Martini's on Broadway, an absolute diamond establishment nestled in the hub of Pitman-centric locales, is the place to be and the place to be seen. If you are reading this review because you are trying to decide whether you should dine here, let me make it easy for you: go! Four of us dined here Saturday, March 7, 2026, and are still talking about it as well as actively seeking another opportunity to patronize Martini's. Everything that we loved about our experience was magnified by the hospitality and attention provided by our server, Chris. Enough praise cannot awarded to this thoughtful and caring staff member. We truly hope the owners appreciate his efforts in exceptional customer service as well as promoting a superb image for the business. We definitely appreciated him and all that he did for us! In fact, he's at the top of the list of reasons why we would return to Martini's. Our fare was brunch and it was unique, tantalizing, delicious - honestly just insert any non-boring adjective here that you'd usually use to describe mouth-watering food. In addition, the prices were extremely reasonable. On top of that, the drinks were varied and tasty. There is something here for any palate. You can't tell from the outside, but Martini's is surprisingly spacious. There's a full bar inside along with a multitude of seating options, tables and high-tops included. It is clean, appropriately lit, and decorated tastefully. The décor, atmosphere, and vibe, if you will, are all aligned perfectly with the food and drink offerings: no gimmicks, no viral trendy nonsense - just damn good food and drink accentuated by the best service you could ever hope for. Had brunch prior to going to the show in the theater next door. Three of us decided to order and share our meals as there were so many delicious looking options to pick from. The pancakes were light and fluffy. The French toast was nicely good. The bacon was thick but a little fatty. The avocado toast lacked flavor. Our friend did enough his eggs Benedict. Service was a little slow in asking about refills and taking our plates away. The small room we sat in had great pictures of legends - Frank Sinatra, Bob Hope, Sammy Davis Junior to name a few. My seat faced the television and although it was not my intention of watching it the show was strange - it had a flower child vibe and just didn't match the room, place or time in my opinion. We were there recently and ordered the vegetable dumplings with garlic dipping sauce. Unfortunately, the dumplings came out overly fried, and there really wasn't a dipping sauce served on the side. When we asked about it, we were told the sauce had been drizzled on the dumplings, but it was barely noticeable. What surprised us most was that the staff seemed more focused on cleaning behind the bar than checking on guests. We've been here before and always had a pretty good experience with both the food and service, so this visit was disappointing to say the least. Unfortunately my experience here wasn't great, the brussel sprouts were delicious however the burger, flatbread, and fries were all flavorless and lack luster. Man I hate to do this. I really want to like Martini's on Broadway, but I just can't. The food - not good. It just wasn't. I got the coconut mango shrimp as an appetizer. It was probably the most bland dish I've ever eaten in my life, and I'm not exaggerating. It tasted nothing like mango or coconut, and even the shrimp lacked any shrimp flavor. The other confusing thing was that the shrimp was sitting on a bland, dry salad of some kind. It was terrible. I ordered the flank steak. I ordered it medium. The plate that it was on was so warm that it continued to cook the steak, so after two bites the steak was now well done. The potatoes were so garlic forward that I nearly coughed. Girlfriend got the short rib, and it had a really sweet sauce on it? And the risotto was overcooked. I was honestly shocked. The service - the people were friendly, and this is the only reason why this place gets 2* instead of 1*, because the actual service was horrendous. We were all but forgotten. We ordered drinks when we sat down and it took them 30-45 minutes to get them to us. We eventually had to call someone over and let them know that we had tickets to see a show next door, so we needed our food or we were going to have to abandon the dinner. The food eventually came 20 minutes before the show was due to start (we arrived 1hr 30min early, per website instructions). The ambiance was neither here nor there because everything else was so poor. Our table violently wobbled anytime anyone rested their elbow on the surface, so that wasn't great. I actually spilled my very bland cocktail because of the wobbly table. The cherry on top is that this place isn't the cheapest. Everything we ordered was way overpriced. I'm really honestly shocked that they have the gall to charge what they charge, because that food was not good, and it took forever. If you have tickets to the theatre next door, I'd highly recommend eating anywhere else. read more

