The garlic knots was broken into peices, cold and hard. The Caesar salad did not taste like Caesar dressing but more like mayonnaise with powdered parmesan cheese. Only 4 peices of parmesan chicken. Decent food for local Italian restaurant. Kind of hidden from view on a side street. Bread was good as a starter when we sat down. The tomato basil soup was kind of different from what I had previously at other restaurants.. Don't get me wrong. It was good, but it was more like a chunky style soup with cubed vegetables in it just different. That's all. The sampler antipasto was good. I especially like the stuffed long hot and the bread with prosciutto and a soft cheese on top. Pretty sure it was cream cheese. I ordered the meat lovers fusilli. Upon arrival, it had one meatball one flat patty of sausage, but this meat sauce was abundant and tasty. Honestly could've used another meatball or a piece of sausage to round it out. My wife had the boiled seafood combination, which was cooked well presented well she enjoyed the meal overall and would order it again. The food was decent. The atmosphere was decent. The service was very nice and friendly. The overall pricing was a bit expensive. A little more than what I think was a good fair price but it's not a place I'm going to comfort be eating at every day so every once in a while it'll do. read more

Just had a 40th birthday luncheon at Due Amici. They are local for me and a staple in our neighborhood. From booking to changing menus to the event, they were great. They accommodated all my requests, presentation of food was right on, waiters were pleasant, responsive and even my guests complimented the staff. Due Amici was one of the preferred catering vendors for our wedding venue (Estate at Eagle Lake). We first met Erika (Director of Operations) at one of our venue's open houses. Not only was she was one of the sweetest people ever, but the hors d'oeuvres she was passing around were DELICIOUS, so we scheduled a food tasting. We sampled a wide variety of their menu at the complimentary tasting and thought everything was delicious, so we hired Due Amici to cater our wedding! After hiring them and choosing our catering package, we were asked to choose double the number of hors d'oeuvres in our package to sample (example: we did the Diamond package which includes 12 hors d'oeuvres and we got to choose 24 of them to sample at the tasting!!). If that doesn't sound amazing already, they let us sample EVERY SINGLE ENTREE. We were able to taste EVERYTHING before deciding what we wanted to put on our wedding menu! We went to multiple tastings with other caterers before ultimately choosing Due Amici, and believe me, being able to try EVERYTHING on your wedding menu is rare. Carlo and I loved everything we chose for our wedding menu, but we're still dreaming about and drooling over the following: - Almond Crusted Chicken - Filet Mignon with Onions and Mushrooms - Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes - Crab Stuffed Mushrooms - Bacon Wrapped Scallops - Crab balls (This sentence isn't wedding related, but we've also tried their mozzarella sticks and fried calamari and they're really good!!) Food aside - Erika, Celeste (catering event manager), and Jackie (manager) were so amazing and an absolute DREAM TEAM to work with and the team is one of the main reasons why we chose to hire Due Amici. They made the planning process so seamless, they prepared the table settings beautifully, and they were so accommodating and helpful every step of the way. Erika and her staff even loaded up our car at the end of the night with our many yummy leftovers that we ate for days (until we decided to freeze it lol). Due Amici is top tier Italian food and I highly recommend dining there, hosting an event there, and/or having your event catered by them! I promise you won't be disappointed! read more

First time here. My coworker told me I need to try it out so I ordered the chix parm family meal with linguine Alfredo. Comes with salad and garlic knots and cannolis. 46 bucks and serves four. We didn't make a dent in it so lots left for several lunches. Excellent chix parm better than most places. Ceasar dressing is excellent and of course the creamy Alfredo was fabulous. 46 bucks doesn't get mcds for a family of four. I was heavily considering a 4 star review after tasting the Caesar salad and fried mozzarella, but it was all down hill from there. Due Amici is a very cute local spot in Cinnaminson, but unfortunately the food is just not up to par. The bread basket was served with a delicious spice packed oil, but the bread was cold. That's not necessarily reasons to deduct to points, but I do prefer a warm bread. As mentioned before, the Caesar was phenomenal. It was over-dressed which I don't typically love, but the dressing was delicious. While, the fried mozz is just premade frozen sticks, they were still cooked to perfection. J got the veggie risotto with a side of meatballs. His plate was very sad looking. The risotto had no color or flavor and the frozen meatballs (again, no color) were served on top of his risotto without sauce after specifically asking for them to be served as they are intended (on the side with sauce). I was planning to get the chicken parm, but after reading other reviews of it, I just couldn't bring myself to do it, so instead I got the penne with vodka sauce and chicken.....I shouldn't have gotten that either. The sauce wasn't bad, but the penne was extremely bland, the chicken was slimy and chewy, and to top it off, raw tomato was thrown in, ew. To round out the experience, we had to try to dessert, hoping it would be the saving grace. I ordered a cappuccino and tiramisu and J got cheesecake. The cappuccino was even hard to stomach. The color of it looked like cement and had no flavor. The tiramisu was OK, but the cheesecake was just sad. It was about the size of two bites and tasted like the sugar was forgotten. While we had a lovely date night with lots of laughs, we will never be returning here. read more

