the restrooms, the busboys, bread deliverer, etc. see the manager making rounds to other tables ot answering questions about delivery. I attended a beautiful baby shower at Carlucci's Waterfront. There was a mimosa bar, soft drinks, iced tea and later, coffee and tea. As appetizers, they had antipasto trays. Lunch included salad, rolls and butter, the choice of three entrees and cane for dessert, which was a delicious tiramisu. Other desserts were brought in as well eh o is called in the photo. The room was beautiful and service was wonderful, they were fully staffed for a room of 60, which you don't always see anymore. Always loved Carlucci's and this was my first shower to attend - I would highly recommend for any type of party. read more

I came here for a bridal shower and the restaurant/space was beautiful! As the name suggests, the restaurant is right on the water and has a view of the Rancocas Creek. There was another bridal shower and also a baby shower at the restaurant at the same time along with people dining normally, so it was definitely a large space. There were potatoes, quiches, and bacon and everything was delicious. The potatoes were perfectly tender and well-seasoned. I would love to come back and dine in the restaurant! read more

Carlucci's was our date night restaurant and the overall experience was wonderful with the food being AAAAAMAZING .... some of the best Italian food I've had in my adult life ... like literally DELICIOUS! The ambiance was perfect for date night and the lighting and live music helped set the tone. Their menu had so many delicious options that it was hard to decide, but we wound up getting the Crab Stuffed Bacon Wrapped Scallops for our appetizer and the Braciola and Short Rib Pasta for our entrees (with a side of Broccoli Rabe to share). I said it in the beginning of the review and I'll say it again ... THIS FOOD WAS OUTSTANDING!!!! Service was good overall but our side order of Broccoli Rabe was forgotten so we never received it but the server of course took it off of the bill. We are definitely coming back! So I went here for my daughter's college graduation party. We had a party of 15 people. I will say the place is very nice. We had a table with a view of the water and I wish it wasn't raining or it would have been better. I was surprised at the paling space and the valet parking option. We went in the afternoon so it wasn't too crowded. What I had was pretty good. My only complaints are that it wasn't enough food and the waiter didn't ask us for drink refills. I had to flag someone down to get drink refills.. I wish I had took pictures but I was too engaged In various conversations I just forgot but everything I tried was good. The Calamari I had was the best I have tasted. The octopus I had was good. Everything was just good I would go back. Sorry again for no pictures. read more

Every time I come here there's an issue. The food is fine it's nothing special. The service leaves something to be desired. The last time I was here was in 2019 and there was an issue at my birthday dinner so I never returned. Came back this weekend for an event and nothing has changed for the better. Room was a complete disaster when we got there to set up. We were actively setting up and the man was mopping next to my feet LOL. I've set up at a ton of showers at this point and that was ridiculous. It didn't surprise me that the host of this event had issues with Carluccis and communication because I had the same problem in 2019. Hence why I didn't come back. read more

We had our daughter and her fiancée's engagement party/brunch here. The service was excellent!.Rosaria is an excellent hostess. She made sure we had everything we needed and was extremely hospitable. The buffet selections were delicious and flavorful. The venue itself was beautiful and provided ample space and we were able to maneuver between the indoor and outdoor space easily. The restaurant provides tablecloths and napkins in the colors you choose and also allows for decorating. There were also two other parties going on at the same time as ours in and the space was large enough that we did not hear them. Thank you for making our celebration special. read more

Went for an early dinner last night, September 5, 2026. We sat at the bar and order two drinks. The bartender offered us the menu which we looked at and decided to eat something at the bar. We ordered what I was told were the two most popular dishes. Mine was the seafood cannelloni, which was supposed to be topped with shrimp and crab meat. it had a few of the tiniest shrimp and a few pieces of crab. The flavor was bland and I had to add pepper flakes and salt to eat it. The worst part was that when I got to the bottom of the cannelloni the was a fly still alive in the sauce. I didn't say anything to ruin my partners dinner. The bill with tip was $200.00. My opinion is that there are plenty of good restaurants. Avoid this one. The thought of a fly in my food has made me sick ever since. I guess I should have pointed it out to the bartender. Will never go back. read more

