Great diner ! With plenty of options for everyone , diner had plenty of parking as well. Came here twice during my weekend here and enjoyed the options ! Alyssa was super nice & helpful on getting our orders just how we like it ! Will definitely be back ! They seated us right away as they have plenty of room , pretty big diner . I would recommend they warm up the pies before serving , cold pies are not it! But looking forward to trying their other treats when in town :)!

Stopped in for a late breakfast during the week. My server, Mike, was wonderful. He was very friendly, constantly keeping my water and coffee full, and quick to take my order. He brought me an extra plate to help separate some of the food from the meadows special plate, which was much appreciated. The diner has the true diner vibe with tons of booth seating and chrome accents. The bathroom was a little out dated and could definitely use a refresh and a few repairs, but was clean and stocked with soap and paper towels.

Wow, I am not a "diner" girl, but I've been there three times now and I have yet to be disappointed. Breakfast is phenomenal-their biscuits and gravy, chipped beef, eggs, French toast-even the coffee is very tasty! Service is great and the people are friendly. Prices are good and it's now our family's favorite place to get together!

Biscuit was the best part of the meal. We went at 12 on a Sunday and were served quickly and with kindness. The ambiance is nice and warm like a classic diner. The breakfast potatoes were also delicious. My omelette also had a cheese pull!

Can you see the peppers & onions...awesome chicken cheesesteak, so good!

Just adding the Meadows special early morning menu! Delish start to any morning, try the Belgium waffles....yum!

Generally, I liked my experience here. Ambiance: (5/5) Great diner feel with booths and regular tables. Price: (5/5) Greta prices for huge portions. Food: (4/5) The food was definitely a bit heavy, but it was really good. The sausage gravy could have used a bit of salt and pepper but I'm glad I got it on the side of the waffles so I could control how much I ate. I also tried the French toast with some toppings. That was a also really good (maybe a bit too sweet, so I should have picked different toppings). Service: (4/5) Staff is great. They are so accommodating. Food did take a while but I wasn't in a rush.

    COVID19 take-out .. . eerie to see THE MEADOWS this way ... :(

Burger runn Cheesesteak…read more I've been told repeatedly to try the cheesesteaks here. On a previous visit I had the burgers and I thought they were very good. Though at my visit today I discovered they use Martin's potato rolls for the burgers. The place was a former deli and is tiny. I was greeted at the door and they took my order. Cheesesteak fried onions provolone. My go to order. The floor is tiled and slippery and I almost fell several times. It was around 4:15 so I thought I beat the dinner rush but apparently everyone orders from here on DoorDash or Uber Eats. At least a dz orders were picked up while I was waiting. I thought the wait was a little long.... But I stood there waiting for my sandwich. Finally a woman from the back come up front to address a problem with a chicken order and asked what I was waiting for.... A cheesesteak I replied and the counter woman that took my order grabbed a bag that was sitting in the pickup pile and handed it to me Alex? She asked yes I replied. I took my sandwich and got into my truck. At a red light I reached over to feel the bag... it was Luke warm. I expected my sandwich to be piping hot. Ggggggrrrrrrr. That is why I ordered at the place but the nearly 30 minute wait with the undetermined amount of time it was on the to go counter will you get the picture. On my arrival at home I opened the sandwich and snapped a photo. At this point it was barely warm. I prepared it with ketchup, hot pepper hoagie spread and my last slices sweet horseradish dill pickles. The first bite was underwhelming. Barely warm and the roll which was supposed to be sarcone's tasted more like amoroso. Onions were diced into fine cubes and I prefer more than the tiny amount provided. Overall taste was good but because it was nearly cold hard to actually evaluate. The overall sandwich had enough meat and a good meat to bread ratio. I found no trace of fat or grizzle. Maybe if circumstances were better I would have been happier but it did not reach the hype.

The…read morefood is consistently very good -- the burgers are huge, the fries are amazing, and the crab fries (made with real crab meat) are absolutely delicious... and that's coming from someone who doesn't even like crab all that much. One of the most fun things on the menu is their chicken "thumbs," which are shaped like little hands -- I wish I took a picture because they're great and definitely something you don't see everywhere. Service can be a little hit or miss, but not because the staff isn't working hard -- it's a big place and when it gets busy, it really gets busy, and they sometimes seem a bit understaffed for the rush. That said, everyone is always very friendly, which makes a big difference and keeps the experience positive. They also have a huge bar with several beers on tap, great specialty drinks, and drink specials, so it's a great place to hang out with friends and have a good time. Overall, definitely worth a visit. Just maybe don't go if you're in a big rush -- go when you have time to relax, enjoy the atmosphere, and have a good meal.

