Down hill fast. I don't know what happened to this restaurant. Usually it's ok, not great but ok. I ordered wonton egg drop soup and general tso chicken. The soup had very little flavor but the dumplings were ok. The chicken had a very strange texture, I'm not convinced it was even chicken and also not very tasty. I don't think I'll go back. And on top of that, they charge an arm and a leg. read more

I purchases 2 soups - Hot and Sour and wanton egg drop. Both were ok to wontons too thick in soup, ukk! Ordered chicken in garlic sauce w/ fried rice. I did not get too many pieces of chicken in my order, not really seasoned well and the fried rice was only yellow rice. The service was good, really nice man. It was takeout so did not sit. I ordered from this restaurant at 7:19pm after verifying they delivered to my location. I was told it would be 35-45 minutes. an hour later I called back and was told the driver had left. 20 minutes later I called again and was told 20 - 30 minutes. I kept calling and getting weird times from 5 - 10 minutes to 75 - 85 minutes. once I even got told that the driver was "doing simmering else". At no point was anyone able to tell me exactly where this guy was. I kept getting that he was "close" or "on the way" for at least 40 minutes. Got the manager. Canceled the order. He could give no response but apologize for the inconvenience. He could not say where the driver had been all that time or why. I don't think there ever was a driver. I think it was raining and no one wanted to go out. At no point would they put me in contact with this mysterious driver not could anyone say where he was. Seriously never again. read more

Live here on Brigantine Island. First introduced to YH back in 2003. Was good to very good, depending on which item you ordered. Some where around 2014, it seemed to change ownership. Quality was hit or miss. Glad to say the current ownership has returned to the original quality. Prices are fair and take out is prompt. Glad they are back. read more

The food was pretty good, however the employee at the counter was so annoyed that I came into the place, and disturbed him, that I thought maybe I was being punked. He stood there, looking at his phone, and listening with headphones. I stood there waiting for him to acknowledge me. I finally asked him if he worked there...he said yes, cashed me out, and was annoyed that I asked for soy sauce and some plastic forks. It really was bizarre. read more

The food was Fantastic!!! We ordered a lot of food. The salmon avocado roll was really good, the salmon was very fresh and delicious! The pork dumplings were very tasty, and big! The sauce complemented the dumplings very well! The shrimp with cashew nuts was delicious! We also got both pork and shrimp eggrolls and when they arrived, they were still crispy! The scallion pancakes were ok. I thought they were a touch too oily, but overall they we still good. General tso's chcicken was excellent! And then there was the rice which is always good! My wife and I ate here for the first time, ate at PFChangs the previous night. Yuki Hana in Brigantine never had many cars out front, so I was leary. Yelp reviews were positive, so we went in. This restaurant does an incredibly huge take out service. We sat down in their dining room. Nice booths and clean restaurant with background music playing. Three booths where people were eating at 6:00 p.m. We ordered: vegetable lo mein, Hawaiin Roll, Casino roll, sweet potato roll, fried vegetable dumplings, vegetable fried rice small, vegetable lomein small, sweet potato roll, Teriyaki "Japanese tofu", salad, soup and hot tea and waters. Totally killer dinner for $72. Oh yeah, we got a roll to- go as well for the late night munchies. Our server was pleasant, asked if we were doing OK, and refilled our waters. The two chefs we watched make our sushi rolls. The sushi rolls were awesome. This menu is quite extensive. They specialize in both Japanese and Chinese selections. Their website is straightforward. Too many take out orders to count were picked up in our one hour visit. It was worth driving into Brig for this selection, this quality and freshness. PFChangs can not compete with their menu and certainly can't touch their prices. A definite 5-star review, we loved it and will be bringing a much larger family in the weeks to come. We picked up an order of the Szechuan chicken, broccoli and garlic sauce and veggie lo Mein when we arrived to Brigantine late on a Friday night. Pick up was very easy and they seem to be overly cautious about Covid restrictions and keeping everything very sanitary. Food was decent. It was hot and seemed fresh. The sauce seemed very similar on all the dishes but the lo mein was kind of dry. Overall we were happy with our meal. read more

We had a fabulous visit to our favorite sushi restaurant in Brigantine New Jersey! This is a great place to eat sushi, Thai food and of course Chinese food. The sushi is our particular favorite and it's so fresh and there is such a wide variety of items. At this restaurant it's a bring your own bottle (BYOB), you can enjoy your favorite beverages while trying all the different menu items here. Looking for something different on the island, we popped over to Yuki Hana for dinner last night. I was craving sushi...so we went Japanese and not Chinese. We ordered some vegetable tempura and a few simple rolls. The tempura came out hot and fast, maybe too hot. I have had vegetable tempura at other places and found they had a good mix of veggies. Not so much here. We got eggplant, sweet potato, one piece of broccoli, and taro root. The taro root ended up tasting like paste, which as you can imagine, was not very good. The rolls were ok, though they stayed with me through the night and I wasn't loving that. The service was fast and good. While it isn't the restaurant's fault, there was a noisy family next to us which was distracting and annoying. What did bother me the most was that there were fruit flies around our table. I know in a restaurant they are probably common, but they gross me out. Where there are fruit flies, there is rotting food. Yuck. read more

How ecstatic am I that there is sushi this fantastic so close to my condo?! FRIGGIN' THRILLED. My rating Yuki Hana at 5 stars may seem a little capricious, but...nah! They totally deserve it. Mine and boyfriend's first sit-down dinner after relocating to Brigantine, I was probably a little more excited than he at the prospect of delighting in raw fish. Yuki Hana's interior is lovely without being stuffy or pretentious. We sat ourselves in a booth, but I'd love to sit at the sushi bar sometime. There was a back dining room that looked cozy and was more private. Boyfriend, of course, stuck to the Chinese menu. I ventured into the world of Japanese and did not look back. He ordered hot and sour soup, sweet and sour chicken with pork fried rice, and an eggroll. I tried a Crystal Roll (spicy blue crab and avocado inside topped with spicy crunch tuna and spicy tobiko) and an order of salmon sashimi. We also ordered steamed dumplings as an appetizer. Boyfriend's hot and sour soup was the best we've tried. New Melaka's in AC is a close second, but this soup just had so much unexpected flavor. The "hot" and "sour" were very present and both profiles were very identifiable. Even the mushrooms had an exquisite, meaty texture and flavor. the steamed dumplings were yummy and filling, maybe a little too filling as I left a decent amount of dough on the plate. Hot and delicious, nonetheless. Our entrees arrive and are both beautifully presented. My sashimi, though averagely priced, was 3 thick slices of buttery, delicately flavored salmon. Most sushi joints provide two pieces per order, so this definitely tipped the scales in Yuki's favor. The Crystal Roll was huge, delicious, and fresh. I have vacillated between whether or not I think it was a little too pricey at $12.95. But considering the size, the freshness, and the use of blue crab, I think that was a fair price. I would not hesitate to order it again next time, save for the fact that I'll most likely be eager to try everything else on their menu. I can't speak to boyfriend's sweet and sour chicken, though I'm sure you can all guess...he thought it was excellent. I will say that his fried rice looked moist and flavorful. Yuki Hana is also the only place in South Jersey (I've seen) that offers Toro. Huge thumbs up. So they're BYOB, offer free delivery with a super-low ($10) minimum, AND the food was spectacular? I will be here way more than is reasonably necessary. read more
