    Tortellini & Scallops

We had a reservation in our seated promptly in the main dining room downstairs. It was very busy and lively in a good way. It was great for a group dining, however, if you are just on a date, it's not good for having a quiet conversation on a Friday night. The service was really good, the only negative is that I asked for water before my dessert arrived, and I was waiting for a really long time for the water. I do like they include bread service and salad with every entrée. I enjoyed my tortellini and scallop entrée and the portions are big. You can definitely bring something home and enjoy the next day as well. The parking lot is really big, plenty of free parking. This is of course a popular spot for locals I would recommend it to celebrate a special occasion.

4 adults and 2 children arrived at 3:00 on a Friday afternoon May 15, 2026 after the Camden County college graduation ceremony. Restaurant was not empty in the least but plenty of tables were still available. It was busy. A super waitress (Mariah) was superb. One of the children is a super picky eater so we knew going in that finding something for him at this restaurant would be a challenge. Thank goodness the one thing he eats is french fries!! So he doesn't count in this review because he only had a plate of french fries for his meal. Having said that, the plate of fries was GYNORMOUS ($5) !! The waitress brought 2 baskets of warm bread and a plate of warm peppers in oil & spices for the table. Awesome for both items. The adult graduate and her two friends had a cocktail ... each had a Casamigos Tequila Blood Orange Margarita that they said was awesome ($14 each). The kids diet coke and lemonade ($3 each) and my plain ole club soda ($3). The 2 friends each had the chicken parmigiana ($26 each) which came with 2 large pounded flat breasts on top of a bed of pasta. They each took half home with them. My daughter has the Penne Vodka ($24) along with a side of Italian Long Hot peppers ($8) and I had the unfortunate task of being on ATKINS diet so I bypassed all these good things on the menu and went straight for the chicken Caesar salad ($19). The salad was huge and at least a 7 -8 ounce grilled chicken served sliced on top. The total bill BEFORE the gratuity came to $179.95 + $11.93 tax for a total of $191.88 (before tip). The ambiance of Filomena Lakeview was really, really nice. We ate on their covered patio at high top table and it was really nice sitting there on a beautiful day. Anything to criticize? Not really. I didn't think the prices were out of line with any other restaurant for what they charge and the portion sizes were all very large. Nothing was skimpy at all. Mariah's service was great and ambiance was super. So, nope! All good and worthy of 5 stars!!

Six of us on a Sunday. Waited about five minutes before being seated. Restaurant is old school charming. Dark woods and dim lighting. They sat us at a long table/booth combo in the back of the dining room. Waitress was great. Complimentary bread and their famous peppers brought out when drink order was taken. I ordered French onion soup and the white mussels appetizer. After about 10 minutes I was informed they didn't have enough mussels to fill my order, could they give half clams and half mussels. Of course I said yes. For me it was a win win. Now digging into that bread. I could have been very, very happy with that warm bread and roasted peppers. Oh my gosh. Peppers are outstanding. Dinner and soups brought out. My French onion broth was good but the cheese needed to be broiled a bit longer. The gooey cheese sunk to the bottom of the broth and made a glop in the turbine. Broiling a little longer so it's caramelized will prevent that. Fried onions a nice touch to presentation. Mussels and clams. First, white, garlic butter broth was flavorful. Both types of shellfish were extremely small. And the mussels were hard to get out of their shells. There was nothing wrong with my food. I guess I expected more. Soup broth, peppers and service above average. Will I return? Probably. For the peppers.

Filomena is a classic Italian restaurant with an ample parking lot for all diners. My family has been going here for ages and it's always good. We went for dinner a few days before Christmas. Our server Bella was so sweet and attentive. They had a bunch of Christmas festive specials. We had the fried green tomatoes covered in crab meat and vodka sauce (best bite of the night) and the stuffed mushrooms with crabmeat (8.5/10). We ordered the lobster ravioli (9/10) the chicken parm (9/10) and the stuffed calamari pasta special (5/10- bland). Overall, I will definitely be back!

The French onion soup was delicious, hot and cheesy with crispy onions on top and not overly salty. The Burrata was good but the prosciutto wrapped artichoke with salad and cheese was so much better. The combination of flavors and textures made for a delicious bite. We sat outside and with the ceiling fans it was actually a little chilly. Our server was friendly, checked in just the right amount of times. Overall a good lunch and would definitely return.

Parking was a challenge on a Friday night as every space was full and turning around in the back lot involves making a k turn around the other vehicles who are also looking for a spot. We ended up parking down the street and walking over. We were seated immediately, as the bar has ample seating, both high tops and regular tables. My bff wasn't in the mood for a cocktail so we opted for Arnold palmers. Now, I am a HUGE avocado fan and I had heard about their infamous avocado fries so I was super excited about trying them. That may or may not have been the main reason for my visit. The avocado fries are fresh large slices of avocado breaded in panko and fried with a sweet and tangy spicy mayo sauce. I loved them but my bff wasn't as excited. He informed me he isn't a huge fresh avocado fan, so this one is for the avocado lovers. We also opted for the chicken parm rollers which is described as "Chicken mixed with ricotta cheese, herbs and spices rolled in panko breadcrumbs served with house made marinara and shaved parmesan" - they are chicken meatballs. We expected something else and now that we've had them and I re-read the description I'm not sure what we had in mind but it wasn't this. They were just okay. I think if they were placed on a plate with seasoned whipped ricotta and drizzled with pesto it could boost the flavor experience. For our entrees my bff got the chicken strips with the sweet and sassy sauce and I opted for the KO burger. My KO burger was delicious. The seeded brioche bun was buttery and fresh and the burger itself was flavorful. The fries were also fantastic. Fresh cut and sprinkled with a sweet seasoning, I didn't even feel the need to add ketchup or a side of aioli or anything. They were perfect. I didn't try my bffs chicken tenders but the sweet and sassy sauce tasted just like buffalo sauce. Pretty sure it was the wrong sauce but he didn't say anything to our server so that's on us. If you are looking for a bar to hang out and watch sports, get a drink, and have a great burger, I'd recommend this place - but maybe uber there.

One of the most fun things on the menu is their chicken "thumbs," which are shaped like little hands -- I wish I took a picture because they're great and definitely something you don't see everywhere. Service can be a little hit or miss, but not because the staff isn't working hard -- it's a big place and when it gets busy, it really gets busy, and they sometimes seem a bit understaffed for the rush. That said, everyone is always very friendly, which makes a big difference and keeps the experience positive. They also have a huge bar with several beers on tap, great specialty drinks, and drink specials, so it's a great place to hang out with friends and have a good time. Overall, definitely worth a visit. Just maybe don't go if you're in a big rush -- go when you have time to relax, enjoy the atmosphere, and have a good meal.

They also had a special burger on the menu with a salty pretzel bun that was really good and definitely a mouthful. We've had generally decent service and somewhat inconsistent food, but it generally leans on the good side. Today was... interesting. The wings came out great. I usually order extra sauce bc, depending on the cook, the wings sometimes lack a lot of sauce. The cheesesteak came out good, but the cheese was basically all on top instead of mixed throughout. Weird. There was a sign in the door about $4 copper lager, one of my favorite beers. No dates or times listed. I asked our server about it and she mentioned it was on Tuesdays for club members. Nothing about that in the sign... Speaking of which, we've seen this server a bunch of times, but this was our first time with her. She was rude and inattentive. Dropped plates with no words. Barely checked on us. I don't know if she was in a bad mood or not bc I don't feel like we did anything to deserve the attitude. For almost $70 with tip, I expected more.
