Very blah to look on the inside so much so that I didn't even take pic of the inside. If you are looking for ambiance , "THIS AINT IT". Order your food and leave. They have a couple of table sitting on the side but it isn't very inviting so fast forward and get your food and leave. I have been here a few times. The food has been okay. I mostly like the whiting because it is fresh, I don't have to get my hands messy, or make my house smelly from the fried fish and grease smell. The fish is light and tasty just like I like it with a crisp. They have sides like string beans but they are canned so I skipped that experience. They also have mac n cheese, and more. It you can't do better or don't feel like cooking "soul food" well then you can get there sides for a quick fix. I happy with getting my fish. They are relatively quick and seem clean. They are not much for communication but they make sure to say thank you. That's it for now.

D7. Turkey Wings Dinner Platter

Definitely a solid place for food and with good prices. The fish is always hot and fresh and the Turkey wings are tender a must try.

Great soul food. Great prices! I'm sure they own E.C Fish Market as well food & menus are very similar. Both are worth checking out if you are in search of good soul food & seafood

Good food, good prices, friendly staff. Substantial portions. They have been in business for several years, they don't disappoint.

Just ok. Not enough seasoning at all. Ordered 4 platters and everything was bland. The cornbread was super dry so was friend chicken.

No, this is not soul food. The sides are tasteless, scallops were almost just fried batter. Go somewhere else.

Whoa....settle down other reviewer......one star? Yikes. Granted, this isn't French Laundry, but…read moreit's decent seafood at a normal price. Let's break it down: JUST finished my meal from here. First of all, this place is new, and that's why its zinging the way it is. I literally had to leave last saturday when I was standing in the line that was outside the door, and found out that it was an hour before I could ORDER, then another before I'd get my food. Nah. SO, we decided to try a Wednesday, and although it was better wait wise, it wasn't by much. I still had to wait about 15 minutes to order, than an hour for the food to be ready. (Luckily I live close, and just went home until they called to tell me the food was ready. Something they do here, which is appreciated.) About the food; a mixed bag. Some good, some "meh," some bad. The Good: - My steamed platter (snow crab) was good. Nothing to write home about, but a tasty meal. It came with a cluster of crabs, 3 jumbo shrimp, a few red bliss potatoes, some broccoli and carrots, and a piece of corn. All of that was cooked in a creole butter garlic sauce, and then seasoned with some old bay type creole seasoning on top. The crabs were cooked properly (no flimsy shells), the shrimp were good, and a very good size, the potatoes, broccoli and carrots were also fine. - Collard greens were pretty good. - The sweet potato cheesecake was actually really good. I'm not sure it's almost $4 a slice good, and I have no idea if they make it or buy it from say, Costco, and then put sweet potato puree on the top, but it was tasty either way. The Meh: - Crab cakes. A lady in line Saturday told me that she was BACK to get the crab cakes again, as they were "the best she's ever had," but that lady must have never left Willingboro NJ. They weren't terrible, but they were small, not actual lump crab meat, and they were slathered with this sweet brown sauce that really took away from the taste. - Although the creole garlic butter sauce is good, I could've used a little bit more seasoning. - Serving sizes are a little stingy. The collard greens and fries were a little lite. The Bad: - The corn was POSITIVELY INEDIBLE. I was about to give it to my dog before my wife asked to try it, and she was instantly upset that she did. It was mushy and absolutely gross, but this is a common problem with crab boils when it comes to corn. - The side of fries was gross. One, for a large, it was a small portion, but that was ok, because they weren't worth eating anyway. I think the fries, and they way they prepare them might be ok, but it was obvious that our fries had been sitting out for quite some time. You know how a fry tastes after you have them bag up your burger at a restaurant, and you try to reheat them to eat the next day? Yeah, that. They also come with some creole seasoning whether you like it or not, so there's that. Overall, I'm not MAD at the meal I had, but I won't be in any kind of rush to go back. The people working there seemed really nice, and I did appreciate that they call to let you know your food is ready, so you can go do something for the insanely long wait that you currently have to endure. Again, they are BRAND new to this location, so maybe they'll get in a groove, but as it stands now, I'd say skip it for now, because the wait is no where near worth the food you'll get at the end of it.

Attempted to support because it's a new business in the neighborhood and the options for seafood…read moreare limited. Wait time to place an order was 45 minutes and prep of food was about an hour. The customer service was appropriate, however I am undoubtedly disappointed in the quality of the food. Not only was the wait (2 hours) overbearing but the product that was served was subpar. By the time I got home and realized what I received it was too late. Attempted to call however no one answered. Moreover there wasn't a website or email to reach out regarding the lack of quality quantity of the food.
