Good food and atmosphere - GREAT Service From Abigail! Sunday afternoon a few weeks ago (July 30, 2023), I went to Ott's with a group of 8. We sat outside and kept the server, Abigail, very busy with food and drink orders. She was extremely gracious about having to run back and forth for us. With a group that size that likes to consume, it is a revolving door of requests and refills - and she met them all perfectly! The services was the highlight of the day as she waited on us promptly and remembered every order placed. Thank you Abigail! Regarding the food and atmosphere at Ott's: win-win. There are a couple of bars inside and seating available outside complete with an additional outside bar. The ambiance was relaxed. It was busy enough to generate the much needed background "noise" that we all love so much but not so overbearing that you couldn't have a conversation at the table. I was impressed with the menu. It is not just "typical bar food" with everything going in the deep fryer. Yes, you can still get classic bar-type food, but there is a great variety of items offered that you wouldn't necessarily expect from a bar venue. For this, I am grateful. The people I was with, who love to eat and drink, were grateful! The presentation and quality of the food was an unexpected surprise. I would recommend Ott's and am looking forward to returning and trying some more delicious food. read more

We went in for AYCE Crab Legs and it was an unusual experience than the last time we went.. The crabs were some came out over cooked but that's no big deal. We were seated right near the kitchen and couldn't get refills for like 15 minutes after we were finished with the previous serving.. We left but were not satisfied with the amount we ate.. When we asked the waitress she said that they were extremely busy.. No Duh! It's Crab Legs! I hope they figure out the staffing problem. Because it's not your customers problem it's the people who manage the place. I don't want to get the waitress in trouble but the service she gave us was really horrible service.You work for tips and you should be a little more accommodating to your customers. read more

Love the food but portions have gotten very small for sides. You did get two sides for kids meal last year. it became one and even that got much smaller. Adult food too, sides are much smaller but prices are same or more than before. read more

Just left without eating anything. Don't go on crab night, even at the bar, unless you're going to eat crabs. Bartender even went to the kitchen to see what was taking so long. Still nothing so we left. read more

Totally enjoyed our meal at Otto's today. Burgers were good and juicy, crab soup delicious and the onion rings were good too. Our waitress was fabulous, friendly and very helpful. I had the Raspberry hard cider it was great! read more

Typical corner bar feel. Friendly service. Nice bartender. Greeted upon entering. Typical bar style food but drinks are better than any franchise type restaurant. Personalized menu and specials everyday. Love finding that local watering hole right where I now live. Love to go to Ott's! read more

Great food, great wings, nice happy hour and weekly deals. The beer lines can be skunky on some beers, but I powered through it. Overall, great spot but Greentop is still the Otts king. read more

This place is the worst. My sister was a regular there and went there one night with her friend. She had two drinks and was either drugged or over served. She was feeling woozy so she put her head down on the bar. As soon as she did, the bartender Becca, said to her friend, "you need to get her out of here." Instead of offering coffee or water or even an opportunity to sit t in a booth her first reaction was to make her leave. My sister is a regular and this is how they treat their "regulars". Her friend drove her home, thought she seemed fine and dropped her off. As she was walking down the steps, she fell on her face breaking her jaw, nose and eye socket. Here is a photo of the aftermath. I will never step foot in this establishment ever again. I bet the owners didn't even hear about this. The best part of this is, she was there today and she was talking discretely about the incident to a friend and they threw her out of the bar for speaking of the incident. I am going to blast this review everywhere. Horrible! They are lucky she didn't sue them. I welcome any comments from the owners and management. read more

On par with the other Ott's locations. Super sweet, attentive server honour trip. Food came out fast. Live music last night but the place is bigger than it looks and has tables in the back, away from the bar, that provide a quiet enough space to sit down, have a meal, and talk. The food was pretty good for your typical bar. Definitely recomend the Hawaiian nachos if you're looking for something to pick at. Good specials each night and happy hour 3-6 M-F with half priced apps. Plenty of parking. Had a good time and I'd visit again. read more

Nice setup for our work Christmas party. The catering foods was not good. Mixed drinks were not strong. Probably will not come back.

