If you are forced to sit through a meal here, I'm told the lobster ravioli is a safe bet. We have ordered twice since our wonderful experience on our first visit. Second time was bland and tasteless. Tonight was a make or break. welp, it was a break. Penne vodka with chicken dinner... chicken was raw. It was literally a bowl of heavy cream with a few floating tomatoes. 100% not safe to eat and went right into the garbage. I did take a few bites and it was god awful before realizing the chicken was raw. Let's pray I don't get sick. We won't be returning which is really sad because our first go was stellar. Their pizza is very tasty. We ordered it with black olives, green peppers, and onions. This may seem odd to say, but we like the way they sliced the onions and olives. It really does make a difference. The crust was delicious. Soft with the perfect crunch. And for dessert - Tiramisu and Dark Side of the Moon. Delicious. Both were moist and tasted fresh. My only criticism, and this is with every place that I review and that delivers - DO NOT PUT COLD FOOD ON TOP OF THE HOT FOOD ITEMS. The desserts were put on the hot pizza so, they started to melt and not in a good way. Luckily, it was only a 7 minute drive. Not sure if it is the restaurant that does it or the delivery person, but more communication, and common sense, needs to be conducted. Lunch last week on a return trip from Philly. Nice looking place just off Rt. 73 between Berlin and Marlton. Very nice inside, was greeted promptly and seated in a booth on the Berlin side. Very complete menu with lots of choices. I got the Chicken Florentine in a cream sauce. Very good and cream sauce is very rich. A good amount of food for lunch. Wife grabbed it from me about halfway through so I wouldn't stuff myself. Glad she did - great lunch next day. Wife got pasta with white beans in a white wine sauce. She loved it. Pasta and beans are a favorite. Cup of chicken escarole soup was only minus. Chicken was tough and stringy. Broth and rest of soup was excellent. Very good heated rolls with lunch. read more

In my eyes there are two kinds of Italian restaurants - The Olive Gardens of the world and then the more authentic Italian restaurants. I would def have to say that Tullia's is more on the authentic side of things. I can't really comment on the decor or ambiance b/c both times I've tried Tullia's I've gone the delivery route. Their service is prompt and both times I ordered the person on the other end of the line was very patient and full of suggestions. I'm super picky so I always change about five things about my meal (yes, I'm one of those) and some people don't have the patience for that, but Tullia's was on point. Now for the good stuff - the food. Their calamari is decent. Not wonderful, but passable. The eggplant manicotti is good, but dont expect the Olive Garden kind. In this one you can actually taste eggplant since it's not drenched in Mozerella. (Don't get me wrong, I'm as big of a mozerella fan as they come and I happen to like Olive Garden) The hot spinach is pretty good although I would get it without the Prosciuto next time. Their sandwhiches are on point. The special steak sandwhich is pretty good and HUGE at only $6!!!! The eggplant manicotti is somewhere around $16 so if you're on a budget try their sandwhiches. Overall, I would probably order from them again. If you get delivery toss the rolls they give you in the oven for just a couple of min - you won't be sorry - they taste simply AMAZING! read more

