Truly an Atlantic City gem, small, cozy, great staff with an old school diner vibe. Now let's talk about the food!!! It was absolutely delicious, I had a simple breakfast, two sunside eggs, bacon and rye toast, and chocolate chip pancakes. Also, had the egg quesadillas (bangin) . Their house coffee was excellent. The staff were super nice and friendly.

My friend picked this spot and it's a really good choice overall. It's self seating. That's great because I'm picky about my seating. It's a very narrow restaurant. Very. Narrow. We sat at the front since it allowed us not to be next to the other patrons. Not so sure that was good choice because we were next to the front door. Like, one of the chairs at our table almost blocked the entrance. Literally. There was only one waitress, but she worked fast, very friendly, and attentive. Let's talk about the food. I ordered the cinnamon raisin French toast, scrambled eggs with cheese, and homemade fries. Everything was great. I was so into my breakfast I took pics half way into it. Sorry about that but, not really. You know that's how much I liked it. My friend enjoyed his food. He was finished before I thought to take pics. So that further proves that it was great.

Stumbled across this gem! Arrived at 9:25, seated immediately, quickly greeted by server. Ordered coffee (very good) and then ordered 2 tasty omelettes. Food was served hot in 8 minutes! We dined on the street side patio. Food was very good and large portions. Had to pack up leftovers. Finished eating at 10:00am Clean, good food, great service! Highly recommend!

What more could you want from a NJ diner? Great breakfast, great service, and great coffee! Came out of my casino early morning and didn't want to deal with the hustle and bustle, and so decided to grab breakfast in town. Came along Brittany's Cafe and the inside was super quaint and homey, just what I was looking for. Our server greeted us as soon as we walked in and we decided on the window table right in front. I decided on the breakfast quesadilla with bacon and my girlfriend ordered the same, but with ham instead of bacon. Coffee was replenished throughout our meal, which was great that I didn't have to keep asking for it! As for the quesadilla, it was just what the doctor ordered. The flour tortilla was crispy and the eggs, bacon and cheddar cheese was phenomenal. Salsa Verde added some heat to it and the home fries really hit the spot. I recommend this spot to anyone looking to grab a meal outside of the busy casinos.

Place was immaculate but tiny. My sausage links were cooked just the way I liked but my banana pancake wasn't fully done. VERY soggy on the banana side. AND it wasn't fluffy. Prices were reasonable and the staff was EXCELLENT! SUPER attentive and kind!

Late breakfast at Brittany's cafe. We sat outside on this beautiful morning. The service was phenomenal and the food was very good. Especially the French toast! They forgot my cheese in my omelette but it was still very good without it. Their coffee is strong, which I love. Grabbed a Starbucks Frappuccino to go.

We came into Atlantic City for a concert and stayed over night. We googled breakfast places in the area and this place came up. Parking: residential street. Pack patience as it may be hard to find parking. We turned left at the cafe and parked on that street. Atmosphere: diner like inside, very very small inside. We sat at the counter however if you are blessed with a back side, I don't recommend that you sit at the counter because you will get bumped by other patrons as they pass by to get to their seat. I think you will get bumped sitting anywhere due to the size of the cafe. Service: everyone was so nice. The checked on us to make sure we were ok. Food: I had the pancakes, turkey sausage patty and scrambled eggs soft with chees & onions. My eggs were not scrambled and the cheese and onions were laid on the top. The eggs were made like an omelet. All meals came with home fries. The home fries were ok, they were real potatoes! That is rare. Overall the food was ok. I would not wait in a long line to eat here. I would eat here again if the wait time is short.

