Rustic Grille is one of those places that keeps you coming back. The menu is absolutely massive, so I swear I read it five times every visit before deciding what to order. One thing you have to do is ask about the homemade soups. They rotate through around 200 different recipes throughout the year, and every one I've tried has been outstanding. If the tortellini soup is available, don't even think twice--order it. It's that good. This visit I went with the three burger sliders and fries for $11, and it was another winner. The sliders were juicy, cooked perfectly, and the fries reminded me of crispy boardwalk fries. Simple, but done right. They also have an incredible selection of sandwiches, so there's something for just about everyone. During COVID, Rustic Grille was one of the places our family relied on for great takeout meals, and they've been consistently excellent ever since. The staff and waitresses are always friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. If you're looking for a local spot with great food, huge portions of variety, and some of the best homemade soups around, Rustic Grille deserves a visit. read more

Meh, at best. Ordered lasagna while my girlfriend ordered a veggie sandwich. She asked for it to be roasted, it was not. Probably because they were late bringing everything out. I had to wait 20 minutes to get my salad and even longer for the bread after several reminders. When my lasagna finally came out, it was covered with cheese. Now I love cheese but not when it is the main ingredient. Best part of the meal was the bread and that was plain at nest. read more

Food, as always, was great! We have gone here for years and have never had a bad meal.

Came here for dinner and am not usually in this part of NJ. It seems most customers are locals and returning ones at that(good sign) The service was great, was told to sit where ever we wanted and someone took our order quickly. ordered an app and pasta entrees and they were delivered in timely fashion. The owner who i pre-summed was a man walking around also collecting empty plates had good energy and added to the good experience. The restaurant itself was on the mai road and had tons of parking. Inside also had a good ambiance for a relaxed casual dinner or lunch. Now for the food. As others reviews have mentioned - the portions are big! I can eat and still had to bring some togo containers. Had some bomb fries to start and they were perfect to my liking of cheese/bacon amount and a good price. The pasta dishes come with good sized cups of soup which was delicious as well as bread which was a lot and tasted fresh. The Pasta and chicken i ordered were great and i liked the good amount of cheese melted on with spinach. Couldn't have asked for better. read more

Rustic has the absolute best salads. They're crisp, flavorful, and full of delicious meats and/or veggies. I love the taco and turkey BLT especially. Their garlic rolls are also excellent. I've enjoyed everything I've ever ordered here. read more

I literally love this place! The food is amazing, the people are friendly, and I always get my food in a good timely manner! This place must have some great management happening! Great job to whoever is in charge! read more

Great food, great waitresses, fast service. If it's hard to find a place the whole family can agree on, this is your spot. We have been going here for years and the food is great time after time. read more

The cafe club sandwiches my husband and I got were delicious. The buffalo chicken sandwich my granddaughter's boyfriend got was good. The creamy chicken rice soup my granddaughter got was okay. Te mac and cheese my great granddaughter got was soupy. The restaurant was very busy, there was one (1) waitress, a young boy delivering drinks, and a young lady decorating the register by just standing by it. Why wasn't she busing tables, seating people, generally helping. read more

The Chicken Ramona and Veal Parmesan with linguine along with garlic bread was the best I've had in a long time. The quality and quantity Outstanding! The service was excellent, our waitress with a packed full house was on her game. You can tell she loves her job and you got service with a smile and asking if we were ok and or do we need anything. The environment was amazing truly a Rustic Italian restaurant and very clean. I will mention that it is one busy restaurant. We got there noontime and left 2:30 and it was empty. I would go back for sure but to avoid the crowd I'll plan late noontime, yes! read more

Went for a Quick Friday night dinner. 1/2 the tables were not occupied so we got there at a good time. Got seated and drinks and menus right away. Then 20 minutes later we still had no one come around to take our order. Four tables all around us got seated and orders taken. Still no service. So, we decided to leave. The girls at the counter didn't seem to care. The food has never even been that great, but it was a convenient stop. Never again! read more

For all you pizza lovers out there like myself, I find it difficult to find places that offer personal pizza, and especially personal pizza that not only tastes great, but is actually affordable to eat. Along with pizza they offer an amazing lunch menu full of appetizing choices that are amazingly delicious and good to eat also. I suggest you find out for yourself by ordering online. In person, or simply sitting down and being promptly serviced by a live person, not a kiosk. Great food, great service, great prices, and nice atmosphere, who can ask for anything better. read more

Very consistent, good quality food - I recommend most their salads, always solid portions. In particular, their Bruschetta Chicken Salad or their Fresca Caprese Salad with Prosciutto. On my most recent reason my mom had a Seafood special over pasta with Arugula that was very tasty and fresh. I also judge an Italian joint by its soup and I always enjoy their Chicken Pastina, and they had a great Beef Barley today. Also very much appreciate the great service from Vickie! read more

