We started getting him chicken at call me crispy when we would go next-door to mama's meatballs. based on the recommendation of a few friends I got the crispy chicken Caesar wrap. It was excellent. Came here after seeing their post on IG and food was very good. Cashier was very friendly, food came out fast and prices were reasonable. I wasn't expecting such a large portion for the loaded fries! I wasn't expecting surprised when we got home. I will say, chicken was a bit bland however I sprinkled some of the lemon pepper season and it definitely took the dish to another level! Decided to try this place out after seeing a social media post. Placed an online order on their website which I will say was user friendly. Selected time and drove there. I arrived right at pick up time but my order wasn't ready was given three minute wait time. Definitely waited about 15 extra for my food which was only mac and cheese, fried 4 piece chicken and a chicken Cesar wrap. The food was just ok. Nothing to rave about. One of my pieces of chicken was not cooked all the way through so that turned me off. Mac and cheese was just ok cheesy but something was missing in the flavor profile. Overall, I would try them again for the sandwich to see what that's about but again nothing to rave about. Pricing is fair and portions are good as well. read more

This restaurant is OUTSTANDING. I have ordered from them three times now and every time is consistently great. The fries are next level crispy; the buffalo chicken wrap is spicy and crunchy and spectacular. The classic Caesar wrap is the best I have ever had! And the SERVICE!!!! The family that owns this restaurant is beyond kind. I will absolutely continue to support this business whenever I have a hankering or a few bucks to spare on a truly good meal and experience. First time customer on a recommendation by a coworker. I had the hot honey crispy chicken sandwich meal. It was a big sandwich, delicious and a decent value at $11 with fries and a drink. Will definitely be back to try other menu items. Tip: Don't be afraid to order the "extra spicy". Choices are either mild or extra spicy. In my opinion it was just a little bit spicy. I as well checked out Call Me Crispy today, next to Mama's Meatballs and Pizzeria on Haddonfield Rd, Pennsauken. Wings: they hooked me up with a dusting of a Nashville sauce powder with a side of mango habanero sauce. The breading was good. Wings fried perfectly. Still juicy on the inside. Not sure if they brine their wings to keep them so moist but I was impressed. Fries: would had liked them a little more fried, but tasted good dipped in the side of the mango habanero sauce. Crispy Nashville Chicken sandwich: came with a drink and fries. For the price this is a great deal. The breading is really good, and the size of the chicken is big! Lots of crunch and munch to this guy. You'll eat this and be satisfied! I'm sad to see express shish kabob leave, but I think this spot will thrive. Me and my husband went here to try out a new chicken spot and I'd say it's pretty good. It's a nice cute place and they have lots of drink offers. I would say though their one sauce with their tenders don't equate well too much just cause even at their smallest amount of 3 tenders they only give you one sauce with it and to get more you have to pay more. The one sauce lasts about 1 1/4 tender if you use it sparingly, if you don't use it sparingly like my husband it's a tenders worth. The chicken itself is alright and I would say has a good crunch to it. They give you also a different orange sauce which is pretty good at well for dipping fries. Overall I'd say it was alright, and the service was alright as well. read more

Needed a last minute platter of wings for Christmas brunch and coincidentally this place was in my Yelp suggestions. The restaurant was closed Christmas Day, so I placed an order for pickup at the time of closing on Christmas Eve, and they accommodated. I tried a wing once I got the platter home and it was really good -crispy, seasoned well but the lemon pepper "crack" sprinkled on top made it even better ! On Christmas morning I popped the wings in the oven on 200 just to reheat them before serving, and surprisingly they were still crispy and delicious. Everyone loved the chicken ! Definitely found my go to place for platters. 10/10 read more

