I had breakfast at Stacks on 38 in Moorestown, NJ, and it honestly felt like the perfect home style breakfast spot. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, a little quieter than most breakfast places, which made it feel relaxed and comfortable, almost like eating at home. The service was excellent, with our food coming out in under 10 minutes, which is hard to beat. The portion sizes are large, and the prices are amazing for how much food you get. The best deal by far is the premium platter, which comes loaded with eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, French toast, and potatoes. It is a massive plate of food and a great way to try a little of everything. Everything was cooked just right, hearty, and satisfying. For me, Stacks on 38 is easily the best breakfast spot in Burlington County. Between the portions, the price, the quick service, and the cozy, homestyle feel, it is the kind of place you will want to keep coming back to.

Been meaning to check this place out. We have stopped a couple times in the past but the wait has just been too long. This past Sunday we went and the wait was about 20 minutes so we put in our names. We were sat before that. We got a booth right by the window which was nice. Our server stopped by instantly with our menus. We pretty much knew what we were going to get. I ordered the pumpkin pancakes because 'tis the season and my boyfriend got the West Coast Avocado Benedict with home fries. My boyfriend got a hot chocolate. It was made with water but pretty decent. Our food came out fairly quickly. My pancakes were very good. Good balance of pumpkin and spice. I thought the little container it came with was icing but it was just a very sweet butter, very good. My boyfriend got his benedict, and it was Luke warm. I told him to say something but he said it was good. It was good but it would have been better hot. You get great size portions and everything was very good. Once we received our food we didn't see our server until she brought over the check. I would go again but I just wish he would have let me say something as having eggs almost cold is not good.

Stacks gives you big bang for you dollars. The food is delicious. I had the chicken biscuits with withe gravy and it was amazing, I had hash browns and turkey bacon do my sides. My wife had the same but she had potatoes with peppers and onions. My uncle had the breakfast skillet and pancakes. He said that those were some of the best pancakes he has ever had. He had been there 3 times in two weeks. He said he wants to go again. Yeah I say it is good as well. I will be going there again. Hey guys I almost forgot he sent me a picture of a meal he had when I was not there. He had the Chili Omelette with potatoes. So you have to try Stacks on 38, you will not regret it

went to breakfast at stacks this morning, and it was good! we got there at the right time, because the place started filling up right after we arrived, and there was a crowd when we left. It's obviously very popular and for good reason. Every employee is polite, helpful and upbeat. The restaurant is clean and well run. Our food was brought out quickly and everything was tasty & hot. very nice!

Stack's Loaded Omelette. Came with a side of pancakes. Amazing.

We stoped at Stacks because the wait of another diner was going to be ridiculous. Even though Stacks had people waiting outside, we decided to check on the weight, which was actually only 20 minutes. After the 20 minutes, we were seated promptly. The place was busy, but the staff was nothing short of phenomenal. I watched them as I waited for my food, and they were running around assisting other staff. That's the way you do it in business. Our waitress was amazing as well. It was pretty obvious she had been doing this a while even though she was young. The food came out hot and fresh, and we had no complaints. We would definitely eat here again.

I know this is the former Perkins Restaurant, so is the breakfast items similar? Also, isn't there socially distanced INDOOR dining too?

Hi, we operate under a new name! Same owners and yes similar food but with more variety. And yes we we offer indoor dining at reduced capacity.

When we were finally seated we had a great waitress who shared her recommendations. We landed on the Eggs Benedict and the $19 BUTTERSCOTCH APPLE FRENCH TOAST, which is baked cinnamon & vanilla custard-soaked brioche, butterscotch apples; topped with brown butter oat streusel & Philly whip. Unbelievable. The place was loud and popping on a Sunday around noon. Not intimate, but a fun post-church gathering of hungry souls. Haddonfield itself is a cute little town with what appeared to be a lot of cute dining spots. We will definitely make this our pit stop on future NY - DC sojourns!

The space is clean, modern, and welcoming, and the staff was genuinely pleasant from the start. Julian, our server, greeted us promptly, got coffee on the table quickly, and kept everything moving smoothly. In addition to standard coffee, they offer craft espresso-bar style drinks, which is a nice touch whether you are there for breakfast or brunch. The restaurant also has outdoor seating, not ideal in December, but it would be great in warmer weather for people-watching along Haddonfield's main street. The menu has plenty of options, and I went with the fennel sausage frittata with roasted potatoes and bacon. It was hearty and well executed, the bacon was crisp, the potatoes were crunchy, and the portion was generous enough that I could not finish it. My wife ordered the green goddess roll, which she really enjoyed, though her potatoes came out cold while mine were hot, the only real miss of the visit. We also shared a bowl of lentil soup, which was perfect for a cool day and a nice surprise on a brunch menu. This spot works well for weekdays or weekends, breakfast or brunch, and it does get busy, so reservations are a good idea or be prepared to wait with a coffee. Pricing felt very reasonable for the area, and overall it was a good stop we would happily return to.

Our waitress seemed a bit flustered, but still very friendly and attentive. We ordered quickly and our food came out really fast. I got an omelette with salad greens. Everything seemed fresh and flavorful. I had zero issues with my food. One of my kids got the French toast with bacon and fruit and the other got a grilled cheese with fruit. Both kids liked the main meal but the fruit was on its way out. Lots of brown and squishy spots. Normally my kids could eat a pound of fruit each, but they both passed on it. My wife got a breakfast sandwich with potatoes. She really wanted fries, but they had none. What breakfast restaurant doesn't have French fries? We thought that was pretty strange. She said the sandwich was fine, but nothing spectacular. My parents shared eggs and potatoes and a pot of decaf. The potato consensus across the table was that they were not good. Too salty and not crispy enough. This was especially upsetting because of the lack of fries. Oh well. They also hated the coffee, but my parents only usually like McDonald's coffee. Boomers. What are you going to do. Everyone agreed we would not be back here, but for me, with the parking lot and satisfied kids, I wasn't too sad about the meal.

Apparently my pops has been there a few times because he remembered our server and he remembered my dad however, I don't think he did remember Pops but he made my dad feel like he remembered him and that is a good skill. The server was very helpful with picking items off the menu and all of his selections seemed to have been good. I liked mine but I probably won't get the waffle again but not because it wasn't good but I used to love waffles but I've moved on to french toast. That beet juice was interesting but tasted very healthy which doesn't mean it didn't taste good. It just wasn't sweet but it was good and it felt like it did something good for my system. We sat right outside of the kitchen so we did get to see all of the plates come out which is what I like to do so I can get inspired if I need some help finding something to eat but the server took care of that for us. I've been to another since and although the service and food was good, this guy was better.

A delicious breakfast for around $12. The man behind the counter was fast and friendly. He didn't rush the line but also brought your order out to the waiting area when it was ready. They do have 2 small tables in the office lobby but that's just for waiting for your order or maybe scarfing down a sandwich very quickly. The food - horrible! I mean the warming dishes weren't even ignited and for the ones that weren't empty, the remaining scraps of food were overcooked, cold and beyond bland. Honestly better tasting food at a Chinese buffet. The "raw bar" was the best thing available - and that's only because they had nice sized shrimp but were out of whatever items were also supposed to be a part of it. My Bloody Mary was atrocious! Tomato juice and tobacco was basically what it was. Our server John was really nice and energetic and doing the best he could - everything he could control was controlled so he deserves more than the 2 stars this review is receiving.
