Cheesesteak with old bay fires mushrooms and onions

Ok here I am again the queen of dive bars well this little gem is in the corner of a strip mall. Honestly you'd never see it. We were starved fresh from the Phillies game where we refused to spend 10$ on a can of beer or 5 on a pretzel. So we came here after dropping off our friends who live down the street. We ordered Coronas which were on special for 3$ and the buffalo chicken quesadilla also on special. The quesadilla was fresh and delicious came with salsa sour cream. Delicious. We also ordered the BYOB burgers with hot sauce and bleu cheese medium. We also ordered a cheesesteak with mushrooms and wiz and onions. Ok we were hungry. Don't judge. It was delicious my happiest acknowledgment was the fact they "thank god" they season they're food. Generous salt pepper ect So overall burgers steak etc all delicious. Stop by if you can

Great place for a burger, wings, or some quick bites to eat. We opted for mozzarella sticks and cauliflower bites while we had a drink at the bar. Friendly bartenders. I'd definitely rather do lunch or an early dinner here. They have an outside deck with seating and a bar, clean bathrooms, and a indoor seating area other than the bar. They have a pool table, darts, and change machine as well.

Great food and the prices are right. You have to bring your own alcahol but that's not to bad as there is a liquor store nearby

Restaurant was not empty in the least but plenty of tables were still available. It was busy. A super waitress (Mariah) was superb. One of the children is a super picky eater so we knew going in that finding something for him at this restaurant would be a challenge. Thank goodness the one thing he eats is french fries!! So he doesn't count in this review because he only had a plate of french fries for his meal. Having said that, the plate of fries was GYNORMOUS ($5) !! The waitress brought 2 baskets of warm bread and a plate of warm peppers in oil & spices for the table. Awesome for both items. The adult graduate and her two friends had a cocktail ... each had a Casamigos Tequila Blood Orange Margarita that they said was awesome ($14 each). The kids diet coke and lemonade ($3 each) and my plain ole club soda ($3). The 2 friends each had the chicken parmigiana ($26 each) which came with 2 large pounded flat breasts on top of a bed of pasta. They each took half home with them. My daughter has the Penne Vodka ($24) along with a side of Italian Long Hot peppers ($8) and I had the unfortunate task of being on ATKINS diet so I bypassed all these good things on the menu and went straight for the chicken Caesar salad ($19). The salad was huge and at least a 7 -8 ounce grilled chicken served sliced on top. The total bill BEFORE the gratuity came to $179.95 + $11.93 tax for a total of $191.88 (before tip). The ambiance of Filomena Lakeview was really, really nice. We ate on their covered patio at high top table and it was really nice sitting there on a beautiful day. Anything to criticize? Not really. I didn't think the prices were out of line with any other restaurant for what they charge and the portion sizes were all very large. Nothing was skimpy at all. Mariah's service was great and ambiance was super. So, nope! All good and worthy of 5 stars!!

This place does not serve exceptional food. It's not a Michelin star stop. It's a typical Italian style place with a good view who apparently hates beer and thinks their food is far better than it actually is. The pricing is insane. Actually, worse than that, screw these people. That's how pissed they made me. My rib eye wasn't even rendered properly with lots of connective tissue and thick hard fat. My kid's salad was drenched in dressing he didn't like despite us ordering it on the side. The $25 shrimp cocktail was literally 4 unseasoned shrimp. The $20 calamari app was half fried pepper rings. Everything was double what it should have cost. Are these morons serious with their prices? I can't believe this horrible place is still in business. It's insulting. Almost like they are trying to keep out the riff raff. I hate them for that. If you are going to have prices like this, you better serve perfect food. I seriously will never give them another chance. Out of all of my visits, my favorite is the weekend brunch menu. There are so many yummy things to choose from like the breakfast burrito, the banana Forester French toast, the various of Benedict's including crab, and there were a bunch of various breakfast sandwiches, but the most menu appealing one that I liked is the pork roll. On my last trip I wound getting a chicken brie apples bacon on brioche bread. It was a special of the day. From the moment I bid into it, I knew I would love it for the savoriness, the crisp and sweet tasting bread. There was a side of potatoes... Very nicely seasoned and the perfect crunch to them. On my last visit, it was a total of 10 people in our group and the customer service was great. We were all able to pay with separate checks... Always a perk. It's got that old-school, no-nonsense vibe with just enough charm to let you know they actually care. You walk in, and it's like the place has been waiting for you--dark wood, a little history on the walls, and that unmistakable smell of something incredible happening in the kitchen. The kind of place where you know, deep down in your soul, that good things are about to happen. And then came the sandwich. This roast pork wasn't just good. It wasn't just great. It was the best roast pork sandwich I have ever had in my life. No exaggeration. First bite--boom--instant revelation. The pork was juicy, packed with deep, rich flavor, and shredded just right, like it had been slow-cooked by someone who truly understands patience. The roll? Oh man, that perfect balance of crusty and soft, holding everything together without stealing the show. Then you get hit with the garlicky, herb-loaded bite of the greens--sautéed just enough to still have a little bite, but soft enough to melt into everything else. And the cheese? Sharp provolone, the kind that makes your taste buds wake up and pay attention. I sat there, sandwich in hand, just nodding to myself like some kind of roast pork prophet. Every bite was a reminder that this is how it's supposed to be done. It wasn't a meal. It was a life experience. If you haven't been to The Bank Bar yet, fix that immediately. Order the roast pork.