In Pennsauken on Haddonfield Berlin Road...in the little building next to Mama's Meatballs. A terrific spot for succulent savory chicken dishes. My friend and I stopped for lunch and glad we did. I ordered the OG sandwich meal..friend had the loaded fries.. My sandwich was just great. Nice large tender with super crispy crunch and tender and juicy...comes in bun with pickles and cole slaw and...their hot honey That hot honey is worth the trip by itself. The loaded fries looked like enough for two or maybe 3 people. Luckily...my friend eats for two. Or three. Loaded with chicken and the fries were nicely crisp and tasty. Really good chicken sandwich here. Very affordable too, for the size and quality. I dont usually dig crinkle fries but these are pretty good. Came in for lunch and the place was pretty empty, and had to wait a LONG time (like 25minutes). So keep that in mind, probably better to call ahead and pick up. Really nice service at the counter and the dude was running back and forth to the kitchen, I assume pulling double duty. This review is based on two separate visits. I heard about this place on a Facebook group and thought I'd try it for lunch one day. I bought the 3 tender meal. First thing I noticed was that the price I paid was slightly higher than the price on the menu. It was less than a dollar, but it always bugs me when the price increases and they don't announce it. I didn't make a big deal about it. The portion was huge and the tenders were really juicy. I would've liked to see more seasoning in the chicken tenders themselves, but I was happy enough that I recommended this place to my parents when they wanted food for the Eagles game. My mom placed an order for a 10 tenders meal plus onion rings. She got home and they had forgotten the fries so she sent me to pick them up. They made a big deal about telling me there were double the fries for our trouble, but based on the amount of fries I got in my 3 tenders meal previously I would've expected more. Maybe it was an off day due to the eagles game, but the chicken wasn't as good this time around. Some pieces were extra dry and some were moist. And there was a lot more pepper this time around. And my mom wasn't happy with the onion rings. They were not rings of onion so much as chopped up bits of onion formed into a ring shape. TLDR: a bit inconsistent in quality. 3/5 stars. read more

Stopped in on a quiet Saturday night and was not disappointed. I got the hot and honey chicken sandwich and 4 tenders in lemon pepper. Each order came with fries. The bread used for the sandwich was fantastic. Light, fluffy, flavorful. It complimented this delictably fried chicken that was also very light, but heavy on the flavor. It was a little more honey than hot, but a quick splash of hot sauce fixed that right up. Moving on to the tenders. They were MASSIVE. I picked up this unit of a tender not knowing what to expect, but getting all of the satisfaction at first bite. It was tender, juicy, and downright delicious. I don't know what kind of magic they fried this chicken in, but it was delightful. The lemon pepper dust itself was very good, but next time I go, I would ask for extra of that lemon pepper on top. The store itself was very nice. Roomy. Clean. And has a good amount of indoor seating. Their selection of drinks were fantastic. Even had some jarritos in there. The person behind the counter was very nice, knowledgeable, and down to earth. All in all I really enjoyed my stop at call me crispy. I would most definitely stop by if I'm in the area. This place used to be my family's chicken joint, even over the chain stores. However, we will not be returning. I used to love the sandwiches due to their use of a full breast and the crispiness of the coating on the tenders. You could make a dinner out of the sandwiches, especially the 2 for deal. However, that seems to have changed. Our order the other night which totaled in excess of $50 and consisted of 3 sandwiches($9 @) and 10 tenders ($24) was just plain bad. The sandwiches were not breast meat but a single tender cut in half that weighed may be 2 ounces, if we were lucky, and the tenders were as my family members put it "like eating slimy coated chicken." What happened to their quality and value? I don't know but like I said earlier, we not be returning. read more

Probably the best chicken sandwich in the area - the big difference vs the other two, the chicken isn't greasy at all. Got the hot and honey sandwich, the Mrs got the Nashville hot one. They were both amazing, came with fries and a can of soda for $9.99. You cannot beat that. FRESH food, for $10. Amazing. Nice, clean lobby, some chairs. Staff were super friendly. The Chicken looked like an experiment into that Battle for Crispy Chicken...sorry but the flavor was not great, tasted like they used too much baking powder/soda or too much starch in the attempt to make it crispy. The blend of seasonings tasted like expired McCormick's Seasonings and it's just not that great. I am 54 years old and I have never had better fried chicken than his place. It's unreal it's like they're making it from scratch while you wait. Just the right amount of seasoning, chicken is always tender and juicy as hell and the skin almost melts in your mouth. And their chicken sandwiches like the honey chicken and the Nashville are fantastic. So is the OG. And I really don't like french fries but I love their french fries. The chicken tenders I had were very juicy and well-seasoned. They weren't overly seasoned which is how I like it. The tenders came with a huge order of crinkle-cut fries.