After making a once around in this area to see what they had to offer I came back to this establishment to dine for the evening. Upon entry I was greeted warmly and timely. I was immediately led to an actual table and had menu in hand. This was nice, just because I am dining alone doesn't mean I want to sit at a bar and feel separated from the rest of the building. I had some time to look over the menu before the server arrived. I made it simple for him as I already knew exactly what I wanted, from drink to appetizer to entree. I just stayed with water for the meal as I wasn't in the mood for anything sweet. For my appetizer I went with the Soft Pretzel and the entree was the Hangover. The Soft Pretzel is basically your jumbo pretzel. This comes served with honey mustard and cheese sauce for dipping. When this came out on the hook, it was piping hot and had the right amount of pretzel salt. This thing is massive and could easily serve as a meal for one. I picked at it until my burger came out. I also ended up taking a lot of this back to my room for snacking later in the evening. When my burger showed up I was not disappointed. As a side note, burgers are served with fries, but you can upgrade the side if you like. But at $3 for a small upgrade, no thank you, a different type of potato or a salad doesn't equal that much money. That is just my opinion. Off my soapbox now, let's discuss the burger. The Hangover is typically an 8 oz. patty freshly ground in house everyday. You can substitute for a turkey burger, black bean burger, or grilled chicken at no charge, but have to pay for a side upgrade...I digress. This particular burger is topped with an over easy egg, bacon and American cheese. More of a breakfast burger than a hangover cure to me. This thing was one of the best patty to bun ratio burgers I have ever had. I was pleasantly surprised that the patty actually looked a bit bigger than the bun. When you pop the yolk of the egg, that just adds a bit more flavor to the burger. Perfectly cooked to your liking, the bacon was crispy, they egg made it messy and the cheese held it all together. The fries were a perfect match to this, even though they make it seem like they are the basic side to this dish. If you are a yolk person, the fries are a great vessel to get any that may have dropped to the plate. I made sure to finish this and try to look like I wasn't shoving it my mouth at the same time. It was delicious. My server was excellent. Checked on me the appropriate amount of times. Was attentive to my needs and I didn't feel rushed in my dining experience. Much better than other places.

One moment there was a place with burgers and beer flights, a hum of televisions and bar chatter, and the next there was only silence and a locked door. We were left wandering near the Convention Center, hungry and confused, like pilgrims whose holy site had vanished overnight. They also have a great $25 dinner special on the weekends, however we weren't looking to eat that heavy. But the live music on weekends at 7pm brought me in without the specials. We started with a down East blackberry cider $8, and a wanderback Hugo pilsner $7. We took our time sipping slowly while the band's set up and began to play. I think our server was more eager for us to make a food order than we were to eat yet. But when we finally did order, we chose a Tennessee Avenue tycoon salad and the "Phish" grilled fish tacos on corn tortillas. The salad was fresh but ordinary, with grilled chicken, blue cheese, egg and bacon. Spouse opted for some sort of orange dressing instead of the normal avocado dressing, perhaps it was the same one I loved on the fish tacos, a chipotle aoli. The Phish tacos were on soft corn tortillas that needed more time on the flat grill with a little oil to crisp them up! The fish was nice and white with good sized pieces in each taco. The cabbage slaw inside was wet, mashed avocado and so was the aoli, so a little gloppy but good even if it fell apart. These tacos are normally served with a side of chips, so I asked what options I had besides potato. Our server happily volunteered a grilled vegetable side which I loved until I found out it was an $8 upcharge of which he didn't inform me when ordering. That's an extreme amount, for not advising the customer prior. We stayed for a second round, I had another blackberry cider because it was delicious. Spouse switched to the Blue Horizon Kolsch, but apparently it was high test because it was $10. It was a lovely evening but, room for improvement. The band was fantastic, played all our favorites and we stayed a lot longer as a result of the great weather and the lovely picnic tables in the "garden". The beer hall has done a great job making this a fun hangout!

I stopped in for dinner around 6:15 PM and, as always, the atmosphere was welcoming. There's indoor seating, a full bar, and a fantastic outdoor space complete with games, a fire pit, and one of the best music playlists in town--often accompanied by live entertainment. It's the kind of place where locals and visitors naturally mix together, creating a fun and friendly energy. One thing that always makes me smile is the sign when you walk in explaining that the bartenders and servers may be outside and asking guests to let them know they've arrived. Honestly, who could blame them? With the fresh salt air coming off the Atlantic Ocean and the outdoor atmosphere they've created, it's exactly where I'd want to be too. Tonight I ordered the crab cake platter, served with garlic French fries and coleslaw. The crab cakes were very good, packed with flavor, and the fries were crispy, garlicky, and absolutely delicious. A simple meal done right. Everything was fresh and appealing, I eat small portions so I took one crab cake and some fries home with me. I did ask about dessert, nothing was available, I don't do sweets frequently, I'm surprised they don't request Momma Chocolate, at Bar32 to make some extras for days they are closed. My server, Bella, was upbeat, bubbly, and attentive throughout the evening, adding to an already enjoyable experience. Parking is easy, with both free and paid options nearby, plus curbside access. Whether you're a local looking for a regular hangout or a visitor exploring beyond the casinos, Tennessee Avenue Beer Hall is well worth the short walk from the Boardwalk. Highly recommended for good food, cold drinks, great music, and some of the best local vibes in Atlantic City.

