I would have to say that Cibo is my go-to pizza place in the area. I prefer Cibo over all the others. The prices and selection of items makes each order a pleasurable one. I have devoured the pizza, garlic knots, pizza bread, kids chocolate covered ice cream, a special chicken and broccoli dish made for my wife, and other items that were delicious. To me, the sauce is what stands out to me the most over other restaurants. The sauce is sweet and reminds me of when I ate pizza near Rome. The pizza had the perfect proportion of cheese to crust and was more along the thin side when thinking of a pie. The inside is rather small, so it is best to order it as take-out. They are not open on Mondays, so don't expect a delivery on this day, lol. I will continue to order out from Cibo as I always do :)

Excellent takeout pizza and salads. We ordered the margarita pizza, pizza bread and the Caesar salad! All were excellent! You can also order chicken fingers or pasta. Note: There's only room for 8 people to dine in.

First time at Cibo. The porchetta sandwich was on a big piece of focaccia and had great flavor, although it could have used more pork for the size of the bread. I ordered long hots along with the broccoli rabe and honestly couldn't taste them. Maybe they forgot? I thought the grilled chicken verde on a wheat wrap was good. The espresso was great that they get from Italy. The owner is from Napoli and was very personable along with the other staff. Plenty of dessert to choose from, cakes, cheesecakes and italian parfaits that come in glass cups. The lemoncello mascarpone cake had nice lemon flavor, but is best when thawed to bring it back to its moist and creamy texture. The coppa caffe had delish coffee flavor with the frozen cream and topped with chocolate covered coffee beans. I will be back.

Cibo by Illiano is a very convenient neighborhood spot to have lunch or breakfast. I like Cibo because the generally offer all of the same pastas and meal options as Illiano's with a few exceptions. I would say that the quality is a little less than the beloved sit down sister restaurant, but it is still good. For lunch I ordered the chicken cutlet panini. It comes with broccoli rabe, red peppers and cheese. I ordered through the online system which was super great and definitely convenient. My order was ready in less than the estimated time and when I picked it up the girl at the counter was really nice. The online system does not allow you to order pizza bread so she gave it to me for free when I arrived. The meal was good, however the sandwich had a little too much broccoli rabe on it for me. I would consider asking for less in the future. Overall my experience was good and I definitely recommend it.

What a disappointment! Tonight my husband and I ordered the porchetta sandwich, fries, and the cibo chopped salad. The sandwich was so fatty my husband actually pulled the meat off and just ate the bread, the fries were ice cold and the salad...well I don't even think you can call it that considering it's basically a container full of chopped apples and grapes. If you are going to order from here do yourself a favor and stick with the pasta.

Incredible food . Fast delivery and very friendly service . I will definitely be ordering from here from now on . So slamming !

I ordered 5 pizzas and a salad for a work event. Everyone loved it. Friendly staff, too. This will be my go-to spot from now on for takeout.

My best friend and I have been wanting to try Femmina since he moved to Medford a year again…read more Finally the situation presented itself and we decided to head there on a Friday night. The parking lot was PACKED and it took a bit to find a spot. We were told there would be a 30 minute wait, which was significantly less than I thought considering they do not take reservations for parties less than 6. We were actually sat in 15 minutes and our server brought us waters and Arnold palmers while we perused the menu and specials. After placing our order, a food runner brought us buttery warm garlic rolls and a different style of crusty bread as well. We decided to start with the arancini ( Italian rice balls) which came with four huge rice balls stuffed with a ground beef bolognese style and served with marinara. Our house salads came with a thousand island style dressing and consisted of chopped romaine, grape tomatoes, and cucumbers. Very basic but the dressing seemed like it could be made in house. For our entrees, I did the limoncello chicken and my best friend did the paparadelle with lobster. Mine had the most decadent lemon cream sauce bathing several chicken cutlets covered in crab meat with melted cheese and a huge mound of capellini. His was covered in chunks of lobster claw meat, mushrooms, prosciutto, and peas with a sherry blush sauce. Both entrees were huge and we took more than half home but everything was delicious. For dessert we opted to share the tiramisu since it's made in house. It had a thin layer of chocolate on top, which made for the most delicious mocha flavor. Our server was wonderful, the place was packed with people celebrating birthdays and everyone sang every time another candlelit dessert was paraded through the dining room. The ambience is cozy and comfortable and I can't wait to go back!

