The portion size was huge! * Pappardelle Positano - I expected this to be in a red sauce (my error) but it was light and fresh. Not much crab, unfortunately * Bronzino - light and "healthy" if you will. The lemon sauce added a nice zing * Chicken Cutlet over Angel Hair (garlic and oil) - my husband created this dish and he really enjoyed it * Banana Pudding - this was more of a banana bread than pudding. The meal started out with nice warm crispy bread. The stuffed long hots were very good not too hot but tasty. The beef carpaccio needed a little salt. I had the veal saltimbocca which was enjoyable but could have used a little more sauce especially since I had leftovers which ended up being a little dry the next day. Everyone else at the table expressed enjoying their meals. We were in the front corner of the restaurant so it wasn't as loud as sitting more in the middle which I have experienced in the past. This place reminded me of Chef Volas down in Atlantic city. Tables were a little tight and it was packed with families having a great time. Volume is loud in here but the servers are great and the menu is classic Italian, meaning my niece who was craving mozzarella sticks was not going to be getting them from here. My mom is on a sharing kick so we agreed to share the Pappardelle Bolognese, but before that, my sister-in-law and I got a special appetizer, tuna tartare. Let me begin by saying this was the biggest plate of tuna tartare I had ever been given. It was massive. So to be honest, I was happy to split an entree. The staff split our Bolognese in half and you know what, we each still took some home. The meal was absolutely delicious. We just recently had a wonderful luncheon at Amici's! Both the ravioli and gnocchi were delightful appetizers - large portions, the sauce was well seasoned, and the cheese was great. While all of the desserts were , the chocolate gelato takes the cake! It was creamy, smooth, and richly flavored. The service was both fast and friendly, and the whole atmosphere was very relaxing and inviting. Overall all of our friends who'd dined at Amici's before said they weren't surprised that this meal was just as great (if not better) than their previous experiences! I got married in the back garden of the restaurant in the fall. 50 guests. Staff was accommodating and they really helped make the outside patio look beautiful for my small event. Food was sooo good. My father-in-law is gluten free, no issue--he loved his meal. My dad is a vegetarian, no issue with his meal either. We came in later as well around 8:15 and they still had all options on the menu even at the end of the day the atmosphere id would rated a 9/10. This is my husbands and mine go to place especially for special occasions. We love dining on the porch. Everything is so fresh and the atmosphere is amazing! The portions are pretty big so we always end up taking some of it home. The staff is very friendly and are on top of everything making sure we have water at all times and that everything is to our liking. The French onion soup for starters is our favorite. I absolutely love the little neck clams as well. My husband loves the Lobster Ravioli. Not sure what more I can say. We love Amici's! We highly recommend it! You won't be disappointed! read more

