I haven't been to Shake Shack in a long time! We were having some issues ordering on the screen. A staff member noticed and came over to help us. He was really nice, shoot us what to do and threw in a free soda. All the staff that we came in contact with were super nice. You order at the kiosk. If you're eating in the store, they give you a number and bring your food to the table. The restaurant is clean. It was nice sitting outside to eat. There is lots of parking. The food was good. The hamburgers are really thin. You can get lettuce to tomato and pickles for no extra charge. It was little expensive at $7.99 for the small hamburger. The fries were good but not really hot. I even asked to have my fries piping hot like burn my tongue hot. I was really craving fries so this was a little bit disappointing. The milkshake was OK. It was kind of thin. At times it seemed like I was drinking cold chocolate milk. I was a little disappointed, especially since the name is "Shake"shack I thought the shake would be really good. We did get a free order of fries with a special promotion. By no means am I a regular at Shake Shack, but on occasion I do enjoy a meal from them, particularly at this Cherry Hill location. People from my work often order take out from here. I've had the cheeseburgers and fried chicken sandwiches and thoroughly enjoyed them both. Once, I went inside to pick up an order for the office. The place was clean and the staff were super friendly. The whole operation was efficient and organized! The food is ready when they say it will be ready and I've never heard anyone say their order was incorrect. What more could you ask for? The business seems to have good deals on the app, sometimes. I'm not sure if I accidentally ordered from the kids' menu or financed someone's college tuition, but $70+ for 4 tiny burgers and 3 drinks is absolutely wild. For the price, I expected at least enough food to require two hands. The drinks somehow managed to cost almost as much as a gallon of gas, and after feeding a family, I left wondering if I should have just gone to a steakhouse instead. One burger was undercooked and I just didn't even want to address it. There's a difference between "premium" and "Did I just get robbed with a smile?" You're going to have to pretty much steel yourself to pay almost double the price. $17.11 got me a single cheeseburger, crinkle fries and a medium drink and included a 20% tip. PRO TIP: If you order directly at the counter, you will NOT be asked to tip. If you order at the kiosk, you WILL be asked if you'd like to tip. Take this information and do with it what you will. All I know is that I pretty much paid $2-$3 more than my dining partner because I went to the kiosk, even though we ordered the exact same thing. With the kiosk, I was able to request crinkle fries with NO SALT. YAY. With the kiosk, I ordered a drink - specifically, coke zero sugar. I got an empty cup and had to get it myself. Okay. It had been several years since my last Shake Shack experience, and I was super excited to learn a location had opened in Cherry Hill at some point. It's in the new development off Garden State Track. I walked in to order and noticed kiosks in use and one person at the "order here" sign. I opted to stand behind him. After he ordered, the clerk asked if I was paying cash or credit. I said credit, and she directed me to a machine, so I pivoted to cash. They were not sanitizing the kiosks in between customers, so even though cash isn't that clean either, it seemed like the safer option. I ordered a cheese dog, fries, and a cookies and cream shake. I asked how pick up worked, and she told me to stand outside and check back in 10 minutes. Ten minutes was more like 15, which wasn't horrendous for the loads of customers they had spread out waiting outside. We each took turns checking in the window when a new bag was put down. Eventually I noticed one labeled "Kaathleen" (I'm a sheep now) and grabbed it. The hot dog was tasty, the fries were pretty bland, and the shake would've been straight milk if not for the cookie bits. I probably won't be back, at least not during the covid era. One girl working had her mask under her nose, and some customers waiting near me also wore their masks incorrectly. It's just not worth the risk for the product quality. read more

Shake Shack is a cool place to eat fast food. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. This was my second time visiting a Shake Shack and my experience was decent. Ate lunch inside and it appeared to be clean. They offered hand sanitizers and disinfectant wipes to clean off the kiosk before you use them. The employee(s) were nice. I ate the Chick'n Bites with the Shake Shack sauce. The chicken bites were okay. The skin would slide off and I was not a fan of the Shake Shack sauce. I wish they offered more sauce options than the typical: honey mustard, BBQ, cheese sauce and of course the signature Shake Sauce. I also tried the bacon cheese fries that came with a wooden fork to eat the fries. Cute! The fries were cooked perfectly and tasted really good. Also, tried the Mango Passionade -- just okay. The next time I visit, I have to try one of their burgers. I did not completely dislike the Chick'n Bites -- it's the sauces that are missing for me. read more