We came her for dinner before a show at Pitman theater. We had reserved a high top table but there was a mix up with the reservation system (according to the hostess). We ended up seated at a four top table. Our night started out well but our server was extremely pushy in trying to get us to order dinner. We told her multiple times we were having dinner before the show and we were enjoying our martinis before eating. She finally gave us some time to ourselves and we had a seconded martini and then ordered our meals. Decent place to go before a show at Pitman theater. We stopped in before a play at the Broadway theater which is right next door. Pleasantly surprised, we were seated right away with our reservation. Our server, Kim was excellent. Plenty of help delivering food, clearing plates, etc. No messy tables. I ordered a special pork Texas Chimi-Chop, 12 oz bone in served with beans and rice, salsa and veggies. The chop was about an inch thick and cooked to perfection. Very tender and juicy. If you are going to see a play, reservations are a must as the place was packed with theater-goers. Went to Martini's with a friend for a late lunch. It was very quiet only a few people. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. We had the Wednesday specials - Old Fashions & Classic Burgers with truffle fries. The old fashions were great, the burger was okay. The truffle fries were oily so they were not crunchy but soft. We did a fixed price menu and the food was good, options were obviously limited per the menu but portions were huge and tasty. While the server and atmosphere were great, the food not so much. There is no way this is considered "Chicken Parm" . ($26) It was good. The chicken was crispy. Sauce was good. Pasta was cooked nice. There was no cheese to be considered a parm. Had to ask for salt & pepper. They don't keep them on the table . I asked for grated cheese, it was brought to me in a metal shot glass. Very overpriced. A friend suggested we come here with 3 couples on a Friday night for their special 4 course dinner at $39pp. On Tuesday, we were able to get a reservation for the 6 of us at 5:30p and were even asked if we'd prefer a low- or high-top in their bar/restaurant. And boy, it might have been good that we did ... as the place quickly filled up and was packed by around 6:00p. We were immediately seated upon arrival and the waitress came out quickly to take our drink orders while we studied their special 4-course dinner menu. Note that this is the ONLY menu (no a-la-carte) you could order from on nights when a show was scheduled next door in the theater. We all really enjoyed our drinks ... especially my (maybe a little too creamy for me) Endgrain Espresso Martini, my friend's (strong) Ginger Pear Bourbon Smash, (light) Elderflower Martini, and (guy's usual local) Bonesaw Swoosh (juicy IPA) & PumQueen (seasonal pumpkin ale). The 4 course dinner menu included a SALAD -- (standard) Garden or (very nice) Caesar ..... SMALL PLATE -- (fantastic spiced) Siracha Parm Brussel Sprouts, (3 ok) Deviled Eggs, Arancini Risotto Balls, IPA Cheesy Crab Dip with chips, Autumn Bruschetta, or Blackened Chickpea Hummus ..... ENTREE -- (3 small ok) Korean Short Rib Tacos, (nice fresh) Honey (Dijon) Pecan Salmon, Chicken Broccoli Alfredo, Butternut Squash Ravioli, or Coffee Rubbed NY Strip (+$10) ..... and DESSERT -- (only 1 but good) Chloe's Cream (chocolate) Puff or (creamy) Alaura's (vanilla) Ice Cream (though one of us unfortunately got it more icy than creamy). All items came out at a very good pace despite the large crowd ... salads by 6:00, small plates around 6:15, entrees at 6:30, and dessert following. After the check, we were also out the door by 7:00. The manager Mac even stopped by our table possibly 3-4 times to make sure everything was to our satisfaction ... which it was. Only a few minor downsides ... water glasses were super small (almost shot-like) and were served from a medium-sized carafe that was almost empty after we filled our 6 petite glasses. So, some of us (heavy water drinkers) had to ask for larger glasses and another carafe pretty quickly and frequently. Knowing it might not be helped, the single/small/crowded room also had a very high noise level ... which made it a little difficult for conversation. Then, what seemed like a good deal at $39 for a 4 course dinner ... ended up with small portions that left me still hungry after finishing my meal. Ok, ok ... maybe I do need to diet a little, but I didn't really want to start then?!? Overall, it was still a very enjoyable night with good drinks, decent food, and great friends. read more