The food was amazing, we ordered the cheese fries with cheese whiz and it was amazing, we also ordered onion rings which were very good, the Mac n cheese wedges were absolutely to die for and would recommend them 10/10 and I got the bacon cheeseburger, lots of bacon and the meat was cooked very well and for 9.95 it was well worth it, my mom got the cheesesteak hoagie and she said it was a very good cheesesteak hoagie and and said it was so packed and well worth the money which for 11.50 and it's packed, talk about a bang for your buck, my dad got the meat lovers pizza turnover and he said it was very good and for 13.95 it was well worth it and the atmosphere inside the restaurant was giving off great vibes and would for sure recommend this place to anyone looking to get they're monies worth in food and a good time read more

New review because I tried something new on the menu! I am the type of person who sticks with my classics (greek turkey wrap) but decided to go out on a limb! Every now and then we order from Rustic for my work lunch. There's always 15+ orders and I've never heard of them messing anything up!! This time, I got the Antipasto salad. I also decided to do oregano vinaigrette on the side. I've never had a salad from here so I was excited. It was absolutely delicious!! I literally loved it and it was so filling!! The meat was fresh and delicious and lettuce to topping ratio was perfect. The dressing was DELICIOUS and I recommend it with this salad! I also got it with no tomatoes. Todd runs a great place! the food is fresh, homemade, reasonably priced, and in my mind, the best in the area everything you order from here is freshly made and spectacular - I have been a long time customer and refuse to go anywhere else in the area try it and you'll love it - portions are huge and prices are great - and the fact that it is homemade, seals the deal for me Brent read more

My husband and I supported RG during the Pandemic with take-out orders once or twice monthly. We always tip the servers at least 20-30%. Today I used the online ordering for the first time. I placed an early order. My credit card was charged immediately. The confirmation email stated that the restaurant was closed and that the order would be accepted once the restaurant opened. On route for pickup, I saw an email that the order was canceled and that I would be refunded. I called RG to question why this happened. I didn't receive a clear explanation. Perhaps it was because the young lady who took my call was too busy laughing. Nonetheless, I ordered the pizza. After I paid for it, I checked it before returning home. The pizza was folded over on one side. I had ordered mushrooms. They were sparce, to say the least and not worth the $2.50 extra. I am livid that this is the way I was treated. My husband and I have been beyond loyal to RG. I need to rethink if it is time to end the relationship. read more

We love the Rustic Grille! The food is always fresh and the staff are so friendly and caring. Don't think twice about going here.

Nasty chicken: strong smelling chicken. I'm not sure if it was bad, freezer burnt, or from a bad supplier but it was the most disgusting chicken I've ever had in my life. Such a strong smell. Very dry and clearly not fresh. This place needs a health inspection read more

Cold pizza delivered. Not even warm. Very rude customer service. I will never order from here again and i strongly urge you not to as well.

Most delicious meal I have had in my life. I will definitely be going back. Great staff

Their chicken pastina is just like my Nanny's. If you are feeling sick, go get some you will back in fighting shape in no time! Their pizza is pretty good too, but just go down the road to Riviera for the best pizza in all of south jersey. Great place for lunch or low key dinner and perfect for families with kids! read more

My parents' go lunch place in town. The staff is friendly and down to earth and the food is always satisfying.

Around 1 pm on a Saturday, Mom and I were looking to grab lunch and quick. She suggested this place as we both have not been here. Maybe 5 tables sat. 3 servers. Not busy. Huge menu selection. Our server came over, wasn't very engaging. Took our order. The steak fries came out first..but the other server had them and delivered to the table in front of us. I saw. That chick said she didn't order them so the server took them back. They waited a minute and then my server took them over to me. I was too hungry to care at this point. Then the main meal comes out. Mom got a turkey cobb salad with bleu cheese. I ordered the Cuban Pork panini. Server came over with a salad and a wrap. Really?? Twice now you've delivered wrong food/ wrong table. The servers were looking bored and still nothing came out smoothly. And to be honest, I should have taken whatever that wrap was because the Cuban Pork was gross. Grayish looking pork that you couldn't bite through!! My mom looked at me and asked how it was and I just shook my head No. I was happy I got a side of fries because even the chips that came with the sando were stale. Would I come back, nope. read more

On 6/4 we ordered Pizza Steaks for dinner (pick up). When I got back to the house, they were less than expected; so I took them back to the store. The young kids working the counter really had zero Customer Service skills, didn't give a refund, and re-made the same POOR quality sandwiches. So I ordered PROPER Pizza Steaks from Tony G's across the street, an extra $26 to my already $56 dinner. Then, in speaking with Todd the manager of Rustic today, he had the same "Care Less" attitude as the children working for him. Very sad, as it's usually a good spot. I may stick with Tony G's! read more