This BYOB wasn't terrible, but isn't someplace that I will likely be returning to. The bread was very good, comes out hot and soft on the inside. The meal comes with a simple salad, which was the same side salad as you'd find anywhere else. I had tortellini with blush sauce for my meal. I thought that it was under seasoned, I put quite a bit of pepper on it. The tortellini wasn't made in house (but no one ever makes their tortellini in house). Spent $65 (not including tip) on 2 entrees and 1 app. The app was good - however 1 stuffed mushroom cap for $13.99?? If there was 3 tiny pieces of crabmeat in the cap it was alot..... I had the Eggplant Parm......Don't know where they got this recipe however it was TERRIBLE...with 2 pieces of sliced cheese on top - REALLY??? TASTELESS and looked terrible on the plate. I brought 1/2 of it home and the Dogs would not even eat it. Fiancee had a Shrimp dish that was bland - with 3 shrimp (for $24+)...Are you kidding! I went to Tulia's yesterday for my job's After the Holiday Holiday Party for the 1st time despite driving past this restaurant everyday for 4 years. Omg, I will absolutely be returning. Everything from the service from the waitress to the desert was sooo good. I had the Shrimp Special which was a pasta dish with perfectly cooked jumbo shrimp, lump crab meat, artichokes, capers, peppers, and tomatoes in a light tasting wine sauce. It was a good portion and enough to take home for the next day. The coconut gelato desert was divine and the coconut serving bowl added a cute touch. We had our sons baptism luncheon here 7 years ago. This was our go-to place during the lockdown. Since then, we can not stop eating here! Once a week we try to order something new and have never been disappointed!!! The chicken Florentine is out of this world. Unfortunately we had a problem bad enough to leave a negative review. My wife's chicken marsala was so tough with fat she literally could not eat it. I tried to chew two pieces and couldn't. But that's not the entire problem. I question their quality control, but it can happen anywhere. No, the serious problem is when the waitress stopped by I politely said my wife can't eat the chicken it's so fatty. Her only response was, "Oh I'm sorry". From our restaurant experience, that's unforgivably bad customer service, especially considering their entrees are pricey for this area. The only proper response to a customer who can't eat their meal is, "I'm sorry, would you like something else?" Failing that, of course you're going to lose the customer and get a bad review. We don't fault the waitress, she was nice. But the restaurant surely trains their staff (or fails to train them) what to do when the customer has a problem. My lasagna was tasty and that ended up being the only meal for both of us. The clincher is, I emailed the restaurant and explained what happened. Weeks later, no response. So I'm leaving a negative review which I hate to do, and we won't be back. read more

The salad was almost invisible on the plate. My wife's stuffed pork chop was still pink/red inside and bleeding. Very under cooked. My chicken cacatore was also el-dente. While we were at this dump a very large and loud party was here, we asked to be moved to another area of the restruant. We were told there was no where else available. The place was almost empty except us and this large loud party. Some of the children from to party we're wrestling on the floor and running around the restaruant. After a mediocre meal here over 5 years ago, we decided to give Tullia's another try. It was not crowded for a Saturday night which should have served as a warning. The Caesar Salad was bitter and had peppers in it. Who puts peppers in a caesar salad anyway? My wife's house salad was the best part of her meal. The bread was decent and I want to give credit where credit is due. The food service was very, very slow. The wait for our entrees was way too long. During our wait, the waitress never checked on us to see if we needed more drinks or bread. We waited for over an hour after placing our order to get our food. It was the type of wait that you contemplate getting up and walking out. It was also a long wait between placing our orders and getting our salads as well. I would like to say that the wait was worth it. It wasn't. I seriously was looking around for Gordon Ramsay from Kitchen Nightmares to pop up with his cameras. My wife's meatballs tasted premade and were expensive. I had Pollo Luigi which was very different than described on the menu. I watched the grease coagulate in the sauce as I tried to eat it. The couple at the next table started an argument with their waitress and actually refused to pay their bill because their food was so bad. I am nauseous as I write this and hoping that I can keep what I ate down and not get sick. I am really disappointed and can state that this was a very bad experience. This will be our last time at this restaurant. There was a couple that came in as we were getting our check and asked to be moved because of a bad odor. We smelled it too and saw them move to another table. They sat there for a few minutes and then got up and walked out. I think we should have done the same. read more

My husband and I went for lunch for the first time and were very disappointed. We both started with lentil soup which we love but this soup was completely tasteless. We both agreed that it tasted like warm water. We tol the waitress and she said the chef probably didn't taste it before serving. She said he probably did not put salt and pepper. Huge disappointment :( Pass this place all the time and had to give it a try even though it always looks dead. I decided to go here for a family gathering. Everyone of us left saying we would never be back. Appetizer clams casino was pathetic and small for price. Crab mushrooms were ok but again very small. I personally had the chicken picante which was ok but there was not a caper in site lol. My mother and brother both ordered shrimp entree which they both stopped eating after few bites. We have had two family events here. One as recent as this weekend and the people have always gone the extra mile and have been very accommodating for special needs and requests. The marsala is home made and very good as is the tilapia francese. The value can't be beat. This is a family owned restaurant which the area should support so the pseudo Italian Olive Gardens do not take over the world. Again, they are very accommodating for parties and the food is good.