From start to finish - this was a spectacular experience! Eating in a dining room of a house, this meal was magnificent! BYOB - we brought wine & Amici's provided a wine chiller. There is also an outdoor patio which is gorgeous! In the cooler months, there is a protected area of the patio with heat lamps. This place is ON POINT! We started with one of the appetizer specials. The tuna tartar & avocado salad. It was absolutely delicious. Fresh, light and served with lettuce cups and garlic bread - it was so so so good. Highly recommend. There is a pre-fix menu offered - you can choose an app, a dinner & a dessert for $48. I decided to do this & it was a LOT of food. There are quite a few choices to choose from on the pre-fix menu. To start, I opted for the Eggplant Rollatini. PERFECTION! Honestly, this was one of the best eggplant rollatini's I've had. It was baked flawlessly. For my dinner entree, I ordered the homemade pasta & sauce - Pallardelle Bolognese. This restaurant makes homemade pasta! Not all of their pasta is homemade, but their ravioli is made in house and so is the Pallardelle. The Bolognese is also homemade family recipe & that is why I chose the pasta meal. It did NOT disappoint. Pasta was cooked a la dente (SUPERUB) and the sauce was so delicious - pure comfort food. The meal was so big, I packed up my leftovers (and the leftovers were just as delicious - warmed the pasta up in a pan with a little water & steamed the dish. It tasted like it did when it was brought to the table). My sister chose the Chicken Amici (chicken topped with crab, shrimp with a wine lemon sauce). That meal was also sublime! The plate was colorful, with vegetables and potatoes. Chicken was tender, sauce was so light and NOT salty (which we appreciated). She also had leftovers & the leftovers (Chicken & veggies) were super tasty warmed up for lunch the next day. My birthday boy had chicken fingers & fries. For a kid who wasn't hungry when we ordered, so he said, he ate up his entire meal. 4 big chicken fingers - southern style fried - he clearly enjoyed them. We hardly saved room for dessert -but you bet we ordered it anyway! The birthday boy ordered Chocolate Gelato which was so chocolatey - he loved it. It tasted like fudge - it was so rich & the boys favorite! Amici's is kind to bring a slice of tiramisu with a birthday candle ready to be wished upon! Such a sweet touch to the meal. The staff sang happy birthday & the restuarant cheered! There is a choice of 3 desserts on the pre-fix menu and I decided for the tiramisu. light, delicate and delectable. We also ordered the creme Brule. The creme Brule was delicious and actually made perfectly. I keep saying that, the food is perfect - but the preparation and presentation of the food was ON POINT throughout the entire meal. The food was cooked / baked perfectly. I haven't had a meal like this, perfect from start to finish, in a very long time. Amici's did NOT let us down. It is extremely hard to find an eatery that does not have a TV blaring in your face, news or sports, and we get enough of the tv at home. We make it a point to find eateries without televisions so that we can truly enjoy a meal without the stress of the outside world. I promise, you will find that reserve here. Pleasant environment for dining, nice interior. This is a byob, so focus is on the food. Food was good, but does not hold up to an Il Fiore or Bistro di Marino in Collingswood. One of the hot apps was served cold, never came back to ask how they were, had to flagged them down. My fish was fair. Saltimbocca was not traditional, perhaps the menu stated this and we missed it. I reserved a table of four on Dec 28th for 6:30pm. When we arrived, we sat & waited in a unheated waiting room for 40 minutes and finally left and ate at another Cherry Hill, NJ restaurant. No explanation for the delay other than they oversold the restaurant...they didn't really care that we left! Why have reservations at all if you cant honor them! Waiting to come here for a while. Wife and I decided to go for lunch for out 11th wedding anniversary lunch, we have two young kids so it's hard for dinner. I was able to make a 12 o'clock lunch reservation on a Friday although when we go there it didn't seem necessary. Also tried to move the reservation to 1130 but they didn't allow it even though they were open. It was a nice day so we decided to eat outside. There was a very pleasant view, a fountain in the back, nice garden area which blocked the street. We ordered the meat and cheese plate. That was superb it was quite a variety for the value, would definitely recommend it. I ordered the pork chops and was able to replace with spinach as a side while my wife ordered the pasta. The pork chops were a little on the salty side but still delicious but I think we were full from the bread and cheese. The dessert was okay I had creme brulee and the wife got the tiramisu. I would definitely come back. I see a lot of things on the dinner menu that I would've enjoyed for lunch, maybe next time. read more

I loved my burrata and prosciutto salad while my husband's Caesar salad was just as tasty. My seafood linguine was delicious and the chicken parmigiana was tender. The sauce was just a tad heavy. We split the death by chocolate dessert and no crumbs were left. Portions were large and prices were reasonable. Like many other restaurants, they were short of wait staff which resulted in a wait for being seated and delays in service. The staff did their best and we, as customers, chose to adjust our attitudes to enjoy our leisurely meal. After an almost 45 minute wait in the cold (though we had reservations and showed up on time), we were seated in the dining room. Appetizers were really good--portion sizes were generous, then everything fell apart. It was nearly 1 hour between finishing appetizer and main meal being served. Thanksgiving dinner consisted of exactly four small slices of turkey, HALF a spoonful of stuffing, a dollop of mashed potatoes and four green beans. Four. I am not exaggerating. It filled half of the plate. And the food was on the cold side. Probably from sitting on the counter for the hour that we waited for it. Then waiting for the check was interminable. For a holiday meal, this was a bad experience I will not repeat. Everyone was still hungry when he left the restaurant. Next year, I'll cook or find another place to eat. Do not recommend. read more

I recently went with a large group. I need a gluten free meal and I was told they can make any meal gluten free. I ordered the "gluten free" Chicken Parmesan. When the waiter brought my meal he assured me this was gluten free. A few hours later I was very sick. The next day I spoke to Alex, the manager. I told him about my reaction to what was clearly not safe for me to eat. He was very cold and said the meal was made to my specifications and was gluten free. I said it made me very sick. He said it was made to my specifications and was gluten free. No responsibility was taken for serving something that was not safe for me to eat. I said thank you and goodbye and he said goodbye. A group of us wanted to take our retiring boss and her husband out to dinner - she was the best boss ever ever ever. Ten of us went to Amici on a recent Friday night. Since it is Lent many of us opted for the fish or other non meat options. I had the fettuccine ala Nonna which was DELICIOUS as was the Caesar salad. The waitstaff was efficient, warm and friendly.
