I frequent the Marlton location on 73 and it's alway good. My visit to this Cherry Hill location was awful. I was one of 2 or3 other customers in the store so it wasn't busy. I ordered a double cheeseburger and fries. I realized on my ride home that the fries were soggy. 5 guys in Marlton is always on point with fantastic fries... these were terrible. At home, I realized that my burger had some wrong toppings. I rarely call to complain, but I felt the urge to let them know. I spoke with 2 people that were equally dismissive and offered me another ordere of fries. As I was 15 minues away I politely delcined the offer. They then haggled with me over what they were willing to refund from my order. I also declined a refund and explained that I thought I was doing them a favor telling them about their quality issues. Again, they were dismissive and basically hung up on me. I'm sure I won't have a hard time finding another $18 burger and fries place somewhere else. read more

This 5 guys location was clean and well staffed. Like most chain business these days, the staff was not rude or mean, but they weren't very welcoming or friendly. They did their jobs, so I can't complain. I had a total 5 people with me, there wasn't a line and we placed our order at 1:43 p.m., we got our order at 1:55 p.m. Not a bad wait at all for food that is cooked to order. The burgers were all very good and filling. My son ordered the grilled cheese (first time get a grilled cheese at a 5 guys) luckily to be safe he ordered 2. They were good but not very big. They could have been on the grill longer, the cheese needed to be melted more. We knew better than to order more 1 order of fries, because a large was enough for the 4 of us that wanted fries, 5 guys always gives you plenty of fries! read more

It was a Saturday at 1:30 pm. I placed an online order as I was exiting the Bed, Bath & Beyond across from this Five Guys in an otherwise VERY busy Cherry Hill shopping center. But by the time I walked across the parking lot and entered this location, my order was already waiting for me. Impressive! Now granted, there wasn't anyone else in the restaurant by the time I had arrived, but that is often the case at the Marlton location, and yet I still have to wait. Great customer service! I ordered 3 bacon cheeseburgers and requested they be cut in half. The lady building the burgers said she wouldn't recommend it since I had a lot of toppings. She then provided me plastic knives & forks along with 3 tin foil containers if I decided to cut the burgers. The lady was going beyond what was requested! I get the small double cheeseburger with bacon, friend onions, mushrooms, pickles, jalapeños, & ketchup, Mayo. I also get the small Cajun fries. Five guys is really good, but very greasy!! This is your standard Five Guys. The restaurant been clean for each of the few visits I've made here, and the counter staff always seem nice and friendly. The food certainly comes out hot and fresh, as made-to-order is the Five Guys modus operandus. A couple of times, the cooks always seem to forget to add one of the condiments that I specified on my order. Harmless enough, since I can go back and ask for a little cup of the particular condiment; however, it can be annoying when the cooks are not being attentive even though my visits were during slow non-rush times. Five Guys is by far the best burger I've ever had and I also love their fries and hot dogs. I was dissapointed when the location in Clifton Heights/Springfield, PA on Baltimore Pike closed down, and now the closest one to my house is a few miles further away in Marple on Lawrence Rd. I couldn't be happier though with the service, speed, and consistently delicious food the Marple location has. They're always friendly when I walk in and when I call in an order over the phone. Only negative things about this location is sometimes the music is pretty loud for some reason, and they didn't have an outside spot to eat; for some reason I thought they had a couple tables out front last visit, but we'll see more when the weather gets warmer. read more

Hit or Miss. Depends who's cooking. I've had great burgers and I've had days where I didn't get what I ordered at all. The burgers are good. Fries too. It's a burger joint. You can get what you want on your burger but if they're busy make sure to check your order before you leave. I don't buy drinks or shakes or hot dogs but I see others people seem to like those things and more power to them for it. I've fallen back from 5 Guys in the past 6 months since I've discovered PDQ not far away. Healthier fast food choice is all. I barely set foot into the restaurant that I have eaten at before, before a nasty woman yelled that I couldn't have a dog in here. She took no notice that he IS a service animal, I have his card and decided to cut me off every time I would begin to speak. The other workers were nice enough to say that I am in fact allowed to have a service animal but her RUDE outrage for "this dog can't be in here with people eating" is appalling in a modern, educated era. Service animals are legally permitted with documentation everywhere. They provide a very important service to so many of us. She is a recent arrival to the contiguous U.S. from Puerto Rico in the aftermath of last year's horrendous hurricane season. Food is always good but their masks with the tall blonde older manager on duty were not followed. Their nose was hanging out and the dishwashers and everyone in the back were not wearing anything covering their face. You are a food establishment and things like this should be taken seriously when handling food, I have been in the customer service industry for over 15 years and following health guideline is key to a successful business. I do like five guys but I ordered five guys through grub hub and when it came it was a disaster. It was in a thank you bag that was like really flimsy and all the stuff inside of it was all smashed down because the guy that was delivering it had it in a really flimsy flimsy case it did not hold it well. When it came the burger was all fallen apart and the fries where all smashed. While would recommend five guys I won't recommend ordering five guys through grub hub. read more