It's a shame, because we have been coming to this place for 10+ years. But the quality of the food we ate yesterday was so poor I feel like I have to write a review. Our family celebrated Mother's Day a day early to beat the rush. We were one of two parties when we arrived, and it felt like our order took forever. I ordered the seafood involtini which used to be amazing. Yesterday it was over cooked and full of stuffing. I literally picked through my involtini to find the tiny shrimp and scallops and ended up with a full plate of breading. My dad had a different dish and today said he was craving pasta again today because the pasta he had yesterday wasn't any good. Also, they advertise as being able to make most items on the menu as vegetarian or vegan. This is not true. The marinara sauce contains dairy, so it automatically isn't vegan. And they don't have any vinaigrettes without dairy either. My sibling is vegan, and they said the only sauce they could do was garlic and oil and add veggies. When their order came out, it was just penne with garlic and oil. No veggies. So they had noodles for dinner and a dry salad. For the price, the quality of the meals we ordered was definitely lacking. And to be fair, I didn't tell the waiter about my dinner being over cooked. But if I had sent it back, what was I going to eat? My grandmother asked them for a different vegetable because she doesn't like green beans. She didn't get her replacement spinach until the end of the meal. read more

I am not from the area, so finding the location of the restaurant was a little hard to find (you have to go through another restaurant's parking lot to get to Due Amici). We had a rehearsal dinner here and it was incredible! The food was so delicious, and the staff was amazing.

Very nice meal this Friday. Service was attentive, and courses were timed perfectly. We were not rushed, and had an unhurried meal, with just enough time for conversation between courses. The appetizer bruschetta was massive and was much too much for the two of us. The soup of the day (escarole vegetable) was delicious. The Caesar salads were fine with very fresh crisp lettuce, plenty of egg, but were perhaps a bit bland for my taste. My wife had a beautifully prepared sea bass over pasta. She stated it was fantastic. I had the "off menu" lamb chops (6), which were beautifully arranged over garlic mashed and vegetables. While not a whole rack, there was more than enough for me and I took home 2 chops. The lamb was fabulous, and cooked to my order. The dessert menu looked enticing, but neither my wife nor I had any room for coffee or dessert at the end of the meal. Not sure why we haven't gone there more often, but Due Amici will go onto our regular rotation. read more

Not sure how I managed not to review this place beforehand but here I am now. I have been to Due Amici at least a dozen times and the food is always fantastic. I wanted Italian the other day, so we decided to head to Due Amici again. Upon arrival we were asked if we had a reservation. Usually, we do. My hubs convinced me we didn't need one on a Tuesday evening. The restaurant wasn't packed when we got there, but the dining area where we were filled up pretty fast. We placed our orders quickly and enjoyed the variety of complimentary breads and olive oil. Our calamari appetizer arrived. I was surprised by the size of the appetizer since we had ordered calamari during previous visits and couldn't even finish the serving with two people. We scarfed down the new calamari app with no problem. Next up were our side dinner salads. They were tasty. On to our entrees. I had the crab and lobster ravioli and my hubs had the seafood involtini. My entree was exquisite. The flavors from the sauce and the small pieces of crab were soooo delicious. My husband like his seafood involtini and really enjoyed the pasta side dish. We didn't have room for dessert, so our dining experience was cut short. We highly recommend Due Amici if you are in need of some authentic Italian food. read more