Femmina has a good size lunch menu and the prices were reasonable for lunch, especially with how generous the portions were. Entrees were served with a house salad and complimentary breads that were delicious. Our server was fantastic, she spent a lot of time in Italy and explained that the owners were from the Naples area. Both our dishes were very good and we took some home to eat as left overs for dinner. I would definitely return to Femmina Italian Grill.

We arrived a little over 15 minutes before our reservation and were seated immediately. I love the size of the restaurant. Compact with tables set very close together adds what feels like a small, homey vibe to your dining experience. Our server was outstanding! He brought energy, knowledge of the menu, professionalism, and class. He elevated our experience and may have been the best server we've had at ITA since we've been frequenting. When dining at ITA, like always, we always have to order a variety of dishes to split. We started with a perfectly cooked Oven Roasted Cauliflower appetizer. Split 3 different pastas: a rich & savory Carbonara (probably the star of the night), a gorgeous cavatelli with tender wild boar ragu, and a spicy but balanced capellini with spare ribs. All of their pasta, of course, is made in house and is beautiful and rustic, and is always cooked perfectly Al dente with a great bite. The combination of the creaminess of the sauce, the saltiness and texture of the guanciale, and the doneness of the tagliolini; led us to agree that the Carbonara was our favorite. We were split on the other two, but you can't go wrong with any of the pasta dishes on the menu. We've never had one we weren't blown away by. The entree we chose was a fluke stuffed with shrimp and served over a bed of shiitakes. The crust on the fluke was to die for and the presentation couldn't have been better. ITA is always such an elevated dining experience. You'll be hard pressed to find local, authentic Italian food that is as unique as it is here. There are a couple things we really love about it here other than what I've already mentioned earlier in this review. First, it's great that it's BYO as it helps offset the prices (which are well worth it for the quality of food served) as we can split and enjoy a nice bottle of wine with dinner. Second, the menu is constantly rotating every week and part of their menu highlights and features different regions in Italy. There are always new menu items we've never had before. I'm sure my wife feels the same, but I already cannot wait until we're back dining at ITA101.

If Chef Francis Pascal's name sounds vaguely familiar, this is undoubtedly because he and his wife,…read moreNui, are the proprietors of the immensely popular Birchrunville Store Café. Making its debut in 1999, this charmingly intimate BYOB quickly became critically acclaimed for its sophisticated French-Italian fusion cuisine... L'Olivo Trattoria, the couple's most recent venture, opened for business in October 2025, settling ever-so-comfortably into the space previously occupied by Suburban Brewing Company. L'Olivo, which means The Olive Tree, pays homage to Chef Pascal's Italian roots and his mother's heritage, offering patrons a menu inspired by generations of family recipes and a passion for authentic Italian cuisine. Originally from France, Chef Pascal began his culinary journey with classical French training, later broadening his experience in both France and Italy. In 1989, he brought his culinary expertise to America at the Monte Carlo Living Room in Philadelphia... Joining him as the power behind the stove is Executive Chef Jonathan Amann, formerly of the highly regarded Amani's BYOB in Downingtown. Even without perusing the menu, given the background of the proprietors and the culinary credentials of the dynamic duo holding forth in the kitchen, you can be reasonably certain that the food served at L'Olivo is not going to be typical run-of-the-mill Italian fare. But let me clarify... If your primary predilection leans toward items such as spaghetti & meatballs smothered in marinara, trust me, you have definitely come to the wrong address. The cuisine here is both subtle in approach and sophisticated in style. Culinary creativity is very much in evidence; but it is appetizingly understated, making itself known in an enticing whisper rather than a screeching howl... My dining companion and I lunched here recently and were most impressed. The menu - divided into Antipasto, Salads, Paninis, Pasta, Dessert, and Sides - provided just enough interesting choices to arouse the appetite without befuddling the brain. Since my dining partner loves bread in any way, shape or form, it was no surprise that she went straight for the Mozzarella Stuffed Focaccia garnished with olive oil and fresh herbs. For my part, since I thoroughly enjoy pasta in whatever manifestation it may be presented, the Baked Orecchiette (pictured) pressed all the right buttons. The "little ears" were beguilingly blended with nuggets of pork belly; spatters of spinach, tomato, ricotta, provolone, and mozzarella; and finished with a sprinkling of breadcrumbs. The pasta itself was perfectly al dente, the seasonings superb. A rather straightforward dish, but also quite profound in its simplicity... And utterly delicious. I would hasten to add that, although we did not partake, both the Godfather Burger (smash burger, mortadella, provolone, Calabrian chili aioli, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle on brioche) and the Salmon BLT Burger sounded mighty tempting... Ditto the Grilled Eggplant Panini and Primavera Bucatini (sautéed vegetables, tomato herb broth, house-made bucatini, fresh parmesan). Should you be planning to stop in for lunch, they are certainly worthy of your consideration. In the meantime, my dining companion and I were confronted with a little gastronomic conundrum of our own: choosing dessert(s). The possibilities included a number of the usual suspects - Tiramisu, Cheesecake, Blood Orange Panna Cotta - as well as a tempting Chocolate Crostata (toasted hazelnut tart with salted caramel & chocolate ganache)... Decisions. Decisions... We finally decided to take the down-home route, sharing a Butterscotch Bundt Cake crowned with vanilla gelato. Which, I am happy to add, was a most satisfying conclusion to our afternoon at table. We'll be back for dinner... At which time I will post a complete second review of our dining experience.