Love this place! I always order ahead to cut down on waiting, good thing is they don't make your fries and have them sit... they make it once you come in so it's not soggy.. My first time ever in a Five Guys was here. I know, I know, its arch rival is In N Out, which we have where I live out west. Comparing the two, they are vastly different kinds of atmospheres and food products. Overall, wasn't that impressed with the Five Guys. Not a fan of dirty peanut shells on the floor. I've always been a fan of Five Guys Burgers and Fries. Even through their mass expansion, I feel they have stayed pretty consistent with the burger and fry quality. It always seems clean inside. Somewhat of a cold looking interior, but I usually get my food to go. Besides, if I do eat in, the deliciousness of the burger and fries is all I can focus on. This past meal, was great. Upon returning to the United States after about 1.5 years away, FIve Guys was one of my first meals back. I usually go with a double bacon cheeseburger, but this time I upped the patty count and ordered a triple bacon cheeseburger with pickles, raw onions, jalapenos, mayo, and ketchup. After a couple housr of taking in some tasty adult beverages, we decided to find some solid comfort food. What goes better with drinking than burgers and fries? We got there about an hour before they closed. They didn't seem to mind. I ordered a regular cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, fried onions and bbq sauce. The gf got a little hamburger with lettuce, tomato, pickles, mayo and mustard. We also got a regular side of fries. The food was cooked relatively quickly, which was nice for starving individuals as ourselves. They always give you a heaping portion of fries which I always seem to forget. Next time I'm getting the small. The burger itself was fantastic. Five Guys always do a fantastic job with their burgers. They are cooked well and taste incredible. My burger seemed to be lacking enough BBQ sauce, but overall I couldn't really complain. Nothing beats waiting for your food with free peanuts! read more

Very quick food, not fast food, but quick. They cook to order and the food is fresh and it melts in your mouth. It is absolutely delicious. I have been multiple times and count the hours until my next visit. It is truly fantastic. I love Five Guys. The only con to five guys is that for a burger, fries and a drink it is like $15. That is a good chunk of cash, but it is quite worth it in my opinion. I plan on visiting many more times in the near future. I would recommmend Five Guys when you want good food and you do not have time to sit down and eat a full meal. Quality food overall. I usually don't review chain restaurants. But I used to go to the original Five Guys when I lived in DC years ago, so I figured why not? First off, if you're looking for a healthy alternative to a fast food burger, this is not your place. It tastes a lot better, but is incredibly greasy. I've had delicious, juicy burgers that weren't greasy before, but this is not that kind of place. That being said, the burgers are leagues above fast food. Real beef, not frozen, prepared fresh (not pre-cooked and warmed). The fries are real hunks of potato, not frozen, and are doled out in gargantuan proportions. The soda machine is also one of the fun touch screen ones where you can add all sorts of flavors to a slew of soda options. The tech nerd in me appreciates the novelty of it. I've deducted points for the unnecessary greasiness and the fact that the burgers are a touch overpriced for what you're getting. Still, if I find myself outside of the city and wanting a quick bite, I won't hesitate to stop by Five Guys. read more

