I checked out Asad's Hot Chicken in Sicklerville, NJ, and overall it was a solid experience with a few highs and lows. The service was great, friendly and quick, and the prices were not bad at all, especially for the amount of food you get. The chicken itself was good, not quite on the level of Popeyes but definitely better than most spots in the area. What really stood out though were the sauces and the fries, honestly some of the best I have ever had and worth coming back for on their own. Did not get a milkshake as the prices on them seemed pretty expensive. The restaurant itself is small with limited seating, so it feels more like a takeaway spot than a sit down restaurant. On top of that, there was no air conditioning inside, which made it uncomfortably hot and sweaty on a warm day. That being said, the place has a modern and hip vibe, which adds to the overall appeal. If you are looking for flavorful hot chicken at a good price, Asad's is worth a visit, just maybe plan on grabbing it to go, especially in the summer. read more

Good to try, but I wouldn't have it again. The scorchin level was hot but it was the type of spicy that was just peppery, not flavorful. The spice was from the powder that was sprinkled on top of the sandwich so the chicken itself was also not flavorful. The loaded fries were topped with cut up chicken pieces and sauce. I had been hearing about this place for a while now and since I had gotten done work early I decided to head over. The place is new, and it has a graffiti theme. I got there as they just opened so they were cleaning and preparing the food as they fired up the fryer. Since mine was the first order, it took about 20 minutes but the woman behind me got her food in half that time. As i looked at the menu I realized that they really only cook 2 things. Chicken tenders and French fries. So why do they only have such a small menu? Well, the answer is in the food. They only cook two things, but they do it very well. The chicken comes in 5 spice levels from no spice to scorching. I got the hot. The fries, I was skeptical at first glance but boy was I wrong. They had the perfect exterior texture and crunch. I ordered it without cheese because I wanted to taste the actual fry without them getting soggy. The tenders came with pickles, Asaad sauce, and bread. The chicken was remarkably juicy and super flavorful without being dry. For being so moist, yes I said MOIST, the breading was crispy. The one setback was they do not have any seating so I had to eat in my car. Even the container they put the food in was top quality. It was a microwaveable plastic container properly ventilated so the fries don't get soggy. This place was worth the hype. The platter was really big for 12.99 and I added an additional space for $.39, but it was enough to share if you are looking to not be stuffed. I'll be back for sure! read more

If you enjoy Raising Canes, well let me tell you, you're going to love Asad's Hot Chicken. Since this is a new location opening it is busy so I recommend ordering online. While picking up my food you can just feel all the good energy coming from their restaurant. Employees were working fast, even tho it was busy customers still had smiles on their faces.Food was steaming fresh, Chicken was not too spicy ( if you don't like spicy like myself, get mild ) and the FRIES! Best you will ever taste. That's not even the icing on the cake... Tutti Fruitti Smoothie had me in a major choke hold. My boyfriend asked if I wanted one for myself and I said no being me, just to turn around and take his! (Typical girlfriend move). I will never lead yall wrong when it comes to food lol! Solid food with a different than typically hot chicken. Wasn't quick to cook and would most definitely order from Asad's again

I've ordered Two times from here. Both times the food was not worth it. The spice levels are a joke I ordered extra hot and it tasted like mild spice. The wait times are excessive as well. First time I went I ordered in store and it took 45 minutes to get my food. The second time I used their app. It said 20 minutes until my food would be ready. I got there 25 minutes after I ordered and still had to wait an extra 10 minutes to get my food. read more

Great food which is why I come back, but ordering pickup online is a nightmare. You have to wait about 50-60 minutes after ordering to pickup your order, if you wait inside/you'll hear order numbers way ahead of yours get called and people who come in way after you do they get their food before. read more

This past weekend I finally made it to Asad's. I ordered the 2 slider Hot with a chocolate shake, and it was an excellent meal. Sandwiches are full size, unlike the term slider used. The seasoning was just right and the shake came in a good sized cup. To me, this meal is well beyond Cane's, and I will make Asad's a regular visit. read more

This review is regarding the location at 1400 Haddonfield-Berlin rd in Cherry Hill. food wise it was delicious! As I was waiting for my food to be ready I went to use the bathroom. I wish I never did that! There were signs everywhere saying "Please don't flush toilet paper throw out in trashcan" there was a trashcan next to the toilet full is used toilet paper! WHAT! The trashcan was the kind you push down on the lid to throw out your trash! GROSS!! I did not do that! I flushed! I washed my hands but then there was no paper towels and the hand dryer did not work! Skeeved out now with my wet hands trying to turn the door knob I went right to the counter and said something to one of the employees who just looked at me and said - yea that's what we have to do...I said that's absolutely disgusting but they just starred at me! This restaurant is doing really well popping up everywhere in South Jersey and Philly to have a bathroom with literally no working parts! DO BETTER ASADS!! read more
