For dinner I ordered the Broadway signature burger (Black Bean option) with pepper jack and lettuce/tomato. The black bean burger was very good and the pepper jack had some heat to it which I enjoyed. For the side I got the cajun onion straws which were very good and also had a nice heat to them. My wife got the bacon cheeseburger which I assumed she enjoyed because she ate the whole thing and a side of tots. The service was very good. The bartenders were nice and attentive. The place itself looks very clean and has some nice TVs for sports watching. The main issue which brought my rating down to a 4 is the price. The cheapest burger was $20 and that was for just a plain burger. The beer pricing was nuts, $12 for a craft beer and even the domestics were high. I will give them some credit for their happy hour and eagles game day pricing which drops the prices down considerably.

After missing out on a meal at another eatery in the area, I was able to almost completely recreate…read morethe meal and have a better experience. After making a once around in this area to see what they had to offer I came back to this establishment to dine for the evening. Upon entry I was greeted warmly and timely. I was immediately led to an actual table and had menu in hand. This was nice, just because I am dining alone doesn't mean I want to sit at a bar and feel separated from the rest of the building. I had some time to look over the menu before the server arrived. I made it simple for him as I already knew exactly what I wanted, from drink to appetizer to entree. I just stayed with water for the meal as I wasn't in the mood for anything sweet. For my appetizer I went with the Soft Pretzel and the entree was the Hangover. The Soft Pretzel is basically your jumbo pretzel. This comes served with honey mustard and cheese sauce for dipping. When this came out on the hook, it was piping hot and had the right amount of pretzel salt. This thing is massive and could easily serve as a meal for one. I picked at it until my burger came out. I also ended up taking a lot of this back to my room for snacking later in the evening. When my burger showed up I was not disappointed. As a side note, burgers are served with fries, but you can upgrade the side if you like. But at $3 for a small upgrade, no thank you, a different type of potato or a salad doesn't equal that much money. That is just my opinion. Off my soapbox now, let's discuss the burger. The Hangover is typically an 8 oz. patty freshly ground in house everyday. You can substitute for a turkey burger, black bean burger, or grilled chicken at no charge, but have to pay for a side upgrade...I digress. This particular burger is topped with an over easy egg, bacon and American cheese. More of a breakfast burger than a hangover cure to me. This thing was one of the best patty to bun ratio burgers I have ever had. I was pleasantly surprised that the patty actually looked a bit bigger than the bun. When you pop the yolk of the egg, that just adds a bit more flavor to the burger. Perfectly cooked to your liking, the bacon was crispy, they egg made it messy and the cheese held it all together. The fries were a perfect match to this, even though they make it seem like they are the basic side to this dish. If you are a yolk person, the fries are a great vessel to get any that may have dropped to the plate. I made sure to finish this and try to look like I wasn't shoving it my mouth at the same time. It was delicious. My server was excellent. Checked on me the appropriate amount of times. Was attentive to my needs and I didn't feel rushed in my dining experience. Much better than other places.

Chicken wings nekked with a side of BBQ honey sauce, mild sauce, ranch dip and an order of onion rings (not on the menu). I love their BBQ honey sauce dipped in ranch. I never had their mild wing sauce, but tried it and wasn't a fan. My mom ordered the Greek salad. Their wings come out crispy which we both enjoyed (my mom is very hard to please), the onion rings were good, and she very much liked her salad. Service was great and the ambiance is nice. Our lunch here came out cheaper than breakfast at Hash House at Tropicana. The only thing problem is that only 7 pieces of wings come in one order. That's an odd number for wings. Should be at least 10 pieces. I mean if people know your wings are good, not sure why you wouldn't offer at least 10 pieces like most WING places.

A happy hour event was also on the calendar for Thursday, meant to be a cheerful punctuation mark on a long work week. Then came the news: Wingcraft had closed its doors forever. No warning, no farewell, no wings. It is strange to feel stood up by a restaurant, but that is how it felt. One moment there was a place with burgers and beer flights, a hum of televisions and bar chatter, and the next there was only silence and a locked door. We were left wandering near the Convention Center, hungry and confused, like pilgrims whose holy site had vanished overnight. I give it two stars because once upon a time, the food was decent and the beer cold. But the sudden disappearance left us stranded, and the city felt emptier for it. Atlantic City is cruel like that, swallowing places whole and leaving only echoes where the laughter used to be.

The cashier was attentive and answered my questions about the type of burger such as it is smashed or not; she said it was smashed so I ordered my beef crunch burger well-done based on that information. Avoid one more temptation. *wink* To receive your order, you must have your receipt on hand as each order has the order number attached. Once your order number hand written on the receipt is called, then it's brought up to verify it is indeed your order and to avoid any mix ups. They will not hand you your order without the receipt they gave you. There's even a sign at the cashier to be sure folks are aware of the policy. The crunch burger was not so much a smash burger as a regular burger on a delicious brioche type bun. So, unfortunately do not expect to have those flat, crunchy edges to go with the crunch of the potato chips added to the burger. The fries I ordered with the burger were plentiful and satisfying. These satiated my hunger with the side of spicy ranch and mayonnaise as condiments. There is plenty of seating and no need to feel rushed in that area. The lettuce was a little wilted. The sauce super spicy. Nice piece of tomato. I would probably try a regular burger there but the veggie was a one and done for me.

They had a Valentine's Day dinner special that was just nothing but goodness. From the beets salad, to the 8oz filet topped with crab meat and the Chocolate Fondant for desert. We also ordered fries and truffle fries (subbed instead of regular fries), and everything tasted fantastic. That said, the pricing gave me a little pause. About $75 for two burgers, truffle fries, and sodas felt steep, but honestly, the flavor helped justify it... at least a teeny bit. Later in the evening, we returned just for drinks and dessert, which were both solid. The espresso martinis were especially good (though at nearly $20 each, expectations are high), and we had more than a few. The only real downside was service during our second visit. When we let the staff know we weren't ordering food since we had already eaten earlier, our silverware and napkins were quickly cleared and our water glasses were taken as well. I had to request that water glasses stay and be filled, which felt awkward and honestly a bit dismissive, especially given the cost of the drinks we were ordering (4 of us). Overall, excellent food and drinks, but the service inconsistency took away from the experience. With more attentive hospitality, this would easily be a 5-star spot. Solid option and they can deliver to the room if you scan from the room. We ordered and asked for it to be delivered and they said they couldn't. We returned for breakfast the next day and the food was delicious and hot! Definitely delivered...
