Decided to swing over after some errands for a French Onion burger and cheese fries. I placed the order online and I was able to pick it up within 4 minutes of when they texted it was ready. Drive home was less then 5 minutes, and the food was barely warm. Total cost $18, bit pricey for luke warm food. The burger was fine but I think I hyped it up too much in my head. I rarely get burgers so need it to be great. I should have asked for the cheese sauce to be on the side of the fries instead of on top. Again, it was OK. read more

I recently visited the Marlton, NJ Shake Shack and witnessed a man walk his large dog into the store. Several staff members left their posts in the kitchen area to pet the dog. The woman behind the register pet the dog and immediately got back on the register to take an order. At one point, the dog walked behind the counter near the register. I didn't see anyone wash their hands after touching the dog. I left without ordering. This is very unsanitary. read more

I frequent all these local places and when this place first opened up it was much better. After going once last week and once this week, I won't be back again. The entire burger was like soggy full of grease you can barely actually taste the ingredients. Most likely due to poor management not keeping kitchen and grille clean. Also when you first came here people would great you now nobody says a word. The seating is clean but the kitchen can't be with the repetitive extra grease all over the food. Hub got a taste for shack burger while driving back from Blackwood Outlet, I yelped and found Shake Shack of Marlton. I like the fact that it isn't crowded unlike the cherry hill location(it was jammed). Service were very friendly. A bit on the overrated hype monster end of 2016. It's a smash burger with the some options with toppings. Milkshakes are always an easy go to here with the wide straw that makes them easily to sip. Burgers are nothing to write home about but can be just as expensive if not more than most burger places. It's right under Five Guys and above Wayback burgers. Minus one star for upkeep and cleanliness could have been a touch better. There were crumbs on the tables, food smeared on the garbage can etc. That being said, the res was great. It has been a while since I visited a Shake Shack. While I was getting food elsewhere, my family member came out with a milkshake and fries (and a burger) from Shake Shack. My sister tasted the milkshake and said it was delicious, and the fries were steaming hot and fresh, not burnt. We decided to have a shake and fries along with our own meals. The strawberry milkshake was music to my mouth! The fries were quickly devoured. We knew then that the next time we were over that way, we were going with Shake Shack. So glad to have stumbled across a SS during a recent visit to NJ. Traveling with kids often means giving into their desire for MC Donald's which I loathe, but I love me a Shake Shack, and they did too so we were all able to indulge without going multiple places. It's the sauce that got me, I would inject it in my vein like the junkie I am gor it if I vould, but the burgers and dries are awesome too! Just the right amount of char on the outside, yet juicy and full of flavor inside. While I've been to SS that had less than ideal cleanliness this location was spotless. Service was some of the best around and very friendly and efficient. I especially enjoyed conversing with the manager from Brooklyn and cashier from Staten Island. I ordered the shack stack and some fries, and my boyfriend decided to try the new chicken bacon avocado burger. We both also got some shakes. We were both pretty shocked that the total was close to $40. The wait for our food wasn't too long. But we were disappointed to see that the drink area was pretty dirty, with spilled soda that hadn't been cleaned up. You're also limited to the amount of napkins and ketchup that are given to you on your tray as there are no napkin dispensers or condiment dispensers throughout the entire restaurant. Condiments I can almost understand, with covid but napkins?? I had no qualms with my snack stack. The burger was just how I remembered. But my boyfriend was pretty disappointed in his chicken sandwich. The chicken was the size of a small chicken finger, not what you're expecting when ordering a *chicken sandwich*. First few bites were alright, but then it was basically an avocado sandwich as there was so little meat. As I'm writing this he said he's still hungry cause the chicken was so pitiful. After a recent review, the manager contacted me via Yelp and sent me a coupon for a future visit. This was even after I gave them a positive and pretty solid review. When I went off to college there was one on my campus which was a big win!! Every time I go, I get the 'Shroom Burger and Cheese Fries and it never disappoints! It's a fried mushroom with cheese and ShackSauce. I always get no lettuce or tomato. It is always delicious!! I believe I have had a regular burger too and it was good! Stopped in after work as I've never been to one before and it was just ok. Honestly I prefer Five Guys as I feel you get more bang for your buck and the patty just seemed to get lost. I felt like you were paying mainly for the toppings as the patties seem pretty thin. The staff was awesome and everyone seemed energetic and happy to be there. Dont really see it much in chains but we had someone come by a couple time to check on us which is really nice. This trip I got the cheese fries and the shack stack burger. The fries were crispy but the cheese seemed like it was a combo of american and cheddar. I feel like it should be one or the other. You get a cheddar taste but the congealed texture of american which was strange to me. The burger was good but as I previously mentioned I feel like it gets lost after you start eating everything together. The fried cheese stuffed portabella was the star. It brought a cheesy earthiness to the burger which is a flavor I tend to enjoy. If they made a double stack with just the mushroom I'd be down to eat that (and it's a tasty sounding vegetarian option) Like I said nothing bad, but nothing too special if you've been to five guys, smashburger, or in and out. read more

Finally got to try this location. Each time I've tried to come it was too crowded. We ordered single smoke shack burgers which comes with bacon and red pepper spread, bacon cheese fries, a root beer float and a soda. The buns were soft and fresh, the burger was hot and tasty. There was a surprisingly good amount of thick and crispy bacon and gooey, melted cheese to make me feel completely seduced at this point. The fries were hot, crispy and not oily at all. I then called Shake Shack asking what had happened and they said the food got picked up and there was nothing they could do to help. This was a great burger. It was quick, flavorful, and filling. I ordered the burger with the fried onions and cheese fries and I couldn't even eat it all. I thought the burger was cooked to perfection and the staff was very helpful. I am definitely a fan of shake shack and with this facility being on of the newer locations I'm sure they will do well.
