Awesome meal! Fantastic service. Only my second time here are it was wonderful. The Pompeii shrimp appetizer is unreal. I had the Positano sauce made spicy over fresh linguine and it was super. All the meals are huge and no one complained about anything.

I've been coming here with my family for years! The food is always fantastic, I'm addicted to their house vinaigrette, and they have some of the best gnocchi I've ever had at a restaurant. We've been for Christmas Eve on several occasions as well as birthdays. It's our favorite place to order from when we don't feel like cooking. The staff is always super friendly as well and we always have an amazing time!

    Scallops Special - Romescu sauce

Why have I not been here in all the years I have lived in the area!? A friend of mine has worked here for years and would always tell me I should come for dinner some time. I guess the location being not in the main shopping area and kind-of off to the side I had always forgotten about it or drove past without thinking about it? Anyway, I was looking for a nice spot for dinner with the wife to celebrate her new job and there it was: the elusive Barone's trip! Made a reservation, was expecting a decent meal...and was highly delighted with our decision to go there. We started the meal with a few appetizers: scallops with a romescu sauce (special) and the arincini (rice) balls. Both were spectacular! Scallops seared perfectly the romescu sauce was delicious. The Arincini having pesto inside was sooooo good! I had a tuna special, which was lights out, and my wife got the shrimp scampi, and it was great. Dessert: we had the peanut butter pie and tiramisu...can't miss. It's a somewhat small reminiscent of a small Italian village eatery inside. Very nice menu, BYOB, service was excellent from the hostess all the way to the kitchen staff. Cannot wait to go back for round 2 and many more. Check them out.

We've been here a few times and haven't had a bad meal yet. Ask for Mike - great service!!! Tonight I had the halibut special and it was incredible.

We went to Barone's last night for dinner for the first time in years and had a great experience! We had a group of 8 people and the service was impeccable and super fast! Our waiter, Mark, was so friendly and one of the best waiters I've had in a long time! We started with the rice balls, fried zucchini, and calamari for appetizers. They were all very good! For entrees, we all thoroughly enjoyed all of them! I had the special halibut with shrimp over pasta in a cream sauce. The halibut was cooked perfectly and had great flavor and the sauce was delicious! The shrimp was overcooked, but didn't take away from the overall dish. Our family really enjoyed our food and experience at Barone's and will definitely come back again soon!

Went here for a birthday celebration. Food was very good. Two pasta appetizers were verygood. One a penne with meat sauce and another with a blush sauce was very good. We had an entree oprion of chicken parm , chicken marsalla or salmon. My wife and I both chose the salmon. A bit dry, but still had a good flavor. We had a private celebration room all to ourselves separate from the formal restaurant area , which made things very nice. Service was ery good

    Pear sachetti

I went during lunch and had the pear sachetti. It was really delicious and even better with the optional honey (I didn't get the walnuts) added. The pasta was delicate which is always a guys sign. The portions were right especially with the included bread and salad. My waiter was great, should have taken his name! He went out of his way on two occasions. I'll definitely be back. Oh, and it's BYOB! (Also, idk if it was just me but the dressing on the salad was chef's kiss like where did that come from?! So good.)

We ordered the calamari, Trio di Mare, and the grilled salmon, and every dish was fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. The complimentary house salad, fresh bread, and cheesecake dessert were all excellent and made the meal feel complete. The atmosphere is comfortable and perfect for a relaxing dinner with family or friends. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is that the restaurant charges a credit card service fee without informing customers in advance. A simple notice on the menu or by the register would go a long way in avoiding an unpleasant surprise at the end of an otherwise enjoyable meal. Overall, the food and ambiance make Cucina Carini worth visiting, and I would gladly return.

