Service here is excellent. Beer selection is ok. The men's room is down right frightening like wash the soap before you use it. The food was so much better than you would expect. I love the feel of this place it's old and broken like me. Perfect spot to hang with some friends after work or to grab a quick bite. Pretty sure my wife would like it here as well however if I was trying to impress her like when we first met we would not be going here. I was there on a Saturday and they put free peanuts out in the bar and just throw the shells anywhere. I think it's a great touch and love this the most. I'm really into wings and the wings here were among some of the best I've had. Top 10 probably. Also had a liverwurst and onion sandwich and it was stacked and the rye was fresh. No doubt I'll be back! Oh and they have Tabasco sauce so extra points for that.

The best bar for drinks and food! Not too many bars like this one left. Their food menu and specials are great.

My coworkers after continuous harassment, finally talked me into going here. The atmosphere great. The food excellent. All the beers you could want. Service is money. They have a menu, and daily specials. I snagged a smoked brisket sandwich with a side of potato salad. The brisket was so good the others wanted our food instead of theirs. I shared the wham bam shrimp with another person. Damn! The shrimp was perfect. The cucumber wasabi sauce on point. Listen, if you need a place to unwind at the end of the day, this is it. Plus there's a liquor store attached to it. You can walk right into from the bar. What more do you need?

Good location, parking lot could use a makeover, but fair prices and a good lunch menu, beer is always good and cold and service is good

The drinks are cheap and it is the best hot roast beef on town. You need to come here knowing it is a dive and you won't be disappointed.

Anything and everything you can imagine is on there. You will not have a hard time finding something to eat here. Friendly staff and super attentive. Asked our server for recommendations and she was amazing! She only works there 1 day a week, but comes every morning for breakfast during the week. This is a local place for sure. Ordered a Roma omelette, a meat omelette, and a seafood pasta dish. These portions are absolutely enormous! Unbelievable. The prices are being reasonable for the quantity and quality. Everything was delicious. Omelettes came with home fries and toast. Also got a side of scrapple and a side of sausage gravy. The seafood was delicious as well. Do not leave without grabbing dessert. I repeat, DO NOT leave without dessert. We got 4 pieces of cakes to go - carrot, tiramisu, peanut butter, and strawberry shortcake. All are made by a local bakery and all are fabulous. We blacked out when picking. The serving size is ginormous- like wow!! Good thing we don't live near here. The desserts alone are worth the trip here. Great place for diner food, amazing service, and wonderful desserts. You can tell lots of love is poured into this place.

It's a cute family town of hard-working people that love good food. Here, You still get the warm fresh bread for free with any entrée. Many mini meals are an excellent way to have a dinner time meal at lunchtime You won't see trucks pulling up here with premade food. Everything is fresh and wonderful. The soup is always hot. The food is always tasty and the waitress staff is good. Everybody working here seems to chip in to do what needs to be done and that's the sign of a great restaurant . I've been coming here about 10 years and I plan to visit as often as possible. This visit I saw a party of six men and the waitress asked would these be separate checks or together? Nobody does this anymore offering separate checks. Emphasis is placed on making the customer happy.

We were a little confused when we saw it was a golf club but it's open to the public. The food is awesome. We got a few appetizers. Truffle fries. Most times when you sub out you get a weak salad. My friend got the sugar bacon burger which he said was awesome. That's kinda what I wanted but then I panic picked the blackened tuna sandwich. Which was delicious so I'm not upset. Wife got a taco salad that came in a large corn chip bowl. Tons of chicken on it. Very large portions. Since retired but came here today to see my friend/old customer. Got here at 12pm. Seated quickly in the back (place was very dark). Waitress came by for our soft drinks. I order an ice tea. She came back as the tea had to be brewed - now its noon time and tea for ice tea isnt brewed which took 10/15 mins (first strike). Placed our order - i ordered 5 wings and the roasted veggie grinder. Lunch partner ordered a French dip. Wings came out timely and were good. It took the French dip and roasted veggie grinder 30 mins to come out and the order was wrong - it wasnt a French dip, my sandwich was not toasted, nor did it have the aioli on it either (2nd strike); both went back - server apologized and said remake would come out quickly. There was a table of 3 ladies other side of us and their order came out three times to complete - it came out piecemeal but i digress. Server was clearly embarrassed since she stayed away. I saw her and asked when out food was coming - 1255pm the remake came out. The French dip was supposed to be on a seeded roll which it was not, and my roasted veggie sandwich was a mushy mess of what they called roasted veggies still on a soft ciabatta roll that was not toasted as a grinder should be and the veggies were over salted. (3rd strike) The server offered to have the manager come by but I declined as he/she would not have been happy by the time I was done with him or her. After being closed for a few years was excited to come back. Needless to say wont be going back. It should not take 30 mins for sandwiches to come out, then be a wrong order or not as advertised, then have to wait another 20 minutes for the remake and still be wrong. my sandwich was comped which was kind of the server.