I highly recommend the panko caprese salad. Very fresh and delicious and a great start to a wonderful meal. For dinner my boyfriend and I shared cioppino and seafood involtini. Out of these two I preferred the seafood involtini. It is kind of a weird combination-pasta and pastry and cream sauce. But it works! It's very rich and filling as one could imagine but it's excellent. Cioppino was good, I just wish it wasn't so mussel intensive. I'm more of a shrimp and clam person myself but this was mussels for days. Still very good I just don't think I'd get it again. For really good Italian close to home I will certainly be back to Due Amici. read more

Due Amici Italian Grill has definitely done me good! My first experience was for a friend's birthday and I had such a great time that I suggested it for a group get together a few weeks later. Once again, not only did I leave happy and content, but so did the entire group! During my first experience, our fairly large group sat inside a private room. We passed around an assortment of appetizers that I thought were tasty. For my entree, I ordered the Crab Cakes which were excellent. They were huge and 100% crab meat, no filler. They came with a generous amount of grilled vegetables which were also very good. I especially liked the potatoes! During my second visit, our smaller party ordered the Crab Dip as an appetizer. It was delicious! It was of a generous portion and served with warm pita bread which was great to scoop up the dip. We all devoured it. For my entree this time I ordered one of their specials - capellini tossed in pomodoro sauce and topped with shrimp, scallops and crab meat. The pasta was great, but even more than that, the seafood was outstanding. Others at the table ordered the Filet Minon with Gorgonzola, Grilled Salmon, Chicken Parmesan and Zucchini Cakes - all were a hit. Since the portions were huge, a few of us ended up taking boxes home, which I'm sure made for some fantastic leftovers (or at least mine definitely did)! Although the inside of the restaurant isn't anything to speak highly of, I really enjoyed sitting outside. The table we were seated at was large and spacious, perfect for our group to have lots of conversation while enjoying the outdoors. Our waitress was a gem and was so patient with us as we took our time placing our orders. There is a cute pond and beautiful flowers outside which make it a very relaxing atmosphere. Since the restaurant is BYO, we were promptly brought an ice bucket to store our bottles of champagne. So happy to have discovered Due Amici in Cinnaminson, and I'm looking forward to more visits. This is a great place for date nights or get togethers with family and friends. I'm sure I'll be returning again soon and can't wait to try more of their homemade Italian dishes! read more

Unfortunately, Dan P. is not a people person if he is not benefitting or profiting from a situation or a client. I understand they had amazing reviews on the bridal circuit, but all of the credit for that goes to Erika. Do yourself a favor and don't book them for a catered event or patronize their establishment. If something goes wrong and you have to deal with Dan, prepare yourself....he's hard headed. My daughter booked a wedding package with them earlier this year for October. Then covid reared it's ugly head. A lot happened, including the closure of the wedding venue which was also the place my daughter met her fiance and also got engaged. It was a hard hit to both the bride and groom, but they decided to move ahead with a "minimony" and a small dinner reception with immediate family. All of the vendors my daughter was working with were thrilled to work with her and continue to support her with her plans, for the most part, adjusting their packages and pricing to suit her needs. Not the case for Due Amici. Dan told us we had one of two choices: (1) Reschedule for next year or (2) find a venue for this year, reduce the number of guests to 50 and pay a $1600 upcharge for the service. WHAT??? We put down a $3000 non refundable (not non transferable) deposit and were hoping he could do a dinner for 30 people (approxomate cost $900) or at the very least offer us a small discount on a dinner party package at the restaurant. We offered to take great care of our servers for the night. Dan would have no part of it. We were given the 2 options and that was it. Well guess what....keep that 3K and enjoy it. We found another spectacular Italian restaurant to have our celebration . I truly hope Dan's attitude does him in. I'll never patronize his restaurant again, and you better believe I'm spreading the word. read more

Yikes. Unfortunately, we so wanted to love this place, as we recently moved to Riverton and are on the hunt for good restaurants. Things started off OK with service and the bread was warm. However, the food is just terrible, and the presentation is even worse, particularly given the heavy pricing. I will say my husband and I went right for our favorites - fried calamari, chicken francaise, and chicken parm. Perhaps the pasta dishes are better and, for that reason, I won't completely discount this spot. It will, however, be a while until I am back. read more