I rounded down instead of up because of my personal experience that night, but I could see that half star going either way. ANYWHO, Cucina Carini.....a local pizza shop that has an attached dining room that, while pretty small, is also pretty nice. BYOB, which we didn't know heading in, and unless we are missing something, the only beverage options are either water, or whatever YOU bring. (We weren't asked what we would like to drink, nor saw any beverage options on the menu.) SO, water it was, which was fine with ME anyway. ALSO, another thing not listed on the *dine in menu,* is that they DO have a kids menu, which consists of what you would think it does; chicken fingers, fries and the like. We sit and get to work looking over the menu. We land on crab ravioli for me, (crab meat, asparagus & plum tomatoes in a sherry cream sauce), potato gnocchi for The Misses (With spinach & bacon simmered in a gorgonzola cream sauce,) and the chicken fingers meal for The Little One. Entrees comes with soup or salad (soup for her, salad for me). Where CC is losing some points is on service. Our server was fine, but the kitchen was very mixed up. When we sat, our Little One was being a kid, so while getting her situated, we ordered all of the mains. About 5 minutes later, when the server brought the bread over, we asked to order an appetizer of fried mozzarella (which I assumed would be the fresh mozzarella, breaded and fried, but instead was the packaged Sams club type breaded sticks variety..the menu says "Fried Mozzarella, Breaded mozzarella, fried golden crisp & served with marinara sauce. Nowhere does it mention "sticks." *shoulder shrug emoji*). In rapid succession after that, the kids meal came out, and then, and I mean probably 3-4 minutes after ordering the mozz *sticks,* THEY hit the table. Still no soup or salad. The mozzarella sticks were made suspiciously fast. Maybe 15-20 minutes later the ENTREES hit the table. The server does recognize that she never brought the soup or salad, and offers to put them in To-Go containers. *second shoulder shrug emoji* The entrees themselves were good, not great. Decent flavor, but both dishes underseasoned. A little salt would have gone a long way. I had to add parmesan cheese, red pepper flake, and some salt myself to coax a better flavor out of my ravioli. The Misses's gnocchi also needed some doctoring to bring out some true flavor. The kids meal was a generous portion size, but then again, it WAS $13, so..... We decided to actually do dessert, as The Little One wanted cake, and I had seen a picture of the Peanut Butter Bomb, and absolutely wanted to try it. One bomb, and one Lemoncello Cake slice was the order. The Lemoncello cake was good, but again, lacking in deep flavor. You got a hint of lemon, then the rest of the bite was chewing on air. It speaks to the lightness of the cake crumb, but the flavor needs to be punched up. The Peanut Butter Bomb however; no notes. Delicious. Chocolate mousse on top of a peanut butter mousse, on top of a chocolate cookie type base, the whole thing covered in chocolate and peanut drizzle (?) and sprinkled with peanuts. Definitely the best thing I ate here. SO, all things put together, it wasn't a bad night. Service was a little slow, which was only really a problem because we had a squirmy 7 year old. I probably would have appreciated the pace if it were The Misses and I just sipping a bottle of wine. But, the kitchen course timings and mix up, plus the muted flavor of pretty much every dish knocked it down a few pegs. I could see Cucina Carini easily being a 4 star spot and a go-to, "our spot" type place, it just didn't get there for me on my one visit. It's a little far from us, but if I'm in the area, I would definitely give it another shot.

We were celebrating our 25th Anniversary. On our table we had a postcard wishing us a happy anniversary. Thought that was a nice touch. Jack, our server was friendly, he wished us a happy anniversary, and took our drink order. We got a Tequila Sunset and a Tequila Old Fashioned. Both drinks were perfect. Bread and water came right after. The bread was soft and warm with herb butter. For apps we ordered the tuna tartar, bada bing shrimp, and the crab stuffed scallops wrapped in bacon. The tuna was fresh on a bed of seaweed topped with pickled ginger and peppers. The bada bing shrimp was crunchy, spicy and delicious over a bed of lettuce. The scallops were stuffed with crab meat and wrapped in bacon. Three scallops over a bed of tomatoes and mushrooms. The saltiness from the bacon added another level of flavor. This was my favorite out of the three apps. For dinner, we ordered the NY Strip steak with potatoes and a side of mushrooms. The steak was juicy and had great flavor. We ordered the Chilean Sea Bass over a bed of asparagus and tomatoes. The sauce was delicately flavored. The flavor of the sauce enhanced the flavor of the fish. The sea bass was tender and delicious. For dessert, we ordered the dulce de leche ice cream sprinkled with chocolate chips drizzled dulce de leche and a dab of whipped cream. It was supposed to have lady fingers but ours didn't come with it. We figured it was because we were also given two cannolis for our anniversary. It was a pleasant surprise. This was a great meal. Service was great. Food was delicious and the restsurant is located on a beautiful creek. Whether just dinner or celebrating a special occasion Carlucci's is highly recommended.

My bf made up a sandwich he wanted to have them make and I decided to go with the roast beef sharp provolone and horseradish wrap but with an Italian roll instead of a wrap. The roll was about 6 hours away from being stale and I had to add my own balsamic glaze and roasted red peppers at home to give the sandwich some life. My bf enjoyed his sandwich way more than I did but did say it wasn't anywhere near as good as the market sandwiches were used to up north. Oh and the customer service was mid at best.