You lost a 25+ year customer tonight. When asked how my meal was I stated it was unsatisfactory and my waitress responded with: it must be ok cause you are eating it. I am a 40 to 50% tipper....always. I gave a 5 person crew $100 to split at the beginning of the pandemic without so much as a thank you. I even supported this place when rodents were found in their take out. bubye! read more

Our favorite go-to place in Medford for a variety of different salads. I don't think we've had anything we didn't like here. I particularly love the oriental chicken salad! The salads come with either a roll or garlic bread, which is a large loaf of bread and very tasty, but I've been opting out... carbs are my weakness!! I'll give you a quick list of the dishes/meals we enjoy, but really I don't think you can go all that wrong... the cafe club, oriental chicken salad, sesame chicken wrap, Cuban pork panini, bruschetta salad (although the balsamic dressing is WAY too thick)... I usually call in on my way home from work to pick up food, as there is no delivery unfortunately. There are booths and tables to sit at, which resemble any normal pizzeria/deli/diner type seating. Clean, comfy and not dressy -- not for a date night, but good for lunch and an easy good bite for a casual dinner. A solid go-to! read more

My families' favorite place to eat when we are in Medford. Great staff, great service and great food!

The food is excellent and anything you order will be delicious. However, I ordered a take out order from the online website menu. Prices start at $7.95 for a plain Wich I ordered a small with onions and pepperoni up charging to about $11. I also ordered a small The Works pizza starting at $10. After tax I expected my order to be $22/$23 dollars. It was $29 and some change. When I showed the hostess where I got the prices from and she looked appalled like I said offensive. She scurried away to get the manager. Typical Tony with a chip on his shoulder like I made the website. I got some of my money back but not as much I should have received. He asked me if I understood I should not have ordered the pizza like that. Or from that menu online. It was my fault he didn't proof read his menu before allowing it to be posted online with wrong information and wrong prices. Regardless of the managers mind numbing logic, the food is delicious!! And the prices are not bad. I was just dumbfounded that he wanted to blame the customer for wrong prices being posted. It made him a little pissy that I had the menu still on my phone from where I ordered. The food is impeccable!! read more

From start to finish my experience at Rustic is always great. I'm so used to picking up food from places where they rush me on the phone and mess up the orders. The girl who answered the phone was super friendly and read everything back to me to ensure it was correct. The food was DELICIOUS. Nobody makes a good salad around here in my opinion and Rustic kills it every single time. Chicken pastina soup is my favorite. read more

Hands down one of the best places in Medford. The salads are big and there are so many dressings and toppings to choose from! They have everything from sandwiches to pizza and pasta and salads, you're sure to find something tasty! There have been a couple of order mistakes when calling for takeout so be sure to check that your order is correct before driving all the way home but they are very accommodating if there has been a mistake. read more

I give 3 stars for the food. Nothing really impressed me. But 5 stars would go towards the service they have there. All the girls are really friendly hardworking and took care of their tables well. I ordered the taco salad with no meat and cheese and asked to add in extra veggies in and it was no cost. But the salad tasted blah to me and I could def make something better at home. Standard American-italian type of food nothing to hype over as from a vegetarian perspective at least. Their menu was very large and reminded me of an upscale local pizza shop pretty much. Good place for a cheap eats! read more

Fast take-out. Fast eat-in. Friendly staff. And great food. Seriously, we've had about six sandwiches here, salads (and being a vegetarian I'm picky about my salads), a few entrees and pizza here - and it's all great. In an area where there are so very many takeout italian restaurants, it's nice to be able to get something other than pasta, pizza and eggplant parm-type sandwiches (they have it all though). You can literally find something for everyone on this menu - they have quesadillas, paninis, wraps, extensive pasta selection, etc. Our traditional selections are the vintage veggie and cuban pork paninis, along with an order of the yummy steak-cut fries. If it's take out, it's usually ready in 15 minutes, and still hot and fresh by the time we get home 10 minutes after. If it's eat in, we can dash in after the gym and be back home before an hour is over. You really can't go wrong here for a quick, casual meal. read more

I came in for a quick salad to go. I ordered the antipasto salad with bacon vinaigrette dressing. The salad was good, a pretty standard antipasto salad. I was surprised and impressed with the dressing. I had never had bacon vinaigrette dressing, and I will definitely be trying it again in the future. I half expected it to be thick and greasy, but it wasn't. It had a solid bacon flavor without feeling like you just drenched a salad lard. The service wasn't great. The person I interacted with had a sneer every time we interacted. I'll try more soon enough. read more