We really enjoy eating at Carlucci's. This was our go to place 20 + years ago. And in the past 5 years we have added it to our normal rotation of local restaurants. Food quality and service is always consistent and enjoyable. And the patio view at amazing at sunset. My only complaint I have is from our dinner there this week. Made a reservation for our family, mid week on the patio at 6pm. Our table was ready upon arrival. Hostess walks us to the patio and our table. Unfortunately for us, they had a live musician playing on the patio directly in front of our table. I asked if she could seat us as far from the music as possible. The only other patio option was 2 tables away. She asked what the issue was and I explained that the music was entirely too loud. A simple conversation at the table would not be possible. She said she would ask them to turn it down. We agreed and sat at the alternate table. In her defense I do believe the volume was turned down for a little while. But after the musician's short break, the volume was back up. To the point that we have to raise our voices for a normal conversation. Our table of six could only joke about the music at this point. I personally do not understand how or why places think loud live music during dinner time is acceptable. Especially for a restaurant charging top dollar for a meal. But lesson learned, I will need to verify if they have music before making a future reservation. read more

I came to dine about a week ago, the food was good, and our server was incredible! However, when greeted by the blonde white young woman at the front, i received attitude and unprofessionalism. The young lady was very passive aggressive and seemed troubled by helping us. Not only that I have a speech impediment causing me to studder the hostess in question laughed at me when i spoke and seemed unable to take me seriously. I love the waterfront and was hoping for better customer service as I then had felt very uncomfortable. read more

Food was very average and way overpriced. Saw $49 for shrimp risotto and my jaw dropped. We ordered 3 appetizers instead. All were just ok. Calamari was Sysco rubbery frozen calamari. So disappointing for the price. We sat outside, it was very hot. There were ceiling fans that were not turned on. There was a floor fan pointed away from all guests. We waited about 20 minutes for a table for lunch. This place is built for large banquets, not for a good sit down meal. No sign of a manager checking on guests. Service was fine. The ambiance was very nice. We went with another couple and we were seated by the window with a great view of the river. The restaurant is well maintained and the bathrooms are extremely clean. The food was definitely lack luster. We ordered scallops Angelica, Nona's meatballs and calamari. The waiter seemed to disappear for a long while. We sat waiting to get artificial sweetener for our ice teas as all the ice melted. When the appetizers finally came they were lukewarm warm as if sitting under a light for a long time. The scallops had definitely dried out. We were hungry and did not complain. The restaurant was not particularly crowded at this point. I am not sure if what the delay was. I ordered the seafood cannelloni. It was three, inch and a half pasta rolls filled with I am not sure what... it was supposed to be crab... I could not taste crab and the smallest shrimp I have ever eaten. The sauce was good. We all thought dinner was of medium quality. Our husbands got the dulce de leche and we ordered amarena Cherry parfaits. They were all melted with a small cold spot. Overall dinner could have been better. read more

This beautiful restaurant was the perfect venue for our daughter's wedding this past weekend. Danielle was just the best. She's a pleasure to work with, knowledgeable, and kept everything on track. The view from the gazebo on a splendid autumn day created a gorgeous setting for the ceremony. The reception was wonderful and the food delicious. Danielle, Rosaria, Carlo, and Carlo made us feel like family and we couldn't have asked for a better day. Highly recommend for any celebration or just for dinner! Food is excellent as is the service. The location has a beautiful view of the river. Plenty of parking. Easy access off I-295 and NJTPK.

Easy to make reservations and the hostess was very pleasant on the phone and in person. She remembered that this lunch was for our birthday and a nice card was waiting for us at the table. They also served us their cannolis and fresh fruit with a candle to make a birthday wish. 2 candles would have been better but, nice touch! The restaurant wasn't busy but the patio that overlooks the river was much warmer than the inside section. We chose to stay there for the open and airy ambiance. Our food was pretty average and I would have preferred more choices of pasta to go with our veal and chicken entrees. The portions were huge and so was the salad. Our server was a bit slow but he was covering most of the guests. Once we got his attention, he aimed to please and really, all our needs were met. What a beautiful restaurant with truly lovely views that immediately set the tone for the evening . The experience itself was just as wonderful, and knowing it is family owned and operated really comes through in the high level of service. We chose to sit on the enclosed patio to maximize the scenery , and it did not disappoint, especially with them experimenting with live music that night . Indoor dining looked equally charming and would be perfect for a romantic night out . I ordered the Seafood Carnevale with marinara sauce and penne, and it was fantastic, with flavor that felt perfectly balanced and truly memorable . I would highly recommend that dish without hesitation. One of the Carlucci sons stopped by our table to welcome us and make sure we were enjoying ourselves, which felt thoughtful and personal, though his name escapes me since there are two with the same name . After dinner, there is a lovely walkway behind the restaurant ‍ that's perfect for a relaxed stroll. Parking was ample and convenient , which made the overall experience even smoother. Watch your credit card charges!!! This place over charged me. I was charged twice for the meal I ordered. I split the bill. My company has a per diem therefore I asked for a certain amount to be charged to my company card and the balance to another card. The two receipts have the correct amounts, however, the company card was statement has the entire amount instead of the split cost. read more
