It was bad enough that I rarely leave one-star reviews, but that night earned it. Fast forward to tonight--and this felt like an entirely different restaurant. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was calm and organized. The host stand was under control, we were seated quickly, and service flowed exactly the way it should. Orders were taken promptly, drinks came out fast, and the food arrived hot and fresh without a long wait. The staff was friendly, professional, and engaged. No tension. No confusion. Just solid, efficient service and the comfort food Cracker Barrel is known for. Because of this visit, I'm taking down my original review. The issues I complained about were real at the time, but they've clearly been addressed. This was a genuinely pleasant dining experience and a strong reminder that places can improve when the right changes are made. Well done. Keep it going.

I got up from my table and asked thentwo employees standing at the door to 'please tell that girl to not use that disgusting broom that she was just sweeping the patio with on the tables'. I sat down. These two employees told the girl what i said who then proceeded to take the broom and sweep the tables again!! I got up again and asked for a manager who I was told was outside (and obviously saw her do this). I then (rather angrily, I do admit) walked up to her and explained the situation (meanwhile the young lady walked by me and smirked). The manager told me she would discuss it with her later. I asked her if she was OK with what the girl did and she reiterated what she said - that she would discuss it with her later - that she was in a meeting. I replied "I bet you will" and walked away. Whatever you do, don't eat on those tables!!! And, if that is their definition of sanitation and cleanliness, not too sure I'd eat inside either.
