My friend from Texas loved this place so much she made us go twice in one week…read more The lemon blueberry ricotta pancakes are stellar. The fluff, the flavor, the size, you will fall in love with these hotcakes. With or without syrup, that's how you know you got a good pancake. The shrimp and grits. Unbelievable flavor. ONLY issue, take the tails off. And the bowl shape. I was struggling to get the trails off and with a knife and then there's no where to lean the knife so yes maybe the knife flung itself to the floor with grits on it. But that dish is damn good. Service is always great, friendly, with quick service.

Mother's Day brunch at Sabrina's Café with my beautiful daughter We made sure to get there early…read morebecause if you know anything about this neighborhood gem, you know they don't take reservations. This wasn't my first time at Sabrina's, so I already knew the service would probably be a little different with the Mother's Day rush -- and understandably so. Overall, the food was still good! We started with their Blueberry Lavender Lemonade, made with blueberry and lavender, then garnished with fresh blueberries and lemon. It was so refreshing and honestly one of my favorite parts of the meal. For our entrées, I ordered the Shrimp & Grits and added salmon, while my daughter got the Teriyaki Salmon Bowl. For appetizers, we tried one of their "Heated Rivalry" May specials: Shane Hollander's Jambalaya Benedict. It came with shredded potato waffles, two poached eggs, fried shrimp, Creole sauce, smoked beef andouille sausage, pico de gallo, and green onions. Now listen... it looked AMAZING on the menu and had so much potential, but the taste was a little underwhelming for me. The dish came out room temperature, almost like it had been sitting for a while, and I really think it would've hit differently if it had been served hot -- especially the potato waffles. Still, I understand they were extremely busy and trying to accommodate everyone during the holiday rush. Sabrina's is definitely still a local favorite that I'll continue to support. Overall rating for this visit: 8/10

I stuck with my usual two eggs, which were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. My fiancée ordered the Pretty Toast, their take on French toast, topped with cream cheese, pecans, and sweetened peaches. It honestly reminded me of peach cobbler! When I saw her plate, my jaw dropped--I was instantly jealous! She let me steal a couple of bites, and it was absolutely delicious. It's one of those dishes you could enjoy for breakfast, brunch, or even as a sweet snack. The food was a solid 10/10. Our server, Ben, was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. He took the time to tell us a little about the menu and even suggested we try something different. Looking back... I probably should have listened! The atmosphere was clean, cozy, and inviting. It honestly felt like sitting in your nonna's kitchen--warm, comfortable, and full of charm. We can't wait to come back and work our way through the dinner menu. If brunch was this good, we have a feeling dinner will be just as amazing!

We were seated at a banquette corner spot which was great. Interior is way smaller than I anticipated from seeing pics but is cozy. Our server, River, was friendly and informative. Food came out at a nice pace. This was EASILY the best meal I have had out in 10-15 years. Food was stellar. Each dish was unique, well seasoned, interesting, and balanced. Positively delicious. I am irritated I waited so long to come here. I don't live near Collingswood. Prix fixe tasting menus are typically not my first choice. My eyes missed the note on their site that ala carte is only available on Wednesdays and Thursdays. I have dietary restrictions and I didn't think I was that hungry. My dining partner is an omnivore but I eat vegan part of the week. I am more a vegetarian leaning pescatarian. I do not eat offal, beef, or pork. I am allergic to beef. Tasting menus are typically problematic for me. This menu was so varied and perfectly proportioned. I had choices I was very happy with. We walked out satisfied but not grotesque. What we ordered- sicilian tuna - parsley, capers, calabrian chili, sourdough (supplemental $5) watermelon & stone fruit - mint-chili vinaigrette, fennel, stracciatella lumache - pancetta, charred corn, cherry tomato, soft egg risotto - zucchini, szechuan butter, pistachio, lemon honey Branzino to share - whole fish - tomato, black olive, fennel, burnt orange caramelized pâte feuilletée - yuzu, blackberry mint gelée, matcha crumb pâte à choux - craquelin, corn semifreddo, peach-jalapeño reduction Highly, highly recommend.

The selection is massive, and I somehow ended up with a Blueberry Cobbler beer. Yes, blueberry cobbler. In a beer. It sounds like something invented at 2 a.m. after several other beers, but damn if it wasn't fantastic. Then came the fish and chips. I spent a semester in London when I was in college, so I've eaten my share of fish and chips. Some great. Some served by angry British people who clearly wanted me to go back to America. The Pour House version was top-notch. Crispy batter. Great fish. Not greasy. The kind of meal where you stop talking for a few minutes because you're busy eating. The place itself has that comfortable neighborhood bar feel. Nothing complicated. Good beer. Good food. A place you can walk into and settle in for a while. The Pour House is officially going into our normal rotation. And with the number of beers on tap, I figure I have a lot of research left to do.

We love trying new brews, and the P3 Hefe from Phase Three Brewing was a standout. Finding a good hefeweizen on a menu isn't always easy, so this was a real treat. Beyond the impressive beer selection, they offer a full American‑style menu with an elevated twist. We spent a beautiful day on their dog friendly outdoor patio, which is welcoming to leashed and friendly pups. Service is warm and attentive, and the convenience of a free onsite parking lot makes the whole experience even better.

She gave me a recommendation and tried their cheesesteak sandwich. I was very satisfied with the results. Matt did an excellent job cooking. I would totally go back here again, the service and the food alone was totally worth it. We ordered through Grubhub (they are not available on DoorDash), and the food arrived quickly and was bagged up nicely. The cheesesteak I ordered from their regular menu didn't seem to have much to it. The steak flavor was okay and the roll was super soft, but there just wasn't enough filling to justify the price, especially when you can find $18 cheesesteaks elsewhere that are absolutely packed. The hot and honey chicken cheesesteak had a tasty flavor and the sauce they use is spot on for that style of sandwich, but it still felt a little light on overall fullness. The fries weren't anything special, and some were sadly still cold and not salted. The poppers definitely seemed frozen and undercooked since you could still see the cheese inside separating instead of fully melted. Sadly, this either wasn't our moment to order from Champs or this is just the way they do things. Maybe we will circle back another time to give this Philly sports bar a second shot.

The restaurant was very busy on this Saturday night and I was glad to see them doing so well. Service was excellent all night long even with how busy they were. Our server stopped by several times to see how we were doing and so did the hostess/owner's wife. I would describe Wanda as elevated American and French influenced. We ordered the short rib, the chicken, and a fish special. All three dishes were excellent. However, the stand out was the chicken and the incredible sauce. They also served really delicious housemade bread. For dessert we had the bread pudding and the chocolate torte. The restaurant is very simple inside but still charming. There is downstairs seat or in the main room, balcony seating, and also a small private room for functions. Prices were in the $25-$40 range for entrées. The menu is diverse, but not overwhelming. They also serve brunch on Saturday and Sunday. We really enjoyed our meal there and would definitely go back. 4.5 Yelp stars.