I live in NYC and it truly was at the level of fine dining Italian in New York. I had the L'olivo to drink, which is their version of a dirty martini. It was strong and tasty. Loved the blue cheese olives! To start, we shared the caesar salad and stuffed figs. Both were incredible! The presentation of the caesar salad was so unique. I would order both again. For my entree, I had the pasta zucca which is their butternut squash pasta. It was next level. I will dream about this! Every flavor combined together perfectly to make the perfect dish. If you like butternut squash, you will love this. We didn't have room for dessert, but I definitely want to try the tiramisu next time. Can't recommend this restaurant more!

However, the menu got the best of us and we ended up ordering a bunch of little things which ended up being far too much, but definitely in a good way. The space is quirky with a wonderful neo-mod design that is very eye catching and makes great use of the old diner aesthetic of the previous space, while improving upon it a hundredfold by making it much classier but not over the top. It does feel decidedly like a 1960's Italian locale out of a Roger Moore or Sean Connery era Bond film; to great effect. Another thing I loved about the design is that it feels compact but not small. I dislike huge restaurants, and love the family owned vibe, and this space occupies the very nice Goldilocks zone between being 'just right'. The food was good and I will get to that, but what really made our experience was our outstanding, amazing, dare I say...... legendary server, Alice. She was just flat out hands down an all around pro with a great attitude, a kind smile, and a wonderful personality who knew exactly how to keep a table like ours happy, engaged, and ready to come back again. This is something that I feel has been missing in so many places since Covid occurred, and encountering someone as great as Alice just really made the whole time there a notch above. Finally getting to the food, which was obviously delicious, there was nothing that was absolutely mind blowing, but all of it was very unique and extremely well prepared and flavorful. I did like that not everything was tomato-centric on the menu and there was a vast variety of different dishes that match the uniqueness of the space. The highlight for me was the carrot soup, not an every day item, that was nice and heavy with cumin. Brilliant flavors but not too forward, which followed our caprese dip that was an outstanding take on a dish that everyone loves, but is overdone at this point. The bread they are serving here is insanely good; either lightly toasted or grilled quickly on a flat grill, I am not sure, but slathered with high quality olive oil and it's perfectly soft, crispy, crusty, and chewy all at the same time. Testa Rossa is definitely worth checking out, and we only went for a few small plates with the intention of it being a snack. Apparently the family has more than one location, although I am not sure where the others are. If you are near Glen Mills, it is definitely worth the trip to stop in here and give them a try. Oh, and don't forget to pair your food with the super cool espresso martini tower, because you get to choose the flavors, but I'm still sticking with classic as my favorite!