She was very slow, and no conversation at all. Like a diner waitress energy. Didn't seem to care about her work. We have given this place so many chances. The food is usually good but the service is terrible! We have stayed away for a while but decided to give it a chance last night before going to look at the nearby Christmas lights. It was "Burger Night" and we made reservations First, the hostess (wearing camo pants ?) seats us and no one bothers to greet us. I ask her if we have a server and she says "yes" but continues to do whatever she is doing. The bartender finally came over to the table to greet us. (She is great. We have had her before) Food (2 burgers) takes 40 mins and the fries are cold. Drinks took a while as the table next to us complained about that to us as well. They need to do better. Stopped by Martinis before a show starting at the Broadway Theatre, both of which, I'm told have the same owner. Friendly service at the bar but they close at 7:00pm when a show starts, at least on Sunday nights, and show night menus are prix-fixe. Drinks are a little too foo-foo for me. Could use an upgrade to more of the standard, old school cocktails added to menu, especially since they have black and white photos of Hollywood figures from the 1950s, like Jackie Gleason on the walls. The crowd can be older, but even a younger audience might appreciate an emphasis on expertly crafted mid-century specialties like a Tom Collins, Sazerac, or imported, new specialty gins, with concomitant floral profiles. Yes, I'm a bit of a snob, and I don't go out that often so when I do and I'm paying $12-$15 for a drink, I want something with extra special attention to detail and ingredients. I loved the overall vibe but it was some of the worst service I have ever gotten at a restaurant. Like genuinely WTF. We got our first order of drinks and food in a timely manner, awesome. After that we had to wave someone down after we had been sitting for 45 mins without someone checking on us. We really had no idea who our server was because 4 different people took our order, dropped our food off, and the bartender dropped our drinks off. I looked around at other tables and there were a million glasses sitting in front of the other guests on small tables.....why are we not pre-bussing our tables at an expensive restaurant? There were just so many things wrong with our visit. As a server, I would understand if it was busy to get this kind of service, but there were only 3 tables there! I have never been to Martini's on Broadway. This was my first experience attending on Valentine's Day (2/14/23). This restaurant surpassed my expectations of a good night. The ambiance of the place was top notch! There were chocolates at the door, rose pedals on the floor and tables with floating candlelight to enhance the romance at the table. Then I was given a long stem red rose with the thorns trimmed off. (one for every lady). The music playing in the background was all about love and just blended so well with the experience. Then the food began to come out. The food was amazing, and I believe it was the best meal I have ever encountered. I am a foodie so I have been several places. It was 4 courses with a glass of wine included. The salad was a bowl fresh vegetables dices to fit the mouth or you could opt for a Caesar salad. The appetizer was jumbo lump crab & shrimp cocktail. It was jumbo; both the crab and shrimp came decorated with a lemon and Purple Dendrobium Orchid. Next , came the entrée of lobster tail, filet mignon, creamy mash potatoes, and broccoli. The lobster was delicious and the filet was cooked to perfection and was the best filet I've ever tasted. It melted in your mouth. Finally, a chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream and raspberry sauce was served for dessert. The service was excellent, the food was exquisite, and ambiance was amazingly perfect. After going to the pitman theater my wife and i stopped in for drinks and eats. Place is so so at best. Sandwiches on plain white rolls. Drinks came out in glasses that looked like they were leftovers from broken sets. Also, staff wasn't very friendly at all. First and last time eating here. Went to go see a Guns and Roses cover band at the Broadway Theatre last Friday. Show was at 8, we arrived at Martinis a little bit before 6:30, thinking we could grab some drinks, and a quick bite before the show. Instead, we got meh food, overpriced for what it was, at a EMBARRASINGLY SLOW pace. We decided to eat at Martinis because they are literally attached to the theatre, and we figured that we could get some drinks, maybe a flatbread or two, or at least something quick, and then stagger next door to watch the show. But, when we inquired about seating, the TWO hostesses told us that we HAVE to get their 4 course price fixed dinner option. Immediately, alarm bells went off, and I literally asked, "will there be enough time to eat and still catch the show?" They said yes. The lie detector test determined that that was a lie. The hostesses literally said that they do the mandatory dinner BECAUSE there is a show; they've got a captive audience, and they are sure as shit going to capitalize on it. (BTW, why do you need TWO hostesses? One of them should be running food, as you'll see why shortly.) Anyway, not wanting to waste anymore precious time, and with the hostesses faulty promise that we would have plenty of time, we decided to go with