This was my first time coming here, and it was overflowing with amazing chatter and wonderful conversations. The ambience is really nice but has a lot of different things to look at inside. It's very cute and very tidy and even the restrooms are really cute and very clean. I met with a couple girlfriends and we split a couple dishes. We started with the matzoh ball soup and the crab bisque, which were both delicious and very flavorful , next..... we ordered the turkey burger, which was delicious and we got a side of mixed fruit, which was great and another dish we ordered was the blueberry pulled pork, which was delicious, and they can also do it gluten-free. We did order a side of french fries that was a huge portion and they looked like fresh cut and the skin was on the fries and everything was full of flavor and very fresh. We all agree that we can't wait to return and try more things on the menu. A lot of their dishes they can do dairy free or gluten-free. It was really great to have these options in place everything was very flavorful. The service was excellent and it seemed like they had a couple people that were training and shadowing other servers, but everyone was really chipper and really sweet. It is a hidden gem and the parking lot was really awesome so that we could park securely, but the town looks very walkable and really neat. I would definitely love to come back when I have more time. Well, I pretty sure where I was going to the blue plate on Main Street. My GPS told me that I had reached my destination and I saw the big sign that said BluePlate. It was a pleasant location and I waited for my dining partner standing outside an older looking building, which I thought was a nice venue for a restaurant. But, then I saw my dining partner's car turn into a driveway or street or parking lot. a few buildings down from where I was. Surprise. surprise they were going to the right location. I just parked in the extra parking lot. not the greatest start to an evening's dinner. However, once I discovered the real restaurant, I found that we were eating at a quaint quality dining location. the menu was interesting with some very simple choices. However, I was disappointed to find out there was no soup of the day just french onion and their matzah. Service was prompt and friendly, which you always want when you dine out. Well that was until we were encouraged to leave because reservations were coming in (We had finished dining And we're just conversing so it was not that troublesome that we were basically told we had a couple of minutes to get out of the restaurant.). Our dinner options were a salad and pasta, I chose the small portion of pasta based on the waitress's recommendation and she was right. The food was all really good, which will probably lead to a return visit. The Blueplate appears to offer many interesting options with music and other activities. So kudos to them. read more

Went for brunch and once again this place delivered. Love the vibe of the older building with clean refined and updated interior. 2'd floor experience was cool in a wide open but warm space. Food was once again spot on. I had the Philly Banger - pretzel, eggs scrapple and hollandaise - huh? Love all that and it was DELICIOUS! Had to take a picture. My wife got an unusual but delicous dish with salmon and hard boiled eggs - again unique and tasty. Wait staff was great. 4.5 stars only because the hash browns - good - were warm at best. Was looking forward to trying this place. Unfortunately it was an underwhelming experience. Line was long but moved. Old place with some charm. Server was very nice and food came out in timely fashion. I asked for scrambled eggs with cheese on top. Server said chef would not do that but I could have it more like an omelette. Evidently she was told that it would not be cooked properly or some stupid reason. I say stupid because I always ask for my eggs that way and never a problem at any other place. Got turned off by that statement. Then my toast came burnt so that was second strike for me. Server asked if we wanted onions on our potatoes which we both opted for. Staff were extremely rude to me. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt as it was a busy time when I came in with my friends, but if you as a server are going to be blatantly rude to customers then maybe you shouldn't be working in a customer service establishment. Not to call anyone out, but Marissa could take a lesson or two from the nicer staff there, wherever they were because I unfortunately did not get to meet them. We came in on a Saturday and we only had less than a 10mins wait! This place is bigger than it looks on the inside. We were seated upstairs for breakfast/lunch. THE WINGS were my favorite easily. The dry rub and the ranch was sooo good. The ranch tasted homemade. The fries were huge and the chicken sandwich was too. Two of us went home with left overs. Never in my life have I shad such slimy and super fishy tuna; not only in taste but in odor as well. I ordered medium rare for the tuna as well, and it was ice cold rare seared. I had a cup of French onion soup to start which was overly salty and seemed like it was cooked last week. We ordered a Cannoli French toast for the table, I had the peach pancakes and an off menu side of spinach, mushroom, and goat cheese which came out perfect! Unfortunately our experience was very underwhelming and very disappointing. My daughter's boyfriend ordered a coffee and it was never brought to him. My daughter ordered the Cinnamon Strudel Pancakes with a Vanilla Drizzle lol the Vanilla was sickening sweet, and the pancakes were drowning in the vanilla you couldn't taste anything else. Needless to say she only ate two bites because it was poured on the pancakes not drizzled. The waitress didn't deliver the food, and didn't come back to ask if anything was ok. No one ever refilled my husbands coffee. I had Eggs Benedict and it was good, my only complaint is that the homefries were still hard, they needed to be cooked longer. My daughters boyfriend ordered an omelette, all of the items were cold and just throw on the inside of the plain omelette they made, nothing was mixed together, the cheese wasn't even melted, again his homefries were hard also. My husbands French Toast was just normal French Toast. The fruit & granola yogurt was ok. When I asked the waitress for a box for my food when she came with the bill she told me they didn't have any, a hostess over heard her and brought me a box. This has become one of our favorite spots for brunch. Parking isn't ideal, as it is usually pretty crowded and the lot can be tight, but it's worth it. Our favorite dish is the Philly Banger, which is basically a cheese omelette and scrapple layered on top of a Philly pretzel roll, topped with hollandaise. Home fries are served with or without onions ( I prefer with). We also like to order one of their speciality pancakes or French toasts in a smaller order to share. Today we went with the White Chocolate strawberry stuffed French toast. I also am a huge fan of their iced honey green tea. Now I just need to try them for dinner! read more

Amazing corned beef sandwich. Why did the board walk fries have a gritty texture like sand in T them.

The menu is unique and creative with one of my favorites including the avocado board! My four year old twins loved the breakfast board as well. Not only is the food amazing but for a party of 8 this space felt very open and non cluttered. The staff was amazing, positive and very helpful with recommendations (I was very torn between the lobster bene and the board). We'll def be making our way back.