Parking was a challenge on a Friday night as every space was full and turning around in the back lot involves making a k turn around the other vehicles who are also looking for a spot. We ended up parking down the street and walking over. We were seated immediately, as the bar has ample seating, both high tops and regular tables. My bff wasn't in the mood for a cocktail so we opted for Arnold palmers. Now, I am a HUGE avocado fan and I had heard about their infamous avocado fries so I was super excited about trying them. That may or may not have been the main reason for my visit. The avocado fries are fresh large slices of avocado breaded in panko and fried with a sweet and tangy spicy mayo sauce. I loved them but my bff wasn't as excited. He informed me he isn't a huge fresh avocado fan, so this one is for the avocado lovers. We also opted for the chicken parm rollers which is described as "Chicken mixed with ricotta cheese, herbs and spices rolled in panko breadcrumbs served with house made marinara and shaved parmesan" - they are chicken meatballs. We expected something else and now that we've had them and I re-read the description I'm not sure what we had in mind but it wasn't this. They were just okay. I think if they were placed on a plate with seasoned whipped ricotta and drizzled with pesto it could boost the flavor experience. For our entrees my bff got the chicken strips with the sweet and sassy sauce and I opted for the KO burger. My KO burger was delicious. The seeded brioche bun was buttery and fresh and the burger itself was flavorful. The fries were also fantastic. Fresh cut and sprinkled with a sweet seasoning, I didn't even feel the need to add ketchup or a side of aioli or anything. They were perfect. I didn't try my bffs chicken tenders but the sweet and sassy sauce tasted just like buffalo sauce. Pretty sure it was the wrong sauce but he didn't say anything to our server so that's on us. If you are looking for a bar to hang out and watch sports, get a drink, and have a great burger, I'd recommend this place - but maybe uber there.

Apparently, they go through 15 gallons of it every week. More on that in a minute. I took my cheesesteak over to Death of the Fox Brewery. Why? Because the two breweries that were closer happened to be closed. Their loss, my gain. I love Death of the Fox, but that's a story for a separate review. First, I sampled the meat, cheese, and onions by themselves. Pretty darn tasty. Next, I tried a bite on the toasted garlic roll. Very pretty darn tasty. Then I added the habanero sauce. Now we're talking. Very, very pretty darn tasty. If you've followed my cheesesteak adventures for any length of time, you know I'm not exactly a hot sauce guy. I was expecting some serious heat, but I'd describe this as more of a sweet habanero with a pleasant kick. Best of all, I suffered no repercussions afterward--a minor miracle. The cheesesteak was excellent, the garlic roll added another layer of flavor, and the habanero sauce tied everything together. Honestly, I'm surprised Whit or Whitout doesn't get mentioned more often on social media. They deserve a lot more attention. Decor was all Philly!!

I placed my order online and only had to wait a few minutes when I was there. One thing I wasn't nuts about was seeing a bunch of fries already packed sitting under a heat lamp when I got there. A young gentleman was packing the to go orders who seemed a little flustered which made sense cause it seemed there was a rush happening, but wound up forgetting to give me the side of cheese sauce I ordered. I should have checked myself so it's a little on me, but I did make it a point to ask him if it was in the bag and he said yes. When I tried the fries at first, they were actually excellent. Perfectly warm, crispy, and salty however after sitting out only for about 5-10 minutes, they took on a texture of staleness which was disappointing but I suppose it's from already sitting out under the lamp. I feel like if they were made to order, they'd probably stay fresher a bit longer. I got the roast pork sandwich with provolone and roasted red peppers which was very good! The pork was seasoned well, a little peppery which I love. Roasted red peppers were good too! As much as I loved it, it was absolutely swimming in juice or oil from the peppers so it was extremely messy, but again, delicious! We also ordered a chicken cutlet sandwich called the hoagie which was great. They make a wonderful cutlet! I'd for sure come back, but maybe skip the fries next time.