Visited Ott's for lunch today. The service was excellent, waitress perky and attentive, offered great service. Our drinks were very good. The food: I tried their pizza for the first time, barbecue pizza. It was very tasty and perfectly cooked. I had plenty to box and take home even after eating a substantial amount. My friend said his fish and chips was "pretty good but not great." This establishment has a friendly, relaxing feel to it. read more

It's about the servers. They work hard and create a down-to-earth atmosphere. Bar food satisfies your hunger, happy hour specials are great. You can eat/imbibe inside, in the open-air covered bar, or alfresco. Too many people to thank for good service and conversations but Sal is my guy, crazy and charming. read more

DJ is absolutely terrible. Turns every song into dubstep, and does not take any requests. Dance floor is usually empty because no one enjoys the music played. read more

Don't remember writing this review... hell i don't even know a Courtney. But Ott's is dope the small bar is the safe haven were you can chill and listen to music and just dissolve into your drink. This is a favorite restuarant in the area. Pub fare and tons of ice cold beer. Lots of locals, though some women I find hard to talk to in the bar. Literally I was here a few weeks ago and a woman was so bored with my conversation about the merits of ranch houses because they lack steps, she put her head down on the bar and went to sleep. She said it was her favorite bar because she hadn't slept so well since HS history class. She told me the bar was cool and soothing to the touch and just the right height for a nap. She was not wrong! I saw a similar woman a few weeks later but her face was all mashed up so it could not have been her. read more

Don't come here if u have an out of state license. Even if it's worked before it won't scan. I have a COMPLETELY LEGIT Connecticut license and their terminal denied my access and even tho I had perfectly acceptable backup ID I wasn't let in. I wouldn't risk it since apparently they have plenty of mess ups to have such strict and awful rules to be allowed in. read more

Make sure you go into the right building! When we got here, we walked into the building next door, which happens to be a crowded dive bar- but not the right place!! I mean, it's the same place, but this bar has 2 buildings. You walk to the other side of the parking lot and find the real Ott's. It is larger inside, and has a different crowd than the smaller bar next door. We found seating at the bar and decided to order some selections from the menu for dinner. They serve all your traditional bar food here... ie chicken wings, fries etc. I have to say, the food wasn't half bad! We started with the mussles in red sauce. The mussles were fresh, and the sauce was sweet and flavorful. We also had the mozzarella sticks. These were pretty good too. For our entrees we ordered a garden salad and french dip (which was a $5 special). The salad was huge! Also, the french dip was great. Definitely $5 well spent. This bar is chill and casual. The bartenders are friendly and always make sure your drink never runs empty. It's a nice place to get out of the house for a little and have a drink or two *or three* with friends and grab a bite to eat. I would return. read more

Was my first time visiting this place. What a great atmosphere. We were seated at the inside bar, and we're taken great care by Ryan, and another guy, and a girl. Sorry that I didn't get their names, but they were all amazing..Always checking on us. We ended up staying until closing. The security staff was very nice, and they had an awesome DJ that had the dance floor packed..I believe that it was Kenny B. Nice guy ,and got us some requests. Will definitely be there again. went here while visiting from college. overall delightful experience! we had to wait for about 20 minutes, which dragged for a bit but totally understandable as the place was packed! when we were seated the table and chairs were quite spacious which was nice. in terms of food, i ordered the fish sandwich but with just the fish and lettuce. the fish was so tasty, i just wish there was more of it! it was a little sliver and the bread overpowered it. for dessert we got butter cake and churro chips. the churro chips tasted heavily of simple tortilla chips dusted in cinnamon sugar, and weren't that enjoyable. the butter cake, on the other hand, was so yummy. could definitely see why it was a hit amongst the crowd. our waitress was attentive at first, but when it came to ordering dessert or a few more drinks, she was always nowhere to be seen. but other than that it was a fun time! read more