Last summer I inquired about their milkshakes and a member of the staff claimed they "had the machine in the back." Here I am almost a year and a half later and the machine is "still in the back." This is the only 5 guys that I go to and here is why: The food is always fresh & delicious, the staff is friendly, it's always clean and most importantly, I've never gotten sick here. I have Celiac disease so I have to be very careful about where I eat and after speaking to the manager on my 1st visit she was knowledgeable about cross contamination and alerted her staff to change their gloves & not let the spatula that touches the buns touch any of my food, etc. I immediately felt at ease but still watched them to ensure everything was done correctly b/c after all it will be me at home sick for days if I get glutened, it was all good. I have visited twice since & each time after explaining my disease to the person taking my order the people in the back did the right thing. It's been a long time since I've been able to eat regular fries other than ones I make at home so I couldn't be more thankful that they take the extra necessary steps to keep me safe. I know most people won't be able to relate to this but when you have to be so careful when you go out to eat and the people don't roll their eyes (it's happened to me so many times) and don't make dumb comments it honestly means the world to us, we don't want to be seen as an inconvenience and here they don't make me feel uncomfortable at all. . read more

First let me say the food is great and the people have always been nice, in person. This bad review is regarding the issues when trying to place a phone order or Internet order. Laying the phone on the counter while I'm on hold and not picking it back up seems to be the trend at this location. Last night I was "put on hold" and after 7 mins I hung up. Why did I wait that long? Because the burgers are incredible, but after the second song I had on ended my appetite was gone. It takes a lot to piss me off (I wait 7 minutes on hold) but the on hold issue and not receiving my net order more than once is crazy. So, here's my beef with this restaurant (no pun intended): Every time I have ever come to this Five Guys location, the people I am with receive exactly what they have ordered. My order always comes out without a topping or two. The prices at Five Guys are fair, and this location is generally pretty quick getting the food out. The burgers are always cooked to perfection and they have the new fancy Coke machines that everyone obsesses over. It's usually pretty clean at this location. The one thing I've noticed is when the floor is wet (from spills, ice melting near the drink machines), they aren't very quick to put a CAUTION sign up. When I was there last night, I noticed the floor was wet. I put one of their caution cones up for them in order to prevent someone from getting injured, thinking that the staff hadn't yet seen the spill (which is fine because we're all human). To my surprise, one of the staff members walked over to the cone and put it back to where they stored it, leaving the floor wet and completely ignoring it. Hopefully this is only the attitude of one staff member and the others aren't as careless. Tsk tsk. read more

So I'm kinda torn here. On one hand, the fresh-cut french fries are probably some of the best you can get without going to a boardwalk. Albeit sometimes they are overly salted depending on the worker/location, the littlest order is $3.19 and has enough for at least 2 people to share. The workers are friendly, all locations are clean. However, the burgers are where they lose points in my book. Are they fresh? Yes. Are they MTO? Yes But honestly, big deal. Fresh 80/20 is $2.19/lb in bulk and has a shelf life of a few days. All burgers should be fresh and MTO in 2018; if you're eating a frozen one, get higher standards; and, this review isn't for you. In addition, every time I go here, I feel as though the prices have increased. It is now over $8 with tax, for a maybe 5oz. of beef, bacon-less "cheese"burger with processed government american "cheese." (I'm using quotes because American "cheese", isn't technically cheese--also, it isn't American). Meaning, if you are one person, the total for a "cheese"burger + little fries order is almost $12, not including a fountain drink. It took me 7 bites to eat the burger. Let's face it, burger competition is stiff. And, when places like Ruby Tuesday's have a 16oz, fresh, ultimate colossal burger/fries for $13, with 4 types of gourmet cheese on it, and local joints like Dom's Tavern in Bellmawr, have a $5 burger & $4 bourbon night, people have options. There is no reason to settle for a puny, over-priced family-picnic style burger when you have the choice of toppings like fresh red onion, varieties of "real" cheeses such as aged cheddar or smoked Gouda, apple-wood smoked bacon, brioche buns, leaf lettuce, real ketchup that doesnt have HFCS, spicy brown mustard instead of hi-liter yellow Heinz from 1956, etc. at dozens of other places within 2 miles. Sorry Five Guys, maybe you should consider me as your Sixth. read more

This is one of our favorite Burger places. The food is always hot and fresh. I highly recommend this location when you are in the area. The only reason I haven't given five stars is because they almost always have the music turned up obnoxiously loud. We've had to take our food and eat in the car several times due to the painfully high volume. We did ask if they could turn it down but to no avail. So, just be prepared to bring ear plugs if you visit this location. read more