it. (Also, the only seating available was either the bar or outside. Again, thinking it wasn't going to take THAT long, we opted for outside. Our server swung by, (no introduction) and got our orders: two caesar salads, one arancini app, one crab dip app, one tacos meal, one butternut squash ravioli meal, one ice cream, one cream puff. Start the clock...... THIRTY. MINUTES. LATER. the SALADS still hadn't come out. It's a fixed menu, that they are forcing EVERYONE to order from! Why the hell wasn't this stuff FLYING out the door?! So, a little after 7:05, we ask where the absolute hell our SALADS are, and the server says she will go "steal some." (aka, she forgot.) So, the salads come out, and we ask the server to just bring everything all at once, as SOON as it's ready. We were reading the tea leaves, and knew this ordeal was not going to end well. She said, "I'll have the kitchen fire everything at once," which means that our orders weren't even PUT IN YET! Another 20 minutes later, and our apps actually make their way outside via a second server. We ask the second server to PLEASE bring everything all at once, so we could actually have a chance to taste it as we shoveled it down our throats, and she responded with the same "I'll have them fire it" line. (It's FREEZING at this point, btw. There are no heaters or anything for the outside patrons either.) For the apps, "underwhelmed" doesn't do it justice. The crab dip was sweet for some damn reason, and the stuffed arancini balls were cold in the middle. I guess they didn't make it through their entire microwave cycle. *eye roll* So, 7:50ish, we FINALLY get our entrees, an hour and 20 minutes after ordering it, and now have to WOLF DOWN our food. The tacos were disturbingly sweet. (why is everything SWEET?!) I wasn't a big fan. Around the 7:55 mark, we are full on panicking, because there is still a dessert course to WAIT on, and we even contemplated just skipping it, despite having to pay for it. My wife went in to go to the bathroom, I stood up at our table; partly to convey a sense of urgency, partly to stave off the hypothermia that was building. About 8:00, a DIFFERENT server came out with the wrong desserts for us; two cream puffs, but we didn't care at this point, and just threw them in our mouths, while standing at our freezing cold outside table. I BEGGED for the check to come out, at which point our original server finally made an return appearance a few minutes later. Grand total of $130ish for meh food, in a freezing cold patio, delivered at a snails pace. We vowed right there to make that the last time we eat at Martini's. The drinks were fine, which is the only thing keeping them from a one star. read more

Martini's is connected to the Broadway Theatre of Pitman. Since we were going to a show next door, this location was convenient as the two are connected. Fortunately, we made reservations as it was a busy night and were seated right away. We enjoyed the 4-course meal for $39--a great bargain similar to Restaurant Week in Philly. We started with a house salad, could choose between several appetizers (the deviled eggs were a fun choice), and loved the Korean short rib tacos. We ended the meal with a scoop of chocolate ice cream. Martini's has an interesting drink menu, and I appreciated the blue cheese stuffed green olives in my martini. Our server was terrific as well. Don't listen to the bad reviews. I could eat here every week and not get tired of it, we've been many times. Great atmosphere, great music selection (even the Sonos sound system is awesome), friendly service and have never been disappointed by the food, so delicious. LOVE the ambiance! The drinks are first class no matter what you order and the staff is always friendly. The food is tasty and I can tell the chef knows what he's doing. I've just gotta take one star off because I'm vegetarian. There are a couple options but there is literally nothing with protein on the current menu - just veggies and bread. My go to used to be the hummus plate but they took that off the menu. I find myself opting to go to the gastropub up the street instead for hummus or a beyond burger. Hopefully the spring menu will at least have some beans or eggs for us. In any case, it's still my very favorite place in Pitman to go for cool vibes and cocktails. read more

Amazing time at the new restaurant Martini's on Broadway in Pitman, NJ. I was here with my gals seeing a show and we stopped in for some cocktails and apps. Boy, we were not disappointed. Two words: DUCK MEATBALLS!! Such a unique item on the menu that you don't see in other places. Also, the Coconut Curry mussels were absolutely delicious and much different than your traditional mussels in a ciopinno or garlic white wine broth. I had the mushroom risotto that was on special for the even and IT WAS TO DIE FOR!! You can't forget the cocktails too!! The bartenders were working really hard and I had the Creme Brulee Martini, Expresso martini and the Honey and Fig. The martinis were very tasty and had just the right kick to it.
