None of us in the family has been to Wendy's since my last review, but Daughter & I were in the area today, so we stopped in a little after 2 pm. There were only two orders ahead of us, yet it took a good 15 minutes just to get up to the counter. It was as if they were processing one order at a time. From the time we ordered until receiving our food took another 20 minutes. Daughter timed it. We sat for a while, then she went to ask how much longer and was told that we were waiting for the fries. That sounded promising but still, we ended up with lots of short pieces and little tag ends, not worth the wait. At least they were hot, salted just right, and tasted very good. The dining area appears clean and well-maintained. The most annoying thing about today's visit was the number of flies! There were only two groups of us eating there, so we got plenty of attention from the little buggies. I had completely forgotten 'til today that maybe seven or eight years ago, hubby had come in one afternoon in the middle of summer and there were so many flies buzzing around that he said something to the manager about it. The next time he went in, they'd had electronic bug zappers installed, which helped a lot, but now the zappers are only in the atriums, where they are apparently not being very effective, and the flies have returned. We'd have attracted fewer if we'd been sitting outside. I'm not especially squeamish or germophobic, but having numerous flies in a small enclosed public area seems like a major health incident waiting to happen. Management can't possibly be unaware of it! Anyhow, they had a special on the small Frosties for 50¢, so we tried a vanilla. It was thick, like soft serve ice cream, and really good. I had the #1 combo (single burger, no cheese) and Daughter had the #2 (double burger with cheese). I had two bites and couldn't eat any more; the flavor seemed off. It might just be me; I've gotten so used to real beef burgers (not mass-produced and trucked all over the country) from the local diner and I haven't been able to enjoy a fast food burger for years. On the bright side, we found out that they have chili and it's very good! Not overly-sweet or ketchup-y, like other chilis around here, it tasted much more like chili should. It has meat and beans, and while the flavor was mild, it came with hot sauce and optional cheese. We're encouraged that it's still being sold in late May, so we're hoping it's available all year and not just during "chili season". We'd return just to get that! So, overall, it was a disappointing trip. We may or may not return, and if we do, it'll likely be for the chili and/or coffee. read more

Food is fine but this was the first time I've ever run into terrible service. Enough to make me want to say something. The people who work were working here tonight are bunch of rude, acting like they're doing you a favor, employees. And the biggest joke is they get away with the attitude. I'm not making this up...over the intercom someone said "what can I get you" and I gave my order. The guy then goes "like I said...I'll be with you in a sec". What? Not once was that ever said or of course I wouldn't have given my order. Then they're goofing off at the window, ringing up the wrong stuff, laughing like it's a joke, no one knows who gave what order. I didn't get names, but the one girl had a tattoo sleeve, and the other guy was a big dude, with like orange-ish hair and braids. So whoever's on the 7 o'clock shift at the Wendy's sucks lol This is the first time I've ever had a problem at this Wendy's, but it was enough to piss me off. Just lack of basic customer service manners. I didn't even give them an attitude at the window, even though they were all acting like jerks. I was still polite, said thank you, ignored no response. The guy handed me my food...again... like he was doing me a favor. I can't believe I'm taking the time to write this lengthy review for a freaking Wendy's lol but that's how just blatantly rude. These people were tonight. I've never seen anything like it and I understand it's a fast food establishment..., but my God. I've been coming here since I was a kid with my grandparents, but this was enough to just go somewhere else around here. Please do YOURSELF a favor and either go to the McDonald's down the street or find a different Wendy's. Complete joke. read more

Went through the drive thru and one ...with only a single car ahead of me, it took forever for someone to address me on the intercom, and two ...after placing my order, I drove off only to realize later that they didn't include a straw for my drink or a spoon for my chili. read more

it's insane how slow they are. I could go to a farm get a cow, raise it from calf to full grown, butcher it, than go to a store in another state to get all the ingredients to make the food than drive home and cook it myself on low heat faster than it is to wait for even a mobile order from this place. It blows my mind how empty it always is but take 4-6 business weeks to get even a kids meal from here. if the order is even correct. 0/10 they're lucky there's only 2 options in Woodstown for fast food and I prefer Wendy's over mcdonalds. But after tonight's order and the burgers being pretty much raw never again will eat here. Not to mention the run town drive through line. And no body EVER at the first window and just looking in the window driving by it looks depressing inside. read more

I needed to use my gift cards before leaving the country at the end of the month. This Wendy's is the closest to my current base and I've come here every now and again over the years. It's in the Acme parking lot next to the RiteAid. The line was long around dinner time today (surprise, surprise), but they did their best to keep it moving. One super weird thing? They have an automated, peppy girl-voice that greets you and asks what you want as soon as you pull up. I don't know if it's a thing elsewhere because I don't visit the franchise enough, but I think it's just overkill. Especially because I told the fake-person my order and a guy got on the system to ask for my order again. It definitely must suck for the employees. As for the crispy chicken sandwich and fries, they were hot and tasted like Wendy's food. Consistency is the charm in places like this. Thankfully, I used the rest of my gift cards and am unlikely to return, but it's nice to have this fast food mainstay available in Woodstown as an alternative to McDonalds. read more

I used to think it was being short staffed and underpaid/overworked... until... 1 kid was taking orders, money, and preparing them and serving them & 1 person in the grill cooking and that was the first time In forever it was 100% correct! Every once in awhile I forget how awful this place is and go here. It's always bad, every time. This time my coke a cola tasted like a combination of all the other sodas which means they don't clean the fountain soda machine. They always make me pull into a spot or wait away from the window and I get to watch a bunch of people that came after me get their food. I always think about how bad this town's McDonald's is and then I make the mistake of coming to this Wendy's. I don't remember what hot Wendy's food is because I never get my food home in time to enjoy it. If you are thinking about eating here, save yourself some misery and just cook at home. read more

absolutely horrible service. The person in front of us drove away. The person in front of them was still waiting for their food so when we got up we simply just asked will it take long to get our food. (only asked because we were on a time crunch) Their response was the longer you take to order the longer it takes to make your food in an extremely nasty tone. Again a simple no or yes we are a little bit behind would have been just fine. So we will not be returning with that nasty attitude or service. I went through the drive thru today and ordered two 4 for 4's, one as a jr bacon cheeseburger and the other as a jr cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato and onion. The jr cheeseburger had no bacon and was missing two nuggets. The jr cheeseburger had a hair in it and no lettuce and tomatoes AND there was about six fries. I called them to complain and the girl said they'd give me a new sandwich and 4 for 4 (she said she'd write it down in the managers book). I sent my boyfriend to pick it up because I needed to go to work and when he arrived they had no record of me calling and complaining nor did they even take their time to listen to him place the order. This store has no organization. Every time we grab food from here it is messed up or wrong somehow. It is ridiculous how they treat their customers.
