We very rarely eat fast food and go to Burger King, but sometimes a rest stop is the perfect time to eat something quick. My wife has very fond memories of eating Rodeo Burgers and wanted to order one. Unfortunately, we found out that they didn't have it on the menu, so we made our own. We ordered a whopper junior, added onion rings, BBQ sauce and voila - a Rodeo Burger. This burger was actually quite tasty. We've all had good and bad BK experiences depending on the location. This BK certainly does their flame broiled burgers the right way. You get that charred flavor, burger is relatively juicy and onion rings were absolutely delicious. I don't remember onion rings at BK tasting that good. I don't expect anyone to drive to this specific BK, but sometimes it is worth a try and indulge in some fast food. I walked in and loved how it looked like it just had been remodeled. When you walk in there are about 4 kiosks so you can order your food but the one we went to wasn't working. We just tried another one and they took about 10 minutes which wasn't long in my opinion. The associate called my name and told me she packed extra ketchups in my bag for me which was very much appreciated. Food tasted great!!! If you want something good and fast stop here!!!!! read more

Went here on Sunday May 11th 2025 with my parents after using the restroom in Clara Barton Service Area, where this is located. One can place your order electronically- and there are about 4 kiosks that one can do so with. I ordered a medium Chocolate shake and an impossible burger, my dad ordered a chicken sandwich and a whopper, and my mom tried the fiery chicken sandwich. Total was about 45.00. It's kind of sad that fast food almost cost as much as going to a formal restaurant. it is also kind of sad that Burger king has all electronic ordering- granted, in a rush and know what one wants-- easy to do, but sometimes a cashier taking your order can be best- like extra ketchup anyone? lol We managed using the ordering machine and it was easy to use. Order was ready in a reasonable time frame. A person called out the name on the order when it was ready. We sat down at a table and ate our meals. I enjoyed my impossible burger and shake, however my parents didn't really enjoy their meals- said that the taste was off. Mine was good however. May consider this for lunch again! read more

Would you give a one star review to Dwayne Johnson (The Rock) because his latest action clodfest is beyond cartoonish and unworthy of an Oscar nomination. As they say, it is what it is and, you knew that going in. What is far more pertinent is that most fast food troughs, be they clown or king, are now just as expensive as an entry-level casual joint like Applebee's. I live in NJ & currently go to Maryland every other weekend. I stop at the same BK on the way almost every time. I saw the sign that said last exit in NJ & wanted to spend money in NJ instead of another state. You have to go inside since there is no drive through. I prefer this anyway rather than letting your car idle, unnecessarily burning gas & all the additional packing materials that are used ina to go order. The woman who seems to work every Friday is the most pleasant, friendly person who has ever helped me at a BK. Just hearing her interact with other customers & ask me how I'm doing gave me a little more faith in the human race. The food is made fresh, just how you like it. It was a little more expensive at the rest area than in a local town, but I wasn't about to drive out of the way & waste time to save a dollar or two. read more

Terrible service. They were the only food option open besides Starbucks at 8ishpm Friday. Girl at the front didn't even acknowledge me or the 15 people behind me as she waited for the 4 orders ahead of me to come together. Most of the estimated 5-6 staff appeared to be cleaning up. Understandable, but the older gentleman that came out to give the staff in the back a pep talk,"2 more hours".... My burger patties were hard and had to have been sitting on a warmer cause one small section was "warm?" My last experience on the garden state parkway has left me never wanting to return to any of them ever again. Eat here, and you will get the worst service, stale buns, cheap admiration mayonnaise, wilted lettuce, burgers that have sat for hours, and fries that smell and taste like rancid oil. DO NOT EAT HERE. I ordered a burger through the kiosk. I watched as the employee with tall braids on her head used her long finger nails to pry apart my cheese. It disgusted me. She only had one glove on, no hair net, and was just sitting behind the counter, typing away on her phone, prior to making a sandwich and her mask was halfway down her face. Stood in line for forever just to be told that they don't sell any specialty sandwiches. I only come to Burger King for the Rodeo Cheeseburger. Needed to use the family bathroom but it had no locks on the doors. Had to go somewhere else.

The servers were polite, but the food was awful. I don't know how Burger King has gotten a contract for the travel stops in New Jersey, but the state certainly should not renew this contract. The fries were so bad that although my husband only ate a few of them we were both sick for several hours after eating them. I cannot recommend Burger King even for a fast-food treat. read more

There were plenty of people working and yet two girls one with glasses were ignoring the line and then when they started taking orders they ignored the people in line and continued gossiping about whether or not one of the girls was friends with someone and couldn't get the order right without asking what they said each time something was added to the order, extremely rude and ignorant workers do not recommend. read more

Prices that are advertised are not what you pay! I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich. Advertised as $5.59 for sandwich only and it was actually $6.39 with tax, total was $6.81! Fix your pricing on your menu or give it to the customer for the advertised rate! They also forgot to put lettuce and tomato at minimum on the sandwich even after I asked for it!
