The misses absolutely hated it, but she is admittedly not a fan of spice, which is a good segue; you can't avoid the "hot" part of hot chicken here. This isn't the place for you if you can't handle heat. The BASE level of chicken is still spicy. The fries come with spicy seasoning. My wife's meal was basically inedible for her. My only real knock for Iffys was the wait. It took about 25-30 minutes to get our food. While I appreciate they are making it fresh to order, it was a bit of a wait. Also, the mango slushie we got was not it. WAAAAY too sweet. Eh, can't win em all. I would gladly go back, as I enjoy spice, but it's going to have to be a solo mission. The tenders come with bread, so there isn't *really* a reason to get a "slider," but I enjoyed the slider either way.

My one egg came with three slices of Taylor brand pork roll (it's the best). Lots of soft, crispy potatoes. Egg perfectly over easy. Waitress checked on us several times. Is it gourmet. Nope but it's pretty good diner food and fairly affordable. Service was good.

There were autism affirming things, and fidgets, etc, which is nice. As a parent with a special needs child, I certainly don't expect this stuff, but do appreciate it. - The sauce lineup was confusing. They have "Dis Sauce," and "Dat Sauce." If I remember, one is like more asian/teryaki forward or something, and the other more mayonnaise based? But I believe they are both spicy, and even after asking I still couldn't sort it out. - The floor was insanely sticky. I'm talking my wife LITERALLY came out of her flip flops as she walked through the dining room. It wasn't dirty in there at all, but I was SHOCKED at how sticky the floor was. The food was fine. It didn't blow me away, but it was tasty. I don't even remember what *I* ate, but I know my wife got the cheesesteak egg rolls, which I thought were outlandishly expensive. Meh. Certainly not a place I'd avoid at all, but nowhere I'm in any sort of rush to get back to. Everyone inside seemed really nice.

I visited this establishment a few weeks ago on a Saturday. It is near my friend's business,…read moreliterally 4 min away so we decided to try them. Location is in a strip mall with a few other eateries and stores . It was alot going on. As mentioned it was a Saturday and many patrons were coming in to order takeout or picking up orders. It was their 5th anniversary of the business opening. There was a DJ and a podcaster, videographer and cameraman onsite doing a food review. There was also a toy drive and if you brought a toy you got to spin a wheel to win a prize. The establishment is small so with the DJ and podcaster/ entourage and the toy drive there was not much seating available. The wait was extremely long. I had to ask an employee to check my order status twice each time she never came back with update. We were there for about an hour. I saw an order come up waited about 15 min then asked them to check if that was my order and it was. The food was not hot, they didn't give me the signature sauce that came with my order. The strawberry lemonade was delicious, the wings were decent, the fish sandwich and fish platter both looked amazing but was just OK. Didn't care for the sweet potato fries. I truly think it was because the food wasn't hot and the fries had wilted. The set up inside is a bit off with the ordering kiosk right in front of bar stool seating. The kiosk should probably be in the corner on the right side when you first walk in. Away from where folks sit and eat. It's distracting when you're sitting at a stool and the line is long with folks ordering and waiting for take out orders. I would try them again but on a day when there isn't so much going on to get the real experience of the quality of food. I ordered a fish platter, 10 wings, sweet potato fries , strawberry lemonade and a small fountain drink. My friend ordered the fish sandwich, fried shrimp platter and two can sodas.

This was my first experience with Asad's Hot Chicken and I had been waiting to try their sandwiches…read morefor so long! I can also report that it is delicious! Being a newbie to Asad's and also an idiot and spice adventurer when it comes to hot things, I obviously opted for the "scorchin" level of heat on my order, which may have been a hasty decision considering just how hot this chicken actually gets. So, let me preface the rest of the story with the fact that this was ordered for a work lunch, in-office, and my dumb ass thought, "sure, a sandwich is great, why not get a tender along with it and a milkshake!" Milkshake = great idea! Additional chicken tender coated in what I can only describe as actual sub-terrestrial crust magma-inspired rub = not the best decision I have ever made. However, what was most intriguing and also outstanding is that through all the heat and spice, the flavors were mind-blowingly good and absolutely dialed in to keep me coming back for more. I will definitely tone down the scovilles for my next visit though. Let me also say that the menu is a bit confusing as is stated in a few other reviews. But once you actually SPEAK to someone then all your questions are easily answered, and everyone is very responsive and positive and ready to help. I still should have not ordered the additional tender, regardless of spice, simply because the volume of food is right on point. A chicken sandwich and fries should be plenty for one person, especially with a milkshake to cool things down should you decide to go the route that I did with one of the crazy hot levels. It's funny, because I love heat in my food, opting for the spiciest menu items on almost every occasion, but Asad's took me down. After easily finishing the tender, but needing the milkshake to assist, I barely made it through the sandwich. I was even tearing at one point. While this may sound like self-induced torture to some people, what you don't understand is that the amazing flavors that burst forth from this sandwich. The juiciness of the chicken and the savory, sweet, spicy, and salty combination making masterwork of something that is perceived to be so simple: just a chicken sandwich. If you order a lower spice level, all those flavors are still there, and that's the best part. What makes Asad's delicious is cooked right in to every piece of chicken that they produce. Then you can make it yours, just how you like it. This happened to be my first experience with their devilishly hot offerings, but it will definitely not be my last, and probably won't even be my final "scorchin" experience either. Knowing myself, I can almost guarantee I'll order it again and then regret not just getting something a little more tame. Do yourself a favor and head to your closest Asad's and see what it's all about. It's worth the price, which isn't too bad, and I can guarantee you'll be happy with what you get. There's a reason that in the last two years you may have noticed one opening by you out of nowhere......go start that hot adventure!