Shake Shack of Rittenhouse square got me and my family hooked. We were in the area and I thought I saw a article about opening of SS in Cherry Hill, so I Yelp, tada..... it was right down a couple of blocks from the Cherry Hill Mall on Haddonfield road, we was thrill. Our excitement didn't died there either. Shake Shack of Cherry Hill has it's own parking lot, thank goodness! When we walked in, we saw 3 lines of people. One line at the pick up counter. Second line at ordering counter. Third line at self ordering counter(cards only), which Rittenhouse square doesn't have. We opted for self ordering as the regular ordering's line is so freaking long. We order 3 ShackBurgers, fries, Coffee shake, Strawberry shake, and Salted Caramel shake. I think my ShackBurger tastes weird, idk why and I couldn't pinpoint what's weird. But hubby says the burger is normal, maybe my tastebuds was off?? The only problem hubby had was with the Salted Caramel shake. They taste like coffee shake instead. Maybe the staff didn't rinse off after they make my coffee shake? Too lazy maybe?? We didn't feel like to wait any longer for our food, so we let it slide. Even though this location just open, they already had a leak at the ceiling. They had placed a warning wet sign close to a table. I would expect ceiling leakage at a older restaurant not brand new ones. Another plus is that they have a staff walking around to check to see if dine in patrons are ok. You can't get a manger to pick up the phone. I called because I ordered a smoke shack. The bacon was literally raw. My wife's bacon burger also had strips of bacon that were mostly raw. You can become seriously sick from this. Now I could remove the bacon but I still run the risk of food poisoning from cross contamination from the raw meat to touching the burger. My boyfriend and I came here on a Saturday afternoon around 1:45 PM and it was very crowded haha. We were luckily able to swipe a table but many people were holding their trays of food waiting for a table to clear so please keep that in mind! I suggest having one person order while another can grab a table. We've been to many other shake shack locations and this one is just like all the others. Burgers were tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The fries were crispy and seasoned with the right amount of salt. The cheese we got with our cheese fries were a bit hard though maybe because it had been sitting there for a while. My 50/50 was the exact ratio of lemonade and iced tea. My boyfriend really enjoyed his shackmeister burger with fried shallots. Will be coming back again when we have a shake shack craving. read more

A step up from typical fast food. I had their Mobile Order which was pretty quick despite having a lot of people waiting. I ordered their Chick' N Shack which is a Crispy chicken breast topped with lettuce, pickles and buttermilk herb mayo. The chicken was delicious - crispy on the outside without drying out the inside. The buttermilk herb mayo was the bomb and the pickles were more of a half pickle half cucumber taste. Perfect combination!! Great fries and topped the meal with a black and white milkshake. However, I'm here now at the cherryhill NJ location on Haddon and just saw two employees (one black male and one white female) at the register drop fries on that dirty ass front counter and then pick them up and put them back into a customer's fry box! I go for the chocolate shakes, which are delicious. My family likes to branch out and try different flavors when we go, and they're always pleased with their choices. The chicken sandwiches are always flavorful and juicy, but not always crunchy. The same is true for the fries. The burgers look great, and my son enjoyed his the last time we were there but said he should have gotten a double. It was definitely a little small. The fries are average, but the hot sauce packets make them very tasty. The customer service is always fast and friendly, and we always manage to find a seat no matter how crowded it seems when you walk in. Did a little bit of errands and decided to stop into Shake Shack for a quick lunch with my mom and husband. We walked into the store to order however were quickly told that only 1 person may be allowed at a time from a party. We tried to leave as quickly as we could because rules are rules, however they kept rushing us and it almost sounded like we had to quickly evacuate because of some emergency. I understand the rules, however I wished they had stated this on the front door before we even entered to avoid such an embarrassing moment. I am a huge shake shack fan and was so happy when I heard this location was opening up! I went for the first time this past week and I was impressed! We came during lunchtime and an employee greeted us upon entering. He explained the kiosks vs ordering in person and gave us a menu. We ordered at the kiosks which was a seamless process and I put in my phone number to be notified when our order was ready. Our food was ready pretty quickly and everything came out hot & delicious. My favorite is the shroom burger! (Which doesn't actually contain meat, it's a portobello mushroom with cheese) My only critique is that there isn't a ton of seating. My wife put in an order for two Shack burgers, chicken nuggets, three orders of fries including the cheese bacon fries, and a milk shake. When I got there they had the Covid precautions down, showed them my order on my phone and picked up my meal. There were people there eating outside as it was good weather. In terms of the food, it was as expected, nothing spectacular as to warrant the price, but it was a solid burger. There seems to be a lot options around for burgers, it's nice to have this as one of them in Cherry Hill unfortunate that Zinburger closed down. read more

You even have the option to customize your food items on the screen, eg. well done, shake sauce on side. We got text notifications when the order would be ready; however, when we got a text stating that our order was ready, it wasn't ready until another 5 minutes. When we received our order, the lid of the milkshake was completely broken. Plastic from the lid was even at the surface of our milkshake. We changed the lid, but thankful we checked the inside to find more plastic scraps inside. This is a HUGE SAFETY AND CHOKING CONCERN! 2/5 stars given for taste of cheeseburgers. read more