Great night out!! Food was excellent. Bar food choices but very good. Crab cake sandwich was awesome. A lot of crab and very tasty. The onion rings were the best I had in a long time. Very thick and crispy. My husband had the prime rib sandwich and he said it was tender and juicy. We also had the teriyaki wings. They were huge and delicious. The band playing was the Juliana Bros. We went here Saturday night since a few friends were there. The band 39 Mariner was playing and they were AWESOME! It was so crowded and they definitely pumped up the crowded. It was a $5 cover an the parking lot was full. We got lucky and were able to get 2 seats at the bar to order drinks and get some dinner. Boyfriend and I both got the turkey melt and it was delicious. sliced turkey, bacon, cheddar cheese, with ranch dressing on grilled sourdough bread. YUM! you get can pay extra to get fries or onion rings but we opted with the chips it came in. I love when bars charge a cover AND have specials. It makes the cover charge more worth it. Specials on Saturday night were: $3 bud, bud light, and bud light limes $3 michaelight something $4 victory drafts $4 skyy vodka drinks The bar/restaurant is very spacious and big. They also have a huge patio area with a fire pit. Pretty impressed with this location! read more

We haven't been to this Ott's location in probably two years or so. We decided to stop-in today for some lunch. The inside of this Ott's is very old/dated. It just has a dark & gloomy feel to it. The carpets need to go. (I guess at night time with a packed bar you wouldn't notice this but in the daytime...... ewwww). However, the outside bar/eating area is a lot nicer. The last time we were here they had a deck with a frame tent. The deck now has a permanent/all season hard top with retractable walls and stone pillars, looks nice. You can also eat/drink on the adjacent patio. The food menu has some new items. We wanted to keep it semi light. I went with the Sam Adams Seasonal. I had a grilled chicken wrap. Kate had a salad. We decided to get a side of tater tots (they were good). Ott's doesn't have a large craft beer selection, just the usual suspects. Our bartender was cool/attentive. Each time I come here it is a BIG disappointment. The drinks are watered down and overpriced. They allow underage drinkers. The bouncers are EXTREMELY disrespectful and do not do their jobs. The bathrooms are FOUL. Do NOT recommend this place to absolutely ANYONE. Will be going to Village Pub from here on out. read more

My friends and I have been going to Ott's for years. We celebrated turning 21 here, we had college graduation parties here, we reunited here after moving away from South Jersey. I was called the N-word by an older gentlemen on 11- 9-19 at 9:40 pm. Instead of him being removed from the bar, my friends and I were physically carried out of the bar. The situation was handled very poorly by management. We are very disappointed and heart broken that we will not be going back to Otts after giving them our business for over 3 years. I would recommend going to other bars in the area before spending your money at a place that allows patrons to use racial slurs towards other guests. read more

I came here for AYCE Snow crab. Some what disappointed on the crab for the money ($36). It is not a buffet style, it is made to order. 1st order came with crab flies and 4 cluster of snow crab, which I think is pretty fair for the price. Now it comes down to REFILL the crab. Every refill it came with 2 smaller and broken cluster of the crab. I was there 5:00pm sharp when they open for crab, when the place get busy, the waiter/waitress don't even have time to notice you. I would say for $36, I can do a lot better else where. read more

We've been ready to leave for 45 minutes, still can't get the server over to get the check. All of our drinks were wrong, one friend gave up and went to the bar. Service has been the slowest ever Update: kudos to the manager and even one of the owners for coming over and checking up on us before we left. my friends and I went out for dinner and decided to go here for drinks Saturday night. they denied me entry (28 years old) because I had an out of state license (pa) and didn't have a second form of photo id physically on me. they wouldn't accept a credit card, pictures off my phone or even a FaceTime call of another id. literally ruined everyones night and the bouncer was extremely rude about it. also had no signs that they were discriminating out of state people. first and last time I'll be going there. jokes. read more
