Rustic Grille is one of those places that keeps you coming back. The menu is absolutely massive, so I swear I read it five times every visit before deciding what to order. One thing you have to do is ask about the homemade soups. They rotate through around 200 different recipes throughout the year, and every one I've tried has been outstanding. If the tortellini soup is available, don't even think twice--order it. It's that good. This visit I went with the three burger sliders and fries for $11, and it was another winner. The sliders were juicy, cooked perfectly, and the fries reminded me of crispy boardwalk fries. Simple, but done right. They also have an incredible selection of sandwiches, so there's something for just about everyone. During COVID, Rustic Grille was one of the places our family relied on for great takeout meals, and they've been consistently excellent ever since. The staff and waitresses are always friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. Came here for dinner and am not usually in this part of NJ. It seems most customers are locals and returning ones at that(good sign) The service was great, was told to sit where ever we wanted and someone took our order quickly. ordered an app and pasta entrees and they were delivered in timely fashion. The owner who i pre-summed was a man walking around also collecting empty plates had good energy and added to the good experience. The restaurant itself was on the mai road and had tons of parking. Inside also had a good ambiance for a relaxed casual dinner or lunch. Now for the food. As others reviews have mentioned - the portions are big! I can eat and still had to bring some togo containers. Had some bomb fries to start and they were perfect to my liking of cheese/bacon amount and a good price. The pasta dishes come with good sized cups of soup which was delicious as well as bread which was a lot and tasted fresh. The cafe club sandwiches my husband and I got were delicious. The buffalo chicken sandwich my granddaughter's boyfriend got was good. The creamy chicken rice soup my granddaughter got was okay. Te mac and cheese my great granddaughter got was soupy. The service was excellent, our waitress with a packed full house was on her game. You can tell she loves her job and you got service with a smile and asking if we were ok and or do we need anything. Very consistent, good quality food - I recommend most their salads, always solid portions. In particular, their Bruschetta Chicken Salad or their Fresca Caprese Salad with Prosciutto. On my most recent reason my mom had a Seafood special over pasta with Arugula that was very tasty and fresh. Every now and then we order from Rustic for my work lunch. There's always 15+ orders and I've never heard of them messing anything up!! This time, I got the Antipasto salad. I also decided to do oregano vinaigrette on the side. I've never had a salad from here so I was excited. It was absolutely delicious!! I literally loved it and it was so filling!! My husband and I supported RG during the Pandemic with take-out orders once or twice monthly. We always tip the servers at least 20-30%. Today I used the online ordering for the first time. I placed an early order. My credit card was charged immediately. The confirmation email stated that the restaurant was closed and that the order would be accepted once the restaurant opened. On route for pickup, I saw an email that the order was canceled and that I would be refunded. I called RG to question why this happened. I didn't receive a clear explanation. Perhaps it was because the young lady who took my call was too busy laughing. Nonetheless, I ordered the pizza. After I paid for it, I checked it before returning home. The pizza was folded over on one side. I had ordered mushrooms. They were sparce, to say the least and not worth the $2.50 extra. I am livid that this is the way I was treated. The young kids working the counter really had zero Customer Service skills, didn't give a refund, and re-made the same POOR quality sandwiches. Our favorite go-to place in Medford for a variety of different salads. I don't think we've had anything we didn't like here. I particularly love the oriental chicken salad! The salads come with either a roll or garlic bread, which is a large loaf of bread and very tasty, but I've been opting out... carbs are my weakness!! I'll give you a quick list of the dishes/meals we enjoy, but really I don't think you can go all that wrong... the cafe club, oriental chicken salad, sesame chicken wrap, Cuban pork panini, bruschetta salad (although the balsamic dressing is WAY too thick)... I usually call in on my way home from work to pick up food, as there is no delivery unfortunately. There are booths and tables to sit at, which resemble any normal pizzeria/deli/diner type seating. The food is excellent and anything you order will be delicious. However, I ordered a take out order from the online website menu. Prices start at $7.95 for a plain Wich I ordered a small with onions and pepperoni up charging to about $11. I also ordered a small The Works pizza starting at $10. After tax I expected my order to be $22/$23 dollars. It was $29 and some change. When I showed the hostess where I got the prices from and she looked appalled like I said offensive. She scurried away to get the manager. Typical Tony with a chip on his shoulder like I made the website. I got some of my money back but not as much I should have received. He asked me if I understood I should not have ordered the pizza like that. Or from that menu online. It was my fault he didn't proof read his menu before allowing it to be posted online with wrong information and wrong prices. Regardless of the managers mind numbing logic, the food is delicious!! And the prices are not bad. I was just dumbfounded that he wanted to blame the customer for wrong prices being posted. Seriously, we've had about six sandwiches here, salads (and being a vegetarian I'm picky about my salads), a few entrees and pizza here - and it's all great. In an area where there are so very many takeout italian restaurants, it's nice to be able to get something other than pasta, pizza and eggplant parm-type sandwiches (they have it all though). You can literally find something for everyone on this menu - they have quesadillas, paninis, wraps, extensive pasta selection, etc. Our traditional selections are the vintage veggie and cuban pork paninis, along with an order of the yummy steak-cut fries. If it's take out, it's usually ready in 15 minutes, and still hot and fresh by the time we get home 10 minutes after. If it's eat in, we can dash in after the gym and be back home before an hour is over. You really can't go wrong here for a quick, casual meal. read more

I came in for a quick salad to go. I ordered the antipasto salad with bacon vinaigrette dressing. The salad was good, a pretty standard antipasto salad. I was surprised and impressed with the dressing. I had never had bacon vinaigrette dressing, and I will definitely be trying it again in the future. I half expected it to be thick and greasy, but it wasn't. It had a solid bacon flavor without feeling like you just drenched a salad lard. The service wasn't great.