If you're looking for a great meal with attentive staff and timely service, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. We have been long time patrons since they first opened, (dining in and catering) but it is not what it used to be. The quality and service has really took a dive. We recently dined in for a special birthday dinner. First off, the soup and salad took a half hour to get to us. They did have a larger party in there, but they had left before we received our starters. The "cream of chicken" soup was watery and tasteless, the scallops special appetizer tasted like they hadn't cooked the alcohol off. We did not complain to server about the food during our visit and would've given them a second chance had we not had the encounter we did with the manager. When we finally received everything we had ordered by hour 2 we asked for our check. Our server brought it back and then went MIA again. After another wait, we decide to go up to front to pay and question a few mystery charges on our bill. We had 4 people (2 children) sub out sides, but our server only mentioned 1 of them being an up charge. We were charged $8.99 (yes, almost NINE DOLLARS) for vegetables instead of potatoes. Again, this was not an additional side, this was a sub for potatoes! We were also charged $3.99 for fries instead of mashed for the toddlers we paid full adult entree price for. They also added a $4.99 "open fee?" Was that to open a wine bottle at a byob? We still don't know. When we brought concerns to the manager she was defensive and RUDE. Utterly unprofessional. She claims every table gets two hours for meals to come out. Of course you'll take two hours if enjoying company and a bottle of wine, but she tried to justify it always taking two hours for food to come out! Due to the attitude and arrogance of this particular manager, we will never return. They lost a loyal longtime customers. There are MUCH better byo options in Collingswood alone! read more

Our dinner at Due Amici was excellent and the service was fabulous and friendly. My husband, father in law and I really enjoyed our meals (Chilean sea bass special, baked Mahi Mahi and Chicken Angelo), plus some great appetizers. I've had better at this restaurant both service, taste, and valuewise. When we had ordered, it was a good 25 minutes until we received our food. No apologies nor were we given a time frame as to how long it would be. Luckily salad was served with all of our meals or we would have been starving. I had substituted another pasta dish than the one on the menu. The Torrtellini was $17.99 on the menu and so when I selected the Cappellini, I was charged $19.99 for it. Funny, b/c I would have thought that the tortellini would have been more time consuming to make. When the food had come out, the 2 other diners I was with indicated that their food was mediocre and the chicken I had ordered with my dish had not come out. The server finally noticed this and went back to the kitchen however came out w/ nothing. One of the mgrs then came and asked about everything and I said it would be ok if I had my chicken that the server had not come out with. When I finally ate my complete meal, it wasn't anything to rave about like it was before. The gorgonzola sauce tasted like it was out of a jar. Didn't have a kick to it like gorgonzola usually does. I would have been better off with soemthing from a jar to tell you the truth. All in all, we weren't thrilled and won't go back again. The prices are a lot different from before (looks like they have new management and are trying to put a new spin on things). I used to recommend people to go there for catering, weddings, and for showers (we had my gfs shower here last year and it was terrific all around), but not anymore. This used to be my favorite Italian restaurant to go to, but now I will have to find another one since this falls flat from how great they used to be. Bottom line, don't waste your time or money. We came here on Christmas Eve, a party of 13. Covid switched things up for our family, we usually get together with a very large crowd so this was something different for us. The gentleman who showed us the table was nice, and very nice ambience. It's pretty dim in there but I like that! I thought the food was delicious. The only reason I gave four stars was our server, Jack. I feel bad saying that because he's young, but I feel like with this kind of restaurant he needs to step his game up a little bit. Had a personality of a wet mop, Not personable at all. He said we could make substitutions for anything but the substitutions we made he just charged us for extra sides and gave the dish in original form. maybe he gets by in life with his good looks, can't blame him! This place is a hidden treasure, I had to loop around through shopping center parking lots to get to this place. Even then, I went into the wrong little street for the parking lot. It looks like any ordinary house and the main entrance isn't very obvious, but that doesn't matter. What matters is the delicious and plentiful food. After being seated, we got water and a bread basket. We started off with the stuffed mushrooms. The crabcake was filled with lump crab meat. There was no filler, so the moment you cut into it, all the lump crab meat would fall apart. It was so good on a bed of sweet roasted peppers and garlic roasted spinach. Just talking about it is making me salivate. The aroma was just amazing. The three of us got pasta dishes, rigatoni with meat sauce, cappellini with pomodoro sauce and jumbo shrimp in fradiavolo sauce with linguini. The fradiavolo sauce had just the right amount of heat and there were just enough sauce with tomato chunks on my linguini. I was the only one who finished my plate. As always, Italian food is reasonably priced and good amount of food. read more
