I had one of the most frustrating fast-food experiences I've ever encountered at this Burger King. I placed a simple mobile app order for a single slice of pie. When I arrived, I attempted to go inside, but the doors were locked despite the posted hours indicating the dining room was open. With no other option, I entered the drive-thru. There was only one car ahead of me, but it appeared to be waiting for quite some time before even placing its order. When I finally reached the speaker after several minutes, an employee abruptly said, "I'll be right with you," and immediately cut off any chance for me to respond. The problem is they never came back. Fifteen minutes later, the vehicle ahead of me was still sitting at the pickup window waiting for its food. At no point did anyone return to take my order, acknowledge my presence, or attempt to help me. Since my order was already placed through the app and consisted of nothing more than a piece of pie, it would have taken only a few seconds to assist me or direct the other customer to pull forward if their large order was causing delays. After wasting a significant amount of time, I left without receiving any food at all. Unfortunately, the customer service experience was nearly as bad as the restaurant experience. Contacting Burger King customer service meant dealing with an AI system that seemed incapable of handling anything beyond generic scripted questions. After I took the time to explain exactly what happened, the conversation abruptly ended. The follow-up email from customer service was equally disappointing. Their initial response to a customer who never received their order was to offer a $3 coupon--as if I would want to return and risk repeating the same experience. A refund should have been the first offer, not a coupon designed to get me back into the same situation. Only after I rejected the coupon did they finally offer a refund for the food I never received. This location has serious customer service and operational issues, and corporate customer service appears more interested in handing out coupons than properly addressing legitimate complaints. Between the locked doors, excessive wait times, complete lack of communication, failure to provide food that was paid for, and ineffective customer support, this was an exceptionally poor experience from start to finish. I will not be returning and would strongly encourage management--both at this location and at the corporate level--to reevaluate how customers are treated. read more

This location offers a two for $5 or 3 for $7 menu. I ordered two items on that menu and they charged me regular price. When I drew it to their attention, they said that I had to say the word Duo to get the special price. Since I hadn't , they wouldn't adjust my bill. It seems they are trying to trick their customers. When I review Fast-food Restaurants my star ratings are based off other Fast-food Restaurants, which are different from sit-down restaurants. This Burger King location for me gets 4 stars solely on the accuracy of the orders and the way the orders are prepared. 3 stars on speed and sadly like most Fast-food Restaurants 2 stars for employees being friendly and welcoming.(Only Chick-fil-A employees do that well) I ordered a Double Whopper with Cheese, and when I unwrap it and it looks neat and appetizing. Not a mess like some locations. I've never been to a Fast-food place and the food looks like the menu board or the commercials but I hate when I get it and it looks like the employees were just throwing it together, that is not the case with my experiences at this location. Not the fastest at getting me my order, but for me, accuracy and presentation is more important than speed. This is the closest BK to me so I will update next time I go. read more

The people who work there are just very rude and unprofessional. I have gone to the drive-thru twice and seem to get the same lady. Her attitude when taking my order was just so disturbing. Food is not good. Ordered 4 jalapeno bites. They were precooked. Not cooked to order. They were not even warm. The inside was cooked out leaving no cheese but a bread shell only. My bacon double cheese burger wasn't even warm enough to even slightly melt the cheese. I paid extra for a larger drink which was 100% full of ice and barely even a small drink worth of actual tea. Every time I order here it takes over 10 minutes if waiting in line to get my food. This isn't FAST for a FAST FOOD restaurant if you have to waste half your lunch time waiting in line not even eating. The worker at the window had nails so long she couldn't touch the key pad of the point of service register. Also was not wearing a mask at the window. Other workers at other visits are not polite and seem under educated in how they speak to customers, the manager, at times, included. This place is a disaster. BEST BURGER KING EVER!!! Granted, I haven't been inside a BK for about eight years or more, and we've been occasionally driving past this one since it opened (we don't do fast food much, these days), but it's intrigued us because it looks like a little medieval castle. This is where Grandson wanted to close out his birthday, after an afternoon at Toys 'R' Us and Chuck E. Cheese (among other stops) in Deptford. We arrived around 7 or 7:30 pm, and it was almost empty, which suited me. Service was prompt and super-friendly, the food arrived quickly, correctly, and was good. Each of the kids got balloons (I don't know if they always give them out, or if it was because G'son announced (as he did everywhere) that it was his birthday, and there were a bunch of the BK crowns sitting next to the soda tower, there for the taking. We asked about the room that we'd passed in the lobby as we came in, and the associate said that "that's the kids' room". G'son asked right away if he could go check it out, and we said "sure". We could see him through the glass, jumping up and down, waving his arms, wearing an expression of complete joy, so we knew where we'd be sitting. ;) His joy was warranted. It's not only the kids' party room, it's outfitted to look like a medieval castle on the inside, too. The best part is the interactive games projected onto the wall and floor via their EyePlay system. We had the kids' room to ourselves, so we all got to play. The only downside of this location is getting there for the first time. There's no entrance from the main road (Broadway), you have to take the little road that's between Broadway and Hook Road (the "Old Pennsville-Auburn Road/North Hook Road"). From there, there's a driveway on the north side of the road. Now, I wish I'd taken more pictures of the place! For an area where there's not much happening that's new, different, exciting, and cool, I'd have thought that their Yelp reviews and Facebook pages would be blowing up, but maybe, somehow, the word's just not out there, yet. This is most definitely a place I'd pick for a birthday party, and it's not nearly as far from home as everything else is. So tonight my boyfriend and I decided to go to Burger King in Pennsville New Jersey. When we walked in it seemed that all the staff members did not want to take our order. Not only were the stuff in the back messing around and laughing but the staff member that was upfront did not take our order at first. At first my boyfriend and I waited until a staff member approached us to take our order, after waiting a few minutes my boyfriend and I decided to ask to have her order taken. Once our order was done we received our food. Not only was the burger thrown on the Patty, it was old and shriveled, ( as you can see in the photos). To avoid conflict my boyfriend and I decided to throw the food in a bag, throw it in the trashcan and leave. It is a shame that this Burger King has gone downhill. This is one of the worst burger kings I've ever seen. I was already unsure about eating Burger King but I saw it had a 4.5 rating, clearly I got tricked. If I had seen the McDonald's right across I would have never came here. Save your time and go to the McDonald's across the street. Burger King is now where the Taco Bell use to be. The food is fine. Just like any other Burger King establishment. But the workers, are beyond rude. I brushed it off a few times, everyone has a bad day every once in a while but this was every single time we have been, 5 times, in the past month. the workers are always mean. We have a simple order and are always nice when placing it. The girl in the window was immediately negative no smile no hello nothing just the price and snatched the card out of my hand after I said hello. Then they didn't give us half the order so we asked them to fix it. The girl in the window acted like it was our fault saying "ugh what?! Fine" The last straw, I tried to stay positive and nice. She never gave our credit card back. I asked her for it and she said "what?!" I said "my credit card. you forgot to hand it back to me" this girl looked at me in disgust, took the card out of the reader and basically threw it back into my car. I was passing through Pennsville. I ordered 2 cheeseburgers, small fry without salt & strawberry shake. Everything was great including the temperature of food. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. The employees were friendly and welcoming, they acted like they wanted my business. Definitely a place I would return to in the future. read more
