FAT MEZZ (awesome young band) brought us back here again. I was wowed by the gorgeous Christmas decor as soon as we walked in! Whoever decorated did a stupendous job! Photo ops galore! The VP has some of the best bar food around, in my humble foodie opinion! Sir got a nice juicy chicken cheese steak, that was pretty big. I had a seasonal squash salad that was an amazing symphony of flavors and ingredients (squash, Brussels, dried cranberries)! Our server, Sophia, was super sweet, personable, and attentive- this girl checked on us about a dozen times (we were there for four hours) and never stopped smiling. I came here, anticipating amazing food celebrating Halloween. However, the food was not that great. It looked way better than it tasted. However, I was hungry, so I'm grateful. Came on a Saturday afternoon to see the holiday decor and grab a bite, sat at the bar which was really crowded, the atmosphere was terrific and the bartender Shaianne was non stop with a great attitude and made some really good holiday drinks also just got some appetizers that were delicious , highly recommend and can't wait to go back. read more

I am visiting and heard about this place so I wanted to try it out. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and wanted to get the upgraded sweet potatoes fries, but saw that the fries were $7.99 extra. That's crazy expensive, just about the cost of an appetizer. The spicy chicken sandwich was... the WORST spicy chicken sandwich I've ever tried. It literally looks and tasted like they just heated it up in the microwave.. the bun was soft, too much sauce and no flavor. Almost equivalent to a Costco or Sam's Club frozen sandwich. read more

3.5 Had lunch here the other day and it's a typical sports bar. Lots of tv's The tuna tacos were spicy and full of flavor but you only get two. So despite how good they were they are definitely on the pricer side. We added cheese to the nachos. There were good but the toppings were on the smaller side. Definitely needed more cheese!!! The burger was very good despite being cooked medium well instead of medium rare. It was still juicy and had a good flavor combination with the cheese and jalapeños. The dessert was also good. The cider donut wasn't the best I ever had but mixed with the Carmel ice cream it hot that spot. They won't upgrade the fries that come with the burger from plain to village pub. Which is just adding some old bay seasoning and a side of cheese. Very strangle. I will say our server was very good, friendly and got us some old bay seasoning on the side so we could spice up our fries. Definitely a good place to hang with friends!! Nicely coated and the sesame seeds added a nice nuttiness. - Crispy Brussels Sprouts - deep fried (they're still vegetables, so all's good!) and served with crispy pepperoni. - Fall Roasted Salad - baked apples, roasted turnips, brussels sprouts, purple radishes, and onions, with a maple tahini dressing. I added grilled shrimp to mine. It may be spring, but we were loving this fall salad! Very clean restaurant with friendly waitstaff. Tons of parking, and they open at 11:00 AM on weekdays. Service was great and arrived at 6pm on a Sunday, sat down right away and attended to. My girlfriend and I order the avocado fries and spicy traditional wings. The avocado fries were crispy on the outside and mushy on the inside. The jalapeño ranch dip that came with it was super good. The wings were pretty spicy but nothing to worry about. Very crunchy and lots of chicken on the bone. I had the loaded tots burger, rare, and it was very good. Could've been a little more rare but still great. The grilled bun held it together perfectly. The onions, pickles and loads of cheese. So good My girlfriend got the spicy chicken sandwich which she loved as well. The spicy Mayo she loved on it. Fries were very good and salty. Went to dance and have a few drinks 11/24 when DJ Looch was playing. Severely understaffed. The good... DJ was great. The bad... Waited an hour for one drink. They just did not have enough bartenders and they were working hard. It was a shame. Can't speak on the food. Didn't have any. Wouldn't dare to order food when we couldn't even get a drink or have a place to sit and eat. When we finally did get a drink and found a place to stand and dance, a staff member picked them up and took them away ‍. So hold onto your drinks if you can get one! read more

My wife's friend raved about the holiday decorations here, so we decided to try it and take her mother with us, for lunch. It was very crowded here for a weekday afternoon, a good sign. Her mother went through three chairs, all of them wobbly till they brought out a third that was stable. My wife's mother then cracked, "They should've spent some of the money from their decorations to buy new chairs," The decorations there ARE glitzy and obviously, lots of work went into them. My chicken quesadillas were plump and tasty. My mother in law liked her French onion soup. When you go out to eat, it's an unwritten expectation that after the waitress serves your good, she checks back shortly after to check if everything is in order. This waitress never checked back and my wife's dipping sauce was too hot and spicy to use. When the waitress finally returned, to ask if we wanted boxes - yeah, that's how long we waited for her to return - my wife told her about the sauce. She said their mild sauce tends to be spicy and said we could talk to the manager. We nixed that and asked for the check. My wife couldn't eat her food because the waitress never checked back till near the meal's end. I must also say that it's being so crowded made it noisy and we couldn't hear the people at our own table. Add the lights all over the place and you get a dining experience that I wouldn't call relaxing, But it's obviously popular there. All in all, I have to wonder, if this was a weekday afternoon, how is it on Friday or Saturday night? If this is the atmosphere you like, this is your place. Great place to see Fat Mezz! This band is awesome and I love how while they are playing they are actually recording them so other patrons in the restaruant can see them playing on TV. We tried the wings with bada bing sauce and they were really great. The hamburger is good. All around a solid place to check out live music with plenty of parking. Meh. My experience here on Thursday was definitely a Tale of Two experiences. On one hand, the service was FANTASTIC. Our server, Lily, was awesome. Very friendly, very attentive, quick and pleasant. There were plenty of TVs to watch the game(s) that were on, and there was live music! On the other hand, the food was not that great, and the live music was TERRIBLE. I've heard this place can get downright out of hand on game days, but during a non Eagles Thursday night football game, it was totally fine. I can imagine though that Sunday 1pm Eagles games probably blow the lid off this place. Either way, my friend and I sat down and go to work looking over the menu. The menu is fine, with a little something for everyone. We were both FAMISHED, so we decided to get some wings, as you do, and then follow that up with something else. (A quesadilla and fries for me, a Reuben for my buddy). I went with the "tails," which are just breaded chicken tender type things, and my friend went boneless, which were shockingly small nugget balls. My tails were WAY over cooked, and chewy. The sauce was ok, but the texture of the tender left a lot to be desired. My quesadilla was boring, as it comes with just chicken and cheese, unless you upcharge $2 to put onions and peppers in it. At $12-13 already, I think it should come decked out. It IS a decent size though, but seriously, splurge for the add ons if you choose it, as it's pretty flavorless without. The fries were equally as meh. My friends boneless wings were, as mentioned, tiny, and although his Reuben LOOKED fantastic, I didn't hear any raves. *shoulder shrug emoji* Also, while I certainly appreciate live music, and the guitar player WAS good, the woman singing was BRUTAL. They took a break about 3 songs in, and I could not have been more relieved. We stayed a little over an hour, and the tails, fries, quesadillas, two beers and tip ran me about $52. Not too bad, but I certainly would have liked it better if the food and music were better. There's plenty of parking, and great service, and I HEAR the game days are a rocking affair. We've been to Billage Pub 4 times. The staff is always friendly and despite a crowded parking lot, we haven't had a parking problem. The sweet potato wedges were always delicious and we didn't mind the up charge. Last time we ordered them they weren't wedges but sweet potato tater tots. These we're greasy and obviously loaded with flour. Being gluten sensitive, this was an issue. We commented to the server about the change and how the menu still said wedges. I will go back but they need to let customers know that the wedges are gone. read more
