It pains me to write this ... I'm always honest though …read more.. Rob's quality has gone down since my last visit :( My jerk chicken wasn't as plentiful as prior, and it was a bit dry. My rice and beans was a somewhat hard in a few spots too. Damn! The yams were still killer, but my poor son got screwed out of them (he loved his tender goat and sides, BTW). (I called our order in because they take long to prepare). When we arrived, I was told "we ran out of yams." Uh, it was only Noon when I placed my order! Why wasn't I told then? Did they give someone else them? Of course I gave my son half of mine! It was so darn cold (we ate in) that I left my coat on! This was either an off day or Rob's has declined. Regardless, I'm not a gambling gal and am unfortunately done here!

We tried this place recently and I really wanted to love it. The food was okay overall. I ordered…read morethe fried chicken with mac and cheese and potato salad. The chicken was decent, but the potato salad had a bit too much mustard for my taste, and while the mac and cheese was very cheesy, it could have used more seasoning. My husband had the curry chicken and really enjoyed it, though he wished it came with rice. The service was good, which we appreciated. The ambiance was a bit dull and felt more like a takeout spot than a dine-in experience. I'm not sure I would return specifically for the soul food, but my husband would definitely go back for the curry chicken.

Today, my fiancée and I had brunch at this cozy little spot we found through the Everywhere Is…read moreQueer app, and we're so glad we did! I stuck with my usual two eggs, which were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. My fiancée ordered the Pretty Toast, their take on French toast, topped with cream cheese, pecans, and sweetened peaches. It honestly reminded me of peach cobbler! When I saw her plate, my jaw dropped--I was instantly jealous! She let me steal a couple of bites, and it was absolutely delicious. It's one of those dishes you could enjoy for breakfast, brunch, or even as a sweet snack. The food was a solid 10/10. Our server, Ben, was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. He took the time to tell us a little about the menu and even suggested we try something different. Looking back... I probably should have listened! The atmosphere was clean, cozy, and inviting. It honestly felt like sitting in your nonna's kitchen--warm, comfortable, and full of charm. We can't wait to come back and work our way through the dinner menu. If brunch was this good, we have a feeling dinner will be just as amazing!

Great to share. The artichoke cake sandwich was the sleeper hit: crispy outside, creamy inside, packed with flavor. Cozy, sentimental touch and we'll be back for dinner!
