    Tortellini & Scallops

We had a reservation in our seated promptly in the main dining room downstairs. It was very busy and lively in a good way. It was great for a group dining, however, if you are just on a date, it's not good for having a quiet conversation on a Friday night. The service was really good, the only negative is that I asked for water before my dessert arrived, and I was waiting for a really long time for the water. I do like they include bread service and salad with every entrée. I enjoyed my tortellini and scallop entrée and the portions are big. You can definitely bring something home and enjoy the next day as well. The parking lot is really big, plenty of free parking. This is of course a popular spot for locals I would recommend it to celebrate a special occasion.

4 adults and 2 children arrived at 3:00 on a Friday afternoon May 15, 2026 after the Camden County college graduation ceremony. Restaurant was not empty in the least but plenty of tables were still available. It was busy. A super waitress (Mariah) was superb. One of the children is a super picky eater so we knew going in that finding something for him at this restaurant would be a challenge. Thank goodness the one thing he eats is french fries!! So he doesn't count in this review because he only had a plate of french fries for his meal. Having said that, the plate of fries was GYNORMOUS ($5) !! The waitress brought 2 baskets of warm bread and a plate of warm peppers in oil & spices for the table. Awesome for both items. The adult graduate and her two friends had a cocktail ... each had a Casamigos Tequila Blood Orange Margarita that they said was awesome ($14 each). The kids diet coke and lemonade ($3 each) and my plain ole club soda ($3). The 2 friends each had the chicken parmigiana ($26 each) which came with 2 large pounded flat breasts on top of a bed of pasta. They each took half home with them. My daughter has the Penne Vodka ($24) along with a side of Italian Long Hot peppers ($8) and I had the unfortunate task of being on ATKINS diet so I bypassed all these good things on the menu and went straight for the chicken Caesar salad ($19). The salad was huge and at least a 7 -8 ounce grilled chicken served sliced on top. The total bill BEFORE the gratuity came to $179.95 + $11.93 tax for a total of $191.88 (before tip). The ambiance of Filomena Lakeview was really, really nice. We ate on their covered patio at high top table and it was really nice sitting there on a beautiful day. Anything to criticize? Not really. I didn't think the prices were out of line with any other restaurant for what they charge and the portion sizes were all very large. Nothing was skimpy at all. Mariah's service was great and ambiance was super. So, nope! All good and worthy of 5 stars!!

Six of us on a Sunday. Waited about five minutes before being seated. Restaurant is old school charming. Dark woods and dim lighting. They sat us at a long table/booth combo in the back of the dining room. Waitress was great. Complimentary bread and their famous peppers brought out when drink order was taken. I ordered French onion soup and the white mussels appetizer. After about 10 minutes I was informed they didn't have enough mussels to fill my order, could they give half clams and half mussels. Of course I said yes. For me it was a win win. Now digging into that bread. I could have been very, very happy with that warm bread and roasted peppers. Oh my gosh. Peppers are outstanding. Dinner and soups brought out. My French onion broth was good but the cheese needed to be broiled a bit longer. The gooey cheese sunk to the bottom of the broth and made a glop in the turbine. Broiling a little longer so it's caramelized will prevent that. Fried onions a nice touch to presentation. Mussels and clams. First, white, garlic butter broth was flavorful. Both types of shellfish were extremely small. And the mussels were hard to get out of their shells. There was nothing wrong with my food. I guess I expected more. Soup broth, peppers and service above average. Will I return? Probably. For the peppers.

Filomena is a classic Italian restaurant with an ample parking lot for all diners. My family has been going here for ages and it's always good. We went for dinner a few days before Christmas. Our server Bella was so sweet and attentive. They had a bunch of Christmas festive specials. We had the fried green tomatoes covered in crab meat and vodka sauce (best bite of the night) and the stuffed mushrooms with crabmeat (8.5/10). We ordered the lobster ravioli (9/10) the chicken parm (9/10) and the stuffed calamari pasta special (5/10- bland). Overall, I will definitely be back!

The French onion soup was delicious, hot and cheesy with crispy onions on top and not overly salty. The Burrata was good but the prosciutto wrapped artichoke with salad and cheese was so much better. The combination of flavors and textures made for a delicious bite. We sat outside and with the ceiling fans it was actually a little chilly. Our server was friendly, checked in just the right amount of times. Overall a good lunch and would definitely return.

We ordered appetizers, including the mussels, which were incredibly plump with a delicious white wine broth. The calamari had the perfect level of breading and was well seasoned. I ordered the mushroom risotto special which came with asparagus and scallops. It was delicious and again very well seasoned. The scallops were exactly the right texture, not overcooked. The risotto was more toothsome than I'm used to but still very good and went well with the accompanying arugula salad. Other things we ordered were the generously portion salmon, the bolognese and the penne à la vodka. It is spacious but cozy at the same time and everyone was so nice and helpful. This is the kind of service you really don't find anymore and one of the reasons I like coming back to tutti toscani. I ordered the veal which is always good, large lump crab on top. My husband got the trio of pasta but only enjoyed two of the three. The rest of the table raved about the mushroom special almost licking the plate clean - I am not a fans of mushrooms so I'll trust them. Overall I always enjoy coming here, I don't feel like I've been ripped off when the bill hits the table and service is usually good. W O W We drove up to a humble building and entered into a welcoming and a very nicely decorated restaurant. I loved all the red "pops" for Valentine's Day! I flipped for the focaccia bread! It reminded me of Lamberti's on Haddonfield-Berlin Road back in the day. This was even better though - I "kinda" had five pieces lol! We started with salads that were super good! I barely like tomatoes but these grape ones were so tasty! Now onto the star ... LOBSTER RAVIOLI in a brandy sauce! This dish was AH-MAZING and one of the night's specials - from the tender pasta and scrumptious lobster, to the incredible sauce and two succulent large shrimp. The chef added some sun dried tomatoes in, per my request - absolutely delicious!!! My Sir was grinning at me! I couldn't stop ooh'ing and ahh'ing at the "symphony " of flavors in my mouth! He had Veal Parmigiana with a side of Vodka Rigatoni, that he loved (it's his go-to dish that he bases restaurants on). I cleaned my plate, and took the remaining brandy sauce home - this gold wasn't going to waste! Chris hooked us up with two bread more bread baskets because he noticed how we were inhaling it- we took the remainder home too! A treat was meeting Peppe and his wife (?) on the way out. What lovely and gracious people! You can tell that they genuinely love what they do, which is why their food is so damned good! We already talked about going back - my eye is on the Calzone!
