When we first arrived, we were greeted by a gum-chewing hostess and seated right away, which was fine. It took a few minutes for our waiter, Juan, to come over and take our order. We didn't order any appetizers, so our salads came out quickly. After that, we waited...and waited...and waited. The delay was long enough that the manager came over to ask how everything was and whether we were interested in dessert. I had to tell him that we hadn't even received our meals yet. When the food finally arrived, everyone else enjoyed their dishes--veal parm, chicken franchise, and a few others. I ordered the special, described as a porterhouse pork chop with potatoes, vegetables, and a mushroom cream sauce. Thankfully, I asked for the sauce on the side, because it was very sweet--even the waiter mentioned that. The pork chop itself was cooked the way I like it, but it was not a porterhouse cut. A true porterhouse pork chop should be bone-in with both the tenderloin and loin sections. What I received was more like a pork loin cut, and while it was listed as 16 oz, it didn't appear to be anywhere near that size. Moving forward, we'll likely take a break from Casa

They had a pineapple burrata appetizer special which was something I haven't seen before so that immediately caught my attention. It was a decent size and ate like a salad for my husband and I to share. We got the bubble bread for an appetizer too since we've never had it before. For my entree, I decided on the Chicken Frangelica which gave a sweet and savory flavor. My husband had the butter fish which was tasty. Give them a try if you're in the area. The decor inside was nice and they have an outdoor seating area.

Very tasty bread (I used most of it sopping up my pasta sauce!) I could not NOT get the Pear (pasta) Sacchetti - soooo delicious. A definite go-to for me here - wowee!!! My besties Seafood Manicotti was damned amazing too! Very rich but perfect! We ended our evening with decafs. Our server was lackluster and MIA a lot. The vibe here is nice and the outdoor dining section is beautiful. It's been a while since I've dined here and was hoping for a more positive of an experience than last time. We elected to sit at the bar, my first time sitting at the bar here. We were greeted with baskets of bread and some dipping oil which hit the spot. We started with drinks, of course. My Blood Orange Martini was great, especially if you like sweeter drinks (my fiancé said it was too sweet for her). My fiancé loved her Spritz off of the seasonal cocktail list. We all ordered Nuovo Linguine & Clams, 2 in red and 1 in white. It was beautifully plated with lots of clams (also came with shrimp and clam balls -- the star of the dish), but we all thought the dish itself was bland. This is a dish I've ordered many times in the past and used to love. Maybe an off night or maybe things have changed in the few years since I've dined here. Anyway, after my last two experiences here, I'm not in a rush to come back.

We ordered appetizers, including the mussels, which were incredibly plump with a delicious white wine broth. The calamari had the perfect level of breading and was well seasoned. I ordered the mushroom risotto special which came with asparagus and scallops. It was delicious and again very well seasoned. The scallops were exactly the right texture, not overcooked. The risotto was more toothsome than I'm used to but still very good and went well with the accompanying arugula salad. Other things we ordered were the generously portion salmon, the bolognese and the penne à la vodka. It is spacious but cozy at the same time and everyone was so nice and helpful. This is the kind of service you really don't find anymore and one of the reasons I like coming back to tutti toscani. I ordered the veal which is always good, large lump crab on top. My husband got the trio of pasta but only enjoyed two of the three. The rest of the table raved about the mushroom special almost licking the plate clean - I am not a fans of mushrooms so I'll trust them. Overall I always enjoy coming here, I don't feel like I've been ripped off when the bill hits the table and service is usually good. I do enjoy sitting outside better than inside when able it's a prettier feel to me.

I do not eat seafood and was confused by the fishy smell and presence of meat. Luckily it was a simple cross-table mixup. Furthermore, the mushroom gnocchi was horrible. It was made with pure whipping cream, which is probably a valid Italian approach, but it had to have been 100g of fat, and it tasted like warm thick milk, with no flavor and minimal mushrooms. I felt sick to my stomach the rest of the night. The restaurant was packed and tastefully decorated. They have a great signature cocktail list but I couldn't hear myself or anyone at my table. Average decibel level was 85 through the course of our 90 minute stay. My ears felt raw once I got outside. Lastly, it's a mandatory (and complimentary) valet for parking. Just be prepared. If you like Italian, may be worth a shot. Folks were pleased with oysters and mashed potatoes at my table, but I have no desire to come back.
