Webers - Pennsauken - Always fun to pull up and park...then order and eat in the car. The toasty buns on the burgers are yummy. The shoestring fries delicious. Hotdogs are good too. Great time to just enjoy some time in the car with friends and family and food. Don't forget the rootbeer or rootbeer floats! #burgers #carhop #webers #rootbeer #floats #hotdogs #hashtagstevej

Rootbeer float and burger

Go there for their root-beer. Their burgers , pork and meats ain't nothing to write home about.

$5 cheeseburger. Looked gray and unappetizing. Taste confirmed it.

Fun to try out on a beautiful sunny summer day. Parked under shade and service was friendly and fast. Why do you come here? Their schtick is that you roll your windows down and they'll plop down a little "shelf" that holds napkins and condiments. They have a very limited menu - fair play to them, they keep it simple. Loved the hot, fresh fries, seasoned perfectly. The service was really nice. However, thumbs down to the burger. It was gray and it looked very unappetizing and tasted bland. That was the first burger I didn't finish (as my waistline can attest to) in years.

Five stars for the root beer float. The burger and fries were fine. My toddler thought it was SO fun, and her review is "so yummy."

I used to go Weber's (though not often) as a kid many years ago, and it is fun to revisit it. The menu is a little different from the Stratford location (no tuna sandwich there). It's reasonably priced. I like that the portions are also reasonable, but if you equate quantity with value you might be disappointed. Burgers are an old-fashioned size--no monster burger here--but taste pretty good. Shakes are good too. And how fun is it to have a carhop? My husband did not grow up here, and he loves the novelty of it and the throwback look. We like to hit up one of the Weber's when we are in South Jersey on errands.

This cute little drive in is such a gem. Amazing root beer, amazing service, and the food is pretty decent too! Just good vibes all around. And a great little experience too. They bring it right up to your car and clip a tray to your window. Love it!

Best Root Beer Floats and milkshakes ever! Enjoy your meal in the comfort of your car while you're served promptly by the friendly wait staff. Great retro drive in.

Drive up food - an old school way to grab a burger

Good 'ol Weber's was and still is a place to enjoy a window side order of fries and soda. It's really more so the experience than the food itself. It's not the type of place you want to get the best burger or sandwich of your entire life but it surely is that spot that is unique. Locals can all agree that if you know the area, then you know or have passed by Weber's for their one of kind drive up service.

We found this spot by accident while driving back to New York from Philly on the night of the Fourth of July. Wow! What an incredible place to eat. The service was the perfect mix of quick and extremely enthusiastic. The waitress should be studied and emulated by every other restaurant. The food was perfect. The root beer float was the best one I ever had. You tasted just the right balance of root beer and ice cream. The burger was incredible too. I am going to make this a destination in and of itself.

We've been going to Weber's Drive In for many years. It's throwback to a different time! As we pulled into the lot, there was a Bryce Harper impersonator. Sometimes it's Elvis Presley. You pull up under an awning. A waitress comes to your car to take your order. The menu is similar to a fast food restaurant but the food is better! There's hot dogs, burgers, grilled cheese, French fries, etc. the hot dogs are really good. The best part is the root beer! It's served in frosted mugs and soooo good! When your order is delivered, the tray is attached to the side of your car. The servers are friendly, food is served quickly. It's a fun experience! You can also take root beer to go in several sizes including a gallon size.

My son and I love it here. He's a picky eater but he always eats when we come here. He loves the chocolate shakes and the root beer. I think it's more about the experience then anything else.

The restaurant was clean, the staff waa friendly and the parking lot is shared by other business, but there are plenty of parking spaces available. Today was that day. I ordered the double char meal with onion rings and chased them with a cookies and cream milkshake and a sweet tea. I know its a franchise, but this one has it standardized. It felt like I was eating at a Habit Burger in SoCal, even though Im in Cherry Hill, NJ. There is no drop off on quality and taste, between the West Coast and East Coast versions. My Habit has been restarted! Lol! My meal was spot on. IMO other Burger joints in the area better not sleep on Habit Burger! When im in Chrrry Hill and crave a good burger, im stopping here! So, after doing a little search, this place popped up. Seems like they have a bunch of locations, including one in KOP. But we went with this Cherry Hill location since it's a bit closer. Even though it was full in the restaurant we didn't have to wait long for a table (maybe 10 minutes, if that). All of the staff were cool and friendly, and our waitress was so great! She gave a really good rundown and suggestions of menu options. So, think we got a bit excited from all her suggestions and underestimated the portion sizes because we ended up with a lot of food! Lol. Wings, shrimp, meatballs, nachos - all pretty decent portions/larger plates. I was even shocked by the "side of bread" being a plate of bread lol. The wings were really good, meatballs were ok, shrimp good and nachos ok too. Our little one enjoyed her Kid's Pizza, which was large than we were expecting for her. Would come back to this location or try out the KOP one.

Tommy's Tavern has a large variety of options with some combinations I haven't experienced or even thought of putting together before. Our waitress was very kind and stopped by to check on us multiple times throughout the meal. There was plenty of seating available for a Sunday afternoon, and the plates of food were flowing out of the open kitchen nonstop. Their sushi is always plated beautifully with thick, generous rolls. The lobster roll was my favorite, delivering a creamy seafood explosion within every bite. The jalapeño on top of the other roll gave it a satisfying crunch, and the heat level was 100% on point. The sushi pizza is an absolute MUST TRY because this dish is only made this way here. The wonton crust topped with all the different ingredients creates a perfect appetizer plate that's both unique and shareable. The blueberry pear flatbread was on their limited menu, and I had to step outside my usual order because I love blueberries. There's a lot of sweetness in every bite, and it reminds me of a fruitier version of French toast. Not bad at all, but you have to be in the mood for something on the sweeter side to order that again. The French onion soup had a thick layer of cheese and was packed with bread pieces throughout, making it hearty and satisfying. All the dishes were so good, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at Tommy's Tavern. With creative menu options, attentive service, and consistently well-executed food, this spot has earned a place in our regular rotation.

I got the Bro Burger and it was only $6 so I added fries for $5. The burger was fresh and delicious - served with burger sauce, pickles and fried onions on a brioche bun. The fries were tasty and portioned well for the price. My only complaint is that they were cold. That kind of ruins the taste. Cold fries are a no! Service was quick and friendly. The young lady explained the menu to me which helped me to decide. I did feel bad for her because it was pretty cold inside! Might explain the cold fries. I will definitely try SmashBros again but when it's a little warmer outside. We DoorDashed from SmashBros and everything hit the mark. The food came fast, hot, and wrapped up nicely. The fries were golden, crispy, and generously portioned. The cheesesteaks were packed, mine had fried onions and Cooper sharp, no extras needed. The chicken cheesesteak had both big and shredded chunks, also on a seeded roll that wasn't overdone. Great quality, great flavor. Definitely ordering again. I went to one and the chicken cheesesteak tasted like wet dog food. The cheese was so runny it was practically sauce. & it was $16.50. I got violently ill after eating a burger from here. Apparently I am not the only one who has become sick either. they are not storing the meat at proper temps or cleaning their hands properly. I'm surprised they are still operating under these condition, unless you want to be throwing your guts up I do not recommend! Great food! The loaded fries were along with the burgers.