And we had to wait another 10 minutes for the next table. After that it takes 19 minutes, yes I timed it, before server shows up at our table for the first time. I would have expected appetizers to be served at that duration. Later, I timed same thing for the neighboring table, still 14 minutes. I understand about being understaffed and overbooked. But in this case manager was present at the front and had not 2 but 3 greeter girls available. Why one or 2 of them did not convert to wait stuff? R just close half the tables. But no, we will keep running with a reduced service available. Guess what do I see next? Another busy server working exactly half the tables in my proximity who refuses to even stop by for a second. Nope, they each have their own tables and do not share tips - so he has absolutely no interest in helping those that are half a step away. And this is my favorite moment of the visit. You might get that perfect serving or you might get completely cold undercooked meal that waited 30 minutes for you. Just get a steak, and order a custom readiness level: this way one will have to be next to it most of the cooking time. So, we get couple burgers with truffle fries and calamari. I'm looking for the menu section for English ale, and the only choice is Guinness. This is the moment where we should have left, but there would be not enough time to eat somewhere else decent. Calamari is ok, only ok. I was expecting something much better. I can easily take you to 3 places in central NJ that will give you best calamari of your life. Drinks came after app. So, even bartender is busy???? The truffle fries is the only start I'm giving this place in my review. But I guess that they come pre-seasoned in a frozen package, so it's hard to mess them up. Burger had a really good idea of combining pulled meat with your typical hamburger, and it would have been great it patty was cooked to order. I think mine was seating in a warm drawer for ages and then microwaved. Just good enough to eat. Overall this is the worst Gordon experience I've had, hint: try fish and chips place in Vegas. I will not be coming back even if some else is paying. Gordon, I would love to make you the best burger I can at home, then serve you some of the best ale and scotch money can get, and then we can drive to AC and shake up this place. PS. Manager was made aware of all troubles we had and yet did not made any attempt to play bullet out of you-know-what by offering round of drinks or cutting the bill in half. PPS. I run out of Guinness and server was never around to order a replacement. This alone cuts the tip in half in my books.

As fans of Guy Fieri, it was cool to visit a spot featured on his show and see what he tried from the menu. The food lived up to expectations. The corn and crab chowder was delicious, and the Baconaise burger was great. I tried the Fried Rice burger bowl, which was a unique twist I hadn't seen before, offering a really nice balance of flavors. They also have a solid selection of beer options on tap. The only downside was the lack of a changing table in the bathroom. It is somewhat understandable given that it's a tap house and not a typical spot for young kids, but still worth noting. Overall, the service was good and the food was tasty, making it a worthwhile stop.

Yet, the wait staff seemed overwhelmed. We waited an hour for our food and then getting the waitress' attention after that took a double arm waive. What really set me off was that there was a large party charge for 7 people for $50. It seemed pretty obvious to me that the waitress understood that her 20% was predetermined so she could get away with subpar service and still collect a nice tip. After that experience, I'm no longer surprised that they were near empty during prime time on a Saturday night in August. If you treat people that way, they eventually stop coming.

It was absolutely packed with premium meats, fresh tomatoes, onions, and hot pepper relish on a fresh roll. Every bite was loaded with flavor, and the quality of the ingredients really stood out. The portion was incredible--this wasn't a skimpy sandwich by any means. At $12 for a half sub, it felt like one of the best food values I've had in a long time. If you're visiting Atlantic City, White House Subs is a must. It's easy to see why they've been an institution for generations. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town. Five stars.
