Large enough for a meal with side of miso soup -- which was chuck full of micro-diced tofu and greens. Another table someone ordered the gorgeous Sweetheart Roll -- served in composed heart shapes. Ambitious, she'd ordered that and another specialty roll so more than half or each went home with her. The bento box her husband ordered looked very large but an added side of veggies was called for as barely any but a garnish worth in the box. I hear they have some dessert items but didn't see anyone with room enough to order anything. For the non-sushi lovers in your party, there are many chicken or beefy hibachi offerings. Very limited seating so reserve, go early, or do take away. They moved things around to accommodate my recent solo visit for dinner at 7pm on a Monday. I was headed back to Philly after this last Ventnor dinner so I ordered a Rainbow Roll to go. I didn't want the experience to end. I enjoyed half of it for lunch next day. The rest for dinner with large homemade salad. It had been packed tight and stayed fresh in my fridge. I ordered miso soup to start, and you really can't go wrong with that. For my appetizer, I ordered the Sushi Pizza. For my main course, I ordered the Triple Delight Sashimi. I'm very picky when it comes to sashimi, and the quality here was fantastic. The slices were thick, fresh, and simply melted in your mouth. My boyfriend ordered the veggie tempura and couldn't stop talking about how much he enjoyed it. It looked crispy and smelled delicious. I'm pretty sure I spoke with the owner, who was an extremely nice lady. She came over to refill our water and see how we were enjoying our meal, which really added to the experience. I forgot the name of the cake I ordered, but it was sweet, simple, and light, a perfect way to end my meal. I love this place so much. I asked ChatGPT where I should go for sushi, and it recommended Rainbow for its prices, portions, and because it was one of the most highly raved-about spots. ChatGPT didn't lie! The chirashi was beautifully presented and came with 13 pieces of sashimi. Everything was pretty good! Sometimes the cuts of fish weren't extremely neat but in terms of freshness it was pretty good. Mildly sweet, very refreshing and everything blended together well. The hibachi dinner was very good, everything was hot and made to order. The mango Mille crepe had fresh cream and fresh mango chunks. The mango ice cream was the sweetest but it wasn't overly sweet, also very refreshing desserts.
