Dropped into the Rainbow for a Rainbow Roll and was not disappointed. The signature roll was delicious as was the Miso Soup and Ginger salad. The sushi combination was very good as well (however not as good as the Rainbow Roll). The restaurant is small but comfortable and has a few tables outside. Came here with a group excited to have sushi. The staff was very nice and provided us with great service. They were attentive with our drinks and checked on us during the meal. Food came out with decent timing considering it was a little busy. Takoyaki was cooked well! Not too mushy on the inside and the octopus had a good chew. I ordered chirashi which came with miso soup and salad. The miso soup was standard as expected and I really liked the ginger salad dressing. For chirashi I usually expect sashimi on top of a bowl of rice but this was presented differently. The rice was on the side instead, which was okay. The chirashi was beautifully presented and came with 13 pieces of sashimi. Everything was pretty good! Sometimes the cuts of fish weren't extremely neat but in terms of freshness it was pretty good. Not quite on par with my favorite sushi place in north Jersey but pretty good for the area. The American dream specialty roll we got was yummy! They do a good job with their rolls in terms of pretty presentation. read more

I did not even have enough time to order from somewhere else for lunch since they canceled it so late. I use to order from here often, will not order anymore. Small cute place, they do allow dine in, we went at 5:30 and we were the only ones dining in. Everything we got was very delicious. My favorite was the Snow White slush drink. Mildly sweet, very refreshing and everything blended together well. The hibachi dinner was very good, everything was hot and made to order. The mango Mille crepe had fresh cream and fresh mango chunks. The mango ice cream was the sweetest but it wasn't overly sweet, also very refreshing desserts. Everything we ordered was delicious and I would recommend. Service was awesome, she was attentive and sweet, best service around. All the food we got came only to $41 which is not bad. read more

This is the best sushi I have had in a long time. The sushi was so fresh and incredibly tasty. We started with the shrimp shumai and also ordered the sushi and sashimi for two. It was plenty for two people. It is also a byob. It's a small restaurant and they look to do a good amount of takeout too. I walked in to a nice little place with a few tables, nice ambience. I took a seat by the window. The waiter was very nice, he should get a raise for just being friendly. The rest of the staff needs work on friendliness. I said thank you to the girl who brought me my green tea slushie, no reply, no smile, just a weird flippant look like whatever.. Then they brought me a California roll by mistake instead of the Philadelphia roll I ordered, not a problem the waiter brings it back to the sushi chef right in front of me. Tells him and he just darts a look at me, how dare you dispute my California roll. Sorry I don't like bland Cali roll. Then they all start making jokes in another language which made me feel kinda left out but whatever. Well they brought the Philly roll and shrimp tempura roll. The tempura roll was really very good. The Philadelphia roll just lacked the Philly love like the Philly roll Im used to back home. Maybe I should have taken the Cali roll. The green tea slush was really good. The girl that brought my check was not friendly at all, and gave me a dirty look, what in thee I don't know what's the deal but maybe they all need raises. Sushi is fresh and tasty. Our cooked chicken dish was over cooked and dry. Was told to pick up at 6pm. Still waiting at 6:30 because they hadn't started the cooked dish.
